DON'T SIGN A LEASE HERE!
Since the day we moved in, this apartment has been nothing but trouble. Upon move in, the carpet was still wet, there was broken glass in the kitchen, rotting food and hair everywhere, etc. The gates are frequently broken to where you can not even get into the complex. There is only one trash dumpster so if you don't live directly across from it, you have to drive your trash to the dumpster. Management has never followed up on any problems we have. Ants run rampid in all the units. Speaking to the staff about anything is like speaking to a brick wall! Our visitors still can't access the gate to enter. Parking is awful. The list goes on and on. Save yourself time and a major headache and don't sign a lease here!

Pro and Con
Crown Chase is in a very convenient location. It has beautiful landscaping. The staff is nice. Maintenance is quick. Once a month they have a supper for all the residents which was very nice. I lived in the front near the office, so that's where I parked, because as others have said, parking is tough. The floorplans were excellent. My kingsized bed fit easily in the 2nd bedroom with plenty of room for dressers and computer. (I let my 2 kids have the master bedroom) The person who mentioned having possible allergies to mold is probably right. The windows on the NW corner all leaked and had black mold on them after a rain. Repeated attempts by maintenance to reseal just didn't work. Made me wonder what was growing in the walls after all that moisture. Except for the mold, it was great.

Beware
If you are planning to move into this apartment complex, take note, parking is the worst. My car was vanadalized, when reported to office staff, their response was<br>"yeah, we've had alot of that here lately". "it's probably some of the kids". Furthermore, while living there I was continuously sick with colds, sinus infections and sore throats. Before this I had been to the doctor twice in the last few years for physicials. My doctor felt perhaps mold might be the problem..........<br>Once I moved out- I have not been sick.... You decide.

Okay, but not great
I lived here for 9 months when I first moved to Tulsa. I would have signed a 12 month lease, but they informed me my lease could not end at the end of the year. Parking is only really good if you pay the extra to get a garage AND get lucky enough to have the garage close. Otherwise, if you're in an apartment near the pool or the center drive, forget about parking if you come in very late. You best bet is to live on the opposite end from the office. I came back, just because I didn't have enough time to find another apartment. Now, at Christmas time, the staff has developed a habit of working whatever hours they feel like. Usually, that means they're closed by 5.30, and they look at you like you're rude if you try to retrieve a package between 5.30 and 6. (Keep in mind the posted hours don't have the office closed until 6.) It makes it a huge disadvantage if you're expecting an important package. Maintanence is the one area they've excelled at; I will give them that. Fast and usually fixed quickly. However, they will not contact you with a problem that might affect your apartment, such as when the apartment next door flooded out, and I was out of town. I came back to find my bathroom and closet covered in water, a problem they obviously knew about, since there was carpet from another apartment in the breezeway. They're TERRIBLE about communicating anything important, but they will send you an newsletter every month that says nothing. And don't expect them to enforce "no parking" zones. People are constantly parking right in front of the breezeway to my apartment, but the complex won't do anything about it. The gates, either front or back, are usually broken, so you don't really need to worry about gate codes. So, be really careful at night, as the lighting outside is pretty ridiculous. If you're thinking about walking to the mailbox (by the office) to check mail, you best take a flashlight.

Good Living
I have been very pleased with my stay at Crown Chase. It is a well kept property and very cat friendly (even with small dogs allowed). Like others, no noise can be heard other than occassional running water. The floor layouts are great and there is plenty of storage space. <br>Great location near the grocery store, restaurants, and the Riverwalk. Very friendly staff that went out of their way to meet my move-in requiremnents. <br>Highly recommended!

Its a trap
To move out of this apartment you need to give 2 months notice in advance. Even if you want to go month to month you still have to give 2 months notice. What is the point in going month to month then. The very purpose of going month to month is because of uncertainity. In an uncertian situation how can one give 2 months notice? And if you want to break the lease, say you gets laid off (I asked if there is any excpetion if one gets laid off.. they said no) you still have to give 2 months notice and then pay another 2 months so a total of 4 months of rent you have to pay. But there are other apartments like the Stonehaven villas where they have an option where if u get laid off or you buy a house you are excempted from the lease. So why coming here.. well if you are very certain of your stay here then you are welcome to check it out. Personally I will never go back to the leinbacch companies.. They have soo many traps set up to take your money.....so beware!!!!!!<br><br>Don't get fooled by the gate... they just have the gate for name sake.. most of the time the gates are open. There is a gate for people to enter near the mail boxes. The number lock on that gate most of the time does not function, and so people leave it open most of the time. So safety wise I don't think it is any better than an ungated community.

Great Community
I have lived in 2 other apartment complexes in Tulsa, and this is by far the best one. It is peaceful and quiet, and very friendly. It has all age groups living here, but all are friendly and nice to one another. There are many young people like myself living here, but all act very mature and no super wild partying or no skanks around or anything. Everyone here actually seems to care that they live in a good community and wants to keep it that way. Floorplans are awesome! Layout of the land and vegetation is wonderful. This is the quietest place you could live. This place has almost 300 units, but it is as quiet as a small neighborhood. We have only needed maintenance for a couple small details after moving in but they responded quickly and did a great job. All staff are very friendly and even remembered my name even when I only lived here less than a month. I have now lived here for about 6 months and they are still very friendly to me, and still remember our names when we have to o get mail or anything else. Highly Recomended to anyone looking for a nice cozy neighborhood setting to live in.

Worst apartment and company that I experienced!!!!
After living at the Crown Chase apartments, I know that anything that affilates with them would make me go the other direction. My 6 mos lease was miserable. I got a bad deal from the staff, management and even the owner of Crown Chase, "The Leinbach Company". I am a person of integrity and all I asked was for Mr. Ed to call me to discuss my problems. I sent him a letter and he would not respond. His office only told me he is busy. I paid well to live at Crown Chase and I got a bad deal. I moved in February and moved out in April 2004. I had to continued to pay because my credit is important to me but I had to move because they would not take care of the problem that I was having there. I have stayed in apartments before. This was the worst. I have to recommend apartments to new comers thru my job but I can rest assure you the Leinbach company will never get a recommendation from me. Please check things out and pay attention to what surveys have to say. No one will help you if you have a problem from apartment staff to the owner of the company....lousy!!!!!

Awesome
Leinbach company has done an excellent job of making this community an exceptional place to live. Great landscaping, and great floorplans. The staff is really great and is very attentive to the needs of thier people. My apartment is in a courtyard facing a really nice community vegetable garden. Unlike other apartment experinces I ve had (see vintage on hell) Ive never heard any of my neighbors execpt the noise of the water now and then. <br>The biggest issue that ive seen living here is the parking. I ended up getting a garage so I wouldnt have to hike in if I came in late. <br>Otherwise, if you can afford it (they have awesome specials sometimes) and can pass thier application check...by all means LIVE HERE! :o) <br>

The pros outweigh the cons
Having lived in this complex for over 2 years I have seen the whole gambit of problems that can arise when living in an apartment. <br> <br>I was in the complex for 2 months when my car was broken into. The theives bent apart the bars in the fence to get in. The complex could not do anything more to protect my car. <br> <br>I have had to call for maintainence 3 times in 2 years and they have always come out the same day or the following day for my non-emergency problems. <br> <br>Parking is a problem and is not really inforced by the management. <br> <br>Rent was raised each time I renewed my lease. It is now less expensive to buy a house in the area than live here. I will not be living here for much longer as I am buying a house.

Very Nice
This is one of my favorite apartments. They are a little high in price but are good if you get a deal. <br>The area they are in is by a park, the riverside trail, a walmart neighorhood in front. <br>The school district is Jenks! So if you have kids its very nice. <br>And no I´m not an employee of crown chase, I am just very pleased with my stay!! <br> <br>
