I love it. The staff in the office was helpful from the beginning and with whatever I need. My apartment is spacious, the rooms are a great size. So many things are within walking distance. Very friendly and safe environment. I have recommended many to this community.

    Colonial Grand at Huntersville provided me with an excellent move in experience. I was able to pick up my key when my movers arrived. The process and paperwork was mostly done online, which was quick and easy. The service they provided was excellent. It's a complex I definitely recommend moving into.

      Excellent community! Had no trouble moving in. Maintenance is done very quickly and efficiently. So far very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is maintained well. Only negative point is that the trash compactor is so far away. They should have multiple.

        When we were considering CG as our new home, Brandy went FAR above and beyond, even calling other CG communities for availability in areas which may have been more convenient. I am glad we chose Huntersville! SUPER maintenance crew! AWFUL parking!

          Office personnel make false promises and then refuse to accept any past verbal agreements. Already had at least 3 bad experiences related to this. Simply talking sweet does not solve issues. It has to be supplemented with solid work ethics towards bringing open issues to a satisfactory closure.

            just moved in, great so far. let's hope it continues! we moved in for the community, the surrounding area and the convenience to my fiances work. the only issues we had were the traffic issues going towards south charlotte, but there is always a price to pay!

              Please avoid renting here. Staff is just rude and money minded. First of all we were very unhappy the day we moved in because the model apartment what they showed was very misleading. The house we ended up with was a basement type, dark and creepy. if they had shown us this house previously, we would have never rented it. After the first lease term they drastically increased our rent amount and when questioned they showed the "take it or leave it " attitude because of which we had to vacate and lose a lot of money and energy. They wont care about their renters satisfaction as far as they are in demand and somebody is waiting to move in. I have never given any negative reviews online but I could not stop myself from writing this as I can atleast stop some innocent folks from renting here. Colonial Grand management should be more careful in choosing their staff. I am so much hurted by the name colonial Grand that I am for ever done with this community. I am not renting it anywhere.

                Love the location of this apartment - close to everything. Staff is great, very responsive. Community is quiet and residents are friendly. Lots of storage space in our updated unit. We like everything about living here so far! Would recommend to anyone.

                  Great community! Although, when at full capacity they need additional parking or need to enforce the two car policy. Staff is friendly and service requests are usually done within 1 day. The pool area is wonderful. There is also a fire pit, but the pool closes at dusk and the fire pit is in the pool area, so it closes at dusk, also. Doesn't give much time to use the fire pit.

                    The staff are quite nice, help me with many things when I am working on the computer. They need to keep a backup for the printer when cartridge runs dry. when I see any needs around grounds they take care quickly.

                      We have just recently moved into CG@ Huntersville and the staff was amazing! We moved from out of State so we basically had to do everything over the phone and without the help of the office staff (Brandy and Kaylee) it would not have been possible. We had only a few weeks to get everything done and they were right on top of it and here we are! :) The community has more than exceeded my expectations. We are very pleased!

                        I would NEVER ever recommend this place! The grounds are dark and creepy, the leasing staff is rude, and the pool and common areas are disgusting! I find it hard to believe all these positive reviews are legitimate -- who writes a nice review anonymously?? This place is such a dump even the employees move out because they won't live here. Every person that lived here when I first moved in has since moved out. But that's okay because they made room for all the trash with their housing vouchers to move right in.

                              It's been positive so far. The only thing that I wish would be better is the lighting around the complex. There are well lit areas and then there are really dark areas. I would also like to see more trash bins that are exclusively for trash and not for dog waste.

                                The community is always, very well kept,management is been good. Front desk women are very polite. Everything is close, we have 24 hrs pharmacy and supermarket which is convenient at any time. Everybody respect eachorher. And Management is quick to respond.

                                  Great experience, had issues getting my application processed, the staff helped me every step of the way to get my things in order and facilitated me getting the appartment.                                         Management and Maintenance staff is excellent and very prompt! I experienced an outage with my air conditioner unit late Sunday Afternoon. I placed a call to their after hours number, Maintenance arrived within 15 minutes, and resolved my issue.

                                            Not the best customer service received from property manager. Felt from the beginning when I signed my lease wile communicating via emails with property manager that they were being deceiving. I was supposed to receive an incentive for signing and the manager simply forgot.

                                                Just moved in so short comments. AlL I can say now is the staff has been very co operative till date. The move in was smooth and professiona. I find the environment peaceful and near to shopping complex. The school is highly rated. One suggestion : APT complex need to have more garbage collection centers.
