Basically we've been here for over 20 plus yrs - always seem to have had a good relation ongoing with the Office Personal and Maintenance Staff - all work orders taken care of swiftly - mostly happy to be living here. Moved in paying $615.00 now 20+ paying $1263.00 that's not my happy part, but got to live somewhere.

The office staff is really professional and helpful. We've moved quite a few times due to inconsiderate neighbors, and they've helped us out each time. The maintenence staff is wonderful. Super help and go above and beyond.

I do not recommend Forest Ridge to anyone. The apartment buildings are very old. The heating and ac unit is very inefficient. You will definitely hear your neighbors. The parking is ok unless you have a guest who is not parked in the proper place they will be towed. Tow trucks are there every night. Snow removal for the parking lots is awful. The property manager is very rude and not at all helpful or kind. Do not expect to get any of your security deposit back unless you hire professional cleaners to clean before you leave.

I lived at Forest Ridge for 7 years and absolutely loved it. (Two apartments and one townhouse.) Whenever I had any issues and needed maintenance, they came right away and fixed the problem leaving the area they worked in cleaner than when they found it. The staff is friendly and regularly went out of their way with little extras to make sure I was happy. I feel that I got more than what I paid for in rent. Who could argue with free heat and extra storage in the basement? The property is in the middle of the city - you can walk to Whole Foods or Market Basket - but after coming up the hill on the main drive it felt like country. I'm a Boston commuter so having the Boston Express Bus just around the corner was a huge plus as well. The wooded setting is nice and quiet. I regularly saw deer, fox, racoons... Snow removal was quick and efficient and the buildings are maintained very well. If I ever needed another apartment in Nashua, Forest Ridge would be my only choice. I will continue to recommend friends to this property.

Remarkably frustrating place to live despite a pleasant face. The price is ridiculous for what you get, the apartment constantly had operational problems. The layout of the property is completely arbitrary - good luck EVERY SINGLE TIME you ever ask anyone over. There's an absolute OVERLOAD of speedbumps in completely unhelpful locations that have caused slow physical damage. Their parking and towing policy is absolutely asinine (google "forest ridge towing" if you don't believe), and if you have a motorcycle, forget it, they will find EVERY excuse to make your life miserable. Management knows well that they're swindling. Every one of my neighbors have moved out this year and I will be doing the same when my lease is up.

Lived here for several years. Recently moved away. The first few years were great. Quiet respectful neighbors aplenty and there seemed to be an actual professional process to be allowed to rent here. However once the economy started going down so did the residents. I am sure staff was told to rent to anybody regardless as $$ is >> All. Apartment Living can be tough and your neighbors are what is going to make or break it. Are there still good people here - Yes. They are the exception though in my opinion. I feel that I can virtually guarantee, if you move here, that at least one of the folks surrounding you will be obnoxiously loud to the point you would wish you had not chosen this location. Issues of note: Plumbing is falling to pieces. Continually got worse and worse during our stay here. Dripping faucets - Multiple calls/emails - at their request (to keep the water bill down I assume) and unsuccessful repair every time. It would last a day or 2 and then resume. Upstairs neighbors bathroom sink/toilet/??? leaking into our bathroom light (yay for water + electricity) - multiple times. Dishwasher - Never worked properly- Again multiple calls/emails and never successfully repaired Eventually gave up on having it working and ceased the repair attempts. Washers in the laundry facilities not operating properly - multiple calls/emails - unsuccessful repairs. One other thing of note: Thermostat can not be set past 72. This sounds reasonable. However: It is located in the living room. The back bedroom (in a 2 bedroom) barely gets any airflow. With the drafty windows it easily gets into the mid/lower 50's in this room during the winter. (Verified with personal thermometer). Summary: The quality of the neighbors and facilities has been declining for years and it is only picking up speed and momentum. Managements ONLY concern is $$. They will be unwilling to work with you in any fashion if it will effect their bottom line. I would highly NOT recommend moving here. Its sad as it used to be a really nice spot for young professionals. That is no longer the case.

The Leasing office people were not interested to answer all the queries when called. They said the rates will increase by 11/1 but increased it on 10/28. They new rent was less and when asked they changed it (Can you believe it?) The Leasing office person "Lisa" needs to know how to keep her words. She said i have to fill the forms and send and in 10 min (Yes 10 min) I called back to ask for some details on form, she says the apartment is already rented out.

Since the Forest Ridge in Indiana (for some reason) doesn't have a review/ratings page, I will write one here to those that are looking for one. They WERE nice but are going DOWN HILL. A lot of tenants are moving out as soon as their lease is up!! If you have kids, DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL BE SORRY. The kids are running that place. Disrespectful, no home training at all. They do what they want. Most kids are always home by themselves which are all too young to be. The office staff does not care and will not do anything about it. Kids stay out late hours of the night. This woman's two daughters are nothing but trouble out there. Big bullies and trouble makers and their mom is crazy I am sure thats were they get it from. I lived here for a while and loved it until those monsters moved over here. If you do not have kids you still would not want to live here because they will drive you crazy!!!!! Forest Ridge needs to get it together, going way down hill too bad..... Township Dr. Indianapolis, Indiana 46260

I have been living at Forest Ridge for just about 2 years now, and I have to say it has been a pleasure living here. I've read some of the negative reviews, and figure it must be another complex they are speaking about! My background is in Property Management (20 years Senior Property Manager in Boston & suburbs) and it is not an easy job. My experience has taught me most of the complainers are the ones that are the most difficult tenant's to begin with. The office staff here has been excellent! Whenever there has been an issue, they have responded as quickly as possible. They are both caring and professional. The maintenance staff has also been excellent. Housekeeping has been great, and landscape crew and private contractor's do a great job. I would have been ecstatic to have a group working under me as good as the staff here are. Regarding the hot water situation, that was a temporary downer due to implementing a complete new system which has been great since completed! I defy anyone to find an apartment complex with the curb appeal, amenities, etc.at this price. My personal opinion is if you don't like it here, move downtown to one of the tree streets, pay $800-1000 a month for a 1 bedroom unit, pay your own utilities with 50 year old windows and 50 year old heating system. Just be prepared to pay $500 a month heating bill in the winter (conservatively) and also triple plastic your windows. Not to mention the view and noise you will be putting up with!!

Any issue we have gone to them with they have addressed immediately. As someone with a disability they have gone above and beyond to make sure my parking needs were met. I would recommend Forest Ridge highly!

I've lived here almost a year, and in the beginning things were great. It didn't take long before things started going downhill. The apartments are a very nice size, and the appliances are decent. The water system and ventilation system are horrible! You're lucky if you can take a hot shower longer than 5 minutes, and if your neighbor smokes, expect to have your apartment filled with second hand smoke as well. Most of the neighbors are respectful, but the walls are so thin that you'll get annoyed with music blasting at all hours, doors slamming, and people yelling at some point. Maintenance does a pretty good job, except for snow and ice removal, and trash pick-up. There has been everything from chicken bones, used condoms, broken bottles, used tampons found in the grass near my door since I've lived here. Sometimes it can take 2-3 days for them to be picked up. There is no excuse for that! and honestly I don't think that the tenants are always the ones at fault. I believe it's the guests of the tenants, and the teenagers that walk around all day and night! And no one drives the speed limit, I'm surprised that there hasn't been any serious injuries from someone getting hit by a car! They really need to add speed bumps, and a security officer more than a few times a week. And don't bother complaining to the office staff about anything, they are no help what so ever. The two women in the office that were professional (----- & ------) are no longer there. The new staff is horrible! There have been multiple times where I walk in the office and they are in the clubhouse watching Maury, on facebook, texting on their phones, gossiping, or taking a smoke brake in the front of the building and blowing it in your face as you walk by. And on several occasions the office will be closed at random times for up to an hour. I've attempted to go to the office three times in one week and they were closed all three times. Once was at 9:30am with a"will return in 45 minutes". If the office opens at 9 am there is no reason why it should be closed at 9:30am. Another time is when I was going to pay rent, the office closes at 6pm. I arrived at 5:45 and they were closed. Yes, there is a drop box, but I don't trust using it since there has been several occasions where there is a mix-up and mistake on their end. Plus, if you use the drop box you only get a receipt if you ask for one! I've called and left messages for the property manager and never got my phone calls returned. I'm guessing the other girls in the office erased those messages considering how in-professional they are. There have even been times where the office staff will talk about residents and personal situations in front of other residents. I've overheard a conversation where a leasing consultant was calling the residents ------ and that too many people here have attitude problems and want to be treated like they are important! Overall these apartments aren't bad, it has been my experience with the new office staff that has determined my decision to move when my lease is up.

I hated it here. Although the apartment is a decent size, that is about the only thing it had going for it. The heat/ cooling did not work at all in the second bedroom so it was always hot or freezing depending on the weather outside. Maintenance was a constant problem. Out toilet broke (handle became loose and would not flush, and was constantly running) and maintenance "fixed" it. The problem came back a day later, so we looked into the back of the toilet, and maintenance had "fixed" the problem using a twist tie. Maintenance once came into our apartment without knocking or giving us any previous warning. The worst thing about this apartment though, was the water system, which should be considered a safety violation. On countless occasions, I was taking a shower and somebody in ANOTHER apartment would either turn on their shower or flush their toilet. When this happened, my shower would become scalding hot (I actually got burned one time). If another person in another apartment was taking a shower at the same time as you, you can forget about taking yours because it is impossible without either having ice cold or scalding hot water coming out. We talked to the main office about this and they claimed there was nothing they could do because the water systems were old in the building. I ended up having to wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning so that I could safely take a shower without being burned.

Forest Ridge apartments is a nice place to live, but there are some complaints with the place. In the reserve parking lot there is not enough parking spaces, because other tenants like to use the other tenants reserve space. The windows and sliding door is old and drafty. Which leaves you feeling cold. The new bathroom fan is wasn't a good choice. The office staff is the best in the world, the maintence team is the best in the world also. The rent goes up but you do not have the full control of the heat in your apartment. The property is well maintained.

The place is of decent size. People are generally nice. The noise could be bad if you had the wrong neighbors as you can hear through the walls. The complex recently put in a whole building ventilation system in the rest rooms. This was a poor choice. The smell from the rest of the building travels into each apartment, such as smoke. They provide the most affordable option. This would affect all areas of investment and service. I am on the fence as to whether or not I would renew my lease. There are many positives, but also a few undeniable negatives.

I have moved three times in the past three years. Once I moved someplace else and when I was not satisfied at that place. Forest Ridge took me back in less than a month. They let me use the storage a week ahead of time to get settle. I have moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom when my lease was up and transferring was smooth and easy. I would recommend this place to be home. It is convient walking distance to stores. And easy access to the highway. They respond to problems in a very resonable time.

Year 2 is now about over, sadly we will be moving to a home. We had an issue with the HVAC unit in the winter. We called the 24 hour service, and while they could not fix the problem instantly the maintenance crew provided alternate heating in the form of electric heaters within 15 minutes of them realizing the problem could not be fixed instantly. The following workday they had a HVAC contractor in and replaced the entire HVAC system. It was nice to see as I could tell that Forest Ridge knew its "limitations". No doubt they could have done the job and it would have "worked"... Talking to the office later about it, the general sentiment was it's easy to hire professionals for specialized task. Over the 2 years we have been here it's been an overwhelming feeling from the office and maintenance crew they want things done right and they want you to have trouble-free living. We wanted to put an electric grill on the patio and we ran a cord from inside to outside.. One day we asked if there was anyway an outlet could be installed outdoors to make the electric grill cooking easier.. They scheduled a new outlet to be installed I think with 72 hours. A nice professional outdoor safe outlet was installed for easy electric cooking outdoors. They do have some very nice charcoal grills placed throughout the facility... Sometimes electric is just easier :) Forest Ridge has been our home for two years. Without question I would recommend them to family or friends. The staff is friendly and professional, the model apartment is easy to show to potential tenants. Well worth a look to see if this would be suitable as your new home. If we weren't buying a house we would have stayed at Forest Ridge without question! Even when we told them we would be moving they went above and beyond to work with us on our transition. First year is over, looking forward to year #2. Over the winter we had some trouble with the tenants above overfilling their bathtub. We had to call the 24hour emergency number, within 8 minutes Forest Ridge staff was onsite and had the situation under control. My concerns of the water damage were absolutely acknowledged and confirmed by the staff, the following repair was nothing less than 100%. Having never lived in a apartment complex before we both were very unsure of the winter parking rules. While we did not have allot of snowfall we did surely have some heavy snowfall. The road crew was just non-stop keeping the roads clear. Once after the an extreme amount of snow fell the staff did ask us to move the cars so they could clear the snow from the parking lot. In which they emptied the entire parking lot to clear it, job well done!! Salt buckets are left at the entrances, staff and residents work together to keep the walk way ice free. Once winter was over maintenance sprung into action making the grounds look great, with continual grounds keeping being done, This is very nice to come home to. Office staff continues to be just simply amazing, a few additions/changes in faces over the year. But no change in the amazing service the staff provides. Communication from the staff is just a pleasure, either via their notices/newsletters left on the doors or in person. Apartment has held up very well. When we moved in to this apt, it new carpets and flooring had been installed, and was cleaned top/bottom by a cleaning service. No changes in how it cleans up, no surprise odors the apartment is easy to clean and keep up. We did break the bottom shelf on the fridge(100% my fault), sent an email to the maintenance dept and was promptly replaced. Forest Ridge is surely worth a look during your apartment needs.

This is the first apartment my fiancee and I have been living together at. We moved from my parent's house so she could be closer to work. The staff were very friendly and patient during the application process and we were rewarded in return for our patience on a busy day. We were very excited to move in and still consider the package for a 1 bedroom a deal. On the negative side, there has been a lot of work done on the apartment building and this is done rather early in the morning which has interrupted our sleep because we both work late and I sometimes work overnights but keep in mind that they are only trying to improve the quality of life here. In addition, not all apartment buildings (including ours) has a laundry area but the walk isn't horrible to the nearest one. Finally, it is true about the heat and how it doesn't reach the bedroom well but we have plenty warm so far this season. Overall, the staff are friendly and the price is right for what you get.

The downsides for me (not a big one) was that my building did not have a laundry facility and that was a problem in winter.

We had to move to an apaartment that was ground level and they accomadated us in record time. The maintainance staff is also amazing. They keep the grounds clear during all winter storms and make sure that all of the walkways are salted right away. Both the office staff and the maintaince crew have gone above and beyond for us and we truly appreciated it in our time of need. We needed railings on the patio steps and it was done within 24 hours. There are a lot of community activities bingo, cookouts, yard sales, movie nights etc. The gym membership is great. We have not lived in an apartment for many years and we are glad that we chose Forest Ridge for our new home. We plan on staying here for awhile and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet, peaceful and well maintained place to live. Codos to all the staff you deserve it.

I have lived in a lot of complexes and Forest Ridge is by far one of my favorites. The office staff is extremely friendly and make you feel at home the instant you walk in the door. There are weekly events like Bingo, Coffee Hour, and Cookouts so that you can get to know your neighbors and be more like a community. The grounds always look beautiful because they are tended to every day. Forest ridge promotes recycling and is becoming more energy efficient. I have lived in both a two bedroom apartment and a townhome and have loved both styles. I definitely recommend forest ridge!

Forest Ridge was a great stop for me. The staff was excellent and is really making strides to improve the overall living experience of their respective residents. I personally had a situation where I needed a ground level apartment after my child was diagnosed with a neurological condition. Forest Ridge management team moved fast and had an apartment that meet my requirement quickly. This made my life easier in a time when my life was thrown a few curve balls. I strongly recommend the staff and apartments to anyone interested. The annual price increase have been seamless and within annual cost of living increases and I applaud them for that especially during the economical hardships residents had over the past few years.

I moved in in 2003 with my Girlfriend who later became my wife. We lived on the third floor overlooking the play ground and the trees. No major complaints. Forest Ridge is a great place for young people and couples starting out on their own. Rent was modest for A Nashua apartment like we had. We were able to save for a down payment on a house after a few years. We had to remove our grill from the deck but we were able to have a bird feeder. Wildlife and bird life at Forrest Ridge is plentiful. Neat for an urban environment. The Staff really made a great effort to try to organize and bond the community as well with events such as resident picnics, cookouts and movie events. We got more out of Forrest Ridge than most people get from apartment complexes. Service staff worked hard to do a good job for us and the office staff were professional and friendly as long as you treated them as you would like to be treated and of course paid your rent. The only things I would improve on if I had control would be; the floors creak a lot when one walks on them and the windows were old and drafty, not energy efficient. - Erik Kershlis

By far the WORST place we have ever lived! The office\management staff is very unprofessional and so rude. There is no privacy as they constantly are coming into the apartments. They even came in one time without our knowledge... said it was an emergency and there was no emergency. They also make very false accusations against their tennants. We are so miserable here we want to get out of our lease if it's possible. I would rather live in the worst part of town in a run down place than here. We are clean, quiet, hardly ever here. Pay our rent on time. We have one issue in one years time and they were so mean. There have also been numerous issues with plumbing. We mentioned it. They did nothing. Other tennants have also had problems with the plumbing and staff. So I would say if in search do not look here. It's not worth it. Oh and not to mention there is very poor insulation and they just changed the thermas stats so they will not exceed 72 degrees. It gets very cold in the winter especially in the back bedroom. And on top of it they raised the rent. So they limit the heat and air conditiononing and raised the rent. We now are paying nearly 1100 dollars for a two bedroom. Don@rlet them fool ya with the move in deals they lie about them and after a year they will raise it!

We've been here for 7 years and have been very happy. There are issues EVERYWHERE you rent... it's an apartment! The walls are thin, and you hear everything in the building, there is a tow company who tow cars that are PARKED IMPROPERLY, and there is an office staff who has to come up with responses to ridiculous complaints. All true. We are in a nice little corner where our kids can play and our neighbors are super. When things break, maintenance comes within a few hours and takes care of it. The office staff is super friendly if you're nice to them, too. They have lots of community functions (play groups, Bingo, resident cookouts, community yard sale, etc). My point is that, if you have realistic expectations of typical apartment living, you'll be satisfied here. We're most likely moving this year simply for family reasons. Otherwise, we're reasonably happy here. Hope this helped anyone who's looking!
