Colonial Grand at Crabtree is a wonderful place to live. I have lived there almost 2 years now and am extremely satisfied with the community. Both the maintenance and office workers are always pleasant and efficient, taking care of the tenants that live here and are always helpful with any questions or concerns with a smile

Its been 2 months and so far its good experience living here.Its a typical apartment community with seasonal pricing and of course provides all required amenities (Gym, Pool, Food Truck evenings) and lot more. Neighborhood is great and all the shops are at short distance of one - two miles.

Overall my stay at this community was fine. I was fond of the office staff. Unfortunately the maintenance staff (one in particular) fell below expectations numerous times. The price was okay for the area. You are paying for a gate however its either broken or people ignore it and go in behind someone.

I have lived here for 5 months now and I love it! The location is ideal, the office staff is great, and the grounds are well kept! My apartment is well laid out and a great value for the area. They do a lot of fun events like the food trucks and a spaghetti dinner!

If you are looking to move here, save yourself the trouble and DONT. Unfortunately I still have 10 months on my lease. The office staff is awfull. Especially who I believe is the propert manager, Tiffany. Incredibly rude and very condescending, she loves to talk down to you. I've had issues since day one. I've had issues with a broken door and my fridge shelf system collapsed and still nobody has fixed it. Issues with my AC and my water pressure. Again, multiple requests and nothing has been done. After me and my dog have spent the last month a half sick, I finally discovered why.. mold. I asked them to tear down the walls and find the source of it, instead they repainted over it instead claiming it was a "stain". Good thing I have pictures of the mold on my walls.. I guess I'll have to go above their heads. Office staff is not helpful AT ALL. It's pretty mieserable at CG Crabtree

As of today (9/20/17) at least 7 cars have been broken into since March 2017. There has also been a weapons offense. Before moving here, I would encourage you to check the crime stats with the police department. Some of the time, the office will notify the community about break-ins. To the best of my knowledge, I have been notified 3 times since November 2016. The gate is barely a feature of the community. At least 30% of the time, it is broken and left wide open. When it does work, people will camp out by the office and tailgate residents who open the gate. Quite often, people will use the gate for outgoing traffic to enter the community. I guess that explains how the car thieves can get in. At certain times, parking can be quite a challenge. When I initially looked at the apartment, I liked the layout. However, I have found that storage is nonexistent. As an individual who likes to cook, it is hard to find a place for kitchen appliances such as stand mixers. One pet peeve of mine is that the shelves in the cabinet are not spaced far enough apart. You have to lay a wine glass down on its side to put it up. Another gripe is the bedroom window. Let's just say that your bedroom feels like an oven in the summer and a freezer during the winter. Multiple electrical outlets throughout the apartment do not work. My apartment was remodeled before I moved in, and the maintenance crew or office did not do a good job at inspecting it. When I first moved in, things like doors not shutting correctly were common. Also, the water was not turned all the way on. All in all, I would not recommend this apartment community. Initially, it looks pleasant enough, but it gets very, very old after a while.

Over all great experience thus far. I don't have any issues and if there is any the office workers and the maintenance men are right on it. There friendly people out here in the community and I feel very safe

Move in process was smooth. Janet Kinney did a great job coordinating everything. My only concern is with maintenance requests. They take longer then I expect and no notice is left behind if your apartment is serviced.

Janet and Tiffany made my move in experience easy and comfortable. All information was explained in detail. After I moved in management followed with me to make sure that everything was satisfying. Maintanence has always been prompt with service as needed.

The Staff has always been very attentive to requests and highly professional. Neighbors are friendly. Weekly Food truck is a hit. When the pipes froze/burst a year ago, the staff was quick to ensure I had other living accommodations until I could move to another apartment

Everything within the community has been very pleasant. The staff is very attentive to issues with the apartments and they are solved very quickly and efficiently. The staff always looks for ways to improve the area. Loving spaces are very quiet and parking is plentiful. Even responses to snowstorms are well above expected. The staff worked tirelessly to prepare the community, was able to plow the area with no damage to vehicles, and shovels the sidewalks.

Has been well so far. The area is nice with few problems. Main issue I have had is with appliances breaking down for one reason or another. For examples A.C., drier, and sink. But they try to respond as promptly as time allows which makes the issues manageable. Besides that the community is a good place to stay

Nice apartment that faces a pond. The kitchen in the apartment is outdated and would benefit from updating. The apartment community is nice and the neighbors are quiet and considerate. The office staff is helpful and responsive as is the maintenance staff.

Great community, friendly neighbors. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Whenever I have had a problem they have been right there to help resolve the issues. Love how they have things set up for the food truck to come in on Wednesdays for the community

I have really enjoyed living at this community for the past year that I have been here, and If all goes as plan I will renew my lease for the 2017-2018 year. the community is kept very nice, I hardly ever hear my neighbor's, and the staff are always so helpful and pleasant.

I am very satisfied with this community. I find the staff very pleasant and accommodating. I am very satisfied with the location, too. It seems to be centrally located amid many businesses. It is my first gated community. I really like the security it provides.
