Very good community after all. My room lacks sunshine but it's fine. Love the parking lots with roof! Also, it's really kind that the leasing office always provide some events including free dinner, which is way better than other communities around campus

i love my little apt and have met two neighbors that i enjoy talking to each day. the location is close to my favorite stores and resturants. also close to my family but not too close. i have lived in this area for over 40 years and when it came time to downsize, i am glad this apt was available.

Staff are nice and the meal every month is really good, haha. However, about the noise. I can clearly hear when my neighbors are talking...... About the room structure, I must suggest you to cancel the 2B1B room structure. It's really strange and inconvenience. And maybe you could change all 2B1B to 2B2B.

I like this apartments, I feel secure and relax. Never had problems with anyone. I wish that they held more activities, sports events, not only food once a month in the office. Picnics or outside activities will be so cool. It will be nice if all the washing machines and dryers worked.

Management is interactive with residents both professional and socially. I enjoy living here. It is pretty peaceful and quiet. Issues responded to in a prompt manner. Location is convenient to a variety of places I enjoy and to the train for work.

The apartment is too old, thus needs to be fixed often especially for water pipes. Furthermore, the attitudes of some office staffs need to be improved a lot. (no smile or impatient). It's not reasonable to enforce resident to accept and pay the cable fee.

Living here at Courtyards at Campbell has been beyond amazing! I love the staff! They have been very hospitable, kind and caring to my family and I. The grounds here are very scenic, peaceful, quiet and clean. A true gem! I know I can count on the Service Team to resolve any problems that may arise in a timely manner. The location is perfect yet hidden from the main roads. Words can't express how much I appreciate living here and having such a loving office staff that truly cares about their residents. Thank you all for all that you do. You Rock!!!

This is a nice community. Though the buildings are no longer new, the overall environment is great, with a lot of grass and trees and a fun pool. The only problem is with package delivery. USPS sometimes lost packages for wierd reasons, and the leasing office won't be responsible for that.

I lived at the Courtyards for a year. It was a great apartment. The maintenance team was great, always quick to respond, and did a great job. They never just went with the quick, cheap fix, if something needed replacing, they didn't hesitate to do so.

I LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE STUFF WHO HELP US TO MAINTAIN. MY AC IS DEAD FOR FEW WEEKS, BUT I STILL NEED IT TO GET THOUGHT THIS WINTER. THE FIRST TIME I MET THE MANAGER AND TOLD HER ABOUT THE PROBLEM , ALEX CAME BY AN HOUR LATER AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. THAT IS SO GREAT THAT I DONT NEED TO SURFER FROM THE COLD WEATHER. THANKS ALEX.

I don't believe the rent is in line with the quality of the property...it's too high. And the cable, that started at $25/mo has now gone to $40...and there is no option. They spend too much money on "community events" that most of us don't attend.

Pretty good community. On the UTD bus route, so convenient to reach UTD. Peaceful atmosphere within the community since it is not too close to the main roads. Overall a positive experience so far. Its just been over a week, so far so good. Hoping for a great experience.

Everything is really fine, the neighborhood and everything. Just the prices for water has some problem, i have no idea how it is calculating every month, because if the total amount is shared by building residents the water usage may not be equal for everyone.

Quite good. The gym is functioning well. And the environment is well maintained. But the layout of 2B1B really annoys my roommate and me. We need to cooperate and comprise with each other to avoid arguments. There should be more private space for 2B1B residents. I truly recommend that.

This has been the best experence that I have had in reference to living in an apartment. The staff here goes above and beyond and are very responsive to my concerns. There is no crime issues, no loud parties,no loud tenets, this is a very nice, comfortable, well maintained complex.

Courtyards at Campbell is the worst place I have ever lived. The apartments are in disrepair. In the time I lived there, the sewer backed up in my apartment 4 times. Each time the toilets and bathtubs would back up and overflow onto the floor with raw sewage. We would come home from work to sewage all over the bathroom floor. We dealt with this problem for 6 months, each time we would complain, management would say they were fixing the problem. When we talked to maintenance, they would say management would not let them hire a plumber to come out and fix the problem. FINALLY, after I called the health department and the BBB, we got the problem fixed. Management is a total pain to deal with, they are very rude about EVERYTHING, and are impossible to work with. Their laundry facility is completely disgusting. Of 5 washers, only 2 work. When you open the lids, you can see dead cockroaches in the bottom of the washers, and the driers take at least 2 cycles to get your clothes dry. In the two years I lived there, rent went up $250, this place is a total rip off. I would suggest renting somewhere else!!!!!

I know a lot of people have already said this, but I feel the need to add to it to make sure people know it isn't just the opinion of one or two people. Gina, the manager, is an incredible pain to work with. The price is good, the maintenance workers are quick. However, any problem there is, Gina just does everything she can to get you off the phone or out of her office. She has a huge attitude problem. We live here currently and are thinking of moving elsewhere just because we know we can't rely on management to take care of their side of things. I had a complaint recently and called her, and she almost immediately sent me on to a different person who was just as rude and inconsiderate. Then I went to the corporate offices and got the same rude attitude. MAA really needs to work on who they hire. We pay good money to live here and be treated with respect, and that is not happening with the current management.

I would say this is the worst community i have ever lived in, in the US. They should be ashamed to rent these properties to people. The apartments are so old that i think there are cracks in the floor which allow a lot of bugs (its like a rain forest in my home, picture attached). My only job when i get home is to exterminate all the bugs. I must say i have become somewhat of an expert in killing different kinds of bugs/ insects. They say they do pest control but i dont think it works. The main door to the apartment does not work and I spoke to the office (who are no help btw) twice and no action has been taken so far. I have to use the bedroom door to go out and in and let friends in and out. The office manager, Gina i think her name is, is such a pain to talk to. Its almost as if she is doing a favor by listening to the residents of the apartment complex. To add to that, they are going to send away all the UPS/ USPS packages back to the post office if no one is at home and the residents will have to goto the post office to collect packages that reached apartment in your absence. Now who is at home all the time 24x7. The internet and cable. You have to take the cable connection even if you want it or not and even if the tv ports in the house work or not. And the internet is too expensive and does not even work. I got a 15 Mbps connection and basic netflix video takes 10 mins to load and youtube videos dont buffer at all. Before leasing the apartment, they said I would get the washer/ drier as well with the unit but they changed their stance once i moved in. If you need help to hate Dallas then this is the place to live in. If you want to be even a little bit happy, then you will choose some other place.

Moved out in 2012 and was content at the time. I expected them to send the deposit to my roommate so I didn't inquire into it. Then, around Christmas I get a call from a collection agency wanting money because of Courtyards. I literally heard NOTHING from either of them, and they had my correct address and phone number the entire time. I was an amazing tenant for 2 years and they claim they sent a letter which was enough for them (I never received it, there is no way they sent anything). It is now on my credit for a miniscule amount that I paid within 2 days of FINALLY hearing something about the debt, but it is still negative and they refuse to take it off. My credit and my life is ruined because this ---- hole charges over $100 for broken blinds, and can't make sure to give reasonable notice to someone when they PUT SOMETHING ON SOMEONES CREDIT FOR 7 F'N YEARS. Plus, MAA must not have felt like looking for someone to replace the last horrible manager and just promoted Gina. Wow what a mistake. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE BULL YOU WILL INEVITABLY HAVE TO GO THROUGH.

tHe office staffs are a pain to deal with, Gina, the manager is so horrible and she doesnt know what she is doing. Every time I have a request or issues with the apartment, I have to find another employee who has more experiences to get the peroblem fixed. You will never get any issues fixed with Gina. Ground is falling, they have foundational issues, walls have large cracks. Building is really old, all the equipmemts in the apts are from 70's. Office staffs are constant liars, they just lie to you in order to get you out of their office and pass it to someone else. Plus, never expect to get your deposit back, I had moved out of the apt in January and still haven't received my deposit back. I have emiled the offices so many times but they keep letting me wait. Truth is, they never maill your deposit back, and some people forget about it, and thats how they make their stinkey money. Laundry is dirty, washing machines full of dusts and other disgusting stains all over. Have some loud ,noisy college kids living there who are having parties every night. I had to call police twice for noise complaints. Dont live there for your own sake, at least all of my friends used to live there already moved out or are planning to.

Stayed there for 2 years from 2010. You would want to live there if: 1. You like a house with sinking foundation with inches wide cracks on walls and skewed door frames that prevent you from openning/closing the door. 2. You like to suck up with the attitude from the management team. Yea, you know you are worthless to those people in the leasing office. 3. Bugs everywhere and pest control is close to none. 4. You like to pay ridiculous rent for a crappy apartment from the 70s. Please DO think twice before you sign the lease.
