Really bad!
Management is getting really bad about parking and hired a towing company that comes in EVERY night to tow! they will tow you from your own space! I watched a neighbor argued with towing company and called police. They towed his car from his reserved spot! I watched tow truck driver push him to the grown and they were yelling to stop videotaping the whole thing. This place is now a nightmare with the towing company sneaking by my window looking at cars to tow. The policy should be to call the tow company if somebody is in your space and get these crazy people out of here every night.

Decent apartment
My husband and I lived here for 4 years and moved out when we bought a condo. Overall,we were happy to live at Forest Ridge. The maintenance staff and office staff were helpful and professional. I liked the layout of the property & they did a good job with maintaining it. The storage area was very helpful to have. My apartment was in a very quiet building(#12 Hampshire Drive). The neighbors were quiet and not intrusive, they respect eachother's privacy. That was helpful since my hubby and I both work the night shift. My first complaint is that the kitchen in our 1-bedroom apartment was smaller than the bathroom. It was difficult to cook(at times)and I found it difficult for my hubby and I to both be in the kitchen at once due to the lack of space. The main reason we decided to buy a condo was that the rent was just too high for a 1-bedroom unit. We are getting more for our money at the condo. The other issue is the parking. The policy says that each apartment unit is allowed 2 spaces in the lot and that visitors must park on the street. Problem is that many residents park on the street to get as close as possible to their building, thus leaving little or no spaces for visitors. If visitors park in the lot, they will be towed and pay a heavy price to get their car back. This happened to my sister 3 years ago and since then, she has not wanted to visit us at Forrest Ridge. The policy on parking needs to be rewritten to encourage residents to utilize the parking lots more, thus freeing more spaces for visitors.

Horrifying Living Arrangments!!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! the management is rude and unprofessional! They don't help with anything at all. The appearance sucks and the building has a weird smell throughout..as if someone has defecated somewhere. So happy my husband and I are moving out soon!!!!

NOT HAPPY ANYMORE
Have only lived here for a few months...2 floods in 3 weeks...so UNACCEPTABLE!!! I was told "things like this happen" Are you serious?? You don't just say that to residents and expect them to be ok with it. My kitchen wreaks from the first flood (needs to be gutted in order to fix the stench) So not happy...I don't recommend living here unless you don't mind floods and having the leasing office give you a ridiculous response and don't mind a smelly habitat. Will be leaving very soon and possibly leaving before the lease is up in Sept or there will be legal actions taken.

A great place to live
I've lived in Forest Ridge for over a year. It's very peaceful living here. The apartments are spacious and very modern. You have a balcony, and a storage area. The master bedroom closet is to die for! It's so nice coming home to central AC. I recommend it to anyone one who wants to upgrade their living style! -Clara A.

Great Place to Live
I am so pleased to be a resident here. The location is terrific, and the property is beautiful. My apartment is spacious and for an older property it truly looks brand new. I have had a few minor maintenance issues, and all were resolved within 24 hours. I have been consistently impressed with the professionalism and care that all of the staff here has given. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else unless I bought a house of my own.

Safe, friendly environment with responsive staff
I enjoyed living at Forest Ridge Apartments and found the staff to be responsive to my needs. This is a big apartment complex, but it is well maintained and a safe, clean place to live. The location is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Annoying living
We have been here for almost two years and have lived with children playing ball, jumping, and running all the time. We have complained to management, and nothing has been resolved. Our neighbors were throwing trash, and cigarettes all over our patio with no respect for others, and nothing was done. We were promised peace, but we have not had any. We are currently preparing to move because of this and the management was rude to me as well. When I explained that we tried to deal with the noise, I was thrown out of the office. I think the person has a power trip. I think someone should train them to respect tenants who had never gave anyone a problem, and has always paid there rent, and on time. We have nothing nice to say about living here...it was a nightmare.

A tenant
I found the apartment very clean and well maintained when I first came to look at the place. If I have anything that needs fixing I call and it is taken care of with in 24 hours. All ways clean and professional. Grounds are kept neet and plowing is done starting at first snow fall, sanding as needed on all walk ways. We have had Forest Ridge sponsored cookouts,s'mores night, coffee meet and greet, and yard sales. I have had opportune to meet many of my neighbors through these actives. I found having a Membership to the Focus on Fitness club has helped me get out and do more.

Rating My Stay At Forest Ridge Apartments.
I stayed at Forest Ridge Apartments for 17 years and these years were nothing but memorable. The rent was reasonable and within current market guidelines and the office staff and maintennace staff were courteous and prompt. My issues were addressed promptly and correctly. The outside lighting is adequate and provides extra security. I would recommend anyone to live there and assure you that your stay too, will be memorable.

Reasons NOT to move to Forest Ridge
1. NOISY inside and outside. 2. No privacy, no sound-proofing. 3. PAPER-THIN walls. 4. Complaints and issues barely ever resolved. 5. Residents are not screened (they let ANYONE in) 6. Parking problems in most areas. 7. Buildings are poorly constructed, poorly insulated, and poorly maintained. 8. "Patch jobs" to avoid actual repairs and/or replacements. 9. Constant tree cutting and construction (Forest Ridge lacking forest) 10. Takes months of abuse, complaints, and police involvement before guilty parties are evicted.

I like it here
I have been at Forest Ridge for over 20 years. I have seen many changes some I was not crazy about some I liked. I remember the year my central air died it was the hottest day of the summer it was the fourth of July and I had a new unit installed on the holiday. the story for heat is very similar. Over the years I have made request and have had positive response to them all. This includes a remodeled kitchen, and bathroom, a new carpet for the living room, several appliance upgrades. I have seen trees removed but in general they were ones that were problems for cable, power lines ect. More recently they have had morning coffee days at the office and a nice cookout.

We like it here!
Forest Ridge is a very decent place to live. It is well maintained, and the maintenance staff is always friendly and quickly come to fix your problems. The landscaping is pleasant and the staff is always updating the look and adding more mulch, grass, and new plants and bushes. (Keep up the good work!) Gas for heat, hot water, and cooking is included in the rent, and anyone who has payed for a gas bill will know how much this saves you money. The office staff is very nice and always help you whatever your issue may be. Laundry is on-site and is much more convenient than traveling down the road to get it done. There is also plenty of storage for off-season items like your holiday decor and summer clothing/winter coats. We have renewed our lease and will be staying here again for our third year now. We plan to stay here until we are able to purchase our first house. We would highly recommend you check out Forest Ridge for your next place to call home! :)

Great Place to Live
I have lived at Forest Ridge since March 2009. In the few short months we havent had many problems. We did have a few maintenance issues but they were taken care of right away. I agree the hallways need a little work but the apartments are in really good shape. They redo them completely once someone moves out (painting/carpets). The noise isn't bad at all except for a select few that have parties. You don't hear the party but you do hear the slamming of the hallway doors (the signs on the doors are ignored). I think it is a great place for young families starting out but be careful of the kids in the parking lots... they like to dart out from between parked cars sometimes. They really have been doing an excellent job with the upkeep of the grounds. One thing I wish they would do is to repair the walls in the hallways and add a fresh coat of paint... that was a real turn off when trying to choose an apartment. The police have been doing more patrols of the parking lots too so I think that is helping keep down the car break-ins. You are going to get that anywhere you go though. And I love the fact that they allow cats (up to 2 - must be indoor).. that was one of the things that helped us decide to move in.. we didnt want to get rid of our cat of 12 years. He is happy as can be there too!!

Enjoy the wooded area
I moved to Forest Ridge because I loved the feeling of being in the woods. My apartment and building are great. When I have a repair the maintenance staff responses quickly to get it fixed. I love the outdoor grilling areas since I can not have a grill on my balcony. The office staff is very helpful if you have a problem. The outsides are looking good with new landscaping. I would recommend Forest Ridge for anyone looking for an apartment in Nashua

terrible management
i have lived here for over two yrs. i am so dissappointed with the management. The only amenity you have is heat hot water and cooking gas. you are not allowed to have a gas grill except if your an employee. Every one else doesn't have the luxury of an out door grill but an employee of forest ridge. He is suppose to be working but every day he is at his apt. or working on his car and the stereo is blasting. when it is nice out they are very loud and obnoxious. Then you go into another building to do laundry it reaks of pot smoke. You have young couples partying every weekend outside and no sleep for you. Kids run amuck in traffic it states no bikes scooters etc. but to no avail. I have seen people almost run over the kids because they are in between park cars and dart out. If you like noise outside your window every day and employees getting special privilages. Partying and come home and no where to park. And every winter your snowed in but if your an employee they have all their cars shoveled out. and in summer they have there yard cleared of debry. I am sick of it. I do not recommend it unless you like to party let your kids run amuck, pot smoking, and only employees have special privalages. Management is blind and dont care there are alot of apts. can you imagine if every one blared their car stereos pot smoking party every night your friends come over and work on their cars and are loud disobeying the rules poor management and are privy to every one else in the complex. I thought grills were against the fire codes. But oh well he is an employee he is an exception to the rules. It sucks but there are alot of complexes that have more amenities then this horrible slum. soon as lease is up i am out here. I have had visitors come and wouldn't move here found something alot more cared for and more professional management and grounds keeping. I have managed duplexes and fourplexes and never in my history have i had this with blind management. who hired them any way.

great price, not so great management
I have lived here for around 3 years. The apartments are large, are priced well and the insides are totally redone everytime someone moves. But that is where my satisfaction ends. The outside maintenance is deplorable, the grounds are never kept up, and the inner hallways and outside of the buildings all need work. They tow cars when they feel like it - even if you aren't in the wrong - and you are forced to pay for it - it seems they make up the rules as they go along. I have never had a problem with my personal safety but many cars have been broken into. Staff is allowed to do whatever it pleases. Several staff employees live onsite. If a tenant did 1/2 the things the staff does, it would be "written up" or spoken to. Yet staff can have loud parties in the common areas, work on their cars, let their kids run wild between the cars and that is all ok. My recommendation: if you can't afford somewhere else in Nashua it is clean and relatively safe - otherwise, keep looking!

Distruction of the woodlands behind building #17
We are on our 3rd year living at Forest Ridge Apartments. When we moved here, we took our apartment because of the beautiful forest behind our apartment, hense the name FOREST RIDGE APARTMENTS. It was nice coming home from a hard days work, sitting out on the balcony and letting the stress of the day melt away, looking at the rustic wooded area and enjoying the rustic landscape in a city setting. Now they have decided to destroy the landscape and tear alot of the trees down, leaving a dirt landscape, for everyone to look at. They also have no consideration for their tennants wants or needs. We have also complained once about the destruction and they returned today and did more. If you live in Forest Ridge and overlook one of the other woodland areas. your area could be next. For those who line here and do not like the woodland area as it is, I suggest you move to another apartment that overlooks the parking lot and stop making stupid recommendations to clean up the woods. Leave nature as it is.

DUMB IF YOU DON'T CONSIDER FOREST RIDGE
Have been a tenant for 2 years and this review is a long time coming. Apologies to the staff. Twice I have had to call for service on a Sunday and both times we had a response in under 30 minutes (No hot water and a leak from an upstairs tenants overflowing bath) They had a 'PLUMBER' for the hot water problem at 8:30 PM on a Sunday. Beat that! These are just a few examples of the excellent maintenance at Forest Ridge Apts. The office staff has always been very responsive to all our requests and there have been more than a few. Kudos to the Office staff. Bottom line; if your looking for an apartment in the Nashua area you would be stupid not to consider Forest Ridge. CAUTION! Check the other complexes VERY CAREFULLY before you decide. Happy.

Decent place
Lived here for two years...lucked out as I got a corner second floor apartment. No one upstairs and to the side to bother me. Unique woodsy setting for the apartment. I got newer kitchen and bath woodwork. Pros: Maintenance was fast. Decent neighbors. Heat is paid for so big help in the winter. Easily one of the more affordable places in the area especially if you are going to compare to similar apartments built in the late 60s - early 80s. Central air - huge plus for me may not be needed for you. If I live for 1 more year, 4% increase in rent over 3 years for a 1-BR. Pretty awesome I think. Cons: Guest parking ouch! More than enough for residents though. My other gripe was that my storage cubby and laundry are in 2 completely different buildings. Still cant figure that eureka moment from the management. Had some water damage in the basement storage. Kitchen has one drawer (yeah 1 lousy drawer). Cant figure that out yet. Affordable place with most of your amenities - if you are a working professional with occasional entertaining needs like me, cant go wrong.
