The pros of living in the community are the neighbors in my building and the maintenance workers on the grounds. I haven't had an issue with either and I'm lucky that those I am in contact with have been courteous and professional. However, it is a large apartment complex so I can't speak to all buildings and tenant experiences as a whole. The apartments are standard with not a lot of updating. After I moved in I noticed little things like the dishwasher not being cleaned before move-in, holes from wall hangings not being filled, and within a month the white tub in the bathroom started flaking after daily use and showed signs of multiple layers of paint. The hallways and carpets of the halls and building are of lesser quality. There are deep old stains and musty smells. While there appears to be a cleaning crew every 1 or 2 months to clean the carpets they look like they need to be replaced. Trash and items are constantly littering the halls even a day(s) after being cleaned. Trash is constantly littering the parking lots and green spaces outside. One of the perks of moving in a year ago was the dog park which appeared clean, safe, and easily accessible. Other tenants will constantly not pick up after their pets and the bins were overflowing with filled pet waste bags. On several occasions there were questionable feces with blood and or mucus in them left in the park for other pets to walk in which could be a pet health risk. Several weeks back the dog park was vandalized and the double gated entrance was completely destroyed causing it be unusable for pets to use off leash. Since moving in a year ago, utilities are constantly turned off whether it is power or water for reoccurring issues and more often than not it happens at random without warning. There are also a ridiculous amount of different kinds of inspections that appear to happen every few weeks or so. I've lived in apartment complexes my entire adult life and understand needed annual inspections from the county, etc. but the fact that management constantly is in and out of tenants apartments is extremely frustrating. These are peoples homes random people are walking into. With children, single women, and pets needing adequate time to prepare. Management is not consistent with how they alert when inspections are occurring. Sometimes it is posted on paper outside of main building entrances, other times it will post a few days prior to an inspection to the tenant portal or personal email. I've enabled my tenant online portal to send texts to my phone but only receive alerts pertaining to maintenance tickets I have requested. So if email isn't checked and if the portal is only checked when paying rent or requesting maintenance tenants constantly aren't prepared for reoccurring inspections until random people are in your apartment or at your door. After a year of being a respectful tenant and paying rent on time my renewal posted and was increasing by 6 percent (a hundred dollars). For the ongoing inconveniences, the apartment location, maintenance issues, and "standard" apartments and buildings it looks like property management is cashing in on the volatile renters market. For perspective, the most well kept, modern, and clean looking building on the property is the management office.

Love living here all my family lived here and living here for 50 years I came here cause I know the community. It's quite clean and secure. I have known somebody that flived here all my life. If I was looking for somewhere to go, this is where I would go to live that's why I came here.

Great comfortable, need entry locks or key fob locks for building entrance door To make it a lot more safer, also the locks on the doors should be doubled they are pretty loose without a second lock. I'm sure you have heard this all before, other than that it's a great place to live. Just needs added security on front main entrance door and second lock on personal apt doors. Thank you

It's good for the most part, increase in the rent every year is a bit much considering I have had at least 5 diffrent leaks and my apt. Has the main water shut in it so I have been iconvenienced over my stay here. I think the rent I pay is more than it should be.

Absolutely awful. All winter my heat was broken and still not fixed, was told oh we will fix it before next winter. Now summer is here and after months of telling them my air is no longer working either it is July and I'm sitting in an 88 degree apartment with my dog panting about to pass out from the heat and yet it is still not fix3d. Can't use my dryer or cook anything or else it heat the apartment up even more and feels like I'm living in an oven. At 8am this morning my apartment temp was already at 82 degrees. Noone is fixing it and I just have to continue to suffer and make calls just for them to tell me "oh well can't do anything right now" after monthssssss of asking for it to be fixed.

It's very welcoming the activity it's a lot of things to do the customer service is good when you move in if things are wrong with the apartment they fix them right away things went smooth I was able to get in the pool also do a few things on the computer

We came many years ago. I wish I had found Willowbrook sooner than we did ! It's been great. We're near everything. The location alone. The staff have always been top notch. My family have been very happy living in this community.

Nice staff always prompt. Polite and respectful to us all the time. Very easy to communicate with and always good response time to our requests and concerns. The complex is well kept and there is always outside contractors working on the appearance of the property.

Between the location of the complex, and the professionalism of the staff, Willowbrook is the best apartment complex I've stayed at thus far. The maintenance guys work fast and thoroughly as well. I'd highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a fresh start in a great area.

When I first moved in, the cost of rent per month was a relatively good value for what I was receiving as a tenant compared to other options available in the area. For the second year, my rent was raised a significant amount and I'm paying a few hundred more per month for a not-so-great quality location. I will not be renewing my lease after this year. The buildings are old, and there's not a lot of security on the entrances. They aren't locked, so anyone can enter the building. There is no lock on the door handle itself, only a deadbolt - when I moved in, I purchased my own additional deadbolt to feel safer in the apartment. Every time they asked for feedback, I gave feedback about the common areas not being vacuumed rarely ever and the walls of the common spaces looking very bad. For the first time in the two years I've lived at my location, they JUST painted the common spaces so the walls look a little better, but the common areas are still rarely vacuumed and seem very dirty. Many people smoke cigarettes and marijuana in my location, and my apartment frequently smells like second-hand smoke. Some people smoke right in the common area inside of the building instead of going outdoors. Some benefits have been: maintenance is extremely prompt when responding to a repair need; in unit washer/dryer is so helpful; community pool; two bedrooms and lots of closet space. Overall, this location just ended up not being what I was looking for long-term. If you can get an affordable rent rate when you first move in this place is a great option (multiple bedrooms and in unit laundry), but once you've lived here a couple years and your rent continues to increase, it's no longer work the value they are charging.

My time at Willowbrook Apartments has been pleasant so far. However, as the days go by, I would feel more safe if the building front doors were secure with a key or a fob because anyone can enter the buildings. Other than this recommendation, my stay has been great. Lastly, it would be appreciated if when a tenant sends an email, someone from the office responds. It is basic mannerisms to respond to an email.

Community is decent, just wish management would police renters with huge dogs that they have no control over and could possibly harm the smaller dogs we walk. Other than the large dog issue its an ok place to rent.

It's great I like it, I'd recommend for people to live here Shannon is an amazing person going she was very friendly and helpful. My only issues were I needed my door fixed and bathroom sink unclogged it really quiet nobody bothers me it's always parking.

The apartment is fairly updated and good size. The front office was very nice and easy to work with. The in unit washer and dryer was the selling point for us to move in and rent with Willowbrook. So far good experience.
