I have terrible upstairs neighbors and that's my only problem or concern, they are very noisy and loud and keep me up every night. They have a dog that is very undisciplined and they themselves are hateful people all the time.

The maintenance guy John( that look like Vanilla Ice)is the coolest guy at Hidden Lake! The staff at Hidden Lake are the nicest people ever. My husband and I love the lake! We always seat by the lake and feed the geese. I have really enjoyed my time here.

This was my first apartment and I was referred to it by a friend and current resident. Immediately after talking to management at the leasing office, I knew I wanted to stay here. They were so friendly, helpful, and proactive. It made moving in super easy. No stress and no hassle. Great experience!

I am new to this community, but so far I really love it here. The staff is just wonderful,and already know me by my name. The buildings are kept so clean, and I like the front door trash service. Very quiet at night,I love the lighting outside each unit, and plenty of parking.

I LOVE these apartments! We just moved in a month ago or so. The management is super friendly and extremely helpful, and they all made a point to know me and my husband personally by name within the first day or two that they met us -- very impressive. They are always friendly and smile and say hi and ask us how we are every time we go in. The community looks very nice. Grounds are well kept and the lake is beautiful, with lily pads and ducks and everything. I haven't seen litter anywhere. And I love how the complex is set back in some trees, it almost feels like a resort. Our apartment looks very nice and is very spacious especially for the price ($699/mo for 2 bed, 2 bath, 1105 sq ft). $699/mo is even lower than the price they advertised online. We LOVE how much space there is in the kitchen (our kitchen is bigger than my mother-in-law's!). One important thing to note is that as of October 1, 2014, they changed the gate to where it is open all day until 6pm, only then is it closed for the night and you need to type in your code to get in (it used to be that the gate was closed all the time). The gate has never been broken or malfunctioning since I've been here. The dumpster is a little smelly at times, but it isn't bad as dumpsters go, and seriously -- what are you going to do to make a dumpster smell fresh and clean all the time? It's a dumpster. And I've never seen it overflowing or anything -- they take care of it, and there is a trash compactor attached to it. Maintenance is also super helpful and quick to respond! We've only had one maintenance problem since we moved in (slow drain) and within 12 hours of us informing management about it, the maintenance guy was at our door, chipper and cheery and clean-looking, ready to fix it. He fixed it perfectly within 10 minutes and I didn't even see a single butt crack. Score! My ONLY complaints about this apartment are: 1) the paint on the walls is the dry, chalky-feeling kind that makes me shudder when I touch it, but my husband doesn't seem to mind at all, so I think it's just me, and 2) the apartments are not numbered in a logical order so you kind of have to wander around for a while to find the apartment you are looking for (drives the pizza delivery guy crazy). But I still don't hesitate to give it 5 stars because no place is perfect, and those complaints are very trivial as compared to everywhere else I've been.

Very relaxed environment, quiet and safe. Great place for families. Alarms already included inside each apartment. Gym, pool, and play ground area for children. Nice lake where you can sit outside and relax! Gated community code needed to enter.

My experience at this community has been excellent, so far. The gorunds are well-kept, the maitenance staff are excellent and the front office staff are oustanding. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone needing a place to stay.

For the most part, the complex is nice. There are some issues with the garbage area, it smells horrible and needs to be cleaned. Landscaping is not taken care of well around the common areas, of course by the office it is nicer. People drive too fast here and you have to be careful

I have loved living in Hidden Lake Apartments. The staff is fantastic and very quick to respond to problems. I love the safety of the neighborhood and the friendliness of my neighbors. The resident activities and movie nights they put are a great way to get out the house without having to spend a lot. I have loved living here!

I really enjoy how quiet and peaceful the apartments are. It's easy access to everything but keeping the city out of the apartment is nice. I like knowing the security guards are here. I hope to continue my stay next year. I really like visiting the ducks and geese.

It's an amazing community I just believe that the apartments need updated. The fridge is too small, the carpet is no good, and the tile could use a facelift. I think they should extend the dog park an put lights in there as well for safety at night.

I absolutely love living in this apartment community. Everyone is so nice from the staff to the maintenance crew. The grounds are always kept up and the property manager is always updating us about things happening either in the community or throughout the apt community. The view of the lake is so peaceful. With the added security of a gate plus a security guard I always feel so safe. I will never move to another apartment complex as long as I live in North Carolina.

The apartments are a little dated and the layout is small. My experience has been average. Management staff are kind and courteous. I have accidently left my vehicle unlocked on two occasions. Both times someone had gone through it leaving the interior in disarray but nothing was taking. There was a young couple that lived downstairs that made considerable noise outside late at night and early in the morning hours. That problem was solved. They have moved out.

Great and Professional Staff - Always Completing Work to Standard the First Time! I would definitely recommend Hidden Lakes to all of my friends and co-workers. It is the perfect environment that has much to off kids of all ages - including this 51-year old kid!
