Nice Community, just poorly run
Pros: nice community atmosphere, fun community events, reasonably priced, some of the units are really nice Cons: poor management and maintenance. our first apt was very nice and "new" feeling, however after we transferred to a larger unit when one became available (sight unseen) and have regretted ever minute since. Our 'new" apartment is run-down (to put it nicely) and when we brought it to their attention we were just told "yeah, we are trying out a new make-ready guy". We have also discovered that our prior lease wasn't filled out completely nor explained to us correctly so what we thought was a pet deposit (1/2 refundable and 1/2 non) is actually a fee, which we have never experienced in our 10 year hx of apt living in Austin. Recently we get a notice on our door that we had a balance due on our account. The spot on the form where it says why was left blank (once again, an example of incomplete paperwork). So we went to office with a check in hand and inquired as to why we had a balance and NO one in the office could tell us. Even after pulling up our account on the computer there was no documentation of a balance due on our account. We were actually told it was probably an error and that the manager would call us the next day to confirm. It wasn't until I went through my bank records (because two months later we have still not been provided a copy of our current lease agreement, although we've asked twice) that I discovered that I had switched two numbers on the rent check resulting in an underpayment. Why it took the property manager to figure that out, is a little frustrating to say the least and probably a good example of the prior reviewers frustration as well. In fact, not once have we been able to walk into the office and have our question answered or issue resolved (once to pick up mail keys - because they gave us the wrong ones, once because one of our cards wasn't working, etc) without it taking more than one member of the staff (one of which is usually never there). So all in all, I think if you can avoid any professional dealings with the staff (because they are nice people just either poorly trained or managed - not improved by the recent turnover), make sure that you keep documentation of everything (maybe even have your lease reviewed by a third party before signing) and you view the unit you are getting before you move in, then I think you'll like living here.

Where to Start
Let me start by saying my issues are with the management/office staff at Artisan and then the general community itself. I lived here for a year and that was about all I could take of this place. I was never late on my rent so the Artisan had no issue there, however, to live at this community was to live a lie. The office staff only have a passing aquaintence with the truth. They will give you information and a day later never admit they ever said it. They constantly put you in the position of "my word vs your word" and guess who comes out the loser. I was constantly amazed the management company could recuit a steady stream of liars. As the turnover proceeded, I would hope that the new people would be better than the old people but it never happened. With each new "shuffling" of staff, a whole new set of liars would take up residence. You will never find ANYONE in the front office who cares about your issues outside of maintenance issues. This place is FULL of college kids who could care less they are living around anyone other than other college children. THere is a COMPLETE lack of respect for ANYONE. Overall this place gives you an education in everything you never wanted to know about how awful living in a place like this can be.

A Bunch of Used Car Salemen
Moving out of this complex was one of the best things I ever did. I concur with others that prior to signing the lease the staff was very friendly BUT - that's the LAST time you will find friendly, helpful or remotely knowledgable staff at this community. When I moved, they "misplaced" my forwarding address. Basically it was we don't want to have to deal with that part of managing the community. To this date i have never recieved ANY type of move-out inventory. Looks like we will be headed to court.

Nice apartment but noise is an issue
I've lived here for almost four years now. When I first moved in, it was a great little community and QUIET. As I am writing this, I am listening to the incessant beat of a base and loud college kids. I do not like coming home from a long day at work to listen to this and pay a recent hike in rent to do so. I do understand that there are some things that management cannot control but they can control who they choose to rent to, as they apparently did at one time (this was not an issue until the past few months living here). Now I feel I'm reliving my Jester Hall days at UT whether I like it or not. Regarding staff, I do miss Oscar as he was always very pleasant to work with. I haven't had any issues with the remaining staff and they've still been friendly with me. Unlike what I've seen in other reviews, I've never had a package lost, so that's a plus. The apartment I live in is very nice and maintenance has never been a problem...those guys have always been friendly and resolved any problems as quickly as possible. My AC has had issues a few times in the years I've lived here, but someone always managed to come out the following day and fix it. Last year my AC went out during the Summer months and mine wasn't the only one that went out. They still managed to get to my apartment within 24 hours and get the issue resolved. Overall, this place (like a lot of apartment complexes) has its strengths and weaknesses but lately the noise has really been a nuisance. I know that the cost of living always increases and knew my rent wouldn't always stay the same but I find that it's not worth paying more rent for a lower quality experience than when I first moved in here. If it doesn't improve, I will more than likely be looking for a new place when my lease is up. If things turn around, then I will definitely recommend this place but as of now, it's thumbs down.

Renewing our lease was the worst mistake
We first moved in Dec 2010. At first it was awesome. The management staff was amazing. You could always count on them to take care of you and have all the paper work together. We decided to move to a bigger apartment in the same complex once our lease expired. I should have paid attention to the signs right before we renewed our lease. Ever since they moved their management around it is one thing after the other. If it's not the fact that they are never at the front office, then they loose your paper work, the package slips never make it to your front door and you will never know you have a package until you walk yourself over to the front office.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!
There are so many other complexes to patronize - RUN!!! This one of the greediest apartment complexes that I have ever resided in. They have gone up on rent 4 years in a row. Not only that, when this was Jefferson Center, the carports were included in the rent. Now they require you to pay $35 for them - ridiculous!!!. And they wonder why people are moving out! The new staff is NOT friendly AT ALL, they are very rude and stand-offish. They get rid of the friendly staff members like Oscar and leave ---- retentive individuals like Brad, Sarah and Kelly. What is absurd is that they've gone up on rent only to do a total remodel on the leasing office which was a waste because it's so uninviting. Also, they will let ANYONE move in without verifying if they are the right fit for this community. When I moved in I understood this to be a corporate living atmosphere where I wouldn't have to worry about other tenants blasting music at 2 and 3 in the morning - WRONG! Some new tenants just moved in my building and they blast music all morning long! I call the after hours service number to no avail. I end up having to call the non-emergency Williamson County police number to get any assistance. Would you believe that when I complained to the office that they were blasting music at 8:30 a.m. a member of the staff came over and told me, and I quote "you have to understand that it's day time, if it was night time that would be a different story." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! That's how much they care about tenants that have lived here for a long period of time. She basically told me that I had to deal with it to which I responded I have rights just as they do and their music shouldn't infringe upon my rights to be in my apartment and not be disturbed by music. That's one of the first things you should learn as an apartment lessor, I mean really. The walk ways are filthy! They allow people to park on the outside of their garages which blocks the drive ways and makes it difficult to maneuver through the parking lot. They could care less about the tenants and more about the money. This is even more evident by the fact that you are REQUIRED to obtain apartment insurance or else you can not live here. I take issue with this only because they want you to put the Artisan on your policy as the recipient or the insurance. Almost forgot, let's not forget the water policy. They (the apartment complex) determines your bill. OK let me explain, basically the water for the entire building (no matter how many tenants are in your apartment) is split amongst all of the tenants which I think is completely unfair. If there are 4 tenants in one apartment and 1 in another, I don't believe that the apartment with 1 tenant should pay the same at someone with 4 tenants as they obviously are going to use more water. That's crazy! We used to pay for the water we used when we received individual bills but they (The Artisan) decided to move to this completely unfair method of water payment. Again, don't move here, it's more of an unfair hassle than anything else. One more thing, they LOSE/STEAL your packages! I had two packages delivered to me which were taken to the office. When I went to retrieve my packages I was told they had no recollection of said packages and that there were no packages in the storage room. When I asked the leasing associate how they keep track of everyone that picks up a package, she obtusely said to me, "we know everyone that picks up packages". REALLY!!! So she basically said that she knows everyone who picks up packages. Which translates into there is no set process or method for insuring that you will receive your packages. They don't take down names or verify that the person picking up the package is indeed the owner of the package. Therefore your packages are probably better off being sent back to the post office as this group of individuals in the Artisan office are totally inept. And people wonder why America has fallen so low in the education rankings among countries. =/ I have lived here for 5 years and as the years have continued, the staff has gotten worse! The customer service is completely non-existent and the price is not worth it. I now pay 840 as of this year and I WILL NOT be resigning my lease because it's no longer beneficial to pay rent as it is now more beneficial for me to buy a home. They do not care about you as a tenant,so don't waste your time looking for an apartment here. In closing, I will say that the ONLY positive point is some of the maintenance staff. I say some of them only because my apartment was painted and it was poorly done. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT MOVE HERE it's not worth the money or dealing with the rude, unfriendly, unhelpful and inept staff!

Overall a great property
I lived here for six months in 2011 and overall it was a great place to live. Pros: Huge square footage 1 bedrooms (there were tons of floor plans to choose from) Restaurants and stores literally right below you to go to Never heard my neighbors (unless they were on their balcony at night but that didn't really bother me) GREAT up to date appliances Maintenance was fantastic and always fixed the problem. The property manager is awesome and always helpful. Cons: Noise. This obviously is not management s fault; it s pretty much unavoidable in any apartment you live in and the fact that it s right off of Parmer Lane and my apartment was one of the closest apartments to the main road but when some cool kid decides to speed 70mph on their motorcycle K at 3 in the morning, that s annoying. Another reviewer is correct in that you could guarantee the cops would be there at least once a week for some sort of disturbance complaint, etc. The concrete hallways and stairways were always extremely dirty and I never once saw them power wash or clean them when I lived there. And the most frustrating this about living here was my neighbors who would smoke IN THE HALLWAYS all day, everyday and throw their cigarettes on the ground. I just can t tolerate that type of stuff. But overall, I would recommend this place.

It's difficult to express to people how accurate the negative reviews area regarding Artisan. The issues stated ARE consistent at this property. I lived at Artisan for only one year which was a VERY long year. The office personnel are about as unprofessional as one could imagine. Up to the point you sign your lease they are very friendly but you find once you move in, that friendly, helpful attitude was only a calculated act. Communication between residents and personnel is non-existent. The information you do receive is often times incorrect or inaccurate. When mistakes are made on the part of management, there is NO effort to correct the mistake. If it costs you extra money, so be it, that's your problem. As for the related noise -- the apartments walls and floors are paper thin and there is NO consideration by any of the college kids on the upper floors to keep in mind that not everyone doesn't have class until 11am in the morning. While I was living at Artisan, the police responded to calls of one type or another on a weekly basis, usually multiple times a week. Be careful if you rent a garage as that is a TOTALLY SEPARATE LEASE which they DO NOT inform you of at signing. So not only do you have a standing lease on your apartment, you also have one on your garage, parking space or storage unit. A stated multiple times here, move-out is nothing less than a total nightmare. I had neighbors who hired a professional cleaning team to clean their apartment and Artisan management still attempted to charge them nearly $1000 and refused to return ANY of the pet fee. If you move in with a pet, YOU WILL get at least a $1000 bill when you move out -- that is a given and I've known NO ONE this has not happened to. PLEASE --- DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY !!!!!

I like it.
I've lived here for a little while now and have had no problems. I think it's a shame that most of the people that take the time to review anything in general is only when they are mad about something. I saw the previous reviews on parking, sound, etc and think to myself...have I ever lived in an apartment where I didn't occasionally hear the people beside me or above? No. And I've lived in quite a bit of apartments. All apartment complexes experience parking issues as well. It's just usually how they all are. I'm just sayin. It is an apartment people not a house. And most of the time if you are hearing your neighbor, it's because they are blaring their tv or stereo, it's their fault, not the people that work in the office. At least I have someone to call to tell them versus confronting them myself. Also, I saw the review about someone being upset that they were contacted about their dog being off a leash? Well duh, if I see that happening, I will report you too. I've seen several dogs attack people randomly, how are we to know if your dog is sweet or not? I mean come on. Yet, yeah go on here and give the place a bad review because of something that you did. People never want to be responsible and it is never their fault. I work in customer service so believe me, I know how "we" generally are. I love that we have a couple of places to eat on the property and I can go to the dentist that's right here. I do not have to rush to get there in the morning, it's just a block away! Having a dry cleaners here is great too and they are very reasonably priced! I recommeneded the place to my niece and she had her wedding dress altered there and it was under $70. I'm told that's a steal compared to most wedding dress places. I haven't had to request maintenance so much but when I did report something it was usually fixed the same day I called depending on the time it was. I do think having to pay $5 a month for pest control is a little much but I did have some ants one time and pest control was called out on a different day than they normally come out and resolved the issue which was nice. The staff are always nice enough to see if I have a package in the office when I call and ask. I plan on staying here for a while. I'm tired of moving and it's been one of the best places I've lived at. My lease is ending soon and I did see that the rent is going up but I have a friend that lives down the street in a smaller apartment and his is still $20 more than what I will be paying. Austin seems to be on the rise and it's all about supply and demand.

Noise can't live with
All the good things about these apartments are good only for apartments on the 3rd Floor. If you rent the ground or the 2nd floor ones, you are in for big trouble. The Noise you get from apartments above is unbelievable. Even if the people above carry on with their normal activities the noise is really really loud. They flush the toilet you hear the waterfall, they make love you hear the thumping and they walk around the apartment you hear the thuds. And the worst of all is there nothing anyone can do about it. Because I think, the buildings are built that way. So rent only top floor apartments. Else take my word and go somewhere else.

Better than I would have thought...
I was skeptical of Artisan when I moved in, but feel like it was an incredible value! The negatives: parking non-existent after 10pm, even on a weeknight, very basic landscaping, poor insulation from the heat. The positives: active community social activities, nice pool area/24 hour gym, very prompt maintenance (especialy in emergencies), friendly staff, great value per square foot, friendly neighbors. There are a large number of fmailies living in the community, so beware of children bouncing basketballs around and playing outside your unit. I did feel like a crotchety old man telling them to get off my lawn. That said, I was sad to leave. Very nice community.

Untimely Timing
I misfortunately live at the Artisan and I can't help but notice the the three very quick "positive" comments came right as they were doing massive staff changes because of all of the issues that have gone on around this community. The staff has changed but changed starts from the top and unfortunately the person with the negative attitude is still in the office. We still ove cops here at least 4 to 5 times a week to bust up some fight or going on. We still have the kids at the pool until 5am with their boom box. The lack of interest by the staff in the funcionality of the commuity is unbelievable. All they do all day long is sit in the office so they can talk and taxt on their cell phones. The staff does NOTHING for the residents and if they throw a Saturday free breakfast, you better get down there within the first 10 minutes or the food is gone and within 5 more minutes they have cleaned up and left. It's plainly obvious that their responsibilities to these functions are a burden to them and they let everyone know it in the manner in which they conduct themselves. If you have half a brain in your head, do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache of living in what will become the worst place you ever lived.

Great Staff
We just leased an apartment at Artisan and I have never seen a more friendly staff in an apartment office before. They are very helpful as I am not very good at leasing an apartment since I haven't rented one in 15 years. The apartment I leased is unlike no other floor style I have seen, and I am very excited to move in. Thanks so much for making this an easy transition for me!

Why all the bad reviews? We love it.
My husband and I have been living here for about 3 months now, and it's the best apartment complex we've ever lived in so far (but that's easy since we moved from International Residences and Middle Brook Gardens before that). In either case, we intend to stay in these apartments for another few years (provided rent doesn't go up much) until we find a house. I'll start with my few complaints. The hallways through the complex in between apartments have ceiling fans to keep air flowing though and provide good lighting, but the unstained concrete floors and stairwells are porous and hold on to dirt. They rinse them about once a month (I hear the shop vac/power washer), but they don't stay clean. If management reads this, know that staining the concrete would be cheap, make it easier to clean, resist dirt, and give a nicer presentation. The concrete is functional and perfectly fine, but no body likes walking through a dirty hallway several times a day. It's an disappointing contrast to the rest of the well kept complex. The hallways and stairwells feel a little neglected in general. For instance, the light fixtures in the stairwells are hanging by threads (I'm sure people knock into them when moving big furniture through). But I guess management doesn't notice, since they'll often stay broken for a several weeks at a time. Recessed lighting would have been a better choice than standard outdoor plastic lights. Another minor complaint is the lack of information on their website. Even our previous cheap apartments had ways to submit maintenance requests and pay rent online. But Artisan's site doesn't even list their pet policy (it just says they're "pet friendly"). This means walking down to the office or calling, where the staff is very friendly and helpful when they're not busy. But over all, my complaints are very minor. The main reason I mention them is because of how high rent is and how nice the complex is. While most of the complex is great, it feels like a few things could be brought up to par. It also seems like management is pretty good about reading through these reviews and genuinely cares about improving the complex. Anyway, back to reviewing the Artisan. The staff was great in helping us pick out which apartment we wanted. We told them our price range, and they showed us nearly 10 different layouts that fit our needs and price. We narrowed it down to two, and they were able to show us both of the actual apartments that we could rent, as well as a show apartment. It was nice to see *exactly* what we would be renting. Once we made our decision and began moving in, we were given a standard form to fill out the current condition of the apartment. The day after I turned in the move in form, I returned to the apartment to find a sheet of paper on the kitchen counter detailing all the things the maintenance guys had fixed that morning, even the minor things, like a squeaking sliding door. The only unattended issue was the missing washer and dryer. But that afternoon I received a call from the staff apologizing for the inconvenience (they didn't have any available). They promised it would be installed within a week, and that they would refund the washer/dryer rental fee each day we spent without them. They kept their promise, and it was installed within a few days. About a month ago, we received an email from the Artisan staff asking, "How are the little things?" They wanted to know if there were any minor issues with the apartment, and encouraged us to respond. We mentioned that the weather stripping on our balcony door had a small gap in it, something we wouldn't have bothered calling in about. But the next day a very polite and quick-working maintenance man showed up and redid the stripping on the door. Maintenance has continued to surprise us with their timeliness. Even when our freezer started to lock up last month, they were very quick to respond and didn't hesitate to replace the part to ensure it wouldn't reoccur. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm really surprised that so many people seem to be complaining about noise. Maybe we just got lucky, but we haven't heard any of our neighbors yet. But we're on the top floor and next to a stairwell, so effectively, we only have one potential neighbor. in either case, I think we have a police man or guard of some kind on site, so a quick phone call should end any noise complaints. But none of the businesses down stairs make any noticeable noise. And though we can here the traffic on Parmer, that's something we expected since we saw the apartment before we moved in. But it's very quiet at night, and during the day it's just white noise, barely louder than the air conditioning or my computer. I also read some complaints about the staff. I haven't had any problems with them. Evey time I call in, they're quick to answer my questions or send out a maintenance guy. Whenever I pick up a package, they're very cordial. As for the quality of the apartment, it's great. While the carpets weren't new (a small stain here and there), they were definitely professionally cleaned before we moved in, as was the rest of the apartment. There is nice tile in the kitchen, bathroom and entry. I like not having to deal with easily stained linoleum. The counters are laminate, but hide dirt well. The windows are thick, and the apartment stays cool throughout hot days. So far, our electric bill is nearly half of what it was at International Residences (who has TERRIBLE insulation). All of the appliances are by GE and are fairly new and work very well. There's a water filter and ice maker in the fridge. And there is a large 1000 watt microwave. My point is, they didn't cheap out when putting the apartment together. But there was one little quirk I ran into: they used metal studs to frame the windows, which meant I had to avoid the studs when hanging curtains. Also, no bugs! I've only seen one fly, which probably sneaked in when I opened the door. And the dumpsters are away from the buildings hidden behind a little fence. It's a bit out of the way, but it's better than having to stare/walk past them all the time. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, with covered spaces near the back. They also have garages for rent, but we don't bother. We never have to fight for parking, even with the restaurants and other businesses there. The Artisan is also constantly doing events. I've never bothered going to any of them, but they seem very family friendly. As for the gym, it's a little small, but the machines are in good condition. It's also well ventilated and kept clean. Overall, I would definitely suggest these apartments to anyone who can afford them. However, don't let the price scare you away. They have some very nice small apartments that have room where it matters. We happily moved from a 3 bed 3 bath to a 2 bed 1 bath. I'm not sure why people are complaining; I've lived in much worse.

In Agreement with Reviews
How unfortunate that the negative comments about this property are all SO very true. It's difficult to imagine a property can be managed SO poorly. When you come in to lease everyone just trips over themselves to be warm, friendly and helpful but that is the LAST time you will ever see that attitude. Once you are in, it's more like being in a gestapo concentration camp. They will do what they want, when they want and only IF they want. You might as well be given an inmate number. As for the "social gatherings" -- those last about 15 minutes. If you arrive 30 minutes after the posted start time, everything is cleaned up, put away and not a member of management is to be found. MOST unfortunately I am still a resident in this pit. I have a number of things that have been broken in my apartment but won't call in a work order because I don't want these people in my apartment. Glory will be the day I get to thumb my nose at these people and the 700 college kids that live here. If you are in college, it's like a big, huge dorm here and you might just love it, until the day you move out and you get your bill for some $500 - $1000 "misc" damages. They like to use residents who either 1 - have pets or 2 - who happen to be the second or third resident in the apartment as an excuse for YOU to pay to recarpet the apartment. They will NEVER pay to fix/replace ANY wear or tear items, YOU get to pay for them and they are like little bulldogs about it too. If you have one OUNCE of good, common sense, you will find some place else to live. It is NOT WORTH THE MONEY you will pay for the miserable experience you will have while you live at this property. I post annonymously because of the degree of relatiation present within the management staff.

management noise fees = highly DISsatisfied
If I could give this complex zero stars, I would without hesitation. My biggest complaint is with management. The entire time I lived here I had to put up with noisy neighbors playing loud music at all hours. The neighbors above me woke me up out of my sleep nearly every night with loud conversations on their balcony (which was right below my bedroom window). Complaints to management went on 'deaf ears'. Eventually I had to call the police in order to get temporary relief from the late night noise. Management also charged me a late fee for a carport THEY undercharged me for. When I called for clarification, I was addressed with an extremely condescending tone. Like the renter above, I also had similar charges with regards to my pet. I guess being a responsible pet owner and adding my dog to my lease doesn t pay? I personally called to the office to speak with management about the outrageous move out charges (that was several days ago). Since then I have left additional messages, still no call back. As a result, I made sure to call my realtor to share my concerns/experiences at Artisan with her...after all 'word of mouth' is how I came to rent at such a place.

I would just like to warn pet owners about moving here. I was charged a $350 pet fee which is nonrefundable. Not only so, but to this day I still have not received a clear answer as to what the pet fee covers or is used for. I say this because I was also charged $10 monthly pet rent. But the scandal does not stop there. Once I moved out, I was sure the fee would be used in some aspect toward normal wear & tear caused by having a dog. Not true, a month after move-in I received a bill for $125 for pet treatment & heavy scrub on high traffic areas. So take warning ....you WILL pay nearly $600 (pet fee pet rent carpet cleaning) just because are a pet owner. Not only do I now feel taken but the leasing staff/management are less then friendly..more along the lines of condescending. I would not suggest moving here if you are a pet owner as you will be out of pockets hundreds and treated rudely by staff.

Does it get much WORSE?
I wouldn't even know where to start. I have only lived here for about 4 months and DEEPLY regret my expeditious decision to move in here. I did learn to NEVER lease an apartment without seeing it first. What was supposed to be a nice, roomy apartment is miserably small with areas ill positioned. The staff is atrotious. They selectively apply the community rules as they see fit and to whom they choose to apply them too. They allow vehicles to park in fire lanes day in and day out. I finally had to put a stop to that matter as the people in the office seemed to be completely unable to handle the matter. They will access your apartment without informing you they are entering your apartment and, get this, they are just as likely to jump on your patio and take your personal property - I know this first hand, they did it to me. The later matter I am dealing with currently. If you are wise, head the negative comments residents have posted, they are certainly NOT without merit.

A big giant meh
We spent a year here, and within a month were wishing we went somewhere else, but it wasnt bad enough that we were kicking ourselves forever. The rent was decent for what we got. It was the cheapest for a 2 bedroom of anything around. Bedrooms were a good size but the living room might as well be a glorified hallway. Tile was stained in the bathroom when we moved in. Best thing about the place was when we had an issue, maintence fixed it. Our AC unit went out and within afew hours of reporting it they had fixed it. The actual staff was generally okay, but they had times where they just flat didnt care about the request I would make and this would be confirmed when i went in by other people to follow up. I went in 4 times to have the accent wall paint fixed. The 3rd time they told me they were out of paint, and when I went in a day later the lady told me that was just a flat lie. Parking sucks if you get off past 8PM like I did, and it would be a lucky day to get anything around my building. If you got off at a normal time, then you'd be okay. Worst, worst, worst place ive ever been in as far as noise. I could hear EVERYONE. To the people next to us, quit yelling at your damn kids. To the people to the other side of us, you have horrible taste in music. To the people above us, you need a house because your dogs run ALL DAY AND ALL night. I did enjoy trying to take a dump with the sound of your dog running back and forth in the bathroom because you locked him in there. The one time my wife and I tried to hump to the beat of your bed squeaking while you did the dirty did make for a fun night as well. I would like to thank the people below us for stop playing their drums the one time I went in and asked them.

great property great people
I lived at jefferson 26 last year and really enjoyed the experience. Everytime i had a problem with my apartment, even just stopping up the toilet, they responded in a timely manner. I understand the vandalizing in the elevators and hallways is because of stupid college students and i think managment fixes it in a timely manner. overall, great staff, great place. and great location and safe.

Don't live here!
The apartments themselves are pretty nice, but cheaply made for the price you pay, and the management is crap. I looked at living at other apartments for the same price and same great location with better quality everything. The only good thing about J26 is the pool, which I heard drunk college kids pee and crap in on a regular basis anyway. If you want a good living experience, don't live here, I never would again.
