We have lived at the Domain for over a year and love it. IMT has had a bumpy start, but I believe they were left with a mess from the previous owners of the apartments at Parkside. Communication is a challenge as they never seem to have enough staff to answer the phones and going into the office can be a long wait. More staff needed, for sure. The pools are nice and kept very clean, however, the big pool can become party zone and is not well monitored. We love the social gatherings once a month, and with all being said we enjoy living here. I would recommend living here to my friends.

love it. Everything is close and there are always events going on. I love the park for my pup. only thing that would allow me to never drive anywhere is if we had a CVS at the domain! I love the restaurants and bars, and of course how dog friendly the entire place is!

I visited IMT at the Domain as a prospective resident in August/Sept 2014. I also have a friend who lives here. I wanted to love everything about this complex, but alas; I do not. The major areas of complaint for me (both as a visitor and as a prospective resident: Parking: residents have no problem parking, but it's a nightmare for visitors. Basically there is no visitor parking. As a guest, I usually wind up parking in front of ----'s Sporting Goods or (if I'm lucky) in the Macy's lot. When I asked where visitors can park I was given a few limited choices that are ALWAYS full. I can only imagine how much worse this will be when the holidays roll around. Traffic: Because this place is a popular mall, traffic is heavy. Try going into the complex on a weekend. You'll spend plenty of time getting where you want to go. Noise: This is my biggest complaint and the reason I don't live here now. Most of the noise is from a few REALLY OBNOXIOUS residents (one with a motorcycle) who seem to love creating echoes in the parking garage. The car owner's do this whenever they enter/leave--which is very rude, but the motorcycle driver does it at all times of the day and night. This jerk will drive around and around revving up his engine. I've heard him come and go 10 or more times in an 8 hour time period. He needs to be banned. I don't know why the residents aren't screaming about this. It's really loud and it rattles the windows in my friend's apartment. The slightly high price, the lack of parking for visitors and the obnoxious residents in the parking garage are what made me look elsewhere. IMT Wells Branch is just a bit further out and so much quieter. That's where I live now.

I have enjoyed my time. I think the rent it high. I like how dog friendly the complex is. I would like the showers to be tiled. I like the other finishes. The place is dusty because of ongoing construction. Had to have the AC vents cleaned because of mold issues.

My experience at IMT apartments have been nothing but excellent so far. I love the view from my apartment to the park, the amount of light I get, the amenities, and the fact that I can walk to a restaurant/sports bar/ shopping area in 15 minutes.

The best part of this apartment community is the location! Walking distance from Whole Foods, shopping, and restarauts in the Domain. Large park behind the main building is wonderful for social dogs. Most affordable high end apartments in the area. Great amenities like free fitness classes and access to multiple pools. The only negative is If your apartment faces Esperanza Crossing, you will hear noise from construction, the street, and sometimes Top Golf.

I have to enter a minimum number of characters for a comment? Boo. I've had a positive experience at this community. I like it and I would recommend it to a friend, should they be able to afford it. The only downside was a recurring leaky roof/mold situation.

great, but need to do something about the trash shoots, it too far to walk in bad weather, and very dirty. Please consider valet trash service and offer color block painting for the residence. also give resident financial bonus to renew the lease

The leasing office did an awesome job in dealing with my maintenance request. They dealt it in a timely manner. Most of the staffs are responsible and show their willingness to help. Great neighborhood with convenient access to shopping and entertainment.

I have been very dissatisfied with this apartment community before and after new management took over. The noise level is terrible and the quality of the windows as far as noise reduction is awful!!! office staff service is poor as well!!! L

The Domain Parkside is a fantastic residence and location. Some people complain about the location being noisy, but overall, it's not so bad. It is an urban location, so you can expect more noise than usual, but you're paying for the fantastic location. You can get almost anywhere in 15 minutes or less with a ton being within walking distance. There's a train and bus station right by the complex that will take you downtown. The domain is also exploding with construction and new buildings and shops, so this area is only going to get better (and busier). I live in an apartment near the parking garage, and that can be noisy and the privacy is not very good. If you can avoid one of those apartments though, you'll be set. The amenities are great, and the community does events every now and again. Maintenance has always been timely and friendly for me and the people in the office are super nice. Also, this apartment is really green friendly. My electric bill is really, really low every month. I have yet to get my water bill yet (they delay it a few months), but so far I have no complaints. With all the natural light though from the windows and sliding door, you really don't have a lot of reasons to turn on lights during the day. This place is pet friendly, but with the deposit, fee, and $10 pet rent, starting can be pricey...It should also be noted that their are a few families here and older people, but a large majority of people I see are inside the 25-34 range. It's definitely a friendly community for anyone though. My biggest complaint is that while the walls do a decent job of blocking sound (I rarely ever hear my neighbors), the windows let sound STRAIGHT in. It's almost as if they aren't even there. Keep that in mind when selecting your unit, or I'm sure you could sound proof it somehow.

My experience has been very positive. I especially like the neighborhood and location. My neighbors are respectful. I also like FX Fit, that is very much a reason I like living here. The workout classes are great and convenient. The quality of building materials in the apartments could be better (such as a better quality sink).

I have enjoyed living at IMT at the Domain. The cross-fit study is a huge benefit and the free classes are wonderful. Their staff has been very friendly, helpful and professional. The apartments are modern and spacious. A little noisy at times inside the apartment caused by people passing by outside, due in large part to all the people frequenting the Domain. The monthly events held by the CARES Team are fun and free to attend. I would recommend this place to others.

I moved into Phase 4 when it had just opened and lived here for about 14 months and I'm getting ready to move on outta here. Overall, the community looks nice at first glance but when you take a closer look you realize that these apartments are built so quickly and frivolously that the amenities, and the building itself is cheap. When I initially moved in, my laminate floor was "bubbling" that a few others have described in their reviews. There were already scratches on my cabinets, drawers are crooked and apparently they hadn't completed construction in our apartment because I definitely didn't have a "Mosaic Tile Backsplash" that was listed as part of the apartment amenities either. Oh and the walls leak in the stairwell and elevator lobby when it rains, so the have to replace the drywall after bouts of rain through out the year because black mold grows in the hallways. Some of the cement floors in the hallways weren't stained and finished professionally, it varies depending on what floor you're on in my building. The construction -- drives me absolutely insane. When I signed my lease I was told that they definitely didn't work on the weekends and that I wouldn't be able to hear it through my wonderful double-paned windows and that the building across the street was the only construction planned near my building. Well, about 7 months later they began working on another phase to Domain Parkside across the street -- I appreciate their honesty or ignorance? Weeks of fire alarm testing starting at 7am, the constant beep of someone driving a cherry picker in reverse and all the other noises that come along with construction sites have almost driven me to tears. I've never had too much of a problem with maintenance, they're not particularly fast, but nor are they slow. They're usually very friendly. I definitely feel safe walking around at night coming and going from a restaurant or a bar. Out of all the places in north Austin, I think this is a good neighborhood to live in, close to the commuter rail, bars and restaurants with easy access to MoPac. I enjoy the pet friendliness but unfortunately we've had a major problem with lazy owners, letting their dogs urinate and dedicate in the hallways and of course the owners made no effort to clean it up. There was a major poop problem from owners blatantly not picking up after their pets so they implemented a "poop prints" DNA testing system, though there's some limitations to it and I've still continued to dodge piles of poop while running or walking my own dog. I have mixed feelings about the staff, some are knowledgeable, others seem to have no clue as to whats going on, and others are dismissive -- it just depends who you speak with.

Not sure why some say the office staff is not helpful, maybe they were friends with some of the previous staff members and were not happy with their exit...Either way, everytime I have needed anything or dealt with the office they have been very helpful and friendly. I do wish that the outdoor TV at the outdoor lounge area near the pool would stay on so that we could actually use it, but if that's the biggest complaint I have then it's not so bad. I also wish it would come with Washer/Dryer and higher end finishings.

Pros: 1) there are no dog restrictions (but there rumors that New management is about to change that policy) 2)there is private garage parking Cons: 1) New management Changing Policy 2) new office staff not vary helpful but more pushy 3) they rent out parking spots to the various companies around so the lots get pretty full 4) there was black mold growing in the apartments 5) maintenance request takes day or weeks to complete 4) don't believe promise that they say there would be no construction on the weekend because there is I am only living here because there are no other apartments in Austin that allow aggressive breed dogs, but there was talks from previous management team that that policy will be changing soon

I just renewed my lease here at the Domain Parkside Apartments and here's why: 1) The staff has always been helpful and friendly, no joke, they are always there when I need them. And I love the fact they provide an office space for us to use up front, I've used it as my office to meet client at a time or two before! 2) The gym facilities and pools are fantastic and we get a free membership to the amazing FX fit gyms that reside here at the apartments, it's fantastic and a brilliant idea for a gym and it's a free gym membership basically included in my rent (that's how I think about it anyway!). 3) The park, that's why it's called Parkside-we love the park! Everyone, for the most part, has nice dog adequacy here and overall, the park is clean. Some dogs are off leash and some dogs aren't, but everyone, overall, is pretty respectful with their dogs. This is a dog LOVING community here! Literally ALMOST every apartment has a dog here! I love how Domain Parkside doesn't have dog restrictions on weights or breeds. As an animal lover I think highly of apartments whom stray away from stereotypes of dogs and allow them to reside with us here! 4) Although I admit I don't go very often ( I need to!!) I love the community events and how often they are an option for us here on a monthly basis! I think they are encouraging when networking and meeting neighbors and perhaps new friends! And who doesn't love free food, drinks, prizes, gift wrapping (at Christmas it was too cute!) and helpful information?! 5) Construction noise, overall, it too isn't horrible and I don't hear a lot from inside my apartment. Poolside with the fabulous, soothing waterfall helps too though I am sure!! And the only time I hear my neighbors is when they are play loud music from the bass. And that is rarely on top of that. The walls here and the design of the apartments layout is quite genius and I don't get anything from either neighbor! 6) The grounds overall are just impressive I think. There are many entertainment areas where we can either entertain ourselves or guests if we choose! Seating areas, picnic areas, community area free wifi, outdoor TV's, fireplaces, lap pool, the park and not to mention um, walk distance to the domain and top golf! I could go on... really... I moved in when these apartments were brand new and I've seen them grow. I feel at home here and I've never felt so good about an apartment community before, being a part of and living here, and not to mention I love my space and my view of my own place. The atmosphere if fun, yet calming to me at the same time and I love the design of the structure of the building I live in. I've never lived in a better apartment home. I paid 1103$ for the first year and rent went up 40$ unfortunately for me this year, so as long as rent doesn't continue going up, I'll be staying for a while! And I super-duper LOVE Trish! Her smile always makes me smile and she's always been very empathetic and helpful to me, she's defiantly what helps make this place so "homey" to me.

If you are a quiet person and have hard time sleeping at night, this is not the best apartment. I reported the leasing office 3 times, but they did nothing at all. I am not in luck with neighbours since some people have no issues with theirs. I am not one of them and I am really annoyed even now. Also, there are a lot of people parking in the garage even if they are not a resident here as well, making people coming home from work late at night to park in the top floor which is not covered.

Pros: Great location.. can walk to the domain and topgolf without dealing with the noise and hustle. Layouts are nice... practical space and comfortable Covered parking... avoid the elements Friendly staff who remember your name Always felt safe even at night walking around Walking distance to train downtown Friendly community and nice parks Cons: Sometimes trash piles up near the chute on the weekends Construction in the area Once a year a marathon keeps you from getting out of the garage in the morning

Since the day I first stepped foot inside the leasing office, I have felt nothing, but welcomed by such a loving staff! My biggest concern about moving into any apartment complex is to make sure it is backed up by a team of responsible and caring employees who put their residents first. No apartment complex will run as efficiently and tidy without a well trained team. One thing that really caught my attention that I look out for when first stepping foot inside any leasing office is to make sure that each staff member is ready and on their toes to tend to my questions and needs, and that is what I first noticed about Domain Parkside. It's a nice comforting feeling to know that they're ready and on their A-game. After taking a tour of the apartment complex and it's amenities it has to offer, the leasing manager reassured me that if I ever had any concerns or issues with the property that she would be on top of it ASAP! Trish, who I initially worked with did a great job with providing me with all the information I needed before signing anything, but I knew right there that I was going to sign my lease with her!Since then, I have been well taken care of by each individual in the leasing office! Domain Parkside is definitely a 5 star rating in my book. I have never had any issues with loud noises, dirty hallways, and carelessness employees. It is backed up by a great team, and a manager who definitely knows what she is doing. She is always available when I need to speak to her about something, and does not shut the world out like other managers I have dealt with in the past who tend to have their door shut 24/7. If you are ever around the neighborhood checking out apartment complexes, definitely don't be shy to give Domain Parkside a stop and experience what I've experienced, you won't regret it!

UPDATE: After hearing my concerns listed below the staff made plans to install a new backsplash in my apartment. They even agreed to come in and fix my flooring. They are going through a round of hiring which means staffing may improve. We are still trying to figure out my electrical. I give them back 2 stars for really catering to us. Great Job on their part. THE STAFF The staff are very friendly. They do their best. Unfortunately there are only a few staff members working for a few hundred people. This can mean that you will have to wait your turn when you need something. They could also use a better process for collecting and distributing packages. I can tell this adds extra work to overburdened staff. I don't blame the workers it's not their fault. MAINTENANCE Maintenance is fast enough. Within 2 days for normal requests. They have a staff that cleans up outside and a few guys that know more technical problems that occur inside. However no one is perfect. The dog bags are not always replaced outside. The hallways and stairwells inside were not always getting cleaned well. In their defense, they hired a new company to address the cleaning. FEATURES This is where they lost my points. The faux linoleum floor bubbles up when the heat pierces it from the sliding door. At this time, I was told there is nothing they can do. It gets REALLY bad. Its ugly, looks cheap, and I'm embarrassed of it. I am having electrical issues. My breaker goes off when I run a 55" TV, an Asus desktop, broadband modem, and a few lights. I know it's not my devices because the breaker shut off when I wasn't running the previous listed devices. In fairness, maintenance came and said let's just feel it out first. Another incident occurred and they increased the breaker size. So they did try to help but I'm thinking it's the wiring. This makes my wife and I feel unsafe. The also did not include a feature listed on their website. http://www.domainparksid makes it appear that all kitchens come with a backsplash. I have not had one the 6 months I've been here. I have only recently brought this to their attention. In fairness, I will give them some time to make this right. Although, I can understand that things may get missed in new construction, I think it's up to management to ensure quality assurance. I also have had some dents dings, and broken trim in my apartment from original construction. It's understandable that these things happen. Overall the paint, the trim, the cabinets, and appliances have been in good working order. No complaints there. The parking garage is too narrow. Cars fly through it and there is little space. The people with trucks stick out really far leading to a pretty dangerous environment. Some people try to park towards the top or out of the line of fire so to speak. In fairness, it's locked up all around and pretty safe. The only people breaking into your car would be tenants. NEIGHBORHOOD The people inside the complex are alright. Be mindful that there are both old and young here. I would say more young than old but I have been placed next to a mom and her daughter. If you're young and active just know what you're getting into. My colleagues have had people over and gotten written up on noise violations. There are a few young party guys here. Reminds me of college. The parking garage is safe with a locked gate and I haven't heard of any break-ins here yet. The mall lights are always on. I am across from Dicks Sporting goods and the lights wake my wife up all the time. I don't really notice. If you're not much for lights or loud voices on the weekend then this place isn't for you. There are two hotels nearby and a few sport bars. This means people having a good time and staying out late. It's not as crazy as downtown. If you want a decent night life in a safe place then its great. If you the quit type then maybe it's not right for you. Mall security is constantly cruising around which adds a layer of security and comfort too. There is also a ton of construction. Be ready for noise. If you're gone most of the day and wake up early then your fine. This also means a lot of dirt and dust. your car will get NASTY. If you don't like dogs then this is not your place. They dog friendly which is great for me. Otherwise maybe not so much. Plus dogs will bark. Its natural. The apartment complex does its best to notify tenants and ask them to train their dogs to not bark. So I've tried to be fair. If they get on the ball with my apartment and make things right with me I'll consider raising my rating to 4. Until then, the quality of the materials, the small garage, the electrical issues, and the fact that their understaffed leave it at 2.

when I moved into my apt here at Parkside I was so excited to be in a "higher end" community, boy was I wrong! If your looking for that Parkside should not be on that list. Granted, they are in the Domain which is a wonderful area and lots to do however that does no good when the actual place you come home to is crap! Where do I start...They sold me on the great garage and how they are the only ones in the Domain that has the secured garage door which is awesome the only problem with that is IT NEVER WORKS!!!! There have been break in's, tons of people that don't even live here park here so god forbid if your a resident and expect to have a place park where you live and pay good money to live, the apts are very cheaply made and low quality, huge chiller bills,so noisy (especially when you can hear people fighting IN their apt) which I guess I don't need to state how paper thin the walls are, When there are major issues that need to be addressed(which by the way are frequent) you will never get a reply from the manager she has the front office "deal" with the residents. I normally never write reviews and I can let things go easily however when I am in the office and I hear the manager talking about other residents, cussing, and have also heard her in the office while telling a staff member to tell me she wasn't in when clearly she was just to find not even 5 mins later I see her outside smoking is just appalling to me. I am glad she finds the time to smoke now if he could just cut that time in half and spend it taking care of the residents and property this place may be half way decent considering nothing is ever resolved or gets addressed unless upper, upper management is called upon then things start to get done. The property is poorly maintained to a point where I have on a few occasions walked by vomit, seen eggs broken in the garage stairwell, pool is great when it is actually clean, most of the people here are cool but the people who have been here for a while that I know and have spoken to will not be staying and some have even paid the enormous cost to break their lease just to get out of here! My lease is up this month and I would never resign a lease here especially for the rent that they are asking for which I would have no problem paying if the property was maintained, focused on the people, professional, and properly managed. You can find many other properties either in the Domain or very close to the Domain for less in rent and much more professionally managed together as a whole.

Perfect for 20-somethings! I never write reviews, but they really deserve it. New to Austin, I found this place online. Initially, I worked with Oscar. He was extremely informative and never pressured me (so rare these days). He was confident in what they had to offer and rightfully so. I took a leap of faith and signed/faxed the lease. I spent 9 months there before I had to move abroad. If I were staying in Austin, I would absolutely sign on for another lease term. The location is 15-25 mins away from downtown depending on the time of day. Downtown is fun but super collegic so it's nice to be able to choose. The Domain is the fancier (but fun) part of the city, so it's really great to be able to walk one block and go shopping or out to eat whenever. The gyms are great--one regular gym and one that offers free classes. The pool is incredible! It's relaxing during the week and on the weekends, there are super fun pool parties. It makes it really easy to meet other people. The staff... I cannot say enough about them. They are so friendly and always go above and beyond to make sure that you have an amazing experience there. Ahhh I really do miss it already!

I have lived at The Domain Parkside for several months. The Pool is quite nice, the fit pits are wonderful...especially this time of year and the office staff is great. Parking was a problem for a while when a resident drove into the parking gate but it has since been fixed and parking is good. They are even looking into parking stickers for residents to make it even better. Maintenance is quick to respond to any problems. It is close to lots of shopping and great places to eat and enjoy a cocktail.
