A very nice complex in a small city. Usually very quiet. Only problems are with squirrels eating the wires in my vehicle's engine! Happened twice. Other than that I'm happy with management and maintenance.

Our apartment in the complex is located in the same building as the leasing office on the back side to the building. The apartment is quiet and feels secluded although we are in a densely populated area. The building are of the 70's era and received only modest updates. Both air conditioning and heat are very loud when running and take away quiet aspect of our unit

It's a quiet area back away from the Main Street so you don't hear traffic very often. The apartment is well maintained and has the main office is easy to reach with any questions or concerns. The price has increased every year at least $100/month which is one of the only reasons I'm leaving. I like the community a lot and it feels safe.

We have always had positive interactions with the maintenance team. They are always quick to help with any issues, they are kind and personable and professional. Over all the property is pretty quiet and low key with only a few disturbances here and there.

Overall the community is a nice place, however there are issues that don't give you a great sense of value when paying monthly. Parking is sparse, disorganized and very unforgiving - especially during the winter time. The apartment is nice and cozy, but kitchen is a narrow nightmare. Neighbors are very great and understanding.

it's quiet for the most part, good for a starter apartment but inconvenient to have to go to basement for laundry, would be better with laundry in unit & complete updated interior, no more carpet & better kitchen/bathroom flooring

I understand that we are in a housing environment which has made rent extortion commonplace, but what I'm paying for an outdated, small 2-bedroom with paper walls and virtually no privacy is fairly egregious. The staff is generally enjoyable to deal with, however there were several issues around my move-in. I was told I was moving into an apartment at the back of the building, which I greatly preferred due to the privacy, the protection from sunlight, and not having my patio be abutting a parking lot... I arrived in my U-Haul to find that my apartment was the front-most in the building - this has incurred significant utility cost in the warm months as the sun beats down on the apartment, and has rendered my apartment bereft of any privacy or protection from noise. The selective, predatory towing procedures are pretty unpopular, as you'd imagine and snow clean-up can only be described as a "colossal -----show." The buildings are shoddy - there is no insulation in the basement ceiling which results in a complete lack of privacy for the main floor residents and constant irritation, which is exacerbated by the fact that we seem to share our laundry and storage with several other buildings. I can very clearly hear the conversations of anyone in the basement, as well as my upstairs neighbor; the insulation in the building is so poor that I can hear the neighbor's phone vibrating and their cats running around on their carpeted floors. And people could stand in the hallway or basement and listen to everything I'm doing and saying in my apartment - it's a good way to have my information stolen if I ever need to recite my social security number or credit card number over the phone and someone happens to be doing their laundry right under me and has a notepad... Security feels like an issue given that everyone in the complex knows the universal code to enter the building and our storage units are protected by nothing but wire which could be easily cut apart for your possessions to be carried off in the dead of night. I don't believe there's any interest in spending to improve the state of the buildings or improve quality-of-life for residents, so I imagine these complaints fall on deaf ears. Friendly staff and maintenance are certainly something which makes things more tolerable, and is appreciated.

The grounds of the property are very well maintained and create a sense of home. Any maintenance request we put in is responded to in a timely manner. The snow removal is on point and is efficiently done. We have a newly renovated apartment and it is so great but the handyman work is sloppy and could have been done better.

My boyfriend and I moved in last fall and we have loved it here. Our one bedroom apartment is the perfect size for two of us and had been well maintained. Our neighbors are respectful and quiet, they keep to themselves but are friendly. The outside of the property is well maintained. The location of the property is perfect, there is so much to do around here.

While the apartments are small, they are nice and quiet, and still provide for ample space. The prices are reasonable for the area but still rather expensive for what you are getting. They do cover some utilities to help make that cost more appealing considering they still use gas for heat, hot water and the stove. The biggest complaint I have is that the gas stove has zero, I repeat ZERO ventilation to the outside. All of the fumes and burning gasses will only be recycled into the apartment. Its nearly essential that you keep a window open if you dont want to be breathing gas fumes. For the money its a good apartment. Quiet neighborhood, some traffic noise from highway near by, occasional planes. Considering other places will run you considerably more (including utilities), this apartment complex is well maintained and staff are professional and courteous. They answer maintenance requests quickly and efficiently.

My fianc?e and I lived at Hilltop by Princeton for four years before moving back to my parents' house during the pandemic. When we were able to move out again, we immediately knew we wanted to come back to Hilltop. The apartments are well-maintained, the maintenance team and office staff are friendly and helpful, and the community is overall very nice. We love Hilltop, and we are lucky to call it home!

My experience in hilltop is Overall 5 stars. The leasing office staff, community, location, fun activities from the community, good neighbors, maintenance, apartment size is just perfect. Everything is very clean and perfect.
