Hello I have been a tenant here for the past 4 years and I have enjoyed my stay here so far. Above all I have enjoyed the hard working men and women of the Maintenance Department. You keep the outside beautiful and the inside well maintained and comfortable. you are all courteous and accommodating. You take such good care of things without making us feel like we are bothering you. I would like to make a specific acknowledgement to Tom Landy and Lisa Brown. Your dedication to the care and comfort of your residents is second to none.Your communication is excellent and I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond not just this weekend but any other time I've needed your services. Thank you.

I am a tenant here and I would like to say how much I love where I live. The move in was easy and the apartment is so clean and neat. Upon moving in I had a problem as the hot water was cold. Made a call Monday morning 9:00 AM and before I got home that night it was fixed. Within one week the problem started happening again, so the Lisa and Quetta informed the maintenance crew that they decided I needed a new water heater. They replaced the water heater and changed the cabinets while they were in there. I have to say the service I received was excellent because the communication and the work done was fast and professional. It is so important to love were you live and the staff and people here do that....

I been living at hatfield village for about 3 years and I couldn't be happier. If I ever had a problem I gave them a call and things was fixed. That's how a apartment complex takes care of the residents. I lived at other places and they took their time to come out and fix things. The prices here are reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone. The people that work here are nice and make you feel at home. From day one my leasing consultant Brenda made the steps easy and painless. I have nothing but good things to say about hatfield apartments.

This is the first apartment I've lived in since moving out of my parents house and I picked it out because of the location, right in the heart of Hatfield and so close to main streets so I can get to work and school, plus all the amanaties that came along with it. I also loved the layout of my two bed, one bath apartment, spacious rooms and kitchen as well. The rent is right where it needs to be and all my neighbors are so kind. But what I really love the most is that over the time that I've lived there (6 months so far) I've had some personal issues with my roommates and the associates at HVA have been nothing but understanding and so down to earth about my situation. I couldn't have asked for a better first apartment and I always recommend it to everyone!! You will be happy you chose it :)

I looked at a few apartment complexes in the Hatfield/Lansdale area and ended up choosing Hatfield Village - and let me say, I couldn't be happier. We loved the pricing of the community, all the amenities we were receiving when becoming residents, and the staff! I had the opportunity to work with Brenda in the leasing office, and she is honestly the most knowledgeable and understanding leasing agent i ever interacted with. Like the rest of the staff, they truly care about all of the residents and making sure everyone is taken care of and have the ability to make HVA their home. Another great thing about the community is the playground, basketball courts, and pool. They are well maintained and great for kids (and adults) in the summer! Also, the grounds people are continually working hard everyday to make the complex look clean and nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking to move to the area!

My significant other and I have really enjoyed our time living at Hatfield Village. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with nicely kept grounds. We make use of the gym often; it's small but has a nice variety of equipment and we usually don't have to wait for others very long, or at all, to use the machines. The pool has been a great place to hang out in the summertime and the dog park and playground seem to get a lot of use too-- all communal spaces are clean and well-maintained. The leasing office staff have been very helpful, too. Our apartment itself has also been a wonderful place to live. Ample living space, clean carpeting and flooring, and the ability to customize to our liking by painting/decorating. Plenty of closets. Effective A/C units and heating. All appliances are in working order and anytime we had an issue, maintenance was prompt in getting it fixed. Overall, Hatfield Village is a lovely place to live at a good price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and welcoming community.

Place is a complete dump makes North Philly look good. It's a welfare infested place with people yelling, screaming, banging stuff all day/night long. Paper thin walls allow u to hear everything and can hear the person above and below you walking around. Do not rent here. Place is so out dated and you get no sleep. If u work don't move here u will never get a peaceful sleep. Trash is all over the place, swimming pool is filthy and filled with cracks. U get one nasty washer/dryer in your building to suit 12 units so plan on doing your wash at laundry mate.

The worst place I've ever lived .... they have pretty faces but are in disguise .... I've been treated like scum while living there I was disrespected by staff nothing done!! Bugs??? Yes roaches as well as bed bugs and don't dare tell them cause you brought them in and then charge you 100s of dollars for their exterminator!!!! If they don't like you then they will get you out!! Funny how they hand deliver late notices but claim they post eviction warnings on your door I find that odd and unjustly if you don't kiss their behind you're a nobody god forbid you have money problems they don't care!!! It's not there family they all have silver spoons in their mouths ..... Thin walls dirty hallways I can go on all day !!! They are money hungry and if you have children ha they don't care they place fake eviction notices on your door then kick you out in the street because their word is God !!! No proof of the notice being posted on the door but can have someone bang on your door for a late fee funny right??? Sounds suspicious to me don't dare tell them different because they are right and their establishment is right !!!! I would never send anyone there EVER if you can claim you posted a notice on a door then by all means prove me wrong haha you can't just like you want proof so does everyone else but instead you throw a sick child out on the streets PATHETIC they need new people running that place that don't have power trips!!!!! HORRIBLE STAY AWAY!!!!!

Moving into Hatfield Village Apartments was one of the best decisions I ever made. Whether its the smiling staff in the leasing office, the prompt maintence tenants, the well kept landscape, or the friendly neighbors around me, I have always felt that I could call this place my home for the last 3 years. Not to mention - there is a nicely maintained pool for the summer time, a nice playground for kids of all ages, and a track for the running individuals. I would definitely recommend to anyone moving to the Hatfield/Lansdale area to look into this community. The entire leasing staff is eager and willing to help and assist any matter. I've had the pleasure to work with Brenda, and it has been the best leasing experience I've ever dealt with! Ignore all of the negative comments listed for this place! I love it here!

I've been living here for 6 months. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone moving in the area. Maintenance has been good about arriving promptly when something needs fixed. The overall appearance of the Village is beautiful and well kept. I can't imagine a better living situation for the price I'm paying for a 1 bdrm. Everything was clean and new when I first moved in. Best of all the beautiful ladies who run the leasing office are amazing. Jenn and Brenda really know how to make you feel at home and when you walk in they genuinely care what your concern is. I read some comments concerning bugs before I moved in here. I keep my place clean and I haven't had any bug issues. Even in the off chance you do encounter a bug problem the apartments offer free terminator service.

I would not refer anyone to these apartments. I can't live here as they gave me a hard time with the application process. First they tried to get me with a judgment on my credit. The judgement was well satisfied which is why I am in the apartment I'm in now. I called their monitoring service and they was able to take it off. I went to the next step. The background check. I never thought in a million years that something bad would show up. They said there was a misdemeanor back in 5/2005. A hit and run. Meaning I scratched someone car backing up in a parking lot. I guess it was just enough that they wanted to file a report. Now I have been declined. Guess I'll stay here at Lynnwood Gardens which did not give me a hard time. Too much discrimination here. I guess they only pick who they want to live here. If the people at the front desk is this stuck up then I can only imagine how it would be living here.

A JOKE! While the overall appearance of the complex appears well kept, the problems lie within the apartments, management and the residents themselves. First, the floors are thinner than paper, you can hear EVERYTHING, and I do mean everything, loud kids, neighbors pounding on walls and yelling when you turn on the tv at night, and of course your most intimate events are heard too! Maintance, while prompt and friendly, seem to fix problems as cheaply as possible, probably due to the management. Management, uncarring to residents problems, which makes they are only interested in renting apartments. With this place so many people moving in and out on a monthly basis, I think they make more money turning over apartments rather than keeping people here. I haven't found anyone who's lived here more than a year or two! Which brings me to the residents, some of the most ignorant people I have ever seen. Just human trash, tossing trash wherever they feel like, everywhere's their trash can AND toilet, including the entry halls. And they park themselves on any car that's near them, YOURS! Oh, and they can't park and I've seem them hit cars while pulling in and backing out! And the rudes bunch of idiots too, and with more people shoved into an apartment than legally allowed to have and management does NOTHING! Imagine a 2 bedroom apartment with about 7 people, 4 adults and at least 3 if not more kids, all yelling, screaming, fighting, at all hours of the day and night! And let's not forget the apartments themselves, all needing repairs, laundry area is gross, scary, the hall has holes in the walls and roaches run amok around here! If you don't belive this review, check google plus, lots of bad reviews too, this place is sliding downhill fast. Pity this nice area has such a dump as this. My advice, pay more and look elsewhere, you'll be doing yourself a favor!

I lived here for two years and love it. The building is conveniently located near a grocery store, shopping mall, parks and a police department which makes us all feel safe. the leasing office is made up of a great team who helps with any type of issue or concern that us residents have. they are patient and get the job done professionally and politely. the maintenance workers are prompt and diligent to get anything i need fixed/looked at. They have a great fitness center, community room, and a convenient state of the art vending machine (you'll never see one like this anywhere else). the residents i have met and known are friendly and delightful to be around. the apartments are very clean and affordable. It is a great place to live and i wouldn't think about moving me and my family elsewhere.

Worse place ever!! Walls are thin! Floors are thin! Smells like cigarettes because neighbors smoke in their apartments and it comes through. I have been unhappy since the third day here. Glad we only signed a 6 month lease. Neighbors are rude and loud, playing music and tv so loud it vibrates our walls. I have had it here. Can't wait to get out!!!!! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

I was so thankful to find Hatfield apartments. They are spacious and cheap and the community is beautiful. Unfortunately, my neighbors leave their trash in the hallways while other neighbors smoke cigarettes in the building, leaving my apartment to smell like curry diapers sitting in an ashtray. If you like this smell though, these apartments are for you! I know I can't blame Hatfield apartments for my neighbors' neighbors behavior but I can blame them for always shutting the water off at the most inopportune times for maintenance reasons without so much as a warning. These buildings are old and have awful plumbing as well, so be prepared to spend all the money you're saving on rent on draino. I think this is a good place for people on welfare but if you can afford to live somewhere else, then run there. Run there fast.

DO NOT BE FOOLED! This place was disgusting. First week I moved in saw roaches..ok so get maintenance to fix the problem. That was a joke they were out at least 10x with no resolution of problem intact it got worse. They so call "treated" the area- (kitchen and bathroom). Yea didn't you know roaches don't travel toothier parts of the apartments? Exactly why they were found in 2nd bedroom multiple times. I was diligent abut cleaning, taking trash out- nothing mattered. They were multiplying right before my eyes- even found them in my Keurig coffee tray- babies. Absolutely nasty. The laundry in basement was dirty, musty and smelled. People in building were slobs- leaving food and trash in hallways. There was raw sewage pumped out the front door with remnants of crap (literally) left on the front steps for everyone to track into the building and their apartments. Brenda from management tried to act surprised and astonished that she has never gotten a complaint before. Reading all the reviews it is obviously a LIE. Needless to say I moved out a month later. Tried to contact Scully company over 15x leaving messages with no answer- no returned phone call. However I received a bill for over 4500.00 for breaking my lease. Not too mention all the time and expense it costed to move- and remove again. Whatever- at least I can sleep at night knowing there isn't roaches laying eggs in my ears and all my belongings. Don't be fooled- my apartment looked gorgeous- out of a magazine even. You get what you pay for. Pay an extra few hundred dollars for a clean- bug free apartment!

DO NOT rent here unless you are OK living with numerous giant centipedes. DO NOT get trapped by the beautiful pictures and the low rent offering. They offer the lowest rent in the area simply because they just can't find enough people to live in their messy apartments. I moved in couple weeks ago, and thinking of breaking the 6 months lease. There are a bunch of vacant units in my building itself. People are just trying to somehow escape from here.

My husband and I just had our move in date yesterday(07/31/2013) at Hatfield Village Apartments and we can't express how satisfied and excited we are to start this new beginning! We are expecting our first baby (due date was the same as move in date:yesterday) and we were living in a one bedroom which my husband had been in for seven years. We thought we could hold off on moving until after the baby was born until we received all of the baby's things that we needed. We then realized we had no room and needed a bigger place. We were driving around looking for places and we came upon Hatfield Village. We were met by Angela Terrigno, who we didn't know then but was the most amazing and helpful person we could have ever asked for. We feel in love with the apartment including the huge vending machine, (which still boggles our mind how amazing the vending machine is) pool, fitness center and all of the places that were close by including Walmart, WaWa and so many other great places. We had a hard time with the application; no fault at all by Hatfield. We def had some bumps in the roads but Angela was right there every step of the way. She went beyond what she needed to do and helped us so much. She cared that we had a baby coming and needed to get in as soon as possible. I would send so many emails to Angela and every time she got back to me. If she didn't know the answer, she'd find the answer for us right away. We felt like the most annoying people in the world because we both were constantly calling Angela or emailing her but she never once made us feel that we were an annoyance even though we def were in our eyes. We are so excited to start this new beginning with a new baby boy when he gets here and an amazing apartment. It's not just the apartment,it's the amazing experience that we had with Angela who we now consider a friend. I can't go into details because this would be even longer then it already is but because of Angela and Hatfield Village our dreams and our future look amazing and bright! Thanks to Angela Terrigno for all of the hard work and for Hatfield Village for providing us with a great place to raise our family. We look forward to becoming part of this community and we're excited for all that Hatfield Village Apartments provides. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murphy

We were rushing to move and this place was the only place that could get us in on short notice. We are in an "all cat" building, meaning no dogs in the building, which is a bonus. The rent was great and, for our first 18 month lease, we had a discounted rate. No central air, but there are wall units in master bedroom and living room, which is enormous. The master bedroom has a huge closet and it's very big. I would rather have a larger bathroom, though! Base board heating, which I thought would hold down the dust, but no chance. Bright living room, big windows, no window in the kitchen which could really use a ceiling fan--it gets super hot! Maintenance does a good job of getting here quickly, but they are dense from time to time--I asked them to regrout the tub and they simply regrouted over the old grout, so it's cracking again. The bathroom is a hideous old blue, but it could be worse--they also have pink! There's a leak from the upstairs apartment in the bathroom and, even though I've told them exactly what to check, it's still there. it took a couple of visits from the exterminator to fix an issue we were having with bees and squirrels live in the attic. This is low-end living, a good starter or temporary place to roost, but not long-term. The neighbors can be obnoxious, although I have some good and some bad. Parking is not assigned and tends to become scarce at times. They will, however, bust people for doing things they shouldn't do. Walls tend to be thin, but I'm lucky to be over storage (smelly, but sufficient) and laundry (which I don't use-scary and not so clean, plus there's only 1 washer and 1 dryer-easier to go the laundry), so I only have to deal with upper. If you're planning on moving in, ask them for a back apartment, one that does not face the parking lot. It's quieter. And be sure to measure before planning on moving anything in-the doors sit at angles, so it can be difficult to bring in long sofas, and everything is either up or down stairs. All electric and my bills have been reasonable, even though I run the a/c a lot. Nice pool, although they don't open until school ends and there are tons of kids. Usable fitness center, but it has limited hours.

I could not possibly stress how TERRIBLE our entire experience at Hatfield Village Apartments has been. In the process of moving to Pennsylvania we discovered Hatfield Village apartments which lured us in with the amenities and low rent prices. The saying "you get what you pay for" has never been more true. The two bedroom apartments have a decent sized master bedroom and walk in closet. The small bedroom has very little space to live in once a bed is in the room. I'm quite certain that prison cells are bigger. The first problem worth noting would have to be the shared hallways and the constant odor from neighbors that seem to either let garbage sit or live in a very unclean environment. The next issue is bugs. This is an issue that was never resolved after many visits from maintenance. This includes insects such as roaches and centipedes that never seem to go away after pest control sprays. I and my other roommates have often had sleepless nights due to seeing them crawl around on the walls and ceilings. Whatever they are spraying could not possibly be less effective. Upon moving out of the apartment we were hit with a $615 bill (plus the $250 deposit which they kept) for damages that included a door and (what i'm guessing to be) the entire carpet. After many calls to management and even a written letter we have received no response for a year. We got the generic "we will call you back once we pull the file" every time we called. When we looked into a new property elsewhere the issue finally came back up and management was STILL unable to explain to us why the entire carpet in the apartment needed to be replaced. This is a great place to stay if you are on the verge of being homeless and no other options for you.

I have been living at Hatfield Village Apartments for almost a year now and have to say that I LOVE IT! From the first moment I met Angela, I knew I had found my new home. She is very professional and friendly. She showed me around the complex and I was quite impressed by the immaculate pool, gym and the grounds. The maintenance department is always on call and if you have a problem in your apartment, they get it taken care of quickly. I had my daughter's wedding shower in The Community Room and received many compliments on how beautiful the room was. My experience at Hatfield Village Apartments has been wonderful and I am renewing my lease for another year. Pattie K.
