Don't rent here, the leasing office doesn't care about the tenants and only interested in the payments. The maintenance staff takes a long time to put temporary fixes which don't last for long....Security is a big concern here, apartment /car break ins, car keyed in, broken swimming pool locks, muggings seem to be catching up a lot here. Leasing office refuses to take any remedial action and/or put some security cameras, gates/fence in place and passes off the buck to the police department. This place is useless.... :(

I lived in this apartment for about a year. Overall, the apartment was okay to say the least. I never had any problems with any of the staff, and they were pretty prompt about any issues I had in my apartment. I will say that my particular building did have a roach problem, though I never found any in my apartment...they were ALL over the stairwell. We pay monthly for pest control, yet they never came and sprayed the apartment. Another issue I noticed was the apartment overall was very outdated. My sink and shower heads were rusted and our appliances were just blah. The trash situation was very disturbing. There is only one dumpster for the complex and when it's full...residents pile their trash in front of the unit and it's gross. I felt bad for the apartment near the dumpster. Though, my boyfriend and I did get a nice deal on a two bedroom and the neighborhood was quiet, peaceful and clean.

No complains so far. Quick and timely service for any maintenance. Clean environment. Though the buildings are bit old, they are maintained well. A great location for people working at downtown. 54X and 22 bus stops at stone throw distance.

The apartment was okay. Professionalism was okay. Had couple of issues with the apartment. The sun light in our apartment was not good. We always has to turn on the light. Our apartment was under remodelling so we couldn't get a chance to enter into the apartment prior signing the lease.

So far so good. would definitely recommend theses apartments to a friend or family member. wouldn't even mind staying another year, but that just solely depends if the value of the apartment goes up. Overall, i have had a good experience so far!

I have had no issues except for some minor issues with maintenance. Most of my neighbors are quiet. The complex is well maintained. And Krystina in the office has been super helpful anytime I have had an issue or complaint.

Colonial Grand is in a great location. Lot's of things to do around this area of town. Close to both uptown Charlotte and Concord Mills. The apartment that I moved into was renovated right before I moved in. It was well done and looks great. The floor plan for this unit is very open.

I moved here last minute because I had nowhere to go and they could fit me in. I have had several unpleasant experiences with the staff. The parking lot is trolled by local tow trucks under request of management. I've had big obnoxious stickers posted on my cars because they were supposedly expired tags, but they were up to date. There is no good will between management and residents, very much "us versus you" mentality when dealing with any problems. Will not be resigning my lease.

Thus far we have truly enjoyed and pleased with our decision to lease a home in the community. The staff and maintenance have been very responsive to our request and needs. I really enjoyed the staff morning breakfast treat, events like that make me excited to live here.

very clean, staff very professional.Noise level is very good. Neighbors are present. Only one guy doesn't clean up after his dog. Other than that I am very satisfied. I lived in the Colonial Grand Apartments when I moved to Charlotte, NC. Keep up the good work.

The Apartment is old but located in a central place. It has green walks nearby which is an added plus. The doors and cabinets are old and you will have cosmetic issues you can live with. The maintenance team is prompt and courteous. The cleanliness of hallway should improve. Nice facilities but the fenced play area is useless. It can be converted to tennis court. sufficient parking spaces available. Need more events to get to know the community.

It's ok- I don't always feel safe and the ground floor has issues with mold which the staff refuse to recognize. The maintenance crew keeps the ground clean and in good looking condition which is a plus. The pool is nice. Recently ? installed speed bumps should keep out speeding traffic. Again, there are a lot of moisture issues. Being near the Greenway is a plus.

convenience! Convenient to access to shopping entertainment etc. However the exterior lighting is an issue. Breeze ways are not clean. We can improve the children play area and come up with a basket ball court.There is no net provided in the Tennis count.

I am living well and comfortable but only conside is price. One of my friends moved in this community this year and his price is less $100 than me per month and I am feeling each year rate price got increased. Now each month I am paying $900+ per month, is it way that it can be reduced somehow?

The apartment is situated in a very good location, close to bus stands, shopping malls, groceries, etc. The staff in the office are courteous, but the prices are a bit high for the value received. The closets are very small, there is no shoe rack provided at the entrance. The alarms don't work properly. Also, the water from the shower becomes cold very fast during the winter. The carpet on the floor is not evenly spread at all places. There are no swings in the play area for children.

This community is convenient to 3 major roads, the university, and a major mall. The locations of the grocery stores are a plus, as well as a safe location for your kids, home, and cars. The schools are above average to excellent rating. This is an overall above average place to live.

Too much drug activity and not enough managerial involvement in addressing and or aggregating communal issues such as garbage and litter. The garbage and beer bottles in the playground issue speaks volumes.

I really enjoy staying in my apartment complex. There is never any crime or anything going on. I can walk to the garbage & the mailbox anytime and I feel protected, there's always security right around which I really enjoy it makes me feel a lot safer. My only concern is that I pay almost $10 for trash and every time I go to dump my trash ismt is overflowing and coming out of the container it looks very unattractive for us to pay so much for trash

Haven't had any bad experience as of today. The only minor problem I've had has been noise from the neighbor next door during the night hours. Overall my experience has been good. I have no complaints other than the price range. I believe the prices could be lower.

This apartment was good when we first moved. Since then, it has gone downhill. I never walk around my unit without smelling weed, there is poor lighting at night, the grounds need to be taken care of better and the appliances need to be updated.

So far I haven't had any serious complaints. I am enjoying my stay so far. The only thing I can say is the fact that I am being charged for cable even though I am would rather have the option to not have it if I could but it's not a big deal to me personally.

I like the area. It's close to everything. I live in an upgraded apt & it's beautiful. It's spacious. Love the walking trail right next to the apts. Staff is nice & very helpful to me when I call them

I have enjoyed my brief time at Colonial Grand at Legacy Park. The rent is reasonable and the staff are very helpful. The fitness center has good equipment and the pool looks beautiful. The only negative for me is the noise from Mallard Creek Road. Overall, a great place to live.
