1225 South Church is an excellent option, near to the uptown and transit way, not expensive the leasing and very flexible for the duration terms. The support for the staff office was excellent, professional and dedicated personal. Nice experience live here.

In the few weeks here we've had no complaints. The move in process was efficient and we like the community and area. So far we are extremely satisfied overall with the experience and plan to stay here when our lease is up. The people in the office have been very professional.

Apartment maintenance Service is good, atmosphere is friendly with neighbors. A Quiet and a busy pool for any kind of day you fancy. Office staff are helpful when you speak face to face, but not great at getting through to on the phone. Overall I loved my view and amenities. Got a little too expensive to renew.

Love that this complex is extremely pet friendly! Most occupants are good at cleaning up after their pet as well. A good place to live if you like to be close to uptown, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Staff is great, very friendly and accommodating.

Awesome location. Nice pools. Great staff in the leasing office - I mean they are great. every request we have made has not only been handled in a timely manner, but they are so pleasant to talk to its almost nice to have a problem so you can chat with them. Nice amenities in the common areas like pool and foosball.

As previously mentioned my experience here has been great and the notable improvements Lauren Crisp has made as Property Manager have made it even better. Her implementation of improvements to staffing, amenities, community engagement, and exceptional service delivery are exemplary. Many thanks as well to her team.

The location of this apartment is great! It is close to food, bars and the light rail. The building is fairly new and they keep it maintained well. The maintance team and staff are friendly and efficient. I love my new apartment at 1225 south church street.

Best location in South End. I would reccomend a friend to live at 1225 South Church. Great community for anyone that is new to the Charlotte area as I have met many friends in the community. Not to mention, the onsite amenities which are double other communities in the area.

Like the living space, but the amenities need to have better upkeep. The grill is consistently disgusting, and a lot of common-areas equipment (such as pool tables, computer / printers) is consistently non-existent or broken. The staff is nice and usually helpful. A better process for packages being held in the leasing office should be reported -- I don't know all the time when a package is being delivered, and I don't always find out that they are there (I got one 2 months after it had be received).

This apartment is too much of a party place. No quiet hour rules enforced and our personal property (door mat and wreath) has been numerously stolen, moved or switched. We receive numerous letters on our door but I have not seen anything change.

I love it here! 1225 has everything we need and it's a great location. The staff is great and the apartments are beautiful on the inside and out! Right when I toured the grounds I knew this was the place for me. Amazing amenities are offered. Great atmosphere!

Office staff is nice and very helpful. All of the facilities and grounds are kept looking like new. The apartments are located close to everything. Easy access to walk to the light rail as well as bars and restaurants. The experience so far has been great and everyone seems very friendly.

Reasonably nice apartments, however there are several new policies that have been rolled out without consulting residents that have significantly reduced the value of the apartments. Office staff is uninformed and unhelpful. Elevators are convenient for 1/2 of residents and are slow and beat up. They leave the move-in padding up in one year round which looks very tacky.

The location is amazing! Right where you want to be in South End with awesome views of Uptown. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue, although they would only allow 1 garage spot even with 2 people on our lease. The apartment was clean and the pools are really nice. We are the only unit without a balcony, which we didn't know at first, so that was a bit of a let down. Having 2 gyms and 2 pools is a huge bonus.

Very quiet for a Southend apartment! They price is more reasonable compared to other places - high enough to keep professionals neighbors here. I wish it was a little closer to the light rail. I like that most (if not all) units have a balcony. I just wish both pools were open!

The amenities and community at 1225 South Church is what makes it special. From the gym and heated pool to the courtyard and -------- 1225 is a blast. The people that run 1225 is another reason I recommend it. They are always there to help and are quick with a response. They truly do care about their residents. And when it comes to the location you aren't gonna beat it, walking distance from uptown but far enough away to avoid traffic. It's a great place to live.

This is a great community with a lot of useful amenities. I really like that the rail is only two blocks away. It is a great location if you are working in Uptown. This place is very let friendly and kept up very well. I highly recommend this complex.

I feel the fees for everything were not properly explained saying that these fees were "included" in the rent, not on top of the rent. Other than that, this place is a good place but not the best value in the area for what the competitors have as well.

This apartment complex has a great location and offers excellent customer service. The office staff is always friendly and any issues are addressed right away. The only negative comment is that rent is overpriced for the comparable value.

Price increase on rent year to year is out of check and way to high given the surplus of demand in the area. Each year the increase is ridiculous and they always lower it when countered. In a past maintenance call scheduled by the office, not me, to repair concrete on the balcony my glass coffee table was broken. The front office was no help in this. They claimed it was an outside contractor and didn't really help or seem concerned. On follow-up calls they said they contacted the contractor but hadn't heard back. Weeks later I'm stuck with a broken table I have to try and fix myself as it's discontinued and replacement parts are unavailable.

Overall, I have enjoyed living at 1225. The apartments are spacious, there are plenty of recreational activities within the complex and there's a year round heated pool. The office staff is helpful and maintenance will respond to all requests within 24 hours. It is a super safe community and right in the heart of the South End area.

Overall: The apartments are new and really spacious. The appliances are modern. The office staff is awesome, they helped me with every request I had. It is very close to Panthers stadium so expect heavy traffic and lots of tailgating during game days 1225 S Church offered complementary tailgating on several occasions which is amazing. Price: For the SouthEnd area prices are competitive (compared to Camden or Mosaic for example). The unit, staff and amenities were the best deal for what I was looking for. The apartment is less than a mile from Uptown (10-15 min walk). When my lease expired, I stayed with 1225 S Church, but I switched from a 1 bedroom apartment to a studio without any hassle. Noise: For my first year I lived in a one bedroom with courtyard view, during the summer it can get pretty crowded and loud, as most of the residents are young, but the staff at the leasing center was very helpful when dealing with complaints about this. The studio rented for my second year is on the side with S Church street and there is absolutely no noise whatsoever. Parking: although I read a lot of comments about parking, I might be one of the lucky ones then, because in 18 months of living here I never had a single problem with parking, and I always parked my car in the garage and not on the street. Maintenance and Staff: All my maintenance requests and correspondences have been resolved timely and professionally. Safety and Grounds: Never had a problem! The neighborhood is safe. My wife or I have never had an issue with being afraid to walk around the property at any hour of the night. There was one single incident since I moved here, where a number of cars have been broken into (at night, at the same time), because residents left valuables in plain sight, or even their cars unlocked. Although the neighborhood is safe and this was the only occurrence, you are asking for it if you leave your car unlocked, even in a gated garage.

I moved into Phase 2 at 1225 Church in August. I had previously lived at Quarterside on 7th and McDowell which was a nightmare. My dog got bit and died by a pit bull that was running loose on the property. Every weekend during the summer there was music blasted at the pool and residents and Non-residents smoking hookahs and passing glass bottles of liquor and beer. The apartments were old and tired and not worth $1300 for 825 sq feet. The neighborhood was dangerous and I could not walk my dog after dark. NOW TO PRAISE 1225 CHURCH- the apartments are new and nice. The appliances are modern and new. Maintenance is the best. The maintenance staff are professional and polite and fix your issue SAME DAY. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Lauren, Hallie, Rachael and Ethan are awesome. The neighborhood is safe. I have never had an issue with being afraid to walk around the property at any hour of the night. I have a very spacious one bedroom for a reasonable price for living 1 mile from the center of town and 1 block from all great restaurants, bars, stores and music venues in South End. The light rail is a short walk if you don't want to drive into uptown. The clubhouse and pool are beautiful and the courtyard and very nice. They also have 3 big grills. The fitness room is nice but a little small. With any large property in uptown Charlotte you will have someone who doesn't pick up after their dog. The average age of the residents is probably 29 and single so there will be some partying but it rare when it is out of hand. If you want a property that is quiet with no partying go to the retirement home in Myers Park. I am 54 years old and I love my young neighbors. Game days are a blast with all of the tailgating and Panthers fans walking to the stadium. PARKING - if you live in a 1 bedroom you get 1 parking pass which gives you access to the gated parking. Some residents want to break the rules and park in the gated area when they do not have a pass. When people didn't follow the rules and be respectful of the rules it would cause parking issues. Management addressed the issue and fixed it. I LOVE 1225 - I just renewed my lease!

We were so excited when you found this apartment. Unfortunately, this is a $1400 a month shanty town. This is the most expensive (one bedroom) I have ever lived in and the worst (including my senior year on-campus apartment). I would assume that my fellow residents are not college students (because it's so expensive) but they certainly act like they are. Dogs run free around the apartment and outside. I have two dogs who I keep leashed (obviously) and we have had several dogs run up at them, which is dangerous. Many residents do not clean up after their dogs which is disgusting. A resident threw a pumpkin from their apartment and damaged a car. Trash is found all over the parking lot. The people who work in the office are extremely rude after you sign the lease. We live in the newer building and it already looks old. The carpets in the hallways are very dirty. I am so disappointed with this apartment and annoyed because I do not want to move again! I would live here for $900 a month only because I hate moving. The location is great and that is the only positive of the complex.
