For over a year we have had the worst neighbors below us. After repeatedly calling in complaints to office staff and the police nothing has been done. We were told that we could move to another apartment but nothing would be done to our neighbors. So we get punished for their bad behavior and essentially the apartment is telling our neighbors that their behavior is ok. We are not the only neighbors to have complained about them either.

Best value in Austin. Very large bedrooms and closets. We're in A 2 bd 2bath with ground floor 2bay garage . Even with covid19 Responsive maintenance fixes. Hope new owner's will retain office staff instead of revolving door with past owners. Love our city within a city feel and trees.

I guess low price compared to today's market, Decent staff, never received fitness or pool key fob, due to covid was the original excuse. Now not sure what the excuse will be since I've stop bothering to request items. Cheap repairs in apt, or water leak In kitchen, smells like mold under sink, 2nd bathroom leaks rusty water into tub and on wall from upstairs. If you can afford to go elsewhere.

During COVID, I received rental assistance. The company called me back to let me know my complex returned the check and said "if she needs to get rental assistance, She should take that money and move somewhere else ". Also, my guest bathroom tub was unusable throughout my entire lease because they allegedly couldn't fix anything due to COVID. The leasing manager walked into my home whenever she felt like it without my consent AND told guests in my home (who she shocked by just busting into my home after I asked her several times to stop doing it) and other outsiders about the situation going on with me, them and the rental assistance. They are so unprofessional and lucky that ------slapping is a crime.

a good area to live but my apartment air conditioner sounds too loud, unkempt green areas and build in 13 dirty hallways. more communication with the resident is lacking. many birds with nests. Thanks

I have had some questionable neighbors who I've attempted to report issues which have not been resolved. I've seen a big turnover of office staff & don't feel a community feeling here. I am disappointed in the amenities offered & how problems are taken care of . Staff is friendly but I don't think those of us who are good residents are appreciated or valued like they should be. The property is older & physical features are not looking great. Also residents litter trash & cigarettes & these can be easily seen .

It's been okay. There were two major maintenance issues that took 1+ months to fix each (one leaking, faulty back door that resulted in subfloor damage and one broken washing machine) since I've been here. In both cases, it took speaking with 4-5 different employees to resolve. I realize management has changed though, and seems very responsive lately. My only other complaint is from people parking or waiting in from of my paid garage spot. Just today, there was a uhaul blocking me in and I could not leave for 30 minutes until they came down from moving. The price and location are what is keeping me, along with the staff's positive attitudes.

Maintenance staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They've completed many work orders for our unit. However, the Office staff is unreliable, often provides conflicting information, and/or are inconsistent in follow-up and resolution.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Your car WILL get hit - the office will NOT care or help you, even though they have video cameras. They WILL raise your rent without ANY reason. Really it's because everyone is moving out and they need to make that money somewhere. Once the office gets annoyed, they WILL block your email address. Don't believe the website - there is NO working car wash here. No working car vaccum. They just love to use that as an amenity to look good online. You WILL pay a mandatory $30 trash fee and hardly ever have your trash picked up. Expect to see MULTIPLE broken down cars that will sit for MONTHS. They will send out emails saying they will tow them, but, they don't. If you have a legal emotional support animal, sure, you won't have to pay the "deposit" for that (because it's illegal) but you WILL have an extra BS deposit for about $1200. Couldn't be more displeased with an apartment ever!!!!!!

Community was great, then my rent increased by almost $200 a month. So I can't live here anymore because of ridiculous pricing. Other than that I guess the apartments are ok. Kitchens are tiny and some of the floor plans are weird, but I can't just suddenly cough up 200 more bucks a month for the same thing I've been living in.

Overall the experience has been negative, and I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Managers and management companies changes too often and there is no continuity in terms of issues being addressed. A new manager won't follow through on anything that was being taken care of by a previous one. Maintenance used to be quick and efficient and now seems very delayed. Construction is very poor with a lot of noise from neighbors heard through walls and leaks around windows and doors. It looks like they're going to be painting the complex so it may look better initially from the outside but there are plenty of better and newer complexes in the area that should be looked at before the Artisan.

Trash from start to finish. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. Dirty carpets, hair and food and trash left from the previous tenets throughout the entire apartment. Counters and microwave filthy. The microwave smelled like food from the previous owner. The carpet was shedding and fuzzy and stained. They took weeks to fix what should have been cleaned before I even moved in. The air does not blow in the second bedroom at all and I've asked for this to be fixed and nothing.

mostly good. some move in issues were never resolved. I put in service requests for a couple things when I first moved in. A couple were fixed but a few things were never addressed and after a couple months I guess they were forgotten.

Terrible hallway. I wonder if someone of the management ever came and looked actually at a hallway when you enter the stairs and go to the apartments? All that area needs renovation!!!! It looks disastrous like some 3d world country dwelling! Look at the doors, walls and ceiling. And it's always dirty!!! Who is going to clean that and the stairs???? It has never been cleaned since we moved in in April. I only like the apartment complex because it is located in a good neighborhood and outside territory looks decent.

Our experience has not been the best. The front office staff are constantly changing so the way they handle things is always changing. The maintenance around here is a hit or miss. They either do the job they are asked to do or they say they're going to do it and it never gets done. This is our 5th year here and the carpets have never been replaced, we haven't received any upgrades that we were promised. Our apartment is falling apart with water leaks, broken handles, etc. and every time the maintenance "fixes" it a few days later it's broken again.

It has been fairly decent. The one great perk of our time here has been that maintenance has maintained our apartment well. The neighbors on the other hand are another story altogether. We are the only unit on the third floor that actually goes by the rules and bags our trash in the trash cans we were provided. Everyone else leaves their trash out over the weekends and all over the pavement. Most of it leaks and our walkways stay nasty and smell horrible. We now have bugs due to this level of negligence. Our neighbors are especially disrespectful, often slamming doors after hours, letting their children scream down the hallways, and talking at full volume late at night. This also happens on the first floor frequently.

We've enjoyed our stay here. The only issue is that now that the company is under new management, I feel as though there is a lack of communication between the office and residents. I hope our situation was just a one time thing. Other than this, everything is great!

So far it's been pretty good. The area around looks nice which helps when I go on daily walks. The amount of amenities I have is also good. Overall the experience has been pleasant. The price is very much worth my current experince.

It's been a lovely place to live. Definitely the best find for apartments in Austin. Management is kind and responsive. Maintenance is prompt and thorough. I've had very few issues while living here and it's been a great joy.

Affordable for what is around and a safe neighborhood. I enjoy walking around and exploring the neighborhood. I wish y'all would have composting and community herb/vegetable garden where tenants can pick and pull.

I don't feel like I'm living in an apartment home. Having an attached garage with interior access to my 2nd floor home is a great safety feeling. I'm hoping to get some use in the pool this summer. The maintenance team is on top of their game. Very friendly.
