They will lure you in making you think only one unit is on special. Then you overhear a staff member telling other prospective tenants all of the units are on special. They just want your $100 application fee and admin fee. The property manager called at the end of the business day 4 days after the special ended and then did not give me a chance to call back. Instead she deposited my check for $249. I had to complain and leave letters and I have to wait 30 days for my money to be refunded. She had no reason to deposit the check knowing I only wanted to apply for the special. They did not approve the application in time as the special ended 3 days after I first applied. Sneaky shady business. I liked the location and the updates were subpar but livable. UPDATE I filed a complaint with the BBB and the company lied. They never reached out to me. They took the side of the property manager lying saying that they could not get in touch with me. The property manager called me on a Friday at 4:27 pm and deposited the admin fee the same day. She knew the apartment would not be approved unless it was under the rental special and that had ended.Why did she deposit the check anyway? I do not trust this property!! Now I have to wait 30 days for my admin fee. Bad business practices. I must add their updates are not worth the money. The property is only good if you get it lower than over $900. You can tell it was shotty work.

I've been a resident for over a month now. So far, the office staff have been awesome. Very friendly, informative and accommodating. The maintenance staff respond quickly and professionally. The apartments are beautiful and the environment is mostly quiet and peaceful! I'm sure I made the right choice!

Hi! I enjoy my clean, adorable, spacious, and elegant single bedroom apartment. I am very happy here and always feel safe. It is an extremely convenient area. Also, most of the staff are very nice and welcoming.

I have been living in the apartments for 2 years. The staff is very good to work with. The only problem I have had is with my A/C unit going out on me in the summer. It took them a couple of days to get it fixed. They had to bring in the head maintenance person to get it fixed. I would tell any of my friends about Arboretum Apartments.

I have been living here with my family and have had very good experience so far. Here are the following pro's as to why I think its great place: 1. Walking distance to Arboretum Mall where lot of stores are there including Walmart and Harris Teeter 2. Excellent rated schools in the neighbourhood 3. Very Great transport connectivity to the downtown/uptown or shorter miles to offices 4. Wonderful Office/Maintenance staff, Service Requests are promptly taken care of 5. Well maintained Swimming pools both indoor and outdoor 6. Tennis Courts, Billiards Room, and Club House to host parties Overall, I like the place very much and have nothing bad to say about it.

No washer in the apartment, only common washer-dryer

This apartment complex is very conveniently located, has a great clubhouse and amenities, and the office staff is second to none! The folks in the leasing office made the process so easy and while there's lots of places to rent in Charlotte they are the reason I chose to sign a lease and move in. Thanks again Kathryn!

Too many noisy young people blaring loud music. They are also throwing trash on the ground and having ten or more people living in an apartment at a time. Two nights ago, I had to call the police because they were fighting in the parking lot.

If you want good schools, strong public transport, shopping area in your neighborhood, spacious and upgraded apartment then "Arboretum" would be the better choice. Arboretum staff is really attentive and giving great TAT on maintenance front. --

I have lived here for 6 mths, My tour and initial introduction to the community was great. However I had the worst move in experience ever!! Needless to say everybody at the Arboretum Apartments dropped the ball regarding my move in. I did end up getting everything rectified and they compensated me accordingly. Everything since then has been good. Maintenance is extremely nice & the girls in the front office are understanding and nice. For the most part the neighborhood is quite with descent amenities and great floor plan layouts. The property is in desperate need for an update witch the company is in the process of doing.

I have lived here for over a year now and I am sad to say I have to leave because of work. I have really enjoyed living at this place. the staff is great in the office, they always listened to me and I could tell that they cared about what I had to say. the clubhouse is the nicest one I have seen with tons of things to do like play pool, swim, workout or just watch tv. I have been looking for a new place because my job is requiring me to move and I can not find anywhere as good as the arboretum! I would advise any of my friends to make this place their home

I only live in the Apartments now almost a year now. The trash fee is crazy. Its to high. The apartments its self are nice. If the trash fee come down it would not be a bad place to to stay

I have lived in the Arboretum Apartments now for several years. I have seen many changes both in the Management and the type of people living here. I honestly can't say that either has been an improvement. The trash fee is a over priced rip-off!

I been here for several months, me an my kids are enjoying this peaceful place. The office staff is very nice, the maintenance staff are respectful an do there job. This area is very convenient, close to all the stores right across the street from us. An my kids love the school. Very quiet home to alot of family's. So if your looking for space in your apt, nice fitness center, indoor an outdoor pool with huge clubhouse, and very convenient shopping area this is the place.

Very very poor maintenance and very old apartments in South Charlotte. When this place was managed by Simpson Properties the place was tolerable even though I didn't like it because the management at least kept the club house and the gym well maintained. The apartment new management(Conour Group)turned off Aircondition in Gym and Club house to save their electric bill and the computers and printer is not working since two months and no action is taken yet to fix and atleast the management is not trying to fix the issues. I don't see any lawn maintenance since two months and grass dried out due to no watering and no gross cutting. The management attitude is to loot the tenants same time they don't want spend money to maintenance of community amenities and apartment amenities. So far I have enjoyed living here. I think the office needs to tell the new residents about the cash card that is used when they move in so we know how the machines work. I did not know this until I got to the laundry room and had to go to the office to get one. Also why does the machine not take $1.00 bills. Also I was told that my water bill and trash pick up was taken care with my rent. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill. Also I am wondering how much a month I am paying for garbage pick up? I am very pleased with everything else here. The staff is always very friendly and professional when I see them. My repairs are always taken care of when I report them to the office. Thank you

I like my apartment at the Arboretum Apartments. I enjoy the neighborhood and you can walk a lot to grocery stores and restaurants. You can also take the bus here if needed. It is a nice neighborhood and it is quiet. They just renovated my apartment and it is nice. These apartments are also in a good school district. Enjoy the apartment very much.

I love living here and have been here for 2 years. It is a safe, little quiet neighborhood tucked at the end of Providence. Staff are very friendly. Neighbors are lovely. The apartments are older but the complex acts fast to repair things. It is super safe to run and walk. Pet friendly AND people scoop the poop! My only concern is that the laundry facility is always filthy. The machines need to be wiped down and the place just needs to be bleached. Overall would recommend it to a friend.
