Mixed review. PROS: Apartment layout and location are pretty nice. CONS:Exiting the apartment community is quite dangerous due to limited view and speeding traffic on Millbrook. There have been multiple car break ins a few time since moving in two years ago. The day after I moved in there were 8 cars right outside my building with broken windows. The "dog park" is unusable; my dog tip-toes around all the feces and doesnt enjoy staying long. People camp outside the gate to rush in through the exit only gate or wait to follow someone in. The fitness center doesnt provided water and has very limited selection of equipment. The walls are very thin, can hear neighbors talking. The pool is surrounded by bushes and infested with mosquitoes during the summer. You are not "allowed" to move the pool chairs. Maintenance is very inexperienced. You are forced to pay the community $50 for very basic cable. They charge $8/month for pest control and have never sprayed my apartment. Property manager is bad. Would recommend looking elsewhere.

The staff has been extremely helpful and very kind. Moving here from Out of state and on a time crunch I was worried about just finding a place and not the right place. The moment I walked in the door, I knew I had not only the right place, but home.

The initial experience truly made my decision. The same courtesy is given everyday and mrs. Tiffany is very knowledgeable and professional. Any issues that I have had has been taken care of always in a timely manner and the home atmosphere has allowed me to continue to stay. Thank u for all u do!!

This is a perfect location! Right near shopping, dining, and nature trails. The rent is fair and my apartment was impeccably clean when I moved in. I also like that there are no dog breed restrictions, as most are completely ridiculous anyway!

For the most part this community has been great. The overall appearance & price are decent, especially the area that it's located in. As for the inside of the apartment... mainly the kitchen, I would love more space. The cabinet space is not enough. Also, the tub in the master bedroom is tilted which causes mildew buildup more often than desired. Other then that, this has been a wonderful place to live. A few tiny spiders & silverfish here & there but no major issues. Front office, Janet, is amazing & maintenance is super efficient!

It's been ok so far, I have not had any problems with our neighbors. They seem to be nice. We are going to see how this year will go. I think it all depends on this year. I wish they extended the swimming pool longer and bring some new equipment to their gym.

The staff is extremely nice and professional. Maintenance crew is great as well. The apartments are very outdated for the price. Windows are single pain and mold grows from moisture. Other tenants are loud and liter the grounds. Most likely will not renew for a 3rd year.

The application process was easy and the leasing agent, Angelica, was super helpful. The property is well maintained and I have always been greeted with a smile anytime I walk into the office or see a staff member on site. The community is very quiet and peaceful. I am reallyhappy with my decision to move here.

This is a great community with excellent staff. The neighbors are nice. The maintenance staff are courteous and prompt to respond. I think there needs to be more for such a large complex. Also, I wish there was a basketball court on the premise instead of a tennis. This property is more friendly for people who have pets/dogs instead of kids.

I just got here so I can't really give a tre, detailed answer about my experience here. What I can say is that as a whole this apartment complex is very nice looking, the apartment is very reasonably priced for its size, the noise level is quite low, and that the staff has been very friendly.

First unit had many issues that were only made worse by maintenance. After several incidences this apartment was provided. Except for a minor issue it is problem free. The leasing staff made the transition very smooth and painless which was much appreciated. I very much like my new unit. I'm very happy.

During my four years of residence I have found Colonial Grand Crabtree Apartments to be a well maintained complex with attentive staff. Service issues have always been addressed promptly and properly. I found this to be a safe, comfortable and quiet environment.

Love that's it's so quiet. You can't hear every move upstairs. Good neighbors. Always parking. Clean outside. Maintenance is quick. No big issues with anything other than some minimal damage to apt by upstairs and water heater breaking.

Its been really nice so far. My girlfriend and i love the fact that its gated and also it is very close to our jobs and also shops and other things of that sorts are close. Also its is very quiet and peaceful with the lake being close too. The only suggestion would be to update some of the old appliances

The Apartment complex is close to shopping areas which makes it convenient. The staff are great and the neighbors are great. There are also great amenities, the exercise rooms and car washing are especially great features. It's also close to great schools for those that have school age children. Overall it's a great place to live.

I would like for future residents to be able to see the actual apartment that they will move into. I would also like see more of the waste products of the Geese to be removed. I have no other comments or concerns. I am very happy with the community I live in.

This place sucks everything about it from the duck cap everywhere to the staff. The office never picks up the phone along with them charging extra for pest control but there are spiders and wasp everywhere from the patio, walk way, and mailbox. Maintenance never comes when they say there are nor does what they say they are going to do for example my closet door came off over three months ago and they said they were going to fix it and I still don't have a door and someone was supposed to come spray my patio for the spiders and I still have mad spiders everywhere. I also have over a week left in my lease and they cut my cable off which they charged me for in my rent. These are just a few reasons why I am not renewing my lease and would not recommend anyone to leave here. The charge way to much and the only thing half way nice is the pool. IF YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU PAY FOR THEN DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

I moved here from the Point At Crabtree only because they didn't have a three bedroom. This was a mistake, it all began with not giving me the apartment that I was told I was getting. Information that should have been disclosed was not. Its always told to me if it can be fixed there's no need for a new one but when rent is this high and the thing you are fixing need to be fixed multiple times why not just replace it? You raise the rent every year to beautify the outside but the insides look terrible.I could go on but I'm not.

It was very easy to apply and staff was very helpful. The location is great, with lots of shopping and places to eat near by. I am 10 minutes from everything. The area is very quiet and being in a gated community the helps ensure peace of mind. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE DON'T RENT FROM HERE MAINTENANCE SUCKS THEY HIRE ANYONE AND CAN'T KEEP GOOD HELP. ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP IT STARTS AT THE TOP. NO UPGRADES BUT CONSISTENTLY RAISING PRICES AND THE GATE NEVER WORKS SO DON'T COUNT ON THAT FOR YOUR SECURITY LIGHTING IS TERRIBLE AND THE POOL IS CLOSED HALF THE SUMMER.

Good community. I have no real complaints. The property always looks awesome and the staff are very friendly. The only draw back are the people that live above me, but we can't chose our neighbors, right? Other than that I am satisfied living here.

Sean always completes his tasks at hand in a timely fashion. I have been very pleased with his work. He also cleans up afterwards it's hard to tell he has even entered the apartment because he leaves no evidence behind. He also leaves a note behind explaining what he did to fix the problem. Great team leader!
