I would not recommend living here. The initial overall appearance of the property is nice. The safety and security features have remained broken. There was a consistent burglary issue with mail. The inside of my apartment was filthy when I moved in. The staff are unresponsive to complaints regarding safety, mail theft, and excessively noisy neighbors.

Pay an awful lot for this GATED apartment for there to always be at least one gate not working and left open. The gate to walk in to get to the gym and the door to the gym are always unlock so anyone can walk in. The front office doesnt always email you back even when its very important safety/health concerns. There is mold in the apartment thats not even a year old and they cant tell you why it really fix it. Would not recommend.

Overall, we are pleased, with one major dissatisfaction: NOISE. The apartment above us apparently houses a family with several children that are evidently unsupervised. They use the floor of their apartment as a trampoline - running across the floor, then jumping to hit the floor with a loud bang. This lasts for several hours each evening. The garbage truck that empties the dumpsters arrives at about 4:30 AM instead of later in the day and is extremely noisy waking the entire area.

The community itself is nice. Neighbors are friendly. Landscaping is beautiful. Maintenance is really great at fixing any issues promptly and professionally. With that being said, I have recommended this place to my brother in law and he came in to see the apartment he was interested in and he himself left with a sour taste in his mouth. They were rude to him and didnt want to show him any of the apartments only online and they said they could have done that at home (his wife and him had taken the day off too to come view it) they left and found somewhere else where. It was very embarrassing. The staff weve dealt with has been very rude asking for money upfront because they made the mistake to leave it off our total which was agreed upon in the first place. The mail system has been iffy so we just send everything to my parents house because our stuff has gotten lost before including packages. We try to steer away from the office because we dont want to deal with their un professionalism. And I truly hope I dont get harassed for this review but theyve sent it many times for me to do. We have stayed at an apartment complex owned by Venterra before, Calais midtown and we never had any issues. So when we moved to cypress we were looking for more venterra complexes. We renewed another year to move to a bigger apartment but it will definitely be our last. Its so sad because our neighbors are very friendly and nice.

Management does not adhere to their own lease rules. A pest control company has been operating out of an apartment for the past year. They park numerous company trucks in tenant parking spaces overnight limiting parking for the legitimate tenants. Early each morning a half dozen trucks line up outside the apartment to be reloaded with chemicals (stored in the apartment's garage) and supplies while the drivers socialize loudly in the parking lot. Despite pointing out that running a business that clearly disturbs other residents is not allowed according to their leases, management is letting this company run out their lease instead of terminating and removing them from what is supposed to be a residential community.

I love living here! It's relatively quiet, maintenance is quick to respond to requests, management is very friendly. The biggest perks are the family friendly amenities: splashpad, playground, game room, and nature trail. No other apartment has all of that!

Security is non existent, two gates are always open when they shouldn't be. The Courtesy officer is worthless when anything needs to happen, parking is a nightmare and not enforced at all. People who don't belong here are entering through the open gates and causing issues at the pool or in the parking lots. Less than Stellar "gated" community.

Management (-------) is the worst. Maintenance is a nightmare, they brought drugs into my apartment and ------- defended them. ------- kicked a childs birthday party out of the pool for -------- reasons. No one had a problem with these kids having a party except for her. Race may have been a factor for her, but Im just guessing. I cannot wait for my lease to be up, it is absolutely horrible here. My laundry machines have never worked properly and Ive given up on maintenance fixing it. Theyve come out here 5 times and its bever been fixed.

I have enjoyed living here. People are kind to me and always ready to help if I have any issues. A great dog park for my dog, and a nice clean pool. I enjoy how close we are to HEB and nice restaurants. 290 is very close as well and now there is a Costco just down the freeway as well. The movie theater is less than 5min away. A park that is also close where you can walk and play sports

I hate this complex. i feel like my husband and i are being discriminated against by the office because i have given the apartment complex negative but true reviews on social media. My husband who is out of town a few weekends ago, left his service dog at home with me. I was letting her out to go potty ONE TIME, she ran off because she really had to go, the more i tried to chase her, the more she would walk/run further away from me. Once she stopped to go potty, i grabbed her and put her on her leash,which i had in my hand. It is NOT a common occurrence. Yet i have to live with apt 22202 leaving their trash can out, and living room furniture on their patio, that our guest and myself have to see every time i walk out my door. If we cant clear this up, i will make a formal complaint with the BBB. I'm so tired of this. The office personnel, new and old are rude, sarcastic and definitely resident oriented. i was going to pay my rent, i look at my statement, which does NOT reflect a "violation fee" but yet when i go to follow through and pay, it magically appears at the "balance due" THIS HAS TO STOP!. SEVERAL people still keep their trash cans outside even on non-trash days. FINALLY after almost 2 years of being a resident, the office puts out emails that there will be violations given for those who leave their trash cans out on non-trash days, and don't put their cans inside. YET STILL, yep, right outside my door, two of my neighbors and the people across the drive way STILL keep their trash outside. It drives me NUTS especially over the weekend, FRIDAY and SATURDAY when people should know trash isn't being picked up but their ok with the 3-4 bags of trash sitting right outside their door. I'm NOT, I have company over the weekend, I like my area being clean and neat. When people sign or renew their lease it should be very well known LOUD and CLEAR about the trash requirements. Yet you walk the complex front to back and you'll still to this minute see trash left outside peoples doors. The recycling cans, oh yes, they are a permanent fixture OUTSIDE of Peoples doors. Especially some(not all) management has no fear of confronting you and giving you an attitude of what you say is just words, she's the manager and that's it. ALMA..

Maintenance and staff are wonderful. Very quiet and my dogs love the grounds and large dog park. They also have adopt a pet with free pet rent and deposit. What a great way to spread love to animals. I would recommend this apartment a 10.

I love the idea of living within a few feet of 80% of the amenities (office included). The view is lovely. The office personnel has been truly amazing since I moved in. All maintenance issues were resolved less than 24hrs. some were same day in most cases.

Very satisfactory, excellent attention from leasing office team and maintenance as well. Quiet and smooth environment. Nice and affordable apartments. You do not need to move to far to find what you need; in one word, at Coles Crossing, you can find all you have been looking for.

I hate this place.. they are not nice.. over charging everyone that lives here.. my sink has been leaking since I moved in.. door been rigged up.. moved in and door wouldn't stay closed.. you should come see how they fixed it.. had a resident try to pepper spray my kids.. had to call the police.. to many break in.. had to call the so called courtesy officer because someone was knocking on the door and hiding.. by the time he made it, of course they we're gone... Home invasion with the family home.. broke into mail boxes.. we had to pick up mail at the post office for a week, just so they could repair it... A whole week.. they harassed my kids.. management prejudice.. they approve family's just to take there money.. and then try to evict them... Should of read the signs when I moved in.. like 6 family's moved out in just less then 2 months of my family moving in.. can't talk or explain nothing to management because your either wrong or she just over talk's you...

Staff is very friendly and helpful - grounds are generally always well maintained. Staff works fast to resolve any issues - family oriented which is nice to see. Huge convenience in regards to location: located 5 minutes from gym, gas station, HEB, and a few restaurants. Highly recommend

Coles Crossing is a great place to live. The apartment was clean and ready to move into when we got here. The community in general is beautiful with a great dog park, nice pool, walking trail, and well taken care of grounds and parking lots. The staff is great, very efficient and friendly. They are super helpful and professional. Definitely recommend this apartment complex!

Pool is too small for how many people live at this complex. I have complained about it every year and I can still never use pool in the summer because it is a questionable green color due to over use.

I enjoy the fact that it is a family oriented environment. All ages, even some of us retired folks. People are for the most part friendly, just like a neighborhood. The playground is most evenings busy with children and parents enjoying the time and space, visiting with one another as their children play. Its so great they have nice equipment and a large space to play. Just like home.

The apartments are proactive in fixing any issues that may arise, which Im impressed about. I was a little worried about that because Ive heard horror stories from other people that have lived in other apartments that their apartments would not take care of issues promptly etc. I would just suggest for the apartment office to communicate more about residents issues, but I understand that they have a hundred tenants to take care of. Theyve been extremely helpful since the day Ive moved in! Beautiful apartments, well-kept and maintained. People are nice as well in the community.

I think they pick and choose and make up their own rules. I was told by the manager that I could only pay my pet fee in cashier's check. A few weeks later one of the office workers said a personal check is fine. Among other things that I do not wish to voice at this time because I'm still living here. I'll give a better review once I leave.

We enjoy living in the apartments here its very nice the staff is very friendly and our neighbors are awesome as well. Ive have minor issues with our unit that has quickly been resolved in a short response time I love that about this place we feel very safe here and the kids have made a lot of friends
