Terrible management
Management is great until you sign the papers. After that expect regular harassment and unmet promises. You think you will have a clean apartment when you move in...think again. You think there is adequate parking... no way they will tow your car if it is parked in a visitor space longer than 12 hours. If you get a flat tire watch out that is another $300 tow. Management is rude, dishonest, and unresponsive. Look elsewhere. You will be much happier.

Forest Ridge Apts - Sucks
I would not recommend Forest Ridge Apartments to anyone because -
1) Not enough Parking (for resident and guests)
2) After-hours service really sucks (if you need them in emergency)
3) Rental office staff very rude and not so cooperative...
4) No playing area for kids
I'd not recommend anyone with kids to Forest Ridge and in case of guest they have to park their cars miles away, if they are visiting you.

Not so bad
I've been at Forest Ridge for 6 months. I've got no complaints about the Maintenence, they are very quick to help. Spring has just started and they are jumping on getting the landscaping done. I live on the thrid floor and have two cats. It's nice to have a balcony that they can go out on considering all cats must be indoor cats. The parking situation is a little rough now but it's understandable. On each buildings doorways there is a map and instructions about visitor parking. If you don't follow the rules for visitor parking you will be towed. It's simple as that. I love it, no complaints at all :)

Forest Ridge Sucks
-Save your self time and Money. Do not move into Forest Ridge. Their office staff sucks and lack basic people skills.
-Their maintenance crew sucks. It takes them days to fix basic problems and they do not provide a report when problems have been fixed.
-Parking has become a nightmare. You cannot have visitors without having the fear of getting their cars towed.
-You can't have grills nor pets.
-Dumpsters are emptied once a week, c'mon 1 a week. uugh

Property Manager has poor people skills
I have lived at Forest Ridge for 2 years with my two children in a two bedroom apartment. I love the neighborhood, the school district, the maintnance and so on. When I discovered we were expecting baby #3, I immediately followed up on the waiting list we had been on for over a year fir a 3 bedroom townhouse. Somehow, I was still 6th on the list, where I had been when I signed on, yet there had been numerous move-outs and immediate occupancy on them (mostly maintance and their families...is this fair?). Somehow, though, we mananged to get a phone call asking if were interested in a 3 bdrm that would be avail one month after we were due to sign out lease. We jumped on it, of course, and what was to follow is in my opinion the worst experience I have ever had with anyone managing a business. They extended our lease for one month, and said we would recieve the rest of the paperwork for the new townhouse shortly. Instead, I recieved a notice that someone was to enter my apartment in less than 24 hours to do a "prliminary Walk-though". When the woman arrived, to my astonishment, she began to open my oven, refridgerator, closets, masterbedroom closet and so on. A few days later, I recvived a phone call informing me we "didn't pass the inspection", but would be given "a second chance". In one week, someone else would come back to check certain things such as the inside of the oven and the shower tiles. So, completely offended, I began to clean everything I could think of, spending 3 hours in the kitchen, 3 hours in the bathroom, asking a neighbor to help clean the oven, as pregnant woman are not supposed to use oven cleaner. It was a busy week, trying to get my oldest daughter ready to start fitst grade and to apease the property manager. When the inspection was conducted again, my apartment was as clean as the day I moved in, with the acception of a few things which are to be expected after living there for 2 years. The woman came in, and briefly walked into each room. I had to call attention to the oven and the shower tiles, she was not even going to look at them. The inspection lasted less than 5 minutes. The following week, I recieved a notice saying we had been denied the townhouse due to the recent inspections. I was outraged, and contacted the property manager. She informed me that the apartment was not in a clean condition whatsoever(this woman had never steped foot in my home). She tried to tell me my cat's ltter had been left to overflow all over the bathroom, and that there was writting all over the walls. First and foremost, the litter bax had been changed the night before the inspection, and there was a few spots of crayon on my kid's bedroom wall. She also tried to say that my carpet was "completly destroyed". Which is not the case. Instead of asking for another security deposite on the townhouse instead of transfereing the current on for the apartment, she has denied us the chance to move into the townhouse. Every apartment is re-painted and re-carpeted between each tenant, and my understanding was that the security deposit was used to pay for this IF you caused the need for it to be done, but not if it was just normal wear and tear. She also gave two days from the time we were notified that we couldn't move into the townhouse to notify her if we would re-sign our lease in our apartment. We now have to make some very big descsions, which include moving to a different school district when my daughter very nervously just started first grade.
In Conclusion, I could not recomend This prpoerty to anybody due to the way my family has been "jerked-around" and treated as if our HOME is not important.

Change is good
I have lived at Forest Ridge for the last 3 years. When I moved in I was generally happy witht he place. Clean and pretty remote to the Amherst street rush. The maintenance people are very pleasant and well mannered. They are generally very prompt and if not, its because of some other major problem. But no complaints. THe tenants are very nice and pretty much keep to themselves, which is nice. The office staff is REALLY helpful. They take the time to listens to you and are always cheerful when you come in the office. A real nice group of women. I ahve also heard this from tenants throughout the complex. The rent is compatible to other apartment complexes and it included heat, water and gas. They are really good plowing in the winter. I have never met the property manager there, the women int he office have always handle and answered my questions promptly. An apartment is an apartment , but this is well operated by a group of nice, considerate people. They have made a lot of changes in the last three years I have been here and all have been for the best.

Poor Maintenance
Very poor response to your problems.
They are prompt in responding to small issues but show indeference to problems that cost them money. They lie through their nose,
pass the buck between management and the maintenance dept and the property manager who is supposed to be the ultimate deciding authority --- is never available to comment nor answers back your phome call.
My advise, look elsewhere.

Lock your doors!!!
I lived here for a couple years while I was going to college in Nashua. The rent wasn´t bad compared to other places in Nashua, but the apts are kinda run down. The rooms were a good size, and the walk in closet was great. The bathroom was also a good size.We had 3 washing machines in the basement (no hook ups in apts) and anytime I did laundry I would have to sit down there and wait or someone would take my clean clothes out of the washer or dryer and throw them on the floor. The best part was there were a lot of other kids from school that lived there so I didn´t have to go far to party and they allow cats, the bad thing is one night something like 20 cars were broken into. People were missing CD´s and radios, and I had my cell stolen out of the glove box. They never caught the guys. Another time someone was trying to break in through the window in my bedroom at 3am and I called the police. It took them 10 minutes to get there. The guy was obviously gone by the time they arrived, and of course they thought I was making it up (even though there was a huge handprint right on the window that the stupid cops didn´t even notice.) My paretns freaked the first time they saw the place and wanted me to move out right away. The parking lot isn´t very well lit. I would recommend spending a few extra bucks to live somewhere nicer. They raise the rent every year anyway at Forest Ridge.

Not a bargain
The units aren´t anything special and you can frequently hear your neighbors. If you have a unit which faces the parking lot, be prepared for a fair amount of noise.

The property director is generally unhelpful to deal with on any matter (knows one word: "no"). The management company (Condren Reality Management Corporation, 1 Managers Place, Syracuse, NY) invests minimally in the upkeep of the place and it shows.

When Forest Ridge began to offer less-than-year leases, the quality of tenants began to degrade significantly.

Laundry facilities are only in the basements of select buildings. You may have a considerable walk outside between buildings to get to your assigned laundry room.

The only positive thing that can be said about this place is that the office staff (exclusive of the property director) was pleasant to deal with. They tried to help and were responsive to maintenance issues.

For your rental dollar, look at other places before you look at Forest Ridge. It´s not much of a bargain.

Horrible
Bad service. Never show on time to fix stuff. Not worth for the price. make sure you read the contract carefuly. It does not matter how long you stay there, if you move out before yor lease is up, you will always be responsible to pay to pay the rent until the lease exprired or the unit is rented whichever comes first

Not Bad! (ok)
NOt bad for the money, BUT they keep raising the prices!! Just about up to a grand for a 2bdrm. The complex has NO ammentities! For 10 dollars less and 50 square feet less, you can live at Royal Crest, Boulder Park, plus a few others. THESE complexes have pools, gyms, tennis courts, and are newer.

The good - close to Route 3 - staff is exellent - never had a problem! Maint. has always fixed everything quickly.

Amused by all the bitter people...
...who can´t seem to understand why you need to meet income qualifications. If you have two names on the lease, then each of the people need to be able to meet the financial requirements.

Lived here for over a year, and just renewed. Found the office very willing to negotiate a 13-month term instead of the usual 12. Agree that the laundry services are slow to be repaired, but anything having to do with safety (e.g., our front door didn´t close properly when we moved in) gets fixed PDQ.

No parking problems, convenient to 3, decent price for a roomy apartment. Wife commutes to Boston, and I commute to Manchester, and there´s no place anywhere else that works this well for us.

hmmm, not married too bad
myself and my girlfriend of almost 4 years went down and toured the facilties. we both loved the place but i happened to notice that on the bottom of the application it stated that you must make $30,600 per year. i asked the girl at the front desk if that was a combined income and she told me that each had to be seperate because we are not married. too bad ;0(

Decent for the price
For the price ($785 for a 1BR, going up to $830), you can´t beat this place. There´s virtually no road noise and pleanty of parking. I´m definately going to renew.

However, there are a lot of kids living here so it´s kind of noisy on weekends, not all of the buildings have washing machines in them and the maintenance man is very slow to respond to problems. All in all, I´d give it a 3.8 out of 5. For the money, you really can´t do much better in Nashua.

Poor Service, Arrogant property Manager,
When there was flood in bath room of the unit we were renting, the service people were too slow to respond. The people in charge didn´t even had a common sense of shutting down the water in the unit till asked to do. Literally ---- was pouring from the ---- pot as well as from the bath tub, nothing was done to clean for more than 5 hours. The Manager was not even apologetic or courteous to take care of the problem. He was so arrogant, saying what you will do if your own place had a similar problem. The water was stopped for more than 5 hours, When asked to arrange for rest room facility as I had four year old who couldn´t control natural urge, the Manager impolitely said use gas station rest room. Is this why people pay rent???

Will get out of the apartment unit when the contract expires.

basic and boring
these apartments are rather dark, and the maintenance people are slow to respond to any problems. rent just went up, and I really don´t think they are worth what we are paying. the kitchen is very narrow, the bathroom fan - until we took it apart - sounded like a 747 taking off, and the windows offer no insulation at all from outside noise (of which there is a lot - many, many children with nowhere for them to play but in the parking lot). our unit flooded and ruined much of what we had in storage. most of the time, one or both of the washers is broken. you can only turn right out of the complex, and often must use 2 jughandles (turn-arounds) to get to a place just around the corner - this gets more annoying than it might sound. if you live in an upper corner unit (as we do), the security light shines directly - and powerfully - into your bedroom (and the second bedroom) all night - bright enough to read by.

good things - gas stove, paid heating, and large master bedroom closet. allows cats.

overall, I wouldn´t live here again, but I suppose it´s convenient to route 3 and the neighborhood is safe.
