My experience with the Village at Common Wealth has been a good one thus far. The customer service is superb and I look forward to living here for the rest of my lease. The environment is clean and I feel safe

We have loved living at The Village and it doesn't seem that there is any better apartment community around that is walkable to a vibrant neighborhood, while also being within 10 minutes of other popular neighborhoods (NoDa, South End, Uptown, Cotswold). For the price, along with the sense of community, the quality, and the location together you will not find anything better.

I have really enjoyed living here over the past 3 years. It is super dog friendly and the amenities are very nice! However, I will say that the amenities seem to be down more often this year than recent years.

I've really enjoyed the villages at commonwealth. It's been a great community to live in and they have routinely updated and changed amenities to keep themselves at a high value. The cost of rent is probably a little higher than most other properties, but you do get a lot here for what you pay for. Units could have slightly newer/nicer appliances but honestly they're not bad and in great condition.

It's not a bad apartment, it's just also not a great apartment. The experience you get when you move in is somewhat underwhelming compared to the experience you're sold before moving in. Maybe it's because of my profession, but I highly value service and quality control, and I do think that's lacking here. From staff service, the smell of dog urine, portal issues, etc. It doesn't feel like the complex is proactively thinking about its residents - or the different types of residents it has. But in general, the amenities are nice and much better than what you typically find in an apartment. It's just that a tenant's life is not spent using amenities. It's the other stuff that really matters.

The village at commonwealth is an amazing apartment complex that has every amenity I may need! The staff is professional, friendly, and any questions or difficulties a renter may have, they handle it efficiently!

Good help from the staff to get everything done so I could move in and nice staff as well. Apartment was clean when moving in. Everything outside of the apartment is good. All the staff is nice. Thank you very much for the help.

The community is great but the quality has gone way downhill since we moved in. The concierge is supposed to be 24 hours; it rarely stays open past 10 pm anymore. Parking is a huge issue - our lot fills up with non-residents and is not patrolled so we end up not being able to park where we pay to do so. Package processing is slower than it used to be and the amenities are impossible to enjoy because they are so over crowded (gym and pool). The common working space is full of randos trying to run their own businesses out of there and it makes it difficult for those of us who WFH to actually work. The coffee bar was closed for months and the construction was a huge inconvenience to us. The value has decreased significantly since we moved in two years ago and it's not worth the outrageous price we pay in rent

My wife and I moved here without ever touring the community and we are so happy with our choice in a new home. There are tons of community events and engagement with very attentive staff and maintenance team. The wine nights and other resident activities have given us opportunities to meet new people and that has been huge for us because we moved to Charlotte from out of state with no friends in the area.

Apartment and staff are both great - would recommend living here. The maintenance was speedy and efficient and the leasing staff are super helpful with anything I need. Everything has been great thus far.

My overall experience has been great. I transferred within the community, and the office staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The community feels welcoming, and I appreciate how smooth the transfer process was. I'd recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable place to live.

A good experience for the most part and a good sense of community. Most everyone is very friendly and you are close to a lot of restaurants, shops, and convenient stores. These are all in walkable distance as well which I consider a big perk.

I love The Village at Commonwealth. I've been here for 4 years and don't see myself moving anytime soon. The staff is helpful, the amenities are great and the neighborhood is walkable and lively. I love how many events get planned monthly and the effort that is put into making living here so comfortable.

Terrible experience. From pest issues, valet trash pickup issues, loud neighbors, parking, to unresponsive staff, you truly have the combination for unpleasant experience here. As much as I wanted to stay because of the convenience of the location, they really don't value their residents because people will keep moving in. I'm nothing but another number. They'll fill the unit and someone will have the same exact issues.

The community is disappointing. The hallway carpets are gross with stains all over the place. The elevator has had an alarm signal for a month and now is not operational. The overall conditions of the building don't seem to be a concern for the property management or owners. I made a mistake moving to this community.

I have loved living in the Village since I moved down to Charlotte. There is truly no other community like it. The amenities and social activities, really make you feel like you live in a diverse community, filled with residents of all ages and life stages - dogs included!

The apartment is great. Too bad they raised the rent $300/month when we had to renew so now we are moving. So ultimately I would not move here, unless you want to spend a mortgage payment on rent. The amenities are nice though

Complex has some good amenities, but the value of rent compared to the service, especially when it comes to maintenance requests, is almost not worth it. I have had notes left on my door that my place was serviced, when i have been in there the whole time & no one actually came in.

Always look for 41/2 to 5 stars for Maintenance is the key . It's helps living in your place more enjoyable and stress free . Amenities is my 2nd favorite to look for in a place I choose to live in . I wish the cost of renting is more affordable.

Great experience at VCW, referred all my neighbors from my previous complex and will be bringing many more over. I appreciate Marvin for helping through this process. And when he wasn't there Reece always had the answers I needed. Appreciate you both!

I previously lived in bldg Q for nearly 10 years. I moved to a bigger apt with a walk in shower. Great location to grocery stores and other businesses. No one will be sorry to move here. I feel safe here.

No, I've already filled out an entire survey giving my opinion on my experience here and you're asking me to write it all out again? No. What a waste of my time. Especially given that an answer is required here. You want a minimum 200 character count? You got it. Here it is.

The neighborhood feels like an actual neighborhood. It is nice to be in an apartment but not feel like it is just one building on its own with a patch of grass around it. Everyone is very nice and the staff is extremely helpful.
