Overall we have enjoyed living here. Unhappy with the number of additional "fees" added on to the rent...pull you in with the "low" rent and then tack on a bunch of other fees (trash, pest control, cable...). Adds up. Overall the community is well maintained and feels safe quiet.

The office staff is wonderful and the grounds are well-maintained. The service folks are easy to get in touch with and responsive to any and all requests. Love my 2 bedroom + study layout -- the perfect roommate apartment! I've lived here for 3 years and love it.

Nice apartment complex, always neat, close to PNC Arena, Hunt Horse Complex, and state fairgrounds. Easy access to interstate 40. Within minutes of NCSU and Meredith College. Staff is very pleasant and maintenance is prompt. Good experience overall.

I really enjoy trinity commons. It's particularly nice because of the location -- I'm a vet student, so being able to go right up the road is great. I also love that it's so dog friendly. I really love the office staff, and the maintenance has always been prompt. The sound volume between apartments is ridiculous, and I can hear every move my upstairs neighbor makes, including his trips to the bathroom, his phone vibration in his alarm, and his video game streak.

Nice first apartment for a single person, for sure. No cars have been towed, even without visitors pass, even though I would recommend one. I do not like the fact that my neighbors above are loud, but that is their problem, not the apartments. Would recommend in the fugure.

We love it here. We spent 10 years in another apartment here. We moved to be "without steps" because one of us is unable to walk steps. We have always found the staff and the maintenance men to be friendly, polite, and gentle in their approach to all.

I've had a pleasant experience the year and a half I've lived here. The staff is courteous and unobtrusive, maintenance requests are answered promptly and professionally, and the tenant populace is generally pleasant. Noise comes through front doors but I've had no issues which have affected sleeping.

My work requests have been ignored multiple times. Rent increases over 10% each year it's due to be renewed. Management is very cold (other than one exceptional leasing agent: Joy). Walls are real thin, I would hear people have sex constantly. Dog droppings are left all over the community. Pool and location are great. Apartments themselves are nice. If I could just live here in the Summer and Fall (for the pool and access to the football stadium) then I would recommend it. Otherwise, it's too expensive and the staff don't treat you like this is your home. They make it clear you're just here on their turf temporarily and that they essentially own you. You're nothing more than a $ to them (hence the 10%+ hike to current residents as opposed to the much cheaper offer to new residents).

I had a great experience the first time I moved in 2011. Then we had to move because of the unavailability of a 3 bedroom at the time. Was very excited to see that there were deals for this place when we originally moved in. The staff is usually very nice and efficient.

This is a nice community and my apartment was very clean upon move in. It has a great location for my drive to work. Seems to be a very quiet community minus the occasional train. This community has multiple shopping area in all directions within 10 minutes. Be Careful on game days with PNC arena and Carter Finley being so close.

I have been a resident at Colonial Grand apartments for 6 years this July. It has been a great time. We have enjoyed the friendly staff, efficient maintenance workers, fun pool time, workouts in the gym, using the gas grill to cook and much more. Only reason for moving out now is because we are finally moving into a house. We will miss the closeness to so much Raleigh has to offer and the pool!!

Maintenance figured out and fixed the problem with my water heater quickly and professionally. I couldn't be happier. I haven't had any problems since. Joy at the front office was quick to respond to my request and had maintenance at my door as soon as I needed them. Thanks guys.

Property managers were slow in addressing multiple appliance issues (3 weeks for broken dish washer) and pest/rodent infestations. The online work order request and bill-pay system was frequently offline. I decided to move out after I found a snake on my bathroom floor one morning. Management was vague in their moving instructions which led to an additional carpet cleaning fee because I didn?t hire a company they approved. Trinity Commons is by far the worst apartment complex I?ve ever experienced, I wouldn?t recommend it to my friends.

I have not had any major issues since moving in October 2014. Any small issues that I have run across have been taken care of within a day of submitting a request. All the maintenance men have awesome personalities and are extremely friendly.

Don't ever lose a parking sticker. They will tow your car away at 125 a pop and try to charge 50$ for a stupid replacement sticker that probably cost them 50 cents. Horrible customer service and took forever to fix electrical problems in the apartment. Windows are very drafty. Took 3 weeks to get dryer fixed. Watch out for all the added fees to monthly bill!! Waiting for end of lease to move on.

The staff was not very helpful and seems uncaring about residents. The maintenance was slow to fix problems, and often did a poor job. The staff was hard to reach and when I was able to reach them, did not often help find a solution to my problems. The staff was often rude and seemed bothered to help residents.

Staff was extremely unfriendly and unresponsive. Rooms aren't bad but definitely not worth the price. You can easily find other places with just as good of a location for significantly cheaper prices, not to mention a friendly and accommodating staff. Look somewhere else.

I'm from Brazil and I moved to Colonial last week. I found the apartment very good and staff are very friendly. There isn't problems with noise and the appearance and condition of community common areas are very good. The academy is very good. I'm very satisfied.

I have nothing but glowing things to say about this community. From the office staff to the maintenance people the are al friendly and professional. I have never had a work request go for more than just a few hours before someone was here to correct the problem.
