get out of lease
I am writing in response to the glowing reports on Hunt Club.
First of all I did attempt to get out of the lease, after the police had to Mace the Pit Bull at 6:00 AM just walking around the complex unattended, that belong to the tenants on Woodview Lane, yes Pit Bull funny how the leasing professionals explain “Hunt Club Apartments does not rent to owners of Pit Bulls” it was explained to me I would be responsible for the rest of my lease which would have been 9 months. As far as you’re not being aware of the police being called, I suggest you call the Lower Gwynedd Police Department and they will be more then happy to confirm the fact they are dispatched to Hunt Club Apartments on a regular basis. As far as the maintenance I have several photos to back up everyone of my statements. As the previous reviewer has written I agree, glowing report from a tenant unlikely, I too think it is more likely the office staff has nothing better to do. I have also instructed our corporation to remove Hunt Club Apartments from their housing directory which was done ASAP, esspecially once they say the police reports, photographs and my vet bill. Thank goodness, my lease is finally up in June so I can get out of this DUMP and the Hunt Club Apartment Nightmare!
best of luck
I have lived "not that I wanted too" at this place for 22 months. Finally after nearly 2 years my company is transferring me back to NYC. This experience at the Hunt Club Apartments has been the worst I have ever had. One month after moving in to these apartments my dog becoming ill from the lack of responsible pet owners cleaning after their animals. I have repeatedly complained to management about these pet owners even taking down the time of day, area of accident, and place of residency. The piles remain and the pet owners continue to ignore the rules of said complex as well as the respect too others who do scoop the poop. I have to park my car as far away from my apartment as possible due to damage from other residences slamming their doors, or bodies into my vehicle. When the snow comes forget dressing for work unless you work at 2:00 PM if you are lucky your sidewalk maybe cleaned by then, or you may have dug your car out by then! I have taken polls from other residents and they seem disillusioned by Hunt Club Apartments. Especially the maintenance and management lack of knowledge and lack of support to tenants needs, take this message and absorb it, I am a professional Engineer, I have rented the same apartment for 5 years in NYC with no complaints and no sick dog, damaged vehicle or extra dry cleaning bills during that time, as a matter of fact I still get an annual Hanukah Card from the doorman and staff. My family owns 2 condos in resort areas which we use as additional income so we understand what is expected from the management, so far after 15 years no complaints on either property.
My only statement to the persons reviewing with praise to this complex, I know you are in the minority as the turn over in this complex is overwhelming.
in response too
OK people if you can´t see the PILES of dog doo -doo on the corner of Hunt Club Trail and Meadowbrook I will be MORE then happy to point it out for you!
I think it is FUNNY that the responses of "glowing praise" for this complex seem to be carbon copies of the "hunt club website" guess the staff in the office has nothing better to do then write responses to the real deal review!!!! and as far as living in the joint more then 1 or 2 years, not as far as my polling the neighbors in my end of the complex! anytime you need to see the dog piles here is a tip OPEN your EYES and look on the ground!

I can´t find anything wrong with this community!
I´m writing in response to the 2 messages that were writen at the end of January, I´m not sure what this person is talking about I have lived here for a few years now and have NEVER had a complaint about anything. If you are so unhappy here then move out, I´m sure they will let you out of your lease if you explain how unhappy you are! I love it here so much that if you could buy these apartments I would.

What´s the problem...it is great here!
I just wanted to respond to the two reviews from January 23rd. I live at Hunt Club and have for 3 years. I am not seeing the problem with pet waste that they are referring to, and I live in a pet building. The grounds are kept nice and clean, you rarely see any trash around. I don´t understand the comment about the police, yes I do see them driving through patroling but I am not seeing them stopping for any reason. As far as the maintenance it is outstanding!! I have lived in other places and the maintenance is horrible. All of my problems here are fixed within 24 hours and always on the first visit. Frankly, if you are having a problem with the heat, I think you should call the office and get someone to come out and look at it. I would highly recommend this place and will continue to make it my home for many years!!

Scale from 1 to 10: Hunt Club is a 2
Police are here at least 2 times during the day when raining or snow due to poor maintenance on sidewalks and driveways. Lucky if it is cleared by noon. Persons can not walk without being assaulted, more police appearances. Health conditions at the gym and pool (won´t go into the tanning beds) is less then acceptable. Fecal material and trash is EVERYWHERE. Although the STAFF assures you and even has it in writing about specific breeds of dogs i.e., Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans and Saint Bernards not allowed in Hunt Club, yes you guess it Police had to mace a Pit Bull attempted to attack residents. The apartments are FREEZING, heat is from ducts in the ceilings which even at 70 do not allow you to sleep (forget about the midnight bathroom use). All this being said just try to get out of their lease, if you sign it your there for the YEAR. Believe me you will be SORRY.

Awful place!
To add to the voices of dissent here (and burst some people´s bubbles!) I have to say that my experiences with the Hunt Club have been much less than satisfactory. The staff is apathetic to the needs of the patrons, the maintenance workers are often times quite clueless and must return several times to complete simple tasks (if they finish at all), and the layout and design of both the grounds and apartments is quite shoddy. I agree with the previous reviewer on many points, especially the coldness of the rooms. It´s not exactly pleasant to wake to a morning of work when your apartment is a breezy fifty degrees (and that´s being kind). Of the neighbors I´ve chatted with, the general consensus reflects my opinion in many areas. I know of at least ten people who have moved from the Hunt Club due to some or all of these concerns in the short time I have lived here. I hope this review gives some insight to people who are considering re-locating to the Hunt Club, and I wish I had known about programs such as this webpage before I made my move.

Great Place to Live
Nice safe area, beautiful grounds, and many ammenities. Somewhat expensive, but worth the money. A little far away from the city, but close to many different shopping centers.
