My experience at Walton Heights has been a bit mixed. On the one hand, the location is very convenient, and my unit had a nice layout. However, there are a few issues potential renters should be aware of. The biggest challenge for me has been the lack of elevator and I live on 3rd floor of the building. Additionally, my living room and bedroom and don't have lights installed. I haven't been able to ask the leasing management about that since I have been busy settling into my work and to this new home.

Unfair huge rent increases. I agreed to pay .onthly rent plus gS,electric. Pet fee.Then you unfairly added a flt rate and a fee for operations.You and Berger changed the initial deal.Yoi maintain a If you don't like it ,MOVE attitude. I like it here.Im too old to move.I surveyed friends and no one had these huge increases. Elderly and do not like being taken advantage

The staff at the 3 Berger communities I've lived over the part 5 years have always been amazing! They go above and beyond to make living here a pleasure. After renting the past 25 years, Berger has been the best management team by far! Always quick responses to the few issues that arise. And always courteous and helpful, explaining things and what they're doing, not just repairing.

It's a very nice community everyone seems friendly the townhouse is beautiful this is my second time living here the office staff are wonderful it's very quiet neighbors are nice the gym is a nice area to workout in

Rent is fairly high but it's worth it if everything works correctly that is not the case here I was just really disappointed on the way the appliances, the toilets, sinks, and central air conditioner work

Experience is good. Landlord is helpful. Mail is there and laundry is accessible. Easy to take out trash. Balcony is a nice bonus to the unit. Room is big and spacey. Kitchen has some appliances that could use upgrading.

We absolutely love living at walton heights. It is nice and quiet. The staff is so, very welcoming and helpful if any problems are to arise. Living here has been a dream of mine, and i am so thankful to finally be part of such a great community in the great city of altoona, pa.

Move in was super easy and everyone was so nice. We moved from out of state so we didn't know what to expect. We felt welcomed from the first moment. The apartment was clean and everything was in working order. Overall it was a great experience

The neighbors are nice. And people are really nice to. They are friendly and if you need any help or there for you. It's a nice place to walk and the kids have no problem being outside and I can play their games.

The amenities included are great! We love that there's a gym open 24/7 as well as a dog park. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It was very easy to work with everyone for moving in. Maintenance is available whenever which is nice.

I have loved living here. I feel very safe. The maintenance staff is so awesome. They always respond promptly and do a very good job with whatever issue I have. I would recommend living here to anyone who may be looking for a place to live.

Nice place to live. Trash, lawn care and snow removal done on a timely manner. Nice neighborhood school across the street . Close to different restaurants and grocery stores and shopping. Has a gym you can use.

Maintenance and office staff incredible. Be aware of limitations of outside use. Price wise it's not bad. Close to main roads, convenient to shopping, restaurants, schools and medical care. Off street parking a bonus.

So far the maintenance and office staff have been super helpful. The unit we reside in is clean and if any problem arises they try to fix immediately. Like to see capital projects continue to be expedited for all units so they keep with the high standards they are trying to keep.

It is a nice and quiet neighborhood. I enjoy the dog park and gym. The gym is very nice. the bedrooms are spacious. The air works really well. I love that I have a patio to sit on as well. I love all the storage area.

The community itself is good. Would like to see more improvements to apartments that are old and not be charged over $1300 after fees. Walton Heights makes more than enough money that they don't have to continue increasing rent each year.

Overall I am very happy living here. The carpets are very nice in my apartment. Also they replaced my washer with no issues. It's very quiet here and I have no noise problems. The bedrooms have plenty of room, also.
