I have enjoyed living...
I have enjoyed living at Madison at Hunt Club. My only wish is that updates were/are made to existing apartment homes and not put off till the tenant moves out and then it is remodeled.

Very pleased with staff . They are always very nice and attentive to any needs. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The only negative to living at Hunt Club has been our upstairs neighbors. We are working professionals who unfortunately get up early for work. When we get in the shower and run the bathroom fan, they will quite often start stomping on the floor. I'm sorry if our work schedule disturbs their sleep, but this is to be expected if you live in a complex with many working people. We follow all the rules of the complex and pay our rent on time. We should not have to be subjected to the pounding on our ceiling. They have also complained about our 2 little dogs who sometimes bark. That also leads to ceiling pounding. They may want to consider a complex that does not allow pets or working people. None of this is Hunt Clubs fault and would recommend living there to anyone.

Way too little apartment for too much money - paying for the location. The color scheme of the apartment and the number of trees made the interior very dark and dreary on the brightest of days. Storage space is minimal at best. Be prepared for fruit flies, spiders, mosquitoes and every other type of bug during the spring/summer/fall. Construction is shoddy - you can feel the air coming in all over the place, which makes energy efficiency almost impossible to maintain. Plus, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing - and, I mean EVERYTHING. Staff is courteous to your face, mostly. As for maintenance - great bunch of guys. I did have a significant mold problem that resulted from a leak that dropped on of my bedroom ceilings. It was never really remediated properly. Snow removal is abysmal at best - non-existent at worst. There were always lights that did not work, and it seems very dark and unsafe at night. I couldn't care less about the pool, either. I would not recommend this place. There are cheaper alternatives with better and brighter layouts, and you will definitely get more bang for your buck if you don't get sucked in to the "beautiful" scenery and location.

My fiance and I have been living here for about 3 months. As a first time renter, I was very nervous and anxious about finding the "perfect" apartment for myself, him, and our little puppy. Seeing how he is a student at Temple and I am a teacher, we both needed a space that was quiet and in a great location. Since we have been here I have to say all my expectations of living in an my first apartment have been met! We were first met by Sarah in the leasing office. She was extremely patient with me and answered every question that we had. When it was time to sign a lease she walked us through each section since it was our first time. Still to this day, she always says hello to us and talks with us like we were best friends. I hope she knows how thankful I am to have worked with her, and not just her but everyone in the office has been more than accommodating. Next, our only maintenance issue so far is that our outside lightbulb blew out. They fixed it right away and if there is any simple thing the staff is always around to help out and they are willing to as well. Last, I love the feel of the apartment complex, it does not feel like an "apartment" but a home. The grounds are kept beautifully, the atmosphere of the club house feels like an extended livingroom, and there are tons of doggie bag spots around which is great for dog owners. A note that I have to also comment on is that with Hurricane Sandy coming through the east coast, the area was attended to right away. We were lucky that we only lost power for a day and a half; which is not Madison's fault. Although, it was much appreciated that they kept people informed of the issues that were going on (ex. falling tree branch)and that the club house was open for those who needed to recharge a cell phone or laptop. Lastly, the area around the complex is wonderful. Since I am a female... there are 5 malls within 20 minutes from my apartment! Wonderful! There are several grocery stores, restaurants, and shops within a mile or two. Also, for our little puppy there is a great dog park just 3 minutes away which is kept in great condition and has friendly dogs and owners! Overall, our experience with Madison at Hunt Club has be a dream come true! The only downside is that our neighbors can not park straight, but was addressed by the staff to the whole complex. :)

we have moved here in May and my wife and I have very much enjoyed our stay here. We appreciate the services they provide and safe environment that this community offers. We did have a couple of incidents where the neighbor's noise and behavior raised our eyebrows but overall we are content.

I've lived here for 6 months and really enjoy living here. Pro's: Location - for me, the proximity to work doesn't get any better. You're right on 309 and have a lot of choices for groceries, clothing, and dining. Safety - I've seen cops just driving through the area making sure everything looks normal and the apartments are in a great area and backup to million dollar homes. The parking lot is really well lit. Management - I haven't really had any issues to deal with since everything has been great in the apartment, but when I speak to Maggy, Sarah, and Ben, they're always really friendly. I mainly speak with Sarah and Ben and they remember my name and treat me great as if they actually want the tenants to be happy. Some other places I looked at really don't seem to care about anything but the paycheck they get from the lease. These three really treat you well. Management - They keep the property clean! There are doggy pickup bags all over and if you don't pick up after your dog, they'll actually send out an email saying that whoever is not picking up the mess needs to start. They'll also send out emails for lost (or found) pets, which I think is a nice comfort for a pet owner. Payments - Can be made online automatically FiOS - I love FiOS, so many friends without it seem to have issues with internet, but you can get FiOS here and I absolutely love it. Neighbors are friendly Parking - 4 spots per apartment, means ample parking. Cons: Lack of activities - There is a real lack of activities to meet people at the community. Sporting events are looked over, and there may be an occaisional event, but they've all be at odd hours when most people can't attend - during the weekdays from 2-4. Gym - It's really basic. They've got free weights, a couple treadmills, and a couple of ellipticals. That's pretty much it. Other: I'm not sure if I just didn't see many, but there seem to be few single young people here. There are a bunch of families with young to high school aged kids, or older people here, but finding someone to hang out with around college or just out of college age isn't exactly easy to do here. Also lack of activities doesn't help. Perhaps it's the high rent keeping a lot of younger people away, but I was hoping to be able to meet more people than I have. Overall great place, never had any bug issues, and maintenance - while I haven't really needed them - responds to requests very quickly. I'd recommend living here.

Comfortable and Convenient
I have lived here for two years and am very pleased with the accommodations. The rooms are spaceous and comfortable. The office staff are always very pleasant, and the maintenance staff are helpful and prompt. The grounds are maintained well, and it is very scenic. The location is wonderful for me because it is close to where my house used to be, so the transition to an apartment was convenient because I was still close to my friends and an area that I am familiar with. It is also close to highways, shopping, and many restaurants.

Glad We Moved Here!
We love our new place!! Just moved here from the west coast and never even saw the apartment before we arrived for our move-in. The application process was easy and smooth and the staff sent us great pictures of our place when it was completed. Love the fireplace and the big balcony overlooking a wooded area. It is so quiet here! Looking forward to the pool opening this month. Very excited about the Whole Foods down the street.

Great Place and Great Staff
Hunt Club has a lot to offer- it is convenient to major highways, shopping, groceries stores and a movie theatre. The pool is quite nice. Grounds are always neat and well landscaped. They are located near a beautiful park and running trail. Utilities are low. Water Pressure in the shower is excellent! Mailboxes are located near the doors in common areas which is convenient. The walls come painted in a warm, off-white that allows for some nice decorating choices and is not the typical 'stark', blinding white that you see in many other places. The Management Team really does a great job trying to build a sense of community and they handle things timely and appropriately. They are extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to help. Any issues that require maintenance are usually addressed immediately and thoroughly- the Maintenance is very good and professional. The only thing that I think is worth mentioning that could be improved is it would be nice to have garbage disposals in the kitchen- it could help cut down on clogged drains and calls for the plumber, so would be a win-win for Hunt Club and the tenants.

Bugs Beware! No PLace To Live
Bugs beware. This is no way to live. The apartment complex seems nice on the outside, but not so great on the inside. Worst of all management doesn't seem to care about anything other than money. I strongly do not recommend this place. Beware! The prices are high and the only thing they care about is getting paid. Except management to care - not likely.

Don't give them a deposit, you'll never get it back!
I filled out an application and gave a $200 deposit to hold it. When I found another apartment that was available first I asked for my deposit back. I was told it would take about four weeks. It has now been SEVEN weeks and I cannot get anyone to call me back, respond to my emails.... Don't give them a deposit unless you are willing to never see the money again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current Resident Keeping it honest! Great location but expensive and got maintenance issues
Some of the apartment in 1st floor have water clogging issues. I experienced it when I lived in this apartment. Dirty Water overflowed into my closet. To summarize about this community. This is what I noticed Here are the pros/ cons you might want to keep in mind before moving in. Pros: Nice location. Nice looking apartments/ amenities. Cons: Expensive (High rent). No Garbage Disposal Unit (Grinder) in the kitchen sink. If you choose to live in 1st floor apartment in Ground floor chances are that your apartment face the same situation as mine. No Microwave Oven as well.

Overall, a positive experience!
I have lived here about a year and a half. The place was FILTHY when I moved in! I had to scrape stuff off the floors with my fingernails. That first day, I thought I had made a horrible mistake by moving here. But I was completely wrong. My experience here has definitely been a positive one. I am a single woman in my 30s, and I have always felt safe here. It is extremely rare that I am unable to park right outside my door. Noise has never been an issue. When I am in my apartment and my neighbors are in their apartments, I don't hear a thing. And maintenance is always quick to respond to any problems. For the price of the apartment, I wish I had more modern appliances and better flooring in my kitchen. But the appliances work, and no apartment is going to be perfect. Of the apartment complexes I have lived in, this one is by far the best!

Much better options out there
We moved in to this place on 8/20 and by 8/25 we had broken our lease. That is how desperate we were to leave Madison at Huntclub. The leasing staff are about as efficient and helpful as a bunch of teenagers. They commuicate with you by constantly sticking notes and flyers in your door. We had a bottom floor apt and our kitchen sink would back up with the upstairs neighbors dirty water everytime she did laundry or ran the dishwasher. Lauren from the office didn't think this was an issue that really needed to be addressed and wanted us to wait an entire weekend to have maintenance come out. We mentioned board of health and lo and behold, maintenance was there in 20 minutes. Lauren had such an attitude like we were bothering her. Maintenance was there about 4 times the two months we lived there and the problem still existed when we moved out. Also, they don't paint in between residents. I have never lived somewhere that didn't paint the enitre apartment in between residents. Also, the apartments get absolutely zero sunlight. If you like cave dwelling, Madison is for you. Overall, for the astronomical rent they charge, they leave A LOT to be desired.
