The Village is a nice property conveniently located close to I540 and with a lot of dining options. The apartments are very modern and newly updated. We have lived here for 9 months and would not be moving except we bought a house! The maintenance staff is very thorough and the office staff is outgoing and will try to assist you as much as they can to meet your needs!

I have lived in multiple apartment complexes ranging from newly built to older communities. The village apartments is by far the best I have lived in. The staff is friendly and helpful and the apartments are beautiful. You cant beat the location! I love my two bedroom floor plan and how close I am to all the amenities. The dog park is always clean and well kept making it a favorite among residents. If you are looking for a clean, beautiful, affordable, and overall great apartment in North Raleigh. Look no further than the village!!!!!!

I have lived at The Village for about 7 years and don't plan to move anytime soon. I have loved both my apartments here, the people are friendly and the location is great. The staff are helpful and polite. I moved to a newer unit and I really love it. My apartment is big and comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish the dog park was a little bigger and had some features for my dog to play with. It really isn't the end of the world, but it would be a great addition. An update on the gym would be cool too, but it has the basics.

My husband and I moved here while we were building our home. The location was perfect to walk to shops and entertainment. We have enjoyed our time here and havent had any trouble. The rudinos rooftop bar across the street has live music most nights. Perfect spot for anyone.

The complex is overall great. It is a bit noisy at times and the parking is kind of bad. However the apartments are really nice. The floors and walls are beautiful. Also the kitchen is updated which is nice!

I've had good luck here. Apt set us is ideal and neighbors are quiet, good insulation in the walls perhaps. Location works for me. Close to shopping, main roads, good restaurants. City living with country view.

I’m about to move out of The Village! I pay $1400 a month in rent. At any moment you may step in doggie poop. You may not have a parking space. I have emailed the office about this without any reply!!!

I moved in last February and it has been great so far (renewed for another year). Quiet area with good neighbors and great response on any service issues I might have had (which haven't been many). Pleasant office staff and well maintained grounds.

My experience at The Village has been extraordinary. The office personnel and matience team are outstanding! The grounds and amenities are taken care of and look amazing. The location of The Village is hard to beat with shopping centers, restaurants, and schools within walking distance. I have been very satisfied as a resident of The Village.

Overall this has been a horrible experience. The staff and management team are rude and not helpful. On the outside it looks like a nice apartment complex, but when you enter the apartment take a good look at the appliances and construction, because it was built as cheaply as possible. Yet they will still charge you out the --- to rent here. The Leasing office staff is a joke, they will not help you, if you need maintenance done you will be waiting for at least 3-5 days and the problem still won't be solved after they leave. It's a horrible place to live and I wish my girlfriend and I would never have lived here.

Moving is never easy and it's always a pain to do. Luckily THE VILLAGE crew were EXTREMELY helpful in making the moving transition as painless as possible, especially the leasing professional Morgan Tyree. Two months before my move I was given a list of things I needed to turn in before or on the day of the move on Oct 14th. I emailed all documentation on the day of the move in the morning. I received a response from Morgan in less than an hour of the items I had forgot to submit. I emailed the missing items. After moving out of my new place, I raced to make sure I beat the movers to my new place to submit my first month's rent. Morgan was at the office expecting my arrival and had all the documentation ready for me to sign. I thought the initial moving in process was going to take at least 30 minutes, but no, I was there barely 10 minutes. Morgan told me what she needed, I complied and we were set. Moving is one of the most stressful activities none to man, Morgan's exceptional, quality and speedy customer service and professionalism made my move in a breeze. Thank you Morgan Tyree. You are my favorite person of the month.

Great location, freshly painted buildings, and renovated front office. Parking for residents SUCKS! Roaches are terrible at night (side of buildings, on steps, outside, inside apartments). Not completely safe at night, some break ins, shooting (2016 google article), and people climbing balconies to enter 2nd floor apartments. Someone areas are pitch black at night specifically around the tennis court and behind the pool area. I love the walk in closet, itâ s huge! I enjoy the staff a lot and theyâ re nice to my pup! Third floor apartments have beautiful vaulted ceilings!

Roommate's car was broken into the first week. No policy changed they just invited a cop to speak at a community event. The same time everyday, dogs from a nearby vet can be heard howling for almost an hour and it's very noisy. The location is pretty and maintenance is fast. The parking lot can get pretty full but its nice for your own visitors to be able to park anywhere. The rent is reasonable. Trash is valet but they don't come as often as you would want which is probably why we see bugs every once in awhile. Its a very very nice apartment and we always get compliments when people come over about how nice it looks. I love the room sizes and enjoy the community events that they host. The staff is always friendly when I go to the main office.

The staff at The Village is in over drive, working to make the community look great with the new exteriors. They are also working to create a true sense of community with an area of the website open to neighbors communicating with neighbors - great idea! I have just moved in to a beautifully renovated interior & they appear to be renovating each apartment as they become vacant.

I have enjoyed every aspect of living at The Village. The staff is the best of the best!!! If I had one area that I feel needs attention is the lighting of the grounds. I realize that this is hard because of the abundance of trees and this is similar in many other locations as well. I fell there definitely should be more lighting added on the property. I think that the electric company should be consulted and a team of both electric and The Village Staff should walk around property and honestly review the need for additional lighting. I, myself had an additional light added when I initially moved in here simply by stating situation to office manager and this was resolved. Yet, despite this additional light in front of our building, it is still very dark in the parking lots and quite frankly, I feel that this should be corrected. Just because this has been the way it has been since the opening of The Village does not mean that changes cannot occur to enhance the safety of all.

Quality living for a great price. Excellent, supportive and responsive staff. Safe environment for me and my teen daughter. Great location. I'm glad I chose the Village as our home. Will stay as long as prices remain affordable.

I agree completely. We have lived at The Village for a year now, and have loved it. You can't beat the location -- walking distance to a variety of really nice restaurants, grocery stores, dry cleaners, and so much more. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We love all the trees. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance has always handled our few issues promptly and very well. Our two-bedroom is very spacious and well laid out -- the kitchen, dining area, and family room are all open to each other and every inch of space is well thought out for usefulness. There's hardly any noise. We were not happy when the pool was closed the week of July 4th and the weekend of Labor Day for repairs, but our only true concern was for safety. As is true of most apartment complexes, there is quite a bit of criminal activity -- mostly vehicle break-ins. At first, we were shocked to discover this, as it is so peaceful and quiet and friendly here, but then a few weeks ago, we were one of four who had a window in one of our vehicles shattered early one rainy Saturday morning. Nothing was stolen even though the glove compartment and console had been rummaged through -- not an expensive pair of sunglasses, not our cell phone charger, not even a few gift cards we had in the console. It was frustrating and very inconvenient and expensive, but it was less expensive for us than others who only had one vehicle. We believe this issue could be eliminated if cameras were installed on all of the buildings, so that perpetrators can be easily identified and held accountable for their crimes. Even with this incident, we still love The Village, and would stay here if we did not feel the need to purchase a home for our retirement.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews because I have loved living here. The staff isn't fake and pushy like most apartment complexes, they are very friendly and personal. They make an effort to get to know you and always try to help if you have any problems. The apartment itself is spectacular, the floors and kitchen are beautiful and I'll greatly miss this place! I highly recommend living here, you are walking distance from the Y and tons of great restaurants.
