Wildhorror Estates
I had a daughter living here and it was insane. My Daughter or myself would call the office for loud noise, dogs barking all hours day and night. They would usually say that there is no such thing going on.There are dog feces and garbage on the grounds.People let there kids run wild around the apartments, you do not get any sleep here due to constant noise, whether its dogs, kids or loud neighbors.I have dealt with the office personnel on alot of occasions when they did nothing when my daughter would have a complaint and I could here what was going on from my end of the phone. They had lost important information that was in there hands, very incompetant, they dont like to deal with anything.

Freedom? NO WAY
think of all the tv choices out there now a days, cox cable, prism, direct tv satellite, dish network sattelite and now primecast. you would think in a perfect world, you would be able to choose which service you would like to use.. in this case NO. i requested direct tv to come out but due to the apartment location, this was unavailable. next i tried for prism - cable tv. this should have been no problem to install. guess again. despite having 2 cable jacks in the apartment, centurylink told me they are unable to run a cable from the cable box to my apartment. are you kidding me??? the office manager came over to my apartment and tells me, i can only use primecast. this is unacceptable. another thing that is unacceptable is the roach infestation. we spray every week yet they keep coming back. our neighbors are slobs and leave their garbage in front of their door and it stinks up and is infested with flies. yet their policy is no garbage is to be left out. the location is awesome, just not fair that choices are being made for us. by all means if the apartment is going to pay the bills, then yes, make the decision, but until then, give me my freedom.

Living here at this complex
This was a nice area for Apartments Wild horse was pretty nice yrs. ago however since they change Management the place is very run down. I Have requested my screens and appliances to be replaced and this is ignored. the grounds are a mess there is trash every- where, the planting areas are left to grow weeds except in front where people can see. NOW THEY HAVE dogs that are at least a hundred lbs, and mess every where you can't walk at night with out your stepping in . THEY USE TO BE CONCERNED WHO THEY RENTED TO.now it's groups of young people in Gangs. you can smell the scent from pot. also the people do not watch there young children and they throw stones and gravel every where , The Police are here quite often. I am so sorry this has happened but they must be desperate and now this is worse that any section eight.I feel i can break my Lease due to them not being responsible for keeping grounds safe and clean and ignore replacing old appliances...Many good tenants have moved recently and I KNOW SEVERAL MORE WHO WILL BE.

grounds covered in dog feces..stay away!
After living here for several years we decided we'd had enough of the idiots who let their dogs relieve themselves in front of the apartments, and then don't clean it up. People with children actually do not pick up the dog poop that their own pets leave. A lot of nasty, mean jerks around. My husband and I were threatened twice , because we were walking our dogs, and I guess the creeps didn't particularly like our dog. It's very dog friendly in general, but again, very few pick up the dog feces. There is NO security, and the pool is constantly vandalized. Our apartment is full of cockroaches thanks to the unreliable pest control who doesn't show up for her appointments. We have an updated apartment, but the people who prepared the apartment for move-in just slapped it together. A lot of things loose, and crooked. No A/C vents in bathrooms..very small too. The maintenance guys are really nice, and helpful...they are the only good things I can say about the place.

LISTEN TO ME -- DO NOT MOVE HEREEEEEE!!!!
i currently live here and cannot wait to get the hell out. i f***ing hate it here. too much to say about this place. there's drug dealers here and cops always have to come everyday to stop some form of crime. it's scary and the place can easily be intruded because the apartment in general is so soft. i seriously can punch a hole in my wall near my window and my hand would be in the other side. thats how thin and weak these walls are. speaking about apartment, this place sucks. im a 5'9 guy and if i jump, my head would bang on the wall. if your claustrophobic then this is def. not the place for you. the closets are super small and not well built. and the cockroach problem is horrible. we are clean people and to be honestly honest, it doesn't matter. no matter how clean you are, if your neighbors are dirty the roaches will still find their way into your apartment. the flooring is fake. it's supposed to be used for wallpaper not the floor. my toe can peel that "tiling" off the floor. and the bathroom is so small. i feel claustrophobic while i poop. oh man let me talk about the walls, because it's crazy. it seems like a maniac lived in my apartment and broke everything in the walls, and they tried to somehow conceal it. water leaks from upstairs. i dont know what the hell it is and neither do they.

It's funny how everyone writes when something goes wrong. What apartment complex or house is perfect? no place. I have lived in Wildhorse Estates for 14 years and love it here. I will renew my lease and continue to live at Wildhorse Estates.

GLAD TO HAVE MOVED!!!!!!!! RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I lived here for YEARS!!!! And I really enjoyed the location BUT the last year of my tenancy was HOOOORRRIBLE!!! It severly rained in Las Vegas for two weeks straight and my ceiling began to leak!!! My bedroom closet and bedroom was completely wet and my clothes were DAMAGED!! They would not allow me to get out of my lease even though it was due in two months!!! Brenda (leasing mgr) was a great help....she did offer me to transfer to another apt but it would be stupid and redundent to move all my stuff TWICE because i knew i was moving the HELL OUT OF THERE. Nobody ever repaired the ceiling therefore my apt smelled of mold!! It further damaged my health due to my asthma. JANELLE WAS A B*TCH!!!! SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER!!! VERY POOR ETIQUETTE SKILLS, SHE USED FOUL LANGUAGE AND WAS VERY VERY VERY RUDE!! SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK IF SHE'S GONNA BE DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS OF ANY SORT!!!!! OUT OF ALL THE YEARS LIVING AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH RUDENESS FROM ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES, SHE WAS ABOVE ALL THE WORST PERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!! If Wildhorse Estates cares about their company they really should look into firing and replacing her!!! Other than my bad last year, i can honestly say that it was worth what i paid for.

Crack head maintenance
I have lived at the wildCRAP estates two years now. I am moving out ASAP....These apartments are the worst apartments I have EVER lived in. They were some what nice at the begininng...for about 5 months, and then they got AWFUL. Everything has broken in the apartment...washer,cabinet, heater, shower, sink....you name it.The oven takes about an hour to heat up on top of it. We have had ant and cricket problems that were AWFUL. The person who lives above us stomps in his apartment all though out the night and it is RIDICULOUSLY loud. People don't care about your parking spot, because they will block you in and will not move. Everyone who lives in these apartments are ------ and do not care about their surroundings. There has been numerous times I have woken up to loud -------- music coming from the other side of the apartments. They charge you around $800 for a one bedroom peice of crap that isnt even worth $100. They do monthly fire inspections which I find to be ridiculous...every apartment I have ever lived in NEVER did that. It is most likely because how poorly built they are they have to check since they burn down all the time. You do not want any of the maintenance people in your apartment if you have nice things, they all look like cracked out convicts that are waiting to rape you or steal your things...I saw one peeing behind a dumpster. They are vile.Same goes for the office staff...they are old dirty whores that don't even speak English. They cannot help you with anything. I am almost positive that they are mentally --------. If you have any brain at all you will stay far away from these apartments.

Should never be considered as a first choice
My boyfriend and I have been here for almost a year and we're already looking for another place to move. We moved here since it was cheap but that was because they almost moved us to a handicapped apartment and informed us barely a week before we were ready to move in. That was already a red flag! They agreed to lower the rent a bit because of the mistake. The first few months were fine... Then we started having ants and spider problems. Our bathroom started to smell like sewage and our non-ceramic tub forms mold easily. The air conditioning broke down on us twice (we actually had to use pliers to manipulate the air vent grill since it wasn't cooling all of the rooms properly). The pipe on our water heater sprung a leak and we stayed up all night trying to drain the buckets of water. We had to wait til the clubhouse was open so that they can send someone down to fix it. Don't count on them for emergencies. Despite landscapers coming by weekly to maintain the place, they seem to conveniently miss our area, causing a lot of the plants in our patio to grow wildly (the leaves were practically touching our floor and we couldn't go out!). Management is pretty bad and "lenient" with their rules and restrictions. Please remember the names of the management staff you're working with; they get new staff members every few months and they always seem to be caught off-guard or clueless if you have questions or complaints. There are signs posted about penalty fines for dog owners who don't pick up after their pet and yet there's piles of poop on the grass. I spent 3 weeks calling and asking them to cut the wild plants in our patio until we finally went down to the office ourselves to complain. Some stupid new neighbor busted the roof of OUR reserved sheltered parking spot and it wasn't fixed until over a month later. Seems like anybody can park in those reserved spots. Don't get me started on the neighbors! Depending on which building you're in, the kids can be quite annoying. Our current neighbor who lives across from our door treats the area like a giant ashtray. There are cigarette butts, ashes, and burnt matches everywhere and they don't even use the ashtray that's right outside of their door! The walls are thin so you can hear anybody in your building loudly walking down the stairs, blasting music or having loud conversations. Oh, let's not forget that Wildhorse Estates was in the local news a few months ago because some crazed lunatic CLIMBED up to the third story and entered through the patio to beat and rape an elderly woman! There's almost always police cars here and security consists of one guy who spends more time watching TV inside the gym than patrolling the place. Oh yeah, the gym only has a few machines that work but there is no fountain or bathroom. I think the only good thing here would be the student discount on the rent, so make sure you have a current Student ID on you and ask!

Trailer park in the heart of Green Valley
I would not live here past my lease period if the rent was free. This place is THE worst I have ever seen! The neighbors are filthy and crazy. I complained about nasty, stinky patios before I moved in and for the past several months. Kids do car surfing through the parking lot, people work on their beat up, run down cars and work their hydrolics out there too. There are plenty of cockroaches and red ant hills to scare the crap out of anyone. The dishwasher in my unit has been puting crusty stuff all over my dishes since I moved in so I have been handwashing them for the past 8 months. There is a fitness room but only a couple of the machines actually work. Kind of petty but there is no bathroom or fountain in the fitness room and the light hardly ever works unless you push a key into the switch to turn it on. If there is ever any kind of disagreement outside the neighbors literally bring out their patio chairs to watch and there are constant loud parties all night long. There is absolutely no extra parking for anyone visiting. Anytime I have had people over despite my embarassment of them walking past cat (tons of feral cats in the complex) and dog poop and tons of cigarette butts and trash they had to park 3 or 4 buildings down. Going to the pool area is kindof a mix between visiting Kentucky and Compton. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! The rent is lower than some in the area but there IS a reason for that. It was $299 to move in but was just dropped to $99. It'll be interesting to see who that brings in.

THIS COMPLEX IS HELL - DON'T MOVE HERE
During our first few years here, this place was great, nice, quiet, well-kept, great maintenance and office staff. ALL OF THE PROBLEMS started when this complex was sold about 5 years ago to an L.A. based corporation. The office staff does NOT listen to complaints - EVER. It is always the same..."we will take care of it" - but nothing is ever done! We recently brought an issue to their attention - that someone is dealing drugs from his apartment. Ironically, we were told that they try very hard to keep drug dealers out of these apartments. Yeah, right. Their actions spoke louder than words. They did NOTHING! Here we are - the tenants complaining to them about this expecting them to do something about it and instead the office personnel dropped the ball back into our laps, making it OUR problem, making it OUR responsibility to do something about it, telling us WE HAD TO PROVE IT and get it documented by the police, whom we had already twice contacted about the problem! And the police did nothing also! WE ARE THE TENANTS. MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ACTING ON THIS, NOT US, WHICH IS WHY WE BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION! I feel we did what we had to and management let us down - for something this serious! They also changed the allowed dog size from 30 lbs, which was already too big for these small apartments to 50 lbs. And there are MANY tenants who have 1, 2 or 3 dogs in their apartments and many which are way above the 50 lb limit. Because of this, noise has increased and bugs have increased in their numbers. And halls smell like dog poop and so does the property. So if you love the sounds of barking dogs at all hours of the day and night and the constant smell of dog crap drifting into your apartment from all of the dog waste lingering all over the grounds, which is rarely ever picked up, except by a rare few pet owners, then by all means, move here, this is your kind of place. Animals are supposed to be registered with management but most aren't. Tenants get the animals or move them into their apartments after they have already moved into the apartment and they never let management know. So welcome to WildHorse Estate Apt. Homes the newest animal shelter in town. The bugs are nasty and bad here. We have everything from spiders, roaches, HUGE water bugs, crickets and other large bugs that I had never even seen before (before moving here) to tiny little bugs crawling around baseboards and in the light fixtures. And I keep a very clean home and still have this problem. If you have neighbors who are messy or have pets the problem with the bugs will be worse. I have to buy a can of Raid every single month. Appliances are old and inefficient and you will have high electric bills here. We live in a one bedroom apartment and have an electric bill of about $150 to $170 each month in the summer - which is ridiculous for a couple like us who conserve electricity and water, etc. We lose all of our AC and heat out of old doors and windows which are not tightly sealed and have gaps when closed. Our AC has stopped working 4 years in a row and this year, the 5th year, they finally replaced the unit (or so they say) after having 3 maintenance men telling us it was working fine telling us we didn't know what we were talking about and the 4th maintenance man telling us straight out it was a bad unit and needed replacing. We went a month without AC in the worse month of the year this year because of their lack of knowledge. You get people who water their plants on their patios who let it drip down onto your property. I have been pissed on twice by barking dogs who are left on the patios everyday while their owners are at work so that they have no place to pee except on the patio which then drips down through the floor onto your patio or worse yet - onto you if you happen to be out there! Maintenance takes FOREVER to come even for serious complaints. We have cracks in our ceiling and walls where water poured down during flooding incidents from an upstairs unit, which we can tell will collapse if we get another flood. A lot of the old maintenance crew who cared and worked hard under the supervision of Anthony were great. But they were fired and some quit when they saw how crappy things were being run by the new owners and management. Parking is a joke. Visitors steal your "RESERVED" covered parking spots and other tenants take the very few open visitors spots just so they can leave their reserved spots open for their own visitors or for their second vehicle. The only thing management takes pride in is the upkeep of the landscaping and the upkeep of their office which was renovated this past year, when it had been renovated just 18 months earlier! They keep these things updated to make a good first impression and to draw in the tenants who don't realize what a nightmare it is to live here until it's too late and they have signed a lease and move in. These apartments are NOT as large as some web sites are advertising them as being. You get more footage on the 2nd and 3rd floors. These apartments are small - very small! As for space/storage - it is almost non-existant with ONLY ONE closet inside of the one bedroom apts. and one outside on the patio/balcony. These are the smallest apartments I have ever seen or been in. Some fool decided to build this complex with fireplaces in the top floor units so you have to worry about careless tenants starting a fire in the building or by those thoughtless, inconsiderate idiots using charcoal and propane grills and barbecues on their balconies, which is against fire codes. Yes, people are storing charcoal and dangerous propane tanks in their apartments here and using barbecues on their narrow balconies despite fire codes and rules to the contrary. And the fact that three buildings have gone up in flames since I've been here only deepens the concerns. The problem is the new owners lowered the rents way too low and are making too many special move in offers. It is attracting inner city trash and drug dealers and apartment hoppers who move from year to year to whichever complex is offering the lowest price. In 8 years we have had 10 tenants move into the apartment above us! The BIGGEST PROBLEM IS MANAGEMENT'S FAILURE TO RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS AND THEIR LACK OF ENFORCEMENT OF THEIR OWN RULES! This type of management is what draws in the drug dealers and all of the problem makers. They love complexes with management like this who don't give a crap about anything. It gives them the freedom to do whatever they want on the property, legal or not, allowed or not. If you love drug dealers; pot and meth odors seeping into your apartment from other units; blaring music; barking dogs at all hours of the day and night; aggressive dogs never reigned in by their owners; non-caring management; paying an unfair equally "SHARED" water bill even if you conserve like we do but have neighbors who are water hogs; if you like run down apartments; run down appliances that are so old they should be chucked into the trash; dog poop littering everywhere on the property; living in a complex which has become a zoo because of the number of dogs now here. If you love: bugs galore crawling into your home from around the dishwashers, under sinks and openings around pipes and through the bathroom vent; if you love listening to the sounds of skateboards bumping, banging and rolling on the pavement despite the fact they are supposed to be banned from the property; if you love unsupervised kids throwing rocks and balls at the walls of the building of your apartment and near your vehicles and windows and vandalizing the property; if you love tenants racing their vehicles around the parking lots and screeching their tires as they drive through, then PLEASE come to WildHorse Estates. This and much more can be yours for $800 a month or less for newcomers. You wouldn't expect this kind of crap in a complex located in such a beautiful desireable area. Welcome to HELL

Probably one of the worst apartments I lived in
You would think that considering the nice area it is in that it would be a decent apartment, but that is not the case at all. I believe I had better management in much worse parts of town than I did at Wildhorse. My A/C broke 2 summers in a row. This past summer they refused to send a licensed HVAC company out to look at it and refused to let me have my own company get on the roof to look at it also. Leaving me without A/C for about 2 weeks in the middle of summer and with a sick daughter. They are now sending me to collections because I had to break my lease due to this situation but they broke the lease by refusing to give me cold air in the middle of the las vegas summer. Not to mention my power bill was nearly $200 in the summer for a small 2 bedroom and they said that is normal! Half the maintenance men were complete idiots and didn't know what the hell they were doing. I suggest never renting here.

Worst 15 months of my life
horrible place to live. the only reason i moved here was because they allowed big dogs and it was in a "nice area". haha. the cops pretty much lived there since there was crime going on constantly. saw people smoking meth in their car. some lady walked outside naked like she didnt even realize she was naked. NOT KIDDING! weird stuff. no one picked up after their dogs. parking sucked. and now to get started on the people in the office and the maintenance staff. the office girls are the stupidest girls i have ever met. they dont know anything and when you walk in they are too busy talking about what their friend was wearing last night to even realize you are standing there. good luck getting maintenance to EVER fit you into their busy schedule to fix something in your apartment. and believe me, you WILL need things fixed. the toilets overflow very easily. our water bill was ridiculous cuz the worker guys who were there decided to leave on a faucet thing right behind our apartment. check for leaks and you will be busy all day. always smelled like weed. smallest apartments ever and horrible closet space!! i really cant believe how small the apartment was. it was teeny tiny. bad choice for 2 people and a dog. still a bad choice even for just one person. DONT MOVE HERE.

If you like Roaches and the smell of Meth you'll love wildhorse estates
My lease cannot end soon enough. I should have known that I was in for a bad deal when I walked into the rental office to sign my lease. Another tenant was in the middle of a argument with one of the associates, but I figured that it was something that the tenant did. I have never been more wrong in my life. As soon as I gave them my first months rent I couldn't get service if my life depended on it. My water heater was leaking before I moved in and for a week after. I got stuck with the bill. I've submitted 5 work orders to fix my light swithces in two different rooms, and after 9 months they have yet the be fixed. As I went to pay my final bill I found out that my 30 day notice was not submitted and the person that I gave my 30 day notice to never compleeted the paper work. She has sence been promoted and no longer works here. I am now getting charged for an extra 2 weeks rent. This is all on top of the bug problem due to messy and drugged up neighbors. Neighbors that leave bags of dog dropping on their patio for weeks at a time. (at least it covers up the smell of Meth and Pot) In short if you like druggies bug infestations, and have a few exra $100.00 to waste a month this is the place for you.

it is what you expect in apartments
I have lived here for 6 years now and in two apartments. the first one we had to move out because the roof leaked all the way to me on the main floor . but they moved us into a new apartment and fast. yes the applances are really old but they are putting new ones into apartments now so new lease families are lucky. (old appliances work well just are not as pretty). they come and fix problems quickly. I never had to wait more then a day.i feel very safe with the maintanace men in my home all are friendly. the children are a big problem here they really have no where to play and no parents to watch them .they are in the middle or the road or in the parking lots. we have to ask them many times to not play by our cars.walls are thin and windows really need to be updates. security sucks here he does nothing .they used to do noise complains but not anymore. if you need security you can call the cops and then he will show up.most residents are quiet but if you do have the next door party people the apt staff will do nothing about it . pools are okay and the fitness center and business center is new. they do have a problem with people breaking into the vending machines . they also had a problem with people stealing cars about a year ago all and all management turn over is pretty bad. now the office people seem to be on track. this is a big apartment complex which is trying to do alot of improvments. it has it's downs but the price for the area is not to bad. i have been here a long time and feel pretty safe. get to know the people around you most are nice and will look after your things if you look after theirs.and if the apartments will not do anything to the kids or the party people i always try to talk to them myself. it has always worked .

This place is beautiful!!
Okay so I was reading the other comments and I don't know if they live in the same complex as me. Well I lived there for 2 1/2 years. They went through a rough time but only with the other manager, prior to Noel, was never there. Once Noel came on board it's been a smooth sail. They just moved back into the remodeled office and it looks great. All the office staff is very bubbly. The Assistant Manager/ Accounting Rebecca is awesome she's been there forever and knows everything. I guess you can say I have a great relationship with the staff and I feel I know them personaly. Maintanace is good. I know they are overwhelmed at times but what can you expect for a large apartment complex; but they will get the job done in a timely matter. Did I mention the area? The area is great you have everything you can possibly imagine within 3 miles from you. Now had I not purchased a home I think I would have been a life time resident!

Not really worth it.
I've lived at these apartments for more than a year, and I've been continually reassured that improvements will be made in the future. The buildings are falling apart, the concrete is cracked and stained black from traffic, the interiors are dilapidated and the appliances are very outdated and have to be replaced constantly. This wouldn't be such a problem, but it sometimes takes the office weeks to send out a repairman. Letters of warning will be issued to tenants that have potted plants on the balcony, for upsetting 'all residents' enjoyment', yet the landscaping is poorly done, the sprinklers are often broken and spray the cars and street. The grass and bushes are dead in front of my apartment and there is nothing but mud that smells like sewage by my neighbor's door. Bugs are also a huge problem, with ants, black widows, and roaches being plentiful. Perhaps one day this place will be suitable, as I've been told repairs are being made. But right now it isn't.

don't move in!
where do i begin? we have been here for 5 months and regret the move everyday. the pool had human crap in it the other day, the maintenance man was just arrested a few weeks ago, and the teens run crazy! the model they showed us seemed nice until we moved into ours. we pay over $1000.00 a month and our dryer and a/c don't even work half the time. does that make sense? it is a total rip off. like i said previously, the staff is worthless. the maintenance has no idea what they are doing and the "desk girls" are a bunch of air heads. please, please dont move here. especially if you have kids. oh yea- did i also mention the drug pushing that goes on constantly down at the pool? it's amazing the cops are only here 10 times a week....they should just move in.

Out Dated!
I am coming to the end of my 7 months lease at Wild Horse and thank God! First off, my apartment is so out dated it's not funny! The cabinets in the kitchen and bath are worn down to bare wood...no finish! The counter tops have tons of deep knife cuts. The carpet is worn out and dirty! In my short time there I had a fire sprinkler leaking outside my bathroom for about four or five days before they fixed it. And when the finally fixed it, they for some unknown reason turned my A/C off and about killed my cat b/c of the heat! It was over 100 degrees in my apt! (I was out of town for 4 days on business while this occured)My exhaust fan has never worked, even though I've told them 3 times. It took two months to get a microwave installed (even thought it should have came with one to begin with) There are tons of kids and teens that frequently cause trouble. They pulled the fire alarm for the building at like 2am and the wonderful security they have just stood around with a cup of coffee! The workout facility is out dated as well and several pieces of equipment our broken (still work, but parts are broken). Don't let the adds or the model fool you. These are not luxury apartments...and the claim of stainless steel appliances...yeah right maybe in the model! If you're considering this place, keep looking!!

6 months with a roof that leaked!
The maintence staff do not know what they are doing. Mangement lied to us on several occasions about when our roof would be fixed. Living here has been an extremely unpleasent experience. I would not recommned this place to anyone!
