Lots of great amenities in a great location. Right in the heart of plaza midwood within walking distance to many great bars and restaurants. Friendly and attentive staff. Safe abnd pet friendly community.

Horrible place to rent

Absolutely horrible place to live. Middle of summer and went 10 days with 80+ degree temperatures inside our townhome before being offered a temporary apartment to live in. We received no rent credit for it. 3rd party HVAC company that came, talked to us about how the complex tries not to fix problems even though they give them what needs to be done. After this the maintenance team flooded our first floor for the second time because again instead of fixing the problem they just removed the handle off the nozzle and had a new member of the Maitenance team used it without knowing what it does. We’re now going on day 5 of having fans and dehumidifiers in the house making it impossible to sleep or my girlfriend to work from home and no contact from the leasing office. Please save your money and rent else where!

This complex is gorgeous! And the amenities that come with it can't be beat. That, plus the location is absolutely amazing. The community has a residential feel but it's right in Plaza Midwood so you really can't beat it. I'm excited to live here.

Helpful maintenance supervisors

Armando came in after hours to help out with a leak. He was very friendly. He got the problem resolved quickly and my dog liked him too! Armando made sure to let me know what next steps there are and how he would follow up.

Village at Commonwealth is a phenomenal place to live in Charlotte, NC. It's convenient to Uptown and it sits in a fun, eclectic neighborhood for young families and professionals. The amenities are truly second to none. I've been in Charlotte for 8 years, and it is the best community I've lived in by far.

The only thing I would say is the amenities downstairs (indoor hot tub) was broken for a while and even when fixed still has issues. Same with steam room. There is always issues with those two things so that is my biggest complaint that I can think of

This apartment complex is great. The amenities are amazing. There is an on-site barista that is open 5 days/week, 2 pools, 2 gyms (1 with free weights), 30+ grills. The veterans park is a great place. Theres also pickleball/tennis courts and a lot of outdoor recreation. So many restaurants and bars around the community. It's great for couples/families who want a more quiet place to live. All the staff are friendly. There is an indoor spa with hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

We just moved into this community, and so far everything has been fantastic. Latriece assisted us throughout the application process and was kind and very responsive, which made everything go smoothly, especially since we were moving to Charlotte from Massachusetts. The apartment was very clean when I first walked in, and a cleaning crew even came in to do a touch up which I thought was awesome. So fay everything has been great, and we're very happy we chose The Village at Commonwealth!

Love this apartment complex! I had some challenges with my movers, as they changed the date that I could get my items moved. Because of this change, I needed to move my lease date up a day 3 days before I was to move in. This caused an increase in rent price but I had no other option. I was quite frustrated but luckily my leasing agent changed it back to what was originally agreed upon. Glad I got to write this positive review. (p.s. the quantity and quality of amenities are great!)

Units are very nice but the rent is very over priced and the office staff aren't very helpful . The units are loud. Being on the 1st floor I very often hear and since I work nights am woken up by hearing my neighbors walk upstairs.

Poor communication from the management team. Something is always broken and they do not care to fix it in a timely manner. I have lived here for 8 months and the spa has been broken since the day I moved in. Took 2 months to get a working key upon move-in. The cost is not equivalent to the value of the complex. The community has a lot of potential due to its location, however, you will be more frustrated living here than living somewhere not within walking distance.

Oh you don't want my feedback and experience for this complex in this current state. Stop the construction on my building, fix the door that doesn't lock, turn off the loud beeping noise, and have my neighbor stop letting his child throw toys down 3 stories onto my balcony. Then you will want my review.

Everyone from the leasing office to the baristas have gone above and beyond to make me feel at home here. I moved from a different state and was nervous to move my whole life here, and living at the villages eased my fears completely.

Amazing tour!

I had a tour today with Latriece at Village at Commonwealth and she was amazing! The community was such a breath of fresh air and the units along with the community spaces were top notch! Latriece did such an amazing job explaining everything the complex had to offer. I am down to the last three apartments in my search and I will say The Village at Commonwealth is at the top of the list! Thank you Latriece!

Great Maintenance Team

The maintenance team is very responsive and they work quickly to fix any maintenance requests. JP in particular has been diligent in fixing a list of small requests I had after moving into a new unit. Seems someone lived in this unit for a while before I moved in and no naturally there were a few things that needed updating. JP was always kind and respectful and efficient. He took the time to order a few replacement items for my apartment and always checked in to make sure I was satisfied with the maintenance work.

Very good apartment so far! Community seems friendly and safe. Lots of parking. The social events seem popular and printed everywhere for visibility. The move in process was a little difficult and seemed unorganized.

I've only been living at the Village for a couple of weeks but so far all of the staff I have encountered have been very helpful and attentive. I love my apartment and the amenities (barista, sauna/steam room) and Armando with maintenance is very helpful.

Amazing experience with the help of an amazing staff

Thanks to an amazing staff they have helped guide me through the whole renting process without skipping a beat. Super informative with excellent communication back and forth. The Village at Commonwealth looks and feels like Home!
