She ensured that my requests were fulfilled and even though there was a delay with some paperwork she was transparent and communicated effectively. Over all its a nice community, buildings are maintained and they are making upgrades to them. One thing I wish they had was more secure front entrances. Other then that I never had any issues with the place or management

Collapsing Mess

All these units flood, they're jacking prices to $1,900 without warning for resigning or new leases. There was a recent shooting and half the complex is being swallowed by a sink hole. NEVER live here

The best aspect of Willowbrook apartments are the summers and the pool area. This is a time you're able to get to know your neighbors which is very hard to do in the winter. The maintenance staff is friendly and professional. The trash and hallways are the biggest issue living here. Lastly, the cost to live here is very expensive and schools aren't the best.

If I could go back in time I would have never moved here. When I first moved here the front office and maintenance staff was awful. Extremely rude and did nothing. They have since hired new office staff and maintenance, they're much better (professionally) but still takes multiple complaints before things are addressed. Maintenance guys are very nice but they just put bandaids over bullet holes, which is not their fault because I know that's what they're being told to do. The rent is too high for how basic this complex truly is. Take your money elsewhere because we are certainly in the process of doing so. 3 years has been long enough.

There is no park close for me to take my child. The complex has a dog park but no playground for the children that live in the Willowbrook complex. I also feel like the front doors should have locks so that people that don't live in the building don't have access

The move in experience was great it is a little noisy being as though the laundry room is across the hall and the neighbors slam the outside door but coming from where I was that's not a problem for me parking is right outside my kitchen window and it's 10 minutes away from my job so I'm excited to be here I appreciate the rental office they were so nice and move in was quick and easy

I have been renting for 10 years easily the worst!

1. The unit looked like makeup on a pig. You could see spackle patches, the walls were lumpy, ceiling cracked, floor was soft in the bathroom, AC did not work, had water leaks through walls, paint had dried drip marks everywhere, and air units caused major breathing issues. 2. There were constantly cops due to physical fights with other tenants, domestic abuse, abuse of minors, drug addicts, and aggressive dog breeds that were not supposed to be allowed. 3. I used the patient portal to pay rent and when I went to pay last month's rent before moving the portal said final payment, but then a month later got an email stating that I was late on my payment. I found out that they charged me an odd amount of $77.22 on another payment of rent even though I already paid my final rent according to the portal and late fees are only supposed to be $50. Therefore, I contacted Athena Foxworth the manager asking for an explanation, but no response. Also, I have never been late on a payment in my life. 4. The rent was being raised to $375, so I decided to notify them over 60 days in advance that I would not renew. She reached out to schedule the pre-move out inspection, and she told me this had to be done at least a month before the lease ended. Which was a lie because it was not in the lease agreement. 5. Finally, I am suing them for holding my security deposit that I was assured that I would get in full 3 months ago.

It has had a lot of ups and downs with management and the people who have moved into this community. The best thing we have received is the for park we just wish there was more than one or it was a lot bigger so more dogs can enjoy themselves.

a lot depends on what building you live. Fortunately, I've had pretty good neighbors and my building is quiet with mostly middle-aged people. Upper Chi is a good place to live, and everything is convenient as far as location. You will not find people hanging on corners etc. and as far as I know, crime rate is very very low. Even some of the best citities have some type of crime.

Too small and not enough storage space for the amount of money they charging for rent. Not enough parking either and there is only one dumpster by my building when there should be two. No park for the kids is crazy, but we have a park for the dogs

No Ac during a heat wave. Very uncomfortable during the day. Been here a month and we have no air conditioning except for window units which is very inconsistent. I will not be recommending this community and we will not renew our lease.

I love it. Maintenance is right on time and they complete what needs to be done. Neighbors are shady but other than that we love it here. The dog park is awesome until the tree fell on it. It is still not fixed but praying it will be soon . I also think there should be a children's park .
