I wish they would bulldoze it. Get the bad people out of here. This place is the ------ of RTP. Bad management, horrible parking, moldy apartments no matter how much you clean. Office staff has no clue how to manage or run a business.

It's good community, everything is near buy but you should have vehicle with you. They should have grocery store in community too which will be more helpful good greenery. Parking is also fine. Staff helpful

The staff has been wonderful all around and accommodating. We really appreciate the personal touch in communication. They truly care about your safety, stay and well being. They take time to listen and effectively work toward problem solving. All are very knowledgeable regarding process and policy.

Worst apartment I have ever lived in. Folks in the rental office are lazy. They do not pick up phone calls or return emails. I just submitted a rental application with another apartment and they needed rental verification. Sure enough, these lazy people in the office NEVER returned any calls or picked up the phone to verify my rental history there... Do not live here!

I really enjoy living here!!! The neighborhood is quiet and the location is perfect. There are many options for schools, shopping, and entertainment. The community is kept clean and the grounds upkeep is decent.

Great community, management has changed since we moved it. Staff in main office can be friendly. Maintenance team does a pretty good job and following up on requests. Trash is not picked up in a timely manner, which isn't always a presentable look however trash is in one central location.

Colonial Grand has the potential to be a nice place to live. However, when I moved into my apartment I realized it was infested with roaches. It is horrifying to move into a new apartment and realize it has a pest problem. It is unhygienic and stressful.

Apartments are nice and spacious. Grounds are well cared for. I haven't had many maintenance issues but when I did, they were repaired in a timely and professional manner. I've enjoyed living in this community thus far.

The building is nice but the leasing agents are not helpful at all, especially with the moving in process. I have talked with 5 different people and it has still taken over a week to get maintenance issues resolved. This is on top of the fact that there were SEVERAL points of miscommunication back and forth while we were even applying for the apartment. Needless to say I have a bad taste in my mouth from day 1.

It started off great but with new neighbors and the new property manager things has went completely downhill. I've complained about roaches in my unit several times and the issue still exist. It's very unpleasant and dissatisfying. I've stayed in the same unit a whole year with no problem but as soon as my new neighbors moved in I began to see roaches . I've treated my unit myself with concerns that maintenance has failed to do so considering THEY ARE STILL THERE! I was informed that my neighbors unit would also be treated but have very low confidence in that being done.

We moved into a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment at CG at RTP at the end of March this year and so far I'm very, very pleased with this apartment complex. Our apartment is so spacious and the perfect layout for me and my roommate. I really love the high ceilings and the good-size balcony. Our unit is not one of the renovated units, so it comes with older, white appliances and the fixtures haven't been updated. This is not something I particularly care about, but if you're someone who really cares about these things, be sure to specify you want an upgraded unit because there is quite a difference between the two in terms of appliances, fixtures, and countertop finishes. The grounds are really well-kept and beautiful. The only issue I've noticed is people not picking up after their pets even though there are plenty of dog trashcans and bags throughout the complex. But the landscaping is absolutely beautiful with plenty of trees, which is something I really appreciate. The location is a short drive from both downtown Durham and Raleigh. I will say this is not a "walking distance" apartment. But if you have a car, you have the benefit of being very close to 147 and 40 which makes a bid difference and your commute and gives you easy access to pretty much everything in the Triangle. Finally, I think my favorite thing about this complex is the people. From the staff to the residents, it feels like a true neighborhood because everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The staff seems to really make a point of getting to know their residents and there are various events held through the month that add that extra touch of feeling like you're part of a community.

I moved to this community for location and style of apartment. I have always wanted to live at a Colonial Grand location. I am family with their style of apartments. I chose this location because they are the only apartments with town home apartments. I love my layout. My only issue is the trash dumb in the complex. It is not convenient and it makes the complex look unappealing.

I've only. Been a research for 2 weeks and I am pleased with the grounds keeping and the efficiency of the staff to adress concerns. The community has 2 police officers as residents which I believe should cut down on any crime happening. The fitness center is ot luxurious but has the main essentials to get into or keep in shape

Just moved in but my experience so far has been amazing. The staff has been more than helpful and able to answer all questions I've had. It's so quiet and peaceful. Parking is not the best but ive seen and dealt with worst so I don't mind it at all

The community is beautiful but the office management is terrible to work with. I ran into many problems with the office staff such as communication errors, rudeness, etc. I don't know how these people have been allowed to continue to work there when I know I am not the only resident that has faced the same issues with their staff.

It is a very nice community but sometimes management does not clearly explain the process when moving in. Case in point I was charged months after I moved in for an electricity use. I understand that I have to pay but the disconnect occurred when it was almost 6 months after the move in date that I got the charge for it.

Everyone is very nice until a crisis occurs, then they throw you under the bus for protecting their own interests. My circumstance was involving a degenerate son and neglect for an animal. Management paid to take care of my dog.

This community is great I love the area I am in and I love the view I have! Everyone in the office is friendly and very helpful! I would definitely recommend my friends to this area ! It's quite so I don't have any issues with noise! Also with good weather the pool area is great to go cookout at ! I LOVE IT .

My overall experience has been average, the old management clearly didn't know how to run this community which left the new management scrambling unprofessionally to pick up the pieces. Without getting specific the lack of attention when I moved in has made the end of my lease quite annoying . Also maintenance just comes and goes as they please with our without your consent
