We have lived at Madison about 3 years. The past two have been out of necessity and timing. We would not have stayed if we could help it. When we moved in we went through our checklist and noted all the problems that came with the apartment. Only one out of all of the bedroom electrical outlets is in working condition. Our living room and hall ceiling show signs of a massive leak and repair from the apartment above. Parking is a nightmare because some residents have people living with them that are off lease and use up more than their allotted 2 spaces. Recently we brought up our concerns and were offered another apartment (a two bedroom even) at the rate our rent was being raised to. We accepted the offer and had plans to move there last October after our current lease expired. They reneged on the offer saying that the apartment was scheduled for an "upgrade" therefore we wouldn't be able to get it at the price they quoted us. This was the only reason we renewed the lease. When we complained about it and all of the issues in our apartment that still hadn't been addressed they sent someone to repaint over the stains in the ceiling and have our carpet cleaned and stretched. The paint turned out to be a different color, and the cleaning didn't do anything to the carpet (which they never stretched). This place is just awful and management pretty much gives you a generic response accompanied with a blank stare every time you go in the office with a problem. I have NOTHING bad to say about the maintenance team, THEY at least are on the ball.

Ok the Hunt club is a pretty good apartment complex. We have been living here for almost a year now. There are some good and some not so good features of the apartments. Let me start with the good: The maintenance staff is great, we've had a couple minor problems since moving in, they responded same day on both occasions. We also had one major problem, a big leak, they went down during off hours that was responded to before 6 am on a saturday, that was great. Being on the second floor is something I highly recommend, it is very quiet up here even though I know my downstairs neighbor is blasting her music at all hours of the night. The campus is well laid out, you almost feel like you have your own personal enterance, the lay out is private, yet safe feeling. The gounds are kept pretty nice, the landscapers do seem to rip up quite a big patch of grass when it rains. But the grass is kept up, mulch was spread out in the spring and the snow was removed pretty quickly in the winter. Pets! Pets! Pets! This is a great place for animal lovers, there are dogs galore. OK for the bad: There seems to be a problem because of this place being kept so nice of wanderers coming from out of the apartment complex to use the pool and basketball and tennis courts. I know no one like confrontation but I think the office staff needs to be a little more pro active in kicking them out and leaving the space and facilities open for paying residents. The price for the apartments is a bit high and not a "set" price. It based on availibility and therefor someone with a larger apartment may be paying quite a bit less. It's goofy. Paying for trash pick up? No your paying for their dumpsters, we are already paying a premium for our apartments, do we also need to foot the bill for the dumpsters?

I have lived here 5.5 years and have been extremely happy. The property is well maintained. People are friendly. It is close to shopping and other services. The fitness center is convenient to use 24/7. Whenever I need a repair, the maintenance staff responds quickly.

The maintenance staff...
The maintenance staff is great. The apartments have all good amenities. Love the grounds and that the community is pet friendly. I wish the prices were lower so it was more affordable and we could stay indefinitely.

Was excellent until my...
Was excellent until my downstairs neighbor began to submit complaints and hurl obscenities at me. I was very comfortable until this happened but now worry constantly she'll submit false complaints and feel I can't live normally.

IT IS A GOOD APARTMENT...
IT IS A GOOD APARTMENT COMMUNITY, BETTER THAN SOME I HAVE LIVED IN. IT STILL NEED IMPROVEMENT IN SOME AREAS, BUT OVERALL I AM SATISFIED.

Unfortunately these apartments despite their location and look are very disappointing! The paint used is so cheap your finger nail leaves a mark on the walls so by the time you have moved everything in it looks like crap. We have a 40 gallon electic hot water heater in our unit which provides 12 minutes of a hot shower. When we thought it was broken we were told that we have to live with it and to not run the laundry or dishwasher before we shower, which isn't too much of a problem until more than one person needs to shower. It is so bad that my husband and I shower together and still can't finish cleaning ourselves before the cold water hurts. It also takes over an hour to get any hot water once it runs out... in my opinion they are simply using the cheapest product and saying it's nice. My biggest issue is how little they care about cleanliness and health safety! As you can see from the pictures our downstairs neighbor lets his dog poop and pee on the patio! We have made multiple complaints yet we still have to see dog crap on the patio everyday! The patio is unsealed concrete so it smells really bad! It is disgusting that they know of this problem yet for months it has been like this! The situation has rendered our balcony unusable because of the smell! It is a very dog friendly complex which is nice but the office never enforces anyone cleaning up after them. It hasn't been too bad lately but there is usually a lot of poop on the grounds. I am worried our apartment will become infested because of the filth below us. The average for our unit is probably around $1350 a month which is a joke for what you get! These apartments seem nice but the lack of care and concern for health really makes it one of the worst places I have ever lived!

This community is a very nice place to live. It's quiet and has amenities such as a dog park and walking trail. Office staff are helpful, friendly and have special days during the year for gatherings in the club house. We have a fitness center, too

We are renting here for...
We are renting here for six months while our new home is being built. I could not have picked a better place to stay for the next six months. It is a very nice apartment. The office staff is fantastic. They returned all phone calls and e-mails promptly. Can't comment on the maintenace staff as nothing needed repair! When we moved in, the unit was very clean and smelled great! We had doubts about renting at first, but we are very happy about the overall quality of Madison at Hunt Club. Would recommend renting here!

I've been at the Madison...
I've been at the Madison Hunt Club for a few weeks now and so far it's been great. Very nice unit with nice amenities, the only thing extra I would have liked is for the sink to have a garbage disposal. Seems to be well insulated, I never hear a peep from other units around me and I know they're occupied as I see people coming and going. Definitely the best apartment complex I've lived in yet.

It has been hassle free...
It has been hassle free moving in. The apartment was in great condition, and everything works. The location was my first choice, so I am glad all else has been so nice. The amenities are a bonus, and my kids are loving the park and look forward to the pool.

It is a very well cared...
It is a very well cared for community. Good lawn care. It has a very pleasant appearance with lovely trees and the construction is attractive. The area looks much like a small village. I have one complaint and that is the heat is not sufficient. There are cold walls and the temperature must stay above 70 or cold air blows from the vents. My bills for heat have been a bit high. This is really the only big issue I have. Otherwise, the apartment is much to my satisfaction.

We have been most pleased with Hunt Club. It is close to stores and Turnpike. We love the apartment we are in. The staff has been very helpful and and are concerned about our needs. we have enjoyed our stay here and hope to remain here for the foreseeable future.
