Haven't been here long but hVe had a good experience so far. The apartments are nice the yards are nice other than the duck and dog ---- that's left on the side walk and grass. The people seem very friendly so far and everything works and the office staff is great as long as you go in because getting them on the phone can be pretty hard.

    I am satisfied with my move in process. I work in Orange County so I had to visit the office on the weekend to complete the move in process. The staff was informative and listened to my needs. I would recommend this property to those that are seeking a place to live.

      I have just moved to the community and I love it so far. It is quiet and everyone seems nice. The office staff is very courteous and helpful and they ensured my move-in process was smooth. I feel the environment is safe and clean. Love it here!!!

        This apartment would be ok if there weren't so many insects. I have killed every type of insect known to man daily in my apartment ever since ive lived here. That has made my experience horrible. My apartment has been sprayed several times but that doesnt seem to help. Also these apartments are old...they have no microwave and shower rod is being held up by duct tape(thats how the apartment came) I can't wait to get out of here. For $1,000 a month its really not worth living here.....especially when there are nicer apartments in Raleigh.

          I love living at Colonial Grand at Crabtree. The apartments are spacious, the staff is friendly, and its a nice quiet community. I have been living here since 2013 and this is probably the best apartment community that I have been at. Apartments are also affordable.

            Most issues have been resolved in a timely manner. The rent increases each year, but the increase is reasonable with the specials that are offered for renewal compared to other apartments. The current staff and maintenace are courteous and personable.

              Best run apartment community I have lived in. Both management and service friendly and efficient. There is a good deal of turnover, which is to be expected, so your neighbors will vary. But overall they've been ok.

                Colonial at Crabtree is in a great area that is located just 5 minutes from the mall, provides good rates considering the expensive apartments being build and is a quiet and safe complex. I had no problem renewing my lease again when the time came up.

                  My experience has been extremely pleasurable. The office staff are amazing. The maintenance staff are awesome. I just moved in but I have nothing but praises to give to give to Colonial Grand at Crabtree staff. The apartment homes are so spacious and comfortable.

                    I have lived in the Crabtree community for 5 years. This is a friendly environment clean poperty, spacious apartment, close to shops,restaurants, Crabtree mall. 10 minutes drive from RDU AND RTP. Love it.

                    My experience with this community has been wonderful. Have you ever wished that you had found out about something before you did? Well that is how I feel. You basically have access to numerous places including RDU Airport which is less than 25 minutes away depending on traffic.

                        I was very pleased with the staff and kindness. The community is very beautiful and a lot is around you. I was pleased with the condition of the apartment since it is about 17 years old. Very nice home for a young couple and even a family. I would recommend it!!

                          The first year was ok. As time went by the office staff became more and more rude and unfriendly. The property was not well kept, stairwells never cleaned and fitness rooms almost always messy and smelled. We requested cleaning areas numerous times, but rarely happened.

                            Wow the place must be in trouble, suddenly a huge number of good reviews in one month...a dead giveaway. I have lived here almost a year and can't wait to leave...my apartment was dirty and dated when I moved in, is infested with nasty bugs, the manager is totally rude... What else can I say? I will say I have nice neighbors though. Wish I could take them with me... But most are moving out soon anyway. Yuk!

                              Not good. Really wish I could be more positive. You have a couple of employees that go over and above. The other don't care don't do what they say. I have discussed this before and nothing changes. We all make mistakes and have bad days. When I have been short I always think about the situtation and go back and apologize. When I am told something is done a certain way I abide and it is unreal when you walk around the complex and all other just do as they please and nothing is ever done about it. I see and talk to a lot of neighbors and they have vented the same problems that I have experienced to the staff and it is still the same. We have to live here. They hold our home security in their hands so we are very limited at what we say to them.

                                This community continues to be a very enjoyable and friendly place to call home sweet home. The location is excellent. The office and maintenance people are top rate. Our neighbors are friendly and considerate to us. Overall conditions are great.

                                  Nice apartments, not renovated but very well maintained. Maintenance staff if amazing and very timely. They leave notes clarifying was was done and anything you may want to know. Community staff is fair-weather. Experiences with them vary- sometimes they are friendly and seem to care about why you are there and other times they seem to not want to be bothered by whatever brought you in. Calling is difficult to reach someone even though they always seem to be in the office.

                                    Community is kept clean, quiet and up to date even though it is older than some of the newer properties, it still has a young feel. The maintenance staff is very responsive and professional. This is a very nice place to live and I recommend it highly.

                                        I have had a pretty positive experience at CG Crabtree. The staff have been responsive to my requests for maintenance as well as any concerns I have about the property. Most of my neighbors have been pleasant and the location is great for people who travel and spend time in all areas of the Triangle.

                                          I have lived at Colonial Grand for almost a year now. The reviews about the goose poo are accurate. Look at the bright side, at least it doesn't smell! They are older apartments so you're not getting the luxury kitchen and bath, but the property manager has been doing a great job updating parts of the property as necessary. Office staff and Maintenance staff are great and helpful when needed. For the price and location, I would definitely recommend checking them out.

                                            My family moved in here in May and we've loved it. The grounds are nice (although there is a lot of goose poop, but that's to be expected when you live a stone's throw away from a lake), there is constant work being done on the property which I feel to be a good thing because it means that they care and are trying to keep the property fresh and modern. Any problems we've had have been taken care of straight away and the office staff have been nothing but generous and sweet to us. Of course it's not a perfect paradise, but I think they're doing a great job. They do seem to keep most of the apartments occupied so they must be doing something right!

                                              This place is going to the geese and the new paint job looks more ugly than before. Neighbor's up stairs making to much noise and don't know how to walk on floors and next door neighbors slamming doors and having to tell them over and over again. The neighbors play they sound system to loud you have to tell them constantly please turn down. The current manager doesn't care, don't rent washer and dryer with unit you will be stuck with them all during your lease and can't get rid of them. I find this stupid. I don't want them don't want to pay the rent for them. The gates always having issues they stay open are people call you from the box to let you in, like lets just call anyone. The geese crap seems to go no where all over the side walk watch where you walk. Windows still need replacing draffy. Don't trust office stay they are here to sale and keep their numbers up. Look else where.

                                              HORRIBLE leasing manager and service. They never answer the phone when you call even when they are sitting there doing nothing. You basically have to call 10 times till they are annoyed and finally answer the phone. Rude and ------ manager. Old management was friendly helpful and kind. Wish i never resigned. Geese are taking over. Crap every square inch outside. They run after you like they are going to attack you. No problem with Ducks at all, not many ducks, they are sweet. Apartments themselves are big but carpet is always old they do not replace it even when they are suppose to. Maintenance does not replace air filters ever. They do not ever give written notice before they come in for no reason. Don't receive anything about notices of pool opening or closing or any notices of any kind. Management is seriously unorganized.They never have any special events going on , which is not a big deal, but its nice if they could try a little to make this place worth living at.
