Terrible. My apartment was not ready until 5 days after my scheduled move-in and the leasing staff did a terrible job of resolving the issue. Since moving in, I have not been able to meet with management to discuss resolution to the inconvenience.

I have been here 6 years in Bldg Q and I love my apt and the community In the last months a new tenant in Q304 has been asked to turn down her music and seems reluctant to follow guidelines regarding disturbance oh the peace I will keep concierge notified till the loud bass music stops coming thru my wall Concierge is so helpful as well as office staff!!!!

Best Find Ever in CLT
I'm so glad I decided to live here. I've lived all around in CLT and The Village at Commonwealth is literally unlike anything else. And I don't mean "it's great," I mean "literally they have things no other community does." They have a cross-training (the kind you only find ay private gyms). They have a private Cafe with on-site Baristas, with rotating seasonal menus (Mark and Elizabeth are AMAZING)! Plus they are walking distance to Plaza-Midwood, while being directly next to huge Veterans Park. Also, their events are amazing.

Ready to Leave
I love the amenities here but no amount of free coffee or pool time is worth living with bugs. I’ve lived here for 2.5 years & Im on the countdown until my lease is up. I had no issues my first year here, but the last year things changed & it just so happened to be around the time management changed. I’ve had an issue with roaches/palmetto bugs (they have been identified interchangeably & for this reason I don’t think management or the exterminator knows the difference). I have been told: “It’s North Carolina, everyone has roaches” & “it’s not a big deal” from the managers. I have spoken with the 3 managers at least 10 times over the past 3 months & have had the exterminator come out 6 times in the past 3 months. Each time, I ask the exterminator 2 things: 1. Is there something I’m doing that I need to do differently to prevent this issue? (They tell me no each time) 2. What is the next step since coming & spraying the same thing over & over doesn’t work? ( they nor the leasing office has any answers) I have spoken with the office employees multiple times & they have told me they would speak to the extermination company to figure out a next step & they don’t ever call back. I have to physically go in the office to try to get answers & then there still isn’t any resolution. The last time I went in they told me I had to make an appointment 4 days out to speak to a manager (after months of talking to them over & over about this same problem). A dip in the pool & a cappuccino is not worth this level of frustration & horrible customer service towards residents. This is a luxury complex but what kind of luxury living involves running around killing bugs for months in your apartment? I’ll be leaving soon, but felt anyone looking to move here needs to know the experience I’ve had.

I have been very happy here so far. The recent increase in rent was disappointing, but I do understand that the prices are higher everywhere. I think the community is a good value for what is provided.

Love the Village. This was to be a pit stop between purchasing another home, but fell in love and having a hard time even thinking about leaving! Very active community, great people, and beautifully maintained. The Village has ALL of the amenities!

Staff is friendly and neighborhood has everything we could hope for. We have already gotten coffee from the barista on site and are very happy with the neighborhood. Our unit was not clean when we moved in, but leasing agent had made note of it and says they will be sending a cleaning service.

Still Glad I Moved In
This place is still great. I'm glad I chose it. Every apartment community has issues, but it's all about how you're treated along the way, and whether everything else offered is worth it. It is MORE than worth it here. Amazing and consistent events, kind staff, and great amenities. Mark and Elizabeth the Baristas are so awesome, they have seasonal menus! Plus, an easy walk to Plaza-Midwood. Definitely check this place out of you haven't already.

Glad I Chose This Place
So glad I chose this place. Everything has been the real deal of service. Even when things go wrong, the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure they fix it to the best of their ability. Sosa has been incredible when it really counts. Also, Mark in the Barista bar is the BEST! Definitely check this place out

Great Place to Live!
Moving to The Village at Commonwealth has been a very good experience. What stands out is the experience with the Concierge service offered at the community. Moving in much of what I needed was delivered via Amazon, UPS and Amazon. The Concierge team has been consistently available, helpful, professional, friendly, prompt and informamtive throughout my interactions with the team. I am being specific about their consistency, because with my many years in management in the client service side of the business, it is rare in our service industry to find service delivery to be consistently at such a high level. Understanding that this high level of service and service delivery does not happen by itself. This is a direct reflection of hands on management, supporting the most important part of the delivery system, the people that actually deliver the services. I try to get the names of the guys that have helped me again and again, and might spell them wrong, but Anelleto, Aaron, Stanley and Evan (name tags would be helpful). But it's not just the Concierge team. I need to recognize the Maintenance/Leasing staff. Again, the interaction with each and every person on staff in the community has been a positive one. Well Done!

I love living at Village of Commonwealth! The community is wonderful and the events they plan are great! The apartment is also extremely nice and in an unbeatable location. The maintenance staff is always prompt to respond to any issues we have had. Highly recommend!

Disappointed at the quality of the unit at move-in. Cat hair everywhere. Strong smell coming from the master closet, potentially cat urine. Leasing staff and maintenance have been helpful while addressing these issues, but I'm skeptical that they may think I'm just complaining to complain. The rest of the apartment complex and the amenities are very nice.

Amazing Community!
Love, love, LOVE living here. Its been one year already and I am so excited to live here for at least another year. Such friendly neighbors, cool and frequent events, and AMAZING amenities. My husband and I call The Village of Commonwealth “Sandals Charlotte” because this place is like an actual resort! I have to give a shout out to the guys at Concierge specifically, because they are always willing to help bring out heavy packages to my car with a friendly smile. Thanks for going above and beyond: Aaron, Anhelo, Evan & Stanley!! Y’all rock! Highly recommend living here. 10/10. 5 stars.

Tiyane was so very helpful
I just wanted to describe the great experience we had in touring The Village at Commonwealth. My daughter and I set up a tour of The Village at Commonwealth and were fortunate enough to have Tiyane show us around the complex, as well as answer any and all questions that we had about the area, complex, and the city. The amenities here are BONKERS. Well worth the rent (to me) but especially if you use BOTH gyms, BOTH pools, BOTH game rooms, valet trash, complimentary coffee, sauna, steam room, hot tub?the list goes on. This place is also SO walkable to the businesses at Plaza Midwood. Safe, clean, fun, and like I said BONKERS amenities. We are spoiled living here!!!

Food delivery friends!
I got lost while delivering with GrubHub. I wasn't sure what to do but this community has a concierge desk. Aaron at the concierge desk helped me get my order delivered quickly and back to work as quickly as possible.

Still an amazing place, excited to renew! Mark the Barista continues to crush it at the Cafe, and Anllelo at the Concierge is an amazing new addition! Some other reviews seem confused that they don't live in a 5,000 sq ft single-family house with an acre of land! This is the best way to live apartment living you'll ever find.

It has been a mixed bag. It didn't start off great, but everything I had issue with has been addressed. I like that the community is very social and is always planning ways for the neighbors to meet and come together.

Great experience! The move in was a little wonky and it seemed like the staff wasn't ready for us to move in, some things weren't done and our keys weren't ready and then the fobs didn't work but since then there have been no issues (besides the sink that was fixed within 24 hours). We love it here and would recommend!
