This is one of the best reviews you will read. I don't provide much detail about the features of the apartment so you will just have to go and check it out for yourself. To those who would not recommend this apartment, I'm not sure where you come from. (Perhaps your the elitist type who expect the world to wait on you.) I will start with only one (1) "con." It floods sometimes. Not your apartment, but occasionally the access road and parking lot flood. Its not a huge deal. You may, in extreme conditions, have to park your car in a different spot, but other than that its not going to ruin your day and its worth the minor inconvenience. People complain about the management or the maintenance team and I don't know why. I guess they feel entitled since they pay rent they feel they are special. I had few maintenance issues during the 2.5 years I lived there but each time it was taken care of in a timely fashion. What I recommend the most is the staff. Brittany, Katie, and Sarah are great. Heres the key...treat them with respect and they will bend over backwards for you. They are human beings. If your washer leaks and its an emergency, they will get someone out as quickly as possible. Why? Because its an emergency and they treat you with the respect that they would like to receive if they were in your shoes. But lets put things into perspective. If suddenly your ice maker stops making ice or your garbage disposal malfunctions, some may complain that it took over 12 hours to respond. Knock it off! Lets keep things in perspective. In Iraq at 3am I used to have to walk a football fields length from my room to the bathroom; I think (at Riverview Landing) I can handle waiting till 9am to have my refrigerator looked at! The pool, the river, and the biking/walking trails, Valley Forge Park are great! If you like the outdoors/nature and would like to live in a convenient location away from the "hustle and bustle," Riverview Landing is for you!

Apartments are extremely spacious. I love the size of the bathrooms and closets! The community pool is gorgeous and the walking path/close proximity to the trails and park make this community perfect for outdoor activity. The fitness center is also a nice amenity.

Things are not as good...
Not a good time to ask the last two service request have not been good and the work to repair our building is now going on 5 months. I have had nothing offered for the way the building looks waiting for repairs to be done and it does no good to talk to the Regional Property Manager as they did nothing for me when I complained!

I am very pleased with the community and new home. I am not satisfied that the walls were not painted and there are still nail holes and scuff marks in every room from previous owners. The hallways are in really bad shape as well.

After looking 5 other properties, we decided to move to Riverview Landing because we loved the apartment the moment we saw it: it has a very well distributed layout, plenty of closet space, full washer and dryer, big windows with a nice view and such. The new manager is very helpful and if there is any issue she listens and try to help. Maintenance responds quickly to any issues. So far we had no trouble, and we like living here.

I have lived at RVL for 5 years and have been VERY happy or else I would have moved elsewhere. It's a great place to live...the only reason I will ever leave here is purchasing a home.

I've lived at Riverview Landing for almost 4 years. It's a very convenient location. The amenities are nice and I love living so close to the Schuylkill River Trail. Moving from a single family home to an apartment takes some getting used to but I've had a good experience so far.

We are satisfied with...
I find that the overall grounds are not being maintained as nicely as they were when we first moved into the commumity. After the Sprinkler incident in January our building has fallen into disrepair and even though it is suppose to be being repaired it shows little improvement. The common area especally on the the 3rd floor and the first floor is in bad shape and needs paint and good cleaning. The mirror on our landing of the 3rd floor has been missing for months and should have been replaced. The carpets are filthy. The shrubs outside our building need trimming and the dead ones removed, and the trees outside Bldg 4 are too low for walking under.

I recently toured this community and I have to say it's probably one of the better experiences I've had trying to find an apartment. The office staff was so friendly and accomodating, and answered all of my millions of questions. The property itself was beautiful, and the apartments were great. The leasing agent took me a couple different units and each one was well-maintained, clean, and really helped me to better make my decision about renting. I will definitely be applying here after my tour.

I moved to Riverview Landing after I got a job in KOP and I love everything about my apartment! My neighbors are friendly and the gym is a quick walk across the parking lot. The office staff is always helpful and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend these apartment homes to anyone looking to move to this area!!

Having lived under both management companies Milestone is a joke. The people keep telling everyone they have no budget, the halls do not get cleaned, there is vomit in elevators, and the luggage carts that are provided to help residents move things in and out of their apt are in disrepair. The garages are dirty too and the lighting is incosistent. Some of the people that are moving in are not the level of the rent you are paying. Milestone is destroying what used to be a very nice place to live. If you thought of moving here, Don't there are better places than this and better management companies too.

I moved in last year from due to work. Below are the pros and cons 1. When i moved in i asked them to change the carpets as it was old, dirty and black. They refused and said the carpet was in good condition. I noted this in the movein form. I have stayed in several apartments before and i usually ask for a new carpet and this is the first time i was being denied. Also this one looked really bad at least they could have steamed vaccumed it before giving. 2. The old management Buzzoto was very good in communication, they put notice in elevator and in each building of all communications and even recpies. The new management is pathetic no communication at all. Never know the new people who manage it. No email communication too which the earlier management did often. E.g Recently after the new management has taken it had asked for name tranfer to PECO and never informed the tenents and once we get a letter we have to go to the leasing office and then they inform us to change it back to our names. And the tenents have to pay for the additonal tranfer fee. No communication was sent that they are planning to transfer nor did they send a communication to ask the tenent to change it back. 3. The new managmenet does not service / clean the common areas. Earlier we have staff cleaning the elelvator and corridor weekly. No it stinks dog pee in the elevator since its not cleaned 4. Poor sound proofing and window seals. I can hear the train loud and clear most off the days and all the cars passing by my house. Winter started and i can see cold air coming via the windows as the seal is so bad. 5. The street light need to be cleaned there are tons of bugs dead in it and hardly any light comes wonder when they are gonna clean it.

This apartment community looks, and is priced, amazing. But beware - if you don't have perfect credit they will deny you. I just went through this, I was honest that my credit is subpar, however I have amazing rental history and a steady job that covers double the rent, but none of that mattered. They enter your information into a computer and don't look at individual situations (I may have made mistakes five years ago which is still bringing my credit down, however I have never missed or been late on a rent or utility payment), I even tried emailing the property & district manager - two days later I still have not gotten a response. The leasing agents were as nice as can be and I'm sure they would help if they could, but corporate sets the rules and their hands are tied. Such a shame because we fell in love with this property and even put the $99.00 deposit down to hold a 2 bedroom/2 bath loft. Looks like we'll be going to the Lofts at Valley Forge because they actually look at you as a person, not just a score.

Riverview Landing was my first apartment out of college, and I lived there for one year during my first job in the King of Prussia area. I can't say enough good things about the staff, the grounds and the apartments themselves. I lived in Bldg. 2 on the second floor and I never experienced any noise problems. I'd occasionally hear my upstairs neighbor walking around, but that was pretty much it. You get a great view of the river, but yes, occasionally it does flood. We had two major flooding events in the fall of 2011, but the staff did everything they could do to warn the tenants in advance. There is a ton of parking near the entrance that's on higher ground, and we basically just walked to and from for a day. Out of 365 days, flooding was an issue for maybe 4-5 of them. If you're a fan of jogging or biking, these apartments are right on the Schuykill River trail and I would ride my bike into center city (only about 20 miles). As far as the professionalism of the staff, I never experienced a single problem. In fact, a few staff members knew me by name which is more than I can say for any other apartment complex I've lived in (most were much smaller than Riverview Landing too). I only had one maintenance issue (shower) and it was taken care of immediately. The pool is awesome on warm days, and the rest of the grounds are well kept. We didn't have much snow the year I was there, so I can't really comment on snow removal. I can't recommend Riverview Landing enough. If I ever move back into the area, I'll certainly give them a call.
