The community appears well kept and the staff is very friendly and attentive so far. It's too early to tell how it will be. Only bad experience I've had is the stampede of little feet living above me (kids will be kids), and the fact that I've had maintenance requests in for a week with no one stopping by yet. They say they're on it so hopefully it will all be taken care of soon. At first glance the apartments look clean but make sure you check everything. I didn't realize several things until I moved in- like stained toilet seat, tub faucet protruding from wall, broken glass in one of the kitchen light fixtures, one fan doesn't work, etc. like I said, hopefully maintenance will get on the ball and get it rolling soon.

Very nice apartment, relatively quiet for a ground level residence. Good location, close to food shopping and restaurants. Friendly and helpful office staff and maintenance crew. Nice pool and sitting area.

Very good quiet community in a great location. Maintenance is always quick to solve a problem and does not leave a mess! Everyone in the office is very kind and courteous as well, always willing to help.

I have not lived in an apartment since 1972 so I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and accommodations at Colonial Grand Huntersville. The staff was prompt in attending to my needs and I found the grounds and buildings well-maintained.

Curtis sold the property; extremely helpful throughout the entire process, his service was on another level compared to other apartments we toured. After moving in we've continued to receive excellent service from the Colonial Grand Team!

Moved to Colonial Grand at Huntersville in January 2018. I have a one bedroom apartment that is upgraded with black appliances, upgraded light fixtures , countertops and cabinets. Very nice and reasonable rent! However, my upstairs neighbor with a large dog leaves my experience here less than desirable. The constant rattle of light fixtures and hearing every move the neighbor makes has worn on every nerve I have. I am patiently counting down until my 14 month lease is up so I can leave and finally get some peace and quiet. It would have been nice if the leasing consultant would have informed me that someone with a large dog would be living above me Also, the residents here could do a better job of cleaning up behind their pets. The area outside my building consistently smells of dog urine and feces. When I viewed the apartment I now live in on a Thursday in December 2017, I was told that my 1st month of rent would be free- Great! When I called the next week on Monday to start the application process, that completely changed and the leasing representative told me that the special no longer applied-- what? After just viewing the apartment 72 hrs ago? After getting the manager involved, I was able to get the special. I then inquired about a 2 bedroom and was told that the special only applied to the apartment I looked at.... ok fine. Other than the hiccups before moving in and the upstairs neighbor from hell, Colonial Grand at Huntersville is an overall OK complex to live in.

Love my apartment. Close to everything, such as grocery stores , drug store, our bank , Goodwill store , post office, hospital. So close you could walk . A lot of eating places and bars . Beauty shop, Great Clips,and nail salon

Close proximity to everything , medical , grocery, restaurant , interstate, senior center, walking trails. Everything is neat and clean and well landscaped. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Neighbors are friendly.

Great staff and eager to please. Great location such as family restaurants and fast food. Has several grocery stores. The neighborhood caters to shops such as: Childrens clothing, Great Clips, Barber Shop, Bicycle Shop, and several medical centers. Dog friendly and the, grounds are well kept. Beautiful plants and flowers around the office. Residents friendly Would and have recommend The Colonial Grand at Huntersville to others.

Good clean,great pool,nice gym...clean environment. However parking is limited...no complaints..a little bit of dog pop here and there...some people dont care about cleaning there pets...they should have Camaras around the building..my mother who also lives her on the next building got her car hit...a hit and run. No cameras no one took responsibility. I have a new truck and I always worried about getting it need cameras

I work all the time so im not here much ?, I like the friendly staff..... I like the pool area.... I like having my garage ?.. hope everything stays the same as it has been ?.. the trsh compactor was a problem although I don't use it very much but the problem they hsd has been corrected......

I am very happy. the staff is outstanding, efficient, helpful and kind. My neighbors are great, I love my apt. It's quiet. The pool is very nice. The grounds could use a little sprucing up. Also, could we have a community facebook page?

The staff members are incredibly helpful! So far it's been an amazing experience! Close to grocery stores. Plenty of restaurants and bars, and across the street from the hospital. Good community and really 8nconvenient location

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! This complex runs like a jail house. There is no privacy, they charge ridiculous fees for every little thing (very money hungry) , the staff are not friendly, and the landscape is horrible. If you are trying to move to this area I suggest Silver Collection or Bexley Commons. Again, do not let them fool you. DONT MOVE HERE!

Make sure you ask lots of questions. Be as explicit as possible. Don't leave anything to chance. They will still try to twist circumstances to favor them or right out lie. The jury's still out on that point.

The complex is beautiful with mature trees and walking paths nearby. There are 2 shopping centers in walking distance that include grocery stores, restaurants, a bike shop, nail salon, and other businesses. The team is also incredibly friendly and helpful!

I have enjoyed the community very much. It is a Very safe and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend the community to a friend. I love the location as well. Close to all the amenities I was looking for.

Our overall experience is ok. There are some things around the community that need improving. Broken shower by pool, ladder and rails leading into pool, broken fire pit outside and broken fireplace in clubhouse. Nowhere for children to play. Turnover in office seems high.

I love it!!! Very clean and convenient to all main highways and shopping. Best staff and they're courteous and accommodating. Access to major roadways and highways are easy and nearby, plus great great schools and beautiful areas for family exercise and recreation.

My first day move in was amazing. Got to meet my next door neighbor and was helped moving into my new home. This is gonna be home for the next few years. This is the best move for a new family. You guys will not be unhappy here.

Best community I have ever lived in! Safe area office staff is like family. Maintenance is fantastic! The apts are spacious and I never hear my neighbors! Just renewed for 14 more months! I wish I could live here forever.
