When walking in the leasing office is very welcoming. Jerica was great when showing us the apartment and also showing us amenities that this complex offers. Moving in was a breeze everything was set and ready to go. Decent parking and great location.

It's been ok, typical of apartments, maintenance staff is great, the lead manager Carly is helpful and understands how to treat people. However, the staff below Carly can be rude and even disrespectful at times.

quiet, but still busy. Great shopping and nightlife, along with a large amount of restaurants and fast food. The security could be increased as there has been a lot of crime in the last few months, safety would be appreciated.

I love living here. The location is perfect, maintenance is responsive, friendly. and does quality work. Having food trucks come in the evening is awesome! Great for those nights where I don't feel like cooking or going anywhere. I did have a few issues at move-in, but Carly made sure those were corrected. I plan to rent here until I eventually buy a home.

I read Bad reviews before moving in and nothing I read was true. I really enjoy living here. All areas are kept very clean: pool, dog park, gym, and the landscaping and the management and maintenance men are really friendly!!. So far so good

Good experience in my year at the Retreat. The apartment complex is nice. being in the area it's in, that's a must. Negatives with the complex, is the roaches in the apartments, pest control should come to each apartment at least once a month. Residents for some reason don't throw their thrash bags in the dumpster, & trash will build up like crazy outside the dumpster.

Have had a very nice experience living here. The amenities are a nice luxury to use and have the ability to have easy access to. There is tons of extra parking, many doggy stations to make sure the dog remains are disposed of properly, rather than just leaving it on the ground. Although service got a little behind, everything was well taken care of and readily available to assist and make sure tenant is happy.

This is a beautiful apartment complex that is in walking distance to Vintage park. Also it is right next to the nature preserve where you can walk your dog, take a nice run, or fish/kayak. Overall it is in the perfect location.

I love the community. But my building has gotten extremely loud and a lot of slamming doors and screaming children. It used to not be this loud when I first moved in The doors automatically slam and it is annoying sometimes. Well all the time.

When I first moved in the grounds were clean and now they are full dog waste... I know it's the responsibility of the tenants to clean after their dogs but I should not have to smell and step in the waste when I leave my apartment.

The apartment and amenities are fantastic. The gym and pool are great at any time of the year. The landscaping is pretty year around. The wooded area in the back is nice to look at. Lighting around the complex is good. Management has changed a couple times. The Tv's on the treadmills never work. Maintenance team is pretty poor at service requests unless you actually catch them in person to go do something for you. Tim was cool but a terrible leader and worker. The apartments didn't get flooded during Harvey which is a bonus! Other than that if your independent and can fix your own apt issues this place is great! Vintage park across the street is also awesome!

Decent. Front gate noise is constant annoyance. No trash valet service is very annoying. Friday landscaping takes a long time and very noisy. The trash compactor needs work. Pet waste seems to be increasing as well

Community seems nice so far, trouble with gate code and key fob for first 2 weeks, gate code solved, fob still does not work. Would like to be able to access gym and other amenities as per advertised when signing for lease

Excellent location only 20 min away from airport right across it's vintage market street very nice atmosphere overall best location. Room are spacious when you enter the apartment it's feel like house due to space each corner is utilized very wisely and there are several store space.

Overall e xperiance has been awesome so far. No huge complaints or concerns. Yet again I'm usually working but for the time that I am here, all is well. I never find myself looking for the complaint box or anything in all honesty. Most of the things that I would have to complain about is how other tenants treat some things like trash compactor for example. Other the that no problem

The location for this apartment complex is ideal, the management however, fails at communication consistently, and has only responded/provided feedback at times when items are turned into formal complaints with MAA Corporate. Aside from the location, there are minimal perks, the flooring is inexpensive, the doors are incorrectly hung, very low standards. Simply put, we will not be renewing our lease.

I just moved in. They day of my move in my keys were not ready. This was very upsetting as I had coordinated a move with friends and family. The staff tried to help with the situation but communication could have been better and would have been appreciated. It took a week and a half to get my mail box key to work correctly. It was very frustrating. Again communication between staff members could have been better. With that said I love my apartment. It was in great shape when I moved in and the community is amazing!
