This place has been the absolute worst! Staff will avoid you, not return calls or emails. If something breaks or is leaking they just leave the water their to air dry and grow mold! Slow service, rude office staff, and the property itself is not taken care of very well. The new paint they did they missed spots painted over things just half assed everything

Everyone was really nice. They adjusted to the last minute change in move in date for us. Anything that needed to be fixed during the first week of our move in was taken care of quickly then expected.

Apartments are ok seeing some improvments over the last 2 years. But as of location and district I feel its way over priced regardless that other places close by are similar price for an extra 60 to 100 dollars you could live in a very nice area with great schools. We moved here because how cheap it was and it was cheap enough for us to live for a couple years while we got our new house situated but trying to be charged 1000 or more to live in apartment community in Chichester just isn't right. We moved in at 860 or 890 and that seemed like a much fairer price range and seems rent goes up yearly

The apartments are great, its the office and maintenance that needs alot of work. After calling everyday for 2 weeks and then finally going into the office, I finally got my service call completed. I had to talk to peggy to get anything resolved.

For the most part its been up and down, it seems like the new ownership has been taking the right steps to get things going in a positive direction. That being said there have been times in the recent past when I haven't been able to get into the office or get anyone on the thats pretty frustrating when you're locked out of your apartment.

The move was easy and the office staff were great. The community is a nice blend of people and everyone wants a peaceful community. The office always has something fun for families or anyone to do which is great! Bonus they have a pool but it cost for an annual pass which no one told me! Make sure you don't get pushed into an upgrade because I don't feel it's worth the money! Also check everything make sure it works!

Crystal, who works in the office, is amazing. She has been so great to work with this whole year. She helped me decide to live there, she made the move easy, and she has helped we communicate with maintenance. The office is always very easy to work with. Helped me get back into my apartment when I locked myself out.

If you haven't looked at Willowbrook lately, please look again soon! We've lived here close to 10 years. Although the early years left little to be desired, the Berger Management team lead by Rob Eshelman has done wonders over the last 18 months or so, and their commitment to the community and residents is very obvious (Lynn and Crystal - thank you both, too!). The team is extremely responsive and hardworking on our behalves, and they're equally eager to draw great neighbors into our community. Again, please take a second look soon. You've never seen this Willowbrook before!

This is a very quiet, clean, and friendly community. It is nearby to a school and multiple stores. It it also close to a major highway. I recommend this community to friends and acquaintances as I know they will be happy here as I have for so many years.

When I was in high school and college, this was the place to live. Now, it's like a concrete trailer park. How many noisy dogs & kids can you pack into a complex? say goodbye to security. Going downhill quickly. It's a shame.

I've lived here for a little over a year now and I can say it was a rough start at first. But ever since management has changed and Rob is in the office, there has been steady improvements in regards to customer service, property management, and the urgency of updating our buildings and apartments. I had a major problem with the new windows that were put into my unit. They were beautiul at first and then once the wind came, it was a disaster. Once I got into contact with Rob, he made sure that all was fixed. It was a process in itself to actually fix the windows but it got done. I literally wouldn't be renewing my lease here if it wasn't for Rob. The man is awesome and he keeps his word. He also is very honest and realistic about problems that arise. Willowbrook is lucky to have him.

I've lived in this apartment for 6 months now contrary to some of the maintenance reviews that you may have read before this I am very happy with the maintenance department. I moved into an apartment that was owned evidently buy some wild and crazy guys. Well things break down slowly after they haven't been maintained when an apt been owned and not rented at Willowbrook. But once you rent an apartment at Willowbrook the maintenance crew starting with Rob who answers the phone or Crystal, you are sure to get the message over to the maintenance crew in a jiffy. And the maintenance man or like having your brothers or your brother in laws who know how to do everything come in and fix whatever is wrong perfectly. I've had the experience with will and Dan and Dale and if you had to pay for a plumber or a carpenter to come into your house to do work like they do you couldn't afford it. They leave the place spotless. The job is done better than the Masters do, and their personalities make you feel completely relaxed in their presence. This is very important for a woman. They're kind and nothing seems to be too big or too small of a job. We all live in A building and we're very happy here. They are another reason why we all feel safe here. And I have friends and other buildings who feel the same way. So thanks guys for always being there for us sometimes a brother in laws aren't they're too busy... Luckily you're not!!

I have Been here for three years I have seen this place go from great to worst, But now it is one of the best places I have lived in an apartment. They change management they now have an very effective Manger name Lynn who say if she is going to do something it will get done from fixing any problem's, the grounds and every thing else are better kept. Over all its a great place to live.

I have lived here for a very long time. I cannot remember the move in year exactly but I think my guess is correct. Previously the apartments were owned by a company that didn't do any upgrades they cut back services over and over and before they sold they let anyone lease. I always liked the people in the office but getting things fixed wasn't timely. Now they are owned by Berger and things are getting slowly better again. They are weeding out the bad apples again that rent. The non-smoking policy is being addressed we have some people that chain smoke that must not know how to read. The large breed dogs that are not allowed and the breeds that aren't allowed are being addressed along with the piles of poop. It looks like they are fixing safety issues first putting in egress windows and what is needed to bring the building up to code like new smoke detectors. Being able to pay your rent on line is awesome but make sure you tell them if you paid or may need to pay late because they will work with you. My only challenge is I know a lot about fixing things and this can rub some of the people the wrong way. The managers have never been upset about me sending them emails or walking in when I'm angry and letting it loose. They take a little longer sometimes to do things and I find using the portal to make maintenance requests is best otherwise it may not happen. Lots of changes going on for the better, from what I can tell and with changes there can be delays in services I get this because I have worked in a similar industry. I think the pool should be free or converted into a fitness center. The storage units need to be made available and I know they are working on this. I'm hoping 2016 will be a big improvement because there have been a lot of promises and I hope they follow through, I know they are trying and that is what I expect you can only try to do your best and hope to accomplish this.

I've lived here in willowbrook for 8 months now and it has been a living hell to say the least. The people don't care about the buildings the grounds there is trash everywhere constantly, I found razor blades and light bulbs just sitting outside in the grass who's is unsafe for my puppy who gets into everything. It's supposed to be non smoking but the hallways in our building always reek of cigarette smoke. They seem to only Inforce rules to some people and not others like our neighbor has 4 cats when your only alowed 2 pets per apartment. People are outside screaming constantly, my fiancé got his truck broken into. If you need something fixed do it yourself because maintenance never shows up to fix it for you. The staff is nice until you move in then they are very mean and rude to you. Go somewhere else we thought it was a good move because it was so inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Absolute disgust.

My experience with Willowbrook has been one to remember. The people in the leasing office have been nothing but helpful throughout all of my questions and concerns and problems. The people who work there are nothing but kind and very appoachable. I have had some rough times with things needing to be fixed, and they have been right there. Maintenance has been so professional and helpful. Overall, I feel more than comfortable and happy at this complex.

I moved to Willowbrook Apartments in the beginning of this year. The move in process went very smoothly. The office staff was knowledgeable and courteous. At move in I was pleasantly surprised with the shape of my apartment. It was actually NICER than the model that I was shown. We did a walk through that made me feel very comfortable with the move in. I had a great experience with any maintenance request that I put in, and the maintenance men on site were always kind and explained what they were fixing. I recently got married and wanted to move into my Fiancés home. My lease was not up, but the ladies in the office did everything that they could to ensure that the lease breakage process was smooth and easy. I really appreciated all that was done for me, and truly enjoyed my time there. I was sad to leave, but my fiancé owns his home so it made sense for me to move in with him.

I cannot think of one positive thing to say about Willowbrook Condo/Apartments. I lived there for one very long year (7/2014 to 6/2015). It is supposed to be a smoke free environment but all you smell is stale smoke when you open the front door. Maintenance is the biggest joke, no matter what the problem they are 'waiting on a part' which can take up to 2 months to come. I had no a/c for the last 2 months I lived there. Drugs are sold everywhere, seems everyone has a key to the front doors regardless of whether they live there or not. The kitchen and bath in my unit was so worn/scratched/marked that it never looked clean they need to do major remodeling. The hallways are dirty and badly in need of a paint job. Parking was always a challenge for me the parking sticker rule was never enforced quite often I had to park in a different lot and hike to my apartment which was a challenge in the winter since they didn't do much to treat the ice on the driveways and steps. In the winter the outside lights only came on early on the buildings you can see when your first drive in the others didn't come on till 7pm or after. Read your lease VERY carefully they have a very sleazy bookkeeping system, you may think your lease is up on a certain date but you can end up having to pay extra after you move out with their bookkeeping. The price may seem right but believe me and all the other reviews listed here . . . it's not worth it you will definitely regret it.

I've lived at Willowbrook for 1 very long year. The maintenance is slow and usually need to come back several times to fix the problem. The office staff is friendly that is all I can say about them. Half the cars in the parking lot do not have parking stickers on them and many times I've had to park in an alternate lot. Outside lights do not come on early enough in the winter so navigating the lot in ice/snow can be treacherous. Rent may be cheaper but still not worth it.
