I love it. The community is very quiet. Glad I moved here. Would definitely recommend this apartment complex to friends and family. The management and maintenance team are exceptional they get things done in a timely manner.

It's been cool. The water bill is outrageous, it would be a lot cheaper if it was in my name. The cabinets are out dated and the carpets need to be changed. I do like the smart home and having access.

The staff are extremely nice And helpful. The community is well kept. The units themselves aren't updated and the rent is higher than what it's worth. Bugs are an issue as well. Mainly spiders and ants.

It's quiet, close to the lake, and has a couple necessities within walkable distance. Other than maintenance outsourcing a problem that cost me five weeks with no lights, it's been mostly fine. Unremarkable, but not necessarily in a bad way. There were some minor damages when I first moved in but the turnaround time was so fast I'm honestly impressed it was in as good of shape as it was.

Everything was what we imagined. Nice people very hands on when it comes to maintenance they get things done very quickly. When you need help people on the portfolio is very friendly with helping other people in the community

In the last 6 months the laundry services have gone from 1.25 to 1.75 and now 2.00 to wash one load of laundry is ridiculous for those of us who have opted out of having in unit washer/dryers. The new smart home system that was installed is essentially useless and a waste of electricity. There is no reason to even use it when the light switch's it controls are right next to the panel and the thermostat that it also controls is 10 steps away. The lock on the door it controls is also right next to the system on the wall. It's literally completely useless and barely works half the time as it has issues connecting to the internet and appears to just be an excuse to raise rent prices for an essentially useless device. Furthermore the pool being closed for roughly two weeks because one of the tenants decided to break the rules is not fair at all to the thousand other people who live in the complex that were not apart of that. As we know there are surveillance and it is stated in the lease that you can have your privileges taken away of using the amenities so taking that privilege away from the people who did not do that is not justified. Obviously they needed to be cleaned and ensure there was no glass left there but the email we received about the situation where they threatened to close down the pool for the rest of the summer was not the most community oriented way to have handled that situation and management should try harder to phrase emails with less negativity when directing the message towards the entire complex.

If you have Pets, don't stay here.
First and foremost, if you have a pet, do not rent from this property. They will charge you full price for the carpet replacement (Even though you have paid the pet fee [$300] and continuous pet rent.). On moving in, I had issues with my door latching, I had to request twice over my first week for them to fix the latch on the door. The first time the maintenance person just put in different screws into the latch and the door wouldn't close period. After they finally got the latch to barely work, I had to request for 3 months for a bar to secure the sliding glass door (provided to other apartments, just conveniently missed mine?). They do a "background check" on potential residents. The background check only checks for your name and birthday, so be warned if you have a generic name. This background, income, and credit check, though, seemed to have not been needed for my neighbors upstairs. Having 5 people living in a 1 bedroom apartment above you for over a year was Incredibly fun (Sarcasm is definitely intended). Despite repeated complaints of fire hazards (throwing lit cigarettes into the bushes below) or having to listen to the lovely 2 AM screaming matches outside of your window; I'm glad to see that background check and credit check totally did it's job. Maintenance is competent of anything that doesn't require something past the bare minimum of work. You cannot trust them to check the dog bags (something that you'd assume the Pet rent and Community Fee would be covering.) In the winter, you will be facing walkways that the maintenance team (nor the Property Manager/Assistant Manager) will salt or clean. During all of this, you will be given the excuse of "Our team is very busy right now" and effectively be on your own. They will (after 10 months of badgering them to finally do it.) Replace the front door that was not working properly! It still will have a gap you can see through on the frame, but they (as the assistant property manager was very big on telling me) did replace it!. They'll insult you the entire time, but they'll replace it. They use the "Smart Home" system, and will go into your apartment (sometimes it'll tell you that they went in.. sometimes not). Sometimes the doors will lock (It definitely wasn't doing it right on ours but I think that was the door itself.) As stated previously, They will charge you for the carpet. This wouldn't be an issue except they'll try to pass off some carpets as being new and will charge you the full amount of it. Can't really change that, so just be prepared for those "hidden fees". Pest control... It's kind of lackluster. Spiders will still get into the apartment without fail, and I would still have the occasional roach appear (Always in the bathroom tub though. Mostly because the giant gap in between the Shower/tub insert that was improperly placed). I had to request multiple times for them to caulk holes and gaps that they never did. The Area is nice, though trying to leave during the summer is a nightmare due to Old Hickory being jammed by people wanting to get to the lake. The lake nearby is great with great dogparks though. The Complex grounds though.. The "car washing station" is a non working vacuum and a hose. Worth the community fee. The Dog park is a strip of ground that, while fenced in, is kind of a joke considering the amount of usable land. The Grills are always disgusting, and that includes the "nice" ones at the pools. The pools are alright and the "fitness center" has some nice machines but limited. The Laundry rooms are lacking. The one next to the mailbox was always having busted machines that never were even looked at, even when the laundry room had a busted pipe. The one next to the office was better. This is probably due to the adjacency to the office though. Now we come to the Office. Sariah, Vanessa, and Bryanna are great. They will try and help you, even though they are limited by the maintenance and managerial staff. Management, however, is lackluster. I would have to send multiple requests in for fixes, only to get excuses.

Good quite on our end. Good and fast help when something breaks or needs fixing. We feel safe with cameras and security. Very kind when we go by the office. Very neat out side. With flowers and gardening.

I do not recommend these apartments. I have had issues ever since moving in and the problem still hasn't been resolved. I have asked multiple times to either fix the problem or shorten my lease with no penalty and nothing. I will say maintenance is quick to fix issues and trash is picked up frequently from the dumpster.

Overall, it's been a very pleasant to live in this community. Even though the faculties are getting older, it is fairly well maintained. All concerns within my unit and immediate area have been taken care of in a timely manner.

Overall not a bad time at the apartment. I have had my car broken into twice resulting in 2K of loss and have been offered no compensation. That would be the only gripe that I would have with the living situation. I did wish the office stayed open later, working 7-5, I am unable to go to the office with any issues that I do have.

Very nice. Has two pools. Multiple laundry rooms. Fitness center. Mantience does come out eventually. Office sends notice in emails. No community events. Not gated. Enjoyed living here for the most part

Pretty quiet community, everyone enjoys their own space and I've never had any issues with disturbance from neighbors or while walking. Feels safe and MAA is very aware and accountable for things that occur in the community

Love the community and the ladies in the office. The mail and laundry area is close and they maintain a very clean environment here. The ladies are wonderful as they work with u when needed. The double pools is a wonderful idea as well!!!

My tour with Bryanna the Leasing Manager went wonderfully. She is very easy to speak to and very friendly and happy to answer questions. The property was well maintained and the show unit I saw had been updated very well so I am hopeful that my future unit will look just as nice. Overall I had a wonderful experience and am excited to begin the process of moving here.

Break ins for vehicles, electrical fires and lack of upkeep on appliances. Brown recluse issue in the summer. I cannot catch a break with this apartment. Renewed the lease once but will not renew next year.

The community and grounds are very pretty and well maintained and it has good amenities. I love the pools. The front office are extremely responsive and helpful, and maintenance takes care of work orders quickly.

They were very welcoming to my dog who is a pitbull, most places refuse him. They were all more than welcoming and very friendly to him as well

Rent raised with no additional amenities or updates to apartments. A lot of leaks and mold that rarely gets treated. Maintenance will only complete simple request. Anything that requires effort is neglected.
