So far I've been here about two weeks and haven't had any issues. I had a smooth move-in, and the staff have been very nice and helpful, checking in to make sure everything is okay. I really like this apartment, and the residents around me seem to be very friendly.

Great location with friendly and professional staff. The management address the issues promptly and are continuing to work on upgrading the campus. Near shopping, restaurants, and parks. Easy access to 540 it's very convenient for commuting.

We've been living here for 8 months now. Nice staff, quiet place, safe area, great location - just have to cross the street to a very nice shopping area. It is also very close to 540. It fits us perfectly.

Most areas of life here are good. It is super convenient to life in North Raleigh. IWe are disappointed with the Garbage Valet Service. The expectations of the service are not met by many residents resulting in numerous bags of garbage at a time outside their doors, with bugs and offensive odors. The office staff just passes the buck when complaints are made and there is no improvement.

Parking near the office is limited. Needs a new pool 90% is only 3ft deep. Needs sidewalks to be completed throughout. New dog park will be nice. Improved landscaping is nice. Need more. Close to shopping restaurants movie theater etc

In general this community is very close to shopping area. It is a short walk to two grocery stores and several other major outlets. They do have expensive extra charges added to monthly bill like trash pickup, which is not always picked up on time. Not much for kids other than pool.

Updated apartments in a convenient location. Very pet friendly and working on more pet amenities, although breed restrictions do apply. Amenities are pretty good for a small complex. The short term lease options were super helpful and apartments are great for this price range.

It's a nice place to live.i would recommend it to family and friends..the staff is very helpful and understanding.The trash valet is very convenient....I wish they had more trash bins for those who accumulate a lot of trash

Great location, everything you need is in walking distance from grocery stores, bars/restaurants, fast food, and a movie theater. We have enjoyed our time here and they are also upgrading the apartments interior to meet more modern looks.

The day I moved in my account was all messed up. It took me months to get it corrected. The Parking is driving me crazy. The last thing I want to do after a long busy day at work is look for a parking Spot. It is very stressful

Love this complex. It's convenient to everything. Office staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool isn't the biggest but it's well maintained. Rent prices are a bit high but since the community is well kept and concerns are handled quickly, it's worth it.

The service was done in a timely manor. My apartment was left clean as if nobody was there. Maintenance was polite and professional. Wouldn't want to live at any other apartment complex In Raleigh. Definitely the best.

My experience at The Village Apartments has been good. I love my apartment and plan to renew my lease when it comes up in Oct. That will make going on my 4th year. The ladies in the offices are wonderful and always very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance men always come take care of any problems I have had in my apartment right away. The parking at times does seem to be tricky but I have managed to find a parking spot. The ground could use a little more care.

I have lived at The Village for almost a year now and I have zero complaints. The staff is great, the community is well kept and the rates are great! I have read many reviews bashing this complex however if you don't start problems you wont have problems. I give this place 5 stars!

I lived here in the late 90,s it was great and always fun people! I've been here now 4 days and have met some good people. The convenience now in this place is incredible! I'm very satisfied, love my apartment and look forward to meeting others in this community! The place still has trees! Thank god! The petsl love it too!??

Great location, office and maintenance staff are very responsive to any needs, apartment and other facilities are well maintained and updated as people move out. I have never had any significant maintenance issues, but the few I've had, maintenance was very helpful and responded quickly even though it was on a Sunday.

Not as an inclusive community as they come off. The value of the building is less than what you pay for. Plus the rental increase is ridiculous if you renew! There are much better options in other areas that would be easier on the wallet. They add a lot of extra fees monthly that aren't disclosed in the contract.

The village apartments should be "The do anything for a dollar apartments". I caution all who consider this place for living to read reviews on the community. We lived at the village for 2 years and never had an issue when it was a Graystar community. Once CRC took over and brought In the property manager (--------------) this place went downhill FAST. ------ took over my account and set my auto pay per month for rent. We had an issue renewing our lease and ------ never put the paperwork into the system which we told her to do for 4 months. I received an email with a 2 day warning for eviction for an unpaid balance of $120. I was on vacation at the time and begged her to help us; that I would pay the balance over the phone. ------ made me wait all day for a reply to call me and tell me she will do me a favor and not evict me and how they have every right to evict even if you owe $20. ------ also began to disrespect me and talk down to me as if I were a problem resident. They never sent a notice or a call, just a 48 hr eviction notice. We flew home early to handle the issue and took off work for ------ to call out. ------ is horrible with customer service and will do anything to make herself look right. She has no civility and only cares about making a profit. There are 2 other ladies who work the office who are awesome and who talk about how bad ------ is when she's not there. The culture here is toxic. We considered living in our car because that's how ------ made us feel. Her boss ---- was no better, motivated by the bottom line all they care about is a check and if you pay your rent on time. I would avoid this community at all costs. The amenities are a joke, a run down pool with 5 year old furniture, a tennis court that grows grass, a gym fit for 2 people and a dog park that has holes for your pets to escape. I would never recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy; I would go as far as to pay rent for someone just so they didn't have to move here. If you have loud neighbors (which you will) you can put in over 20 complaints and nothing will get done about it. People walk dogs in this community that are no allowed to be here ( such at pit bulls and German shepherds). Also, when you get quoted for rent be sure to add around $150 extra dollars for hidden fees they don't tell you about. These last 5 months have been a nightmare and if I can help just one person not move here I'd be happy. Choose at your discretion and do research. If you enjoy paying top dollar for a complex still living in 2001, enjoy being disrespected by the property manager and made to feel like a bum, if you want your dog to escape at the poop filled dog park or if you want to watch grass grow on the tennis court than this apartment complex is for you! Please please please read all reviews on the complex and beware. This is your money and livelihood we are talking about here. Once again, ------ is awful and this community will never be fixed as long as she is running the show!

This is the first place I rented when I moved to Raleigh in 2015 and have not moved out of here since. The staffs are super friendly, the location is beautiful and convenient and is close to many stores and restaurants. It is also safe, clean and green. I do not plan to move out of this place until and unless I buy a home. I would give this community a 5 star rating in almost all aspects. Keep up the good work guys.
