The apartments are old and the upkeep is poor. The walls are paper thin so sounds and smells travel easily. Homeless people sleep around the common areas and in between buildings and rummage the dumpsters all night. There is nobody patrolling to keep watch of the community. It feels like GTA trying to find a parking spot because one apartment will have 5 cars taking up all of the covered spots and there is no parking tags for this community so there is no way to eliminate this issue. I'll end on this note. I moved into a completely outdated unit. I was actually shocked by the condition they rented the unit to me. So don't be fooled by the photos. Maintenance slipped up once and told me that my unit was flooded by the previous tenant. If that is the case, why was the carpet not replaced? Or anything? It smelled so bad when I moved in so I know they didn't clean the carpets or the walls. Hair in the tub. If you are desperate, sure move here.

I feel like nothing gets fixed properly, when my washer flooded I asked to vacuum the water out and the maintenance guy said he didn't have time. My door doesn't close all the way, my dishwasher doesn't work. I wish they would fix the apartment instead of putting a band-aid on everything. The leasing agents are very nice and welcoming. I like living here but the apartment is not in good shape.

It's a wonderful community, very safe with great shopping center, buses and schools. The manager is very nice, professional and organized. The rent, however, is much too high for this apartment. Our carpet is worn out -- the dishwasher flooded years ago and when the carpet was pieced back in, it is coming apart. We have an old Refrigerator that rattles and need a newer one. Very nice people live here

I am happy to stay in the MAA Highlands North community. In this place, a green pasture in front of my home in the community gives me a great feeling. The office staff responds very well whenever I approach them.

Since we've moved in almost 3 years ago. Very quiet, Pools are nice and kept up daily. Landscaping is nice. No problems with neighbors Most people are friendly. Office Ladies are very helpful! Price has gone up But that's Everywhere!

I love the outdoor areas with many trees, shrubs and nice landscaping. Large grassy areas with dog park and pools. Nice walking paths and so close to mann restaurants, shopping and medical services.

We are international students who were looking for a place to rent ahead of our arrival. We found MAA Highlands North as a highly affordable and sought after community and a popular choice among students. We applied online and corresponded with the community manager over emails and finalised our unit. It was very seamless and easy procedure. It was a great experience.

The housing community is great the area is just not the greatest. This is an extremely small base so there aren't good amenities but this is not housings fault. Houses are pretty upgraded and spacious. Pet friendly community.

The community seems to be located in a nice area. The only thing is that I did now like the apartment setting much. I wish they didn't have carpet all over the apartment. Other than that, I would say is a good place to live, neighbors seems friendly as well.

I have lived in the apartment for over a year. I feel safe living here. The maintenance people know what they are doing and the management are nice also. I do have one complaint when we had the ice storm I live on the second floor. My stairs were very unsafe! They said they only treat by the mailboxes, gym, office and laundry facilities. Some people do have to work and can't just stay home

I think this place is great. It's in a very nice part of town, it's very safe here. It's very quiet. There are lots of shops and restaurants. It's close to the highway system. And the staff is absolutely phenomenal!

This has been a great community, the park setting is so nice and is quiet. Maintenance issues get resolved quickly and efficiently. I've lived here for 2 years and have enjoyed it and felt safe and peaceful as a single older female.

The apartment complex is a friendly community and the staff is extremely helpful. I have enjoyed the years I have been a resident. The covered parking is just right outside my apartment door. If I have a concern, the maintenance staff works tirelessly to resolve any problems.

Nice area, subpar apartment. The rent has gone up considerably for an apartment that isn't worth the price. The management is polite, however they don't offer fair remedies when issues arise. I'm an unhappy resident.

The apartment is very spacious with enough closet and storage space. Washroom are clean and in good condition. The community is has a lot of greenery. Cleaning is done every week, pool and other facilities are in good condition

Since the day I moved in I have had people messing in the apartment! I work Thursday nights until 6 am Friday morning someone through my cat outside and also knocked down 2 crosses in the window. I do nothing to anyone I pay my rent keep my apartment clean this is making me physical sick.

It's a beautiful neighborhood with friendly office staff .Neighbors look nice and nearby living facilities are convenient.Hope it's a safe place, I'm feeling pretty good here at the moment.It is also good to hold more activities to communicate with neighbors.
