It is a great place to leave I feel safe and happy living there. The place is very comfortable for me to leave, close to my job and we have some restaurants around, I an also go for a walk next to the river

When I first moved in to my apartment, the staff treated me with the upmost respected and address all my issues with the unit. My community understandsrespect of other's property and will not steal anyone's belongings. They also perform an excellent job keeping the outside of their apartment clean.

If you want attentive staff, ask for Geralyn Jones, she is exceptional. That is not to minimize the other staff, I just like to communicate with her. For the amount of rent one pays, you would expect better upkeep of maintenance issues e.g. HVAC. Rat infestation around garbage can receptical probably due to tenants throwing garbage on ground and not in bin. Too many car break-ins due to easy access of public to the complex. It appears everyone utilizes our amenities except the tenants.

I like riverset! The office ladies are all very nice and kind! The techies are professional and responsible! I like the sunset in the riverset so much~ However, The rubbish track is too nosiy in the early morning?

I really like the community as the apartment complex does feel similar to a camp ground. Although I have seen several break ins and my car personally has been broken into. There is security that drives around at night because of this issue. Also if you have a Honda that's a suv it is likely that your catalytic converter could be stolen. Other than that I do like these apartments.

HORRENDOUS so far honestly. Don't get me wrong, everyone here is super nice but my roommate and I have had an insane number of issues since move-in from our fridge not being cold, broken toilets, broken mailbox, a fallen closet shelf, leaking sinks, AND my car got stolen off the lot. Thankfully, these issues were all resolved, but there is an extreme lack of communication between management and residents.

Have been waiting too long for maintenance team to come to fix my washing machine. I tried to contact with the leasing office for several times and even emailed them, but the maintenance team came for once and said they would be back soon. And they didn't return to fix.

Before moving in I was warned by a coworker about break ins at Riverset and I asked when I moved in and the response I was given was that extra security measures had been put in place. Then over 40 cars were broken into in one night around the complex and days later we receive this heartless notice blaming the victims and taking no responsibility for the obvious lack of security. Take responsibility for your property and what happens on it. Apologize that this happened to some of your residents before making recommendations to not leave things out on your car seats and remember to lock your doors. Obviously doors were locked because they busted out windows and glass was everywhere! There is still glass in the parking spots closest to my apartment. Open all the pools fully including furniture and clean them regularly! Take care of the garbage issue before the compactor breaks instead of after. Fix the tree damage from the stroms. Hold events that caterer to the people who work too instead first come first serve; when handing out things save a portion for the after 5pm crowd so they don't miss out because they have jobs. Do standard routine pest control, instead of waiting for residents to ask. If I ask, but the apartments around me don't , we all still have bugs. Besides the windows never being cleaned or replaced, I will say all of my maintenance requests have been handled timely and professionally with little to no issues, so kudos to them and them only. I will NOT be renewing my lease.

Very quiet but too many cars are broken into. The property could use more security and more lighting. I would not be signing a new lease because I cant afford to buy windows and pay rent. It would be nice if the property could stay clean without over flowing garbage at times.

Location is great. Love the area. Very safe and close proximity to downtown. Great little area of upscale shops within close proximity. Apartment itself is not bad. Wish it was just a little bit cleaner upon move in. Pools and tennis courts are great amenities to have.

Do not move here. Cochroach problem. Front office is rude. I did not have A/C for 2 weeks filing multiple complaints. Also first day I moved in I did not have a restroom working so for 3 more days I had to drive down the road to use the restroom. Was told washer and dryers work great and now I have to send my laundry somewhere because I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get them to work. Ended up with wet clothes all over my apartment because their dryers hardly every work and just take your money. Also had a friend of mine moving in to Riverset that brought all of his belongings up here and his family to help him move in and they walked into the apartment with dead cockroaches everywhere. Trash, mold, and literally sewage leak. Not to mention requested non-smoking and it smelled like straight cigarette smoke. These are just a few of the issues. Not normally the type of person to say these things but Riverset has been an awful experience and I will not be living here again.

Most awful experience living at Riverset apt, I've been without air for 2 months, had to buy my own portable air conditioner, my window was busted, they told me crime has no zip code, Alexis the manager is a joke, obviously no idea what's she doing, I've been there 6 years, this is the worse it's ever been! Obviously due to management

Overall, this is a very nice community and I feel very happy living at Mud Island. My biggest complaint is maintenance, it takes a long time to get necessary repairs fixed, as we had three requests for nearly two months go untouched or unnoticed.

Terrible. At least one of the amenities are not functional. They never give you solid answers. Security lights are out and we were told we should call mlgw. Lots of water issues. Lots of car break ins. No security cameras or gate. Minimal security patrol. Pool rules not enforced. I would never recommend anyone live here for the price we pay.

Move-in went great and was very easy. The location is phenomenal the island has everything you need just a minute down the road. The only issue is with the maintenance team. We've been moved in for a week now and are still yet to even get a response about the things broken/missing in the apartment.

The application and move in process was wonderful thanks to Geralyn! However getting repairs done is a lengthy unpleasant process and the manager is disrespectful. I did the minor repairs myself, which left the washer to be repaired. This took almost a month.

Everyone basically minds there own business. The maintenance staff is always helpful and go out there way to help with issues that you might have. A I LOVE OFFICE STAFF ESPECIALLY GWENDOLYN, she is like a big sister ? always keeping me taking care of when I have issues and she is dependable.

We held our apartment for over a month, and we came from Missouri. when we got here, the back porch was filthy with trash all over it. they got that cleaned up, but once we got in we realized it was 83 degrees in the house. we didn't have AC for four days. they put my husband and i in a hotel, but the people helping us move (my parents, sister, and friends) all had to pay for their own room. our dryer was broken as well as our guest bathroom toilet. They've been apologetic and kind, but we've had an overall horrible experience. they offered to let us out of our lease, but we had no where else to go. once everything gets fixed, we will enjoy living here. until then, we are frustrated.

I love it so far! Apartment is clean and well kept. I don't love that there is no gate to the community, but I haven't had any issues so far. My neighbors are very nice and the leasing agent I worked with was very kind and helpful.

Poor maintenance, multiple crimes committed on the property in less than a year, derelict cars in the parking lots. Maintenance often takes a long time to respond to issues, even emergency issues have taken a day to get to. Numerous plumbing problems in our unit and adjacent units.

Very unprofessional. Worst move in experience I have ever experienced. Keys weren't ready upon move in. Apartment wasn't cleaned until I called and asked. The cleaners did the bare minimum. Broken glass in the carpet and mildew showers.

Very bad community. Rent is so high but the response from the management and leasing office people is very rude. Safety problems also there. Frequent breakin and theft going on. Management is not good at all.
