I have been living here since 2017 it very nice for first two years but after 2018 in 2019 there are some new people moved in to the building very noisy and have Friends pets for days at their apartment barking all days and all night neighbor upstairs are like running in the apartment all day some time making noise at 3 am in the morning. I call the management office complaining about the dog making noise and barking non stop. I was trying to get some sleep after working all night so i waited one hour before i called. The response was shocking the women from the management said to me oh i am sorry but we do not get involved between neighbors and that's was dogs do you can knock on the door and deal with it. i have been resident here for three years and one of my neighbor moved in beginning of 2019 and the one upstairs moved in Oct 2019 my rent go up every year and this is what you get for living here longer and paying more every year. i am very unsatisfied and looking to move out from this place.

Living at this apartment complex will probably go down as one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Cockroaches, flies, rude staff, continuously broken appliances, and loud/smelly neighbors. Save yourself the headache and stay far away.

Overly priced, only one washer and dryer for entire building, drugs, not that safe, you can hear and smell everything from the other units. If they're is an issue, good luck.. the school is horrible! The insects in the unit.. the pool is small, horrible and not great for kids, don't waste your money!! It's an expensive ------...

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Maintenance is very bad. Bugs are everywhere. Main lobby is dirty. When we had emergency maintenance, they showed up 2 days later. Office managements has low rated behavior.

I've lived here for almost 2 months and absolutely love it. Prior to moving in I read some bad reviews but still decided to take a chance and so glad I did! I've had 2 minor issues, one of which was MY doing (vacuum shorted out and blew a circuit), emergency maintenance was here in less than 10 minutes. My neighbors are friendly and quiet, the grounds are well kept. Honestly, the things I'd like changed: 1. Another trash dumpster on the grounds 2. The residents to stop throwing recycling in the recycle bin in trash bags *this isn't recycling * OR throwing trash in the recycling bin. However, those aren't the fault of Hatfield village, it's either lazy, rude or uneducated other residents and just my "green minded" issue. The only other thing I'd like is to see the hallway windows cleaned a bit more as there are often dead mosquitoes and such so the initial appearance may be that it's a dirty building. I assure you, it's not! As of now, after only being here 2 months I already plan to renew my lease at the end. Prior to moving in I looked at other places and this one won! Though there are some bad reviews I felt I had to try it. Between cost difference and property features it was what I needed to do. So glad I "had" to choose as now it's I "want" to remain. Definitely try it out! I don't think you'll be disappointed. But please, if you do move here, for the sake of our environment break only put recyclables in the recycling and trash / trash bags in the dumpster!

Best thing about this place is that it is normally pretty quiet. There are two main negative points in my view: The first is when your lease is up for renewal, it goes up an outrageous amount. I began paying $875 for a one bedroom and now pay $950. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't for the cockroaches that have infested my kitchen. I've been told that it's being worked on, but I don't see a difference. While I'm sitting at my computer, I'll have cockroaches crawl on my arm and it completely freaks me out. If I had known my building had a roach problem, I would have spent the extra $100-200 on a different apartment without that problem. By the way, there's only one set of laundry machines that are in the basement that you share with the entire building. Total cost is $3.80 for a full load.

I have been living in this place for almost 4 years. I would not recommend this place. Maintenance is terrible . It takes them forever to fix anything even if it constitutes as an emergency. For example it took them 2 months to come and remove black mold in my apartment and now my heater is not working and has not been for five days. I call them and the receptionist was telling me that they have more emergency in other units and my heater is not enough of an emergency. Staff is arrogant and uncooperative. Look for a better place to live.

I am so severely disappointed in Hatfield Village Apartments. After moving out, they continued to take rent money out of my account and it took MONTHS to be reimbursed - security deposit too!! I asked for interest on the money unlawfully taken from me and they refused. Again, just furious with their customer service, lack of professionalism, and illegal actions.

I just don't understand one thing: why do you let people FLY in their cars here when there are SO many children living around?? You put the speed bumps here and there but that OBVIOUSLY doesn't stop stupid people from flying in their cars. So why don't you put more of them or make them higher or come up with some kind of fine for those who don't care about other residents at all! Not only they fly 50 mph here but they also do it loud with their engines and they do it on purpose. They don't care if there's a kid in the street, someone's kid is trying to sleep or anyone had to get up at 4 am for work. They fly like crazy any time of the day and nobody does ANYTHING about that. DO SOMETHING!! I talk to other residents and they all feel the same way, nobody feels comfortable waking even to the dumpster especially at night, because you might easily get hit by a car. This needs to stop. Not sure who is going to read it or react to this- last time I was trying to contact the regional manager and was told he was at the office but still had to leave a voicemail and never ever heard back!

I just moved here but I already really like living here. Our building is so quiet and peaceful! I can barely hear my neighbors which is so welcoming because in the past I could always hear neighbors stomping around above or hear them talking constantly at a different complex. Having an end unit that is next to the washer and dryer as well as the storage units is a plus also. That will be very helpful in the winter. Each floor has their own laundry room and ours is only shared between four units. Other than that this place has so much to offer. It has an updated gym, pool, tennis courts, walking trails, on site convenient store, air for your tires, well maintained outdoor areas, well lit indoor and outdoor areas at night, fast maintenance service, close to shopping and restaurants, and best of all the rent prices are reasonable! The area is gorgeous. Would definitely recommend renting here.

I went to hatfield village apartments on 7/17/18 to fill out my application for a large studio apartment. The leasing agent whose name was Samantha Salotti, was very kind and cheerful when she was giving me a tour of the place. I very much liked the apartment and decided to fill out my application. Samantha was very clear that I needed to provide proof of income, before she would be able to run at application to see whether or not I was eligible. I told Mrs. Salotti that I would be able to provide my proof of income in about a day or two, but she went ahead and submitted my application and told me it was denied??? Mrs. Salotti called me, explaining that due to my lack of income, which she knew and expected me to send to her email in the next following days, just went ahead and submitted the application and told me I would need a co-signer and the $50 application fee would be non refundable. I easily make four times the amount of rent, so I am not sure why she could not wait until I provided my proof of income. Now my credit has been hit, without my knowledge or consent, and I have been told it could be weeks before my money order that I used would be returned to me. $150 is now in limbo. I had to repeat my self to Samantha Salotti multiple times that she knew that she was supposed to wait for my proof of income before even moving ahead with submitting the application. The worst part was that her best offer to fix this situation, was to waive the application fee for my co-signer? I will update everyone with how the rest of my experience at hatfield village goes as in regard to whether or not I am able to get a full refund or if these people are willing to fix their mistake. What Samantha Salotti did was not appropriate at all. It made absolutely no sense. Horrible experience so far.

I will be soon finishing up my first year here at Hatfield Village Apartments and I have not had a bad experience. It is a great quiet community that is well landscaped. The staff at the leasing office helped me with all of the paperwork and answered any questions that I had. Every time I called the office, they would answer within the first couple of rings. When I moved into my apartment, the one window in the bedroom would not lock. I called maintenance that same day and left and message for them and they came out the next day to fix it. Everyone including other residents, staff or the maintenance crew were all so friendly! (DT)

Absolutely love living here. I moved with my wife from 3 hours away and was entirely new to the area. I learned that rent here is much higher than the average US town, which was a real shame since it seemed we wouldn't be able to afford an apartment big enough for our needs. However, Hatfield Village offered a 2 bedroom apartment with a walk in closet in our budget! The neighbors are nice and we are able to live peacefully together without anyone complaining about each other. The staff are extremely helpful and sweet to talk to, especially Joanne and Lisa. Maintenance is very eager to get things fixed ASAP which is really nice. We've lived here 2 years and adore it. The living room is gigantic and we didn't see any other renting locations with a room nearly as large. Being close to parks and to the grocery store is awesome too. It's a great place and you won't find anything comparable in the area unless you're willing to increase your rent bill significantly or decrease your living space and/or quality of home extremely. We're trying to get our friends to move here too! -AM

So far living here has been a good experience. Staff and the maintenance department is very polite and helpful. The apartment complex property is always very well maintained. I think the apartment prices are quite reasonable for all the additional community facilities that are provided here. Also, prices are quite fair compared to the other apartment prices around the area. Overall, its been a good experience so far and have no major complaints.

Current resident fighting eviction against Scully Company. Scully EVICTED my family out for complaints against foul smells, noisy neighbors and most of all COCK ROACHES. We've found the infestation of roaches in our brand new bed, couch, kitchen cabinets. This company has uncertified/untrained/unlicensed staff that does not fix a thing. They attempted to the roach issue by placing a foam gasket around the door (obviously doesn't work). When acting persistent towards the staff to fix issues, they take YOU to court for disturbing the peace. Not only do you lose court, they place a judgement for you pay their lawyer fees. This was not over failure to pay rent or a legitimate breach of the lease. This company is a UNJUST. Take a look at my picture of the infestation and court eviction before you bare to think about moving into such conditions.

Absolutely terrible experience! Would never recommend that place to any of my friends!! 24 hours maintenance for emergencies? Not really! Unless you really are dying in your apartment anything else can wait. I had my fridge broken on New Year night. All food went bad and I saved what I could on the window outside of my room, since the maintenance was off for who knows how many days in a row I couldn't save my groceries and of course nobody ever paid me back for them, though broken fridge wasn't my fault! Next, I was trying to visit the pool on one of the hot summer days and had my guest with me. All residents can get a pool pass for themselves (if you lose it you'll be charged $75(!) for the card! But you have to get a pass got the guest. So on a Saturday, when we were just about to spend a day at the pool we've been told that the office didn't have guest passes. As usually no one was able to help us in any way! Though it wasn't our fault that the office didn't have passes! Nobody offered any kind of solution! Whenever I have an issue now I will do my best to resolve it without having to call management because they are absolutely no help anyways! And nobody is ever polite or nice there!!!

Great staff, nice amenities. My complaint is noise, not from other tenants, actually the floorplan of the two bedrooms are such I cant hear my neighbors. However, there are squirrels in the walls. A great maintenance team is working on this, but this would be a perfect apartment if it wasn't for the darn squirrels.

I am so glad to be out of Hatfield Village. The walls are paper thin, hallways and staircases not kept clean and my car was vandalized on numerous occasions, costing me hundreds of dollars out of pocket, Hatfield Village and Scully Company were not helpful at all. Now that I've moved out, I am being charged for all new paint, even though I painted when I moved out, as well as new carpet throughout the entire apartment, which I was told PRIOR to moving in that all apartments were installed with new carpet when a tenant moves out. They are going back on their word on charges that I was told I would not be responsible for when moving out. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else, I moved out in September and months later I'm still dealing with this place. They run on greed and nothing else, definitely not worth the money.

My name is Joseph. It is currently October and I've been living here since August. Hatfield Village Apartments looked very nice. Large playground for the kids, a pool, and a gym. The gym kind of sucks, and since the staff delayed my move in by two weeks, I really only got two enjoy it for two and a half weeks since they close it on labor day. But whatever. My biggest complaints are three things: 1. I know this is Pennsylvania, but $890 for a one bedroom is quite expensive. They didn't have the kind of apartment I wanted or put me on the floor I wanted either. I wanted a one bedroom half upgraded apartment on July 31st on the first floor. Instead, I got a more expensive fully upgraded. apartment on the second floor on August 15th. If you get them not upgraded at all, they are way outdated including their appliances. They're literally only charging more for the new or apartments because they can, not because it cost them any more money. At the very least, whatever money they put into upgrading it will long be covered by the end of a single person's lease. Whatever. 2. I am getting sick and tired of all of the damn noise. I'm always hearing the TV of my neighbors downstairs and their stupid freaking Hip Hop music being played. The Neighbors on the floor above me let their stupid little kid run around all the time clearly oblivious to the fact that they're on the top floor and there are people who live below them hearing his thunderous freaking footsteps, and the people who live in the apartment across from me are always slamming their doors and people are always honking their horns outside of my window for them to come out and they're always talking in the hallway with their door open really loudly and laughing. Get inside the apartment or get outside. Don't stand in the freakin hallway right outside of my door with these thin walls and Floors talking and laughing extremely loudly. What I'm getting at is that these walls and floors are way too thin and nobody can make a single sound without everyone else hearing it. It's like they decided to go with the cheapest walls they could possibly choose. 3. I hate the laundry room here. It is a complete joke. You have to spend $4 of your own money to get a stupid card to use the washer and dryer because it won't work with actual money. So right off the bat you're out $4. Furthermore, it costs $1.75 to wash one load and then another $1.75 to dry that load. By the end of it all, you have spent almost $5 more on one load washed and dried then you would have at a laundromat. And the more you use the laundry room here, the wider the gap of your loss becomes. The dryer and washer are both normal size like you would find in a person's home and there is only one of each which is ridiculous. Furthermore, the dryer didn't even dry my clothes. I wasted $1.75 to take wet clothes up and hang them from drip dry hangers in my closet until they air-dried. I'm looking to move to a better place. I'm so glad I only signed a six month lease People told me for quite a while even before I considered living here that Hatfield Village is the ------ of Hatfield. Given the lowbrow and inconsiderate people

Place was very nice at first. It was a pleasant place to move into. Ask around how much other people are paying and you come to find out that your getting ripped off. Neighbors pay more or less than you and from our apartment I can hear people from the next apartment having sex as I'd they were in front of me because the walls are so thin. They don't come and fix the door if it swells shut because the bathroom molds so fast you have to clean it every other day. Very poor management with apartment management and management of the swimming pool. It's always dirty..while the lifeguard has big ---- it still shouldn't stop her from cleaning the pool. And when people asked her they got band from the pool. Long story short I has a very bad experience living there and I would not every recommend this place to anyone. You will lose your money.
