re: Terrible Management. Agreed. They did the SAME thing to me!
This was actually in 1999, so they still must be doing the same thing. I didn´t find out until I went to get another apartment and they checked my credit that I found out about it. I needed the new apartment fairly quickly and they wouldn´t approve me until I paid Lincoln on the Green, so I was forced to pay without any opportunity for disputing it. I was never notified (even though the electric co. and phone co knew where to find me) and it was for over $300 for phantom ´kitchen cleaning´ charges and ´wall damage´ charges. STAY AWAY. It was nice while I lived their, but they got me after I left.

Terrible Management
The management at LOG is the absolute worse! Be extremely careful about them attacking your credit after you move out. They filed a claim against my credit for supposed carpet damage. Additionally, they charged me $75 for kitchen cleaning which was unfounded. I was never notified of any of these charges, I only discovered them upon running my credit for a home mortgage. These people are crooks and a pain to deal with to say the least. They made no attempt to help me resolve the problem or to correct my credit. Run for your life!

HELP ME!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I had a major water leak from the idiots upstairs who decided to run their washing machine without the hoses plugged in the right way. I got more water damage than they did. I called the office just to see if they could help out in any way, especially since I did not have any form of renters insurance. (Big Mistake, get the renters insurance if you can) Although they could not pay for anything of mine that was damaged, they did make accomodations for me while I had to stay out of my apartment during the process of walls being fixed and carpet being replaced. They didn´t have to do that for me, but they did. I really appreciate it.

Even government housing is better.
Clearly some of the worst management in the business.

The grounds are nice but if you move here pray that you never have occasion to call the office because they will not help you in the least.

This apartment is a nightmare, especially office staff. They are very rude and mean... Please get out from there as soon as you can, if not, ... may God have mercy on you!!!

ONE DRIVE IS ALL IT TAKES!!
All you need to do is drive through Lincoln on the Green and you can see that this is a well kept property. Even though it´s not Spring, all of thier flowers are blooming and the grass is just now turning green. There was absolutely NO trash on this property when we drove through. As we entered the office, we got the same effect, so we leased on the spot. They didn´t have several of the floor plans we were interested in because they were all occupied during the time we needed them, but they did find one that was a good fit for us, so we took it before someone else got is. They were extremely busy but took the time to sit down with us to find out exactly what we needed.

HASSLE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is I was in and out of there in less than an hour. They showed me exactly what I needed and they were ready for me as soon as I walked in the door. I was approved within 5 minutes and signed my lease the SAME DAY. No worry and NO HASSLE. They also said that if I didn´t LOVE my new home I could move. WOW!

Great Place To Live!
Very attentive staff. Always there to meet the needs of those who live here. I have never had a problem getting anything done. I haven´t been there very long, but I have the immediate impression that this staff has an extremely loyal group of residents. Like the entire property. My apartment is set back into a tree setting and I can see the golf course. Also, I work at the Fed Ex world headquarters, so I´m able to get to work in less than a minute. They also gave me a great employee discount. Wonderful, friendly staff. I´m here to stay.

Great Staff!!!!
I really want to express my feelings of thanks to the staff of L.O.G. I have come across hard times here lately and they really gave me a boost of self confidence. Not only do they manage the property, but they are a great group to lean on. I just wanted to say thank you.

RUFF! RUFF! SOMEONE MUST TAKE A STAND!!!!!!
Ok people, enough is enough! I mean really, you choose to live in an apartment, which means your gonna hear dogs, babies, fighting, etc. I´ve lived at Lincoln for EVER and a day and they have an outstanding staff over there in the office. Just because they can´t rid your problems overnight doesn´t mean they aren´t qualified to get the job done. These girls get verbally abused on a daily basis. For What? Because you don´t get your way? Come on. The residents of Lincoln on the Green have it made compaired to some other places I´ve lived at. That´s why when I moved here I knew I wasn´t going to leave.

Girls, you are doing a fine Job!
Beth
Kim
Amber
Ilene
Rachel
< there´s one more in there, but I can´t remember her name.

All you complainers should be ashaimed of yourselves!!!!!!!! Dear Anonymous: (Ruff Ruff)
Please tell me which building you live in and I will (every night for the next few weeks) stand outside your window about 12:00 AM and howl like a large dog. Let´s see how long you can stand it before you (A) Call the cops
or
(B) Call management

It is obvious that you are "friends" with the management and that they probably handle all of you issues immediately.

A few weeks without a good night of sleep and you get desperate for someone to help with your problem.

Funny how this problem was resolved soon after I posted my previous comment on this site. Since then L.O.G. has been A , FYI.

GREAT MANAGEMENT TEAM
I have lived at Lincoln for several years. I started out in the older phase, which was wonderful, but felt the need to transfer to the new phase. These apartments are awesome. I had the same problem with my screen door in phase, just like the previous person who wrote their comments. The only thing different was that I had no problem with management what so ever when I reported to them that my screen door was not working properly. It was simply stated to me that the older homes are nearly 14 years old. They are not able to replace the sliding screen doors due to the fact that they don´t make them to fit these doors anymore. Ok, no big deal. I have only had pleasant encounters with each and ever member of this management team. Beth, Kim, Amber, Rachel, way to go girls!

To the person with the sliding door problem:

OPEN A WINDOW FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!

One more thing, move to phase 2, there are no screen doors over there to give ya trouble.

Hard Management
The management is hard to deal with. My roof leaks since I moved in. They claim they fixed it 5 or 6 times, but whenever it rains hard, the roof leaks again.

My screen door to the porch fell down, but the management decided not to fix it because they couldn´t find a new one. However, they didn´t allow me to keep the old one either. Under my constant request, after about 2 months in summer without being able to open my porch door, they put in a new screen door. However, the screen door doesn´t fit because my door slides open from right to left, while the one they put on fits those sliding from left to right. So they had to put it on upside down. I wish there were a window in the living room so I didn´t have to deal with all these.

Usually the management people are unprofessional and do not know how to smile besides the Marketing Director.

I GOT MY MAIL!!
Ok, big deal, so we had to wait an extra day or two to get our mail. So what, I would have to say the office staff did an excellent job turning this around. As for not recieving notice, I did, it was posted the week before at the mail center. Some folks just don´t stop to READ what´s posted. Wow, what a job changing out all those boxes AND making sure everyone was issued the right keys. I say give them a big thumbs up and to those of you who had such a big problem with it, get a life!

WHERE IS MY MAIL!!!
Lincol On the Green Has decided that we needed new Mail boxes that I agree seemed to be due.

But before you change the lock and keep my mail for a week at least let me know. Im sure there is some type of law against holding on to others mail.

Everything else is ok other than you have to hound them when you need something fixed.

Very Impressive!
I just wanted to say that I do not live at Lincoln on the Green, yet, but I did call there today and I spoke to one of the managers. She was very friendly and I had asked her for an opinion on another property I was looking at because I needed a bigger apartment than what Lincoln on the Green could get me in to at the time. She explained to me that it was a really big decision on choosing where I want my family to live so she suggested that I a: drive through the property at night and then b: did I get a good feeling from the office staff. I would have to say that I was not impressed by the office staff of the other complex. I was impressed that the person I spoke with did not "bad mouth" the property I was talking to her about. After I got off the phone with her, I felt really good about the conversation, so I am going to go look at the apartments. Although it´s not as big as I wanted, I have 4 kids, I may go ahead and get an apartment there any way. Customer service goes a long way.

Thanks Lincoln!!!!!!

The view of the golf course is awesome!
I have just recently moved in to Lincoln on the Green. I had to do everything via fax, e-mail and telephone to lease the apartment because I was out of town and would need the place as soon as I arrived in Memphis. I got there late to move in so it was dark and I had no idea what kind of view I had out my living room window. When I woke up the next morning, I was mesmerized by the view of the golf course. If you like to golf, you know what I´m talking about. They even have the Fed Ex/St. Jude Classic here each June. I have just heard also that Lincoln on the Green has a HUGE party one of the night during the tournemant. I heard it kicks ace!

I love this place!
I have been searching for an apartment for 3 weeks now and I just couldn´t find what I was looking for. Finally I came across the complex of Lincoln on the Green. I had no idea they were even back there until a friend had mentioned the property to me and she used to live there several years ago. So, I went by and the staff was very nice and excited to help me. So here I am and here I will stay! Give them a call if you need a nice place fast.

WOW!!!!!
If you are looking for a quiet place to live, go to Lincoln on the Green. They do accept large dogs, which I figured barked alot, but so far so good. No barking problems. Very nice, professional staff. They are there to help you with just about anything!

Happy Home away from Home
I currently live at Lincoln on the Green, but my HOME is in California. I am based here with Federal Express and use Lincoln on the Green as my "crash pad", along with a couple other pilots. I love the property and when I drive home from a long day or two of flying, just the setting relaxes me. I often have to sleep during the day because of my flying schedule and have never had a problem with any noise. I have read some of the other comments on this web-site regarding the office staff. All I have to say is that those folks are either intimidated by beautiful people or they are upset over something very minute! I have spent numerous hours in the office getting coffee or using their fax machine, and I have heard some of the crap they have to put up with. If you are treated with rudness by this wonderful staff, you probably deserved it. They deal with alot of stuff, day in and day out.

I am completely satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Great Property Great Location on the TPC
I have lived at this facility twice. Both occasions were transitions, but both times were pleasurable experiences. Whether your looking for a short term or long term facility. This property is the place. Great staff willing to assist, and a good place to meet new people.

4 YEARS AT LOG
We lived at Lincoln for 4 years. Loved it from day one. I was so proud when my family came to visit. The guest suites and the resort style living were awesome. We moved out because we purchased a home. We received 1000.00 dollars from the company to go towards our down payment. Boy, that was great!!! Living off the beaten path was the right thing to do and now there is restaurants, stores, etc. near by. YEAH!!!

I lived at Lincoln on the Green for 5 years
I lived and enjoyed living at Lincoln on the Green for 5 years. They have a very attentitive staff who are always there to help. I would still live at Lincoln on the Green if I had not made the decision to purchase a home in Germantown. Get this, they paid $1000 towards my closing cost because I signed up for their home buyers assistance program when I moved in. It didn´t cost me a dime!

nice community - I liked living there
I liked living at Lincoln On The Green as long as I didn´t have to come in contact with the office staff for any reason. The community is really nice & I liked the area of Memphis where it is located.

The apartments are pricey - But you get what you pay for, right? They had so much more to offer than simply a spacious apartment - since the apartments are actually quite small. The property has a Great Gym, Tanning, & Great Tennis Courts, where we had loads of fun plying with friends on cool spring nights. There is also a large Laundry Facility, beautiful pools & the grounds are kept up very well & look beautiful all year around.

I would recomend living at Lincoln On The Green (if you can afford it) but beware & stay clear of the office staff...they are pretty rude & snotty.

They are kind of pricey for the space. The office has a high turn over of unfriendly personel. The property has really gone down hill over the last year as far as the quality of residents and the physical appearance of the community. The trash compactor is broken alot and trash is allowed to pile up. The staff ignores complaints about loud neighbors.
