Listen closely, I have never been so disgusted in my life. I am an attorney, and yes proud to say so. After encountering some heavy complaints brought to my attention, it's time to bring forth some enforcement toward this living establishment. I see so many apartment complex's driven under as far as maintenance, parking arrangements and soforth and so on, as you know the story goes on and on. However, too many complaints have been brought to my attention in such detail that I am finally going to take action against the managment at 'Pavilion Place'. Let's start with what I have been told as intimidation by the staff. Inaccuracies, empty promises, bad communication. People have come to me in tears over this company and have thrown their hands up and just given up. Just a word to say that too many complaints go unheard these days and the type of intimidation that this company excudes will not go un-noticed. At this point that's all I have to say. Corporate will be receiving letters and certified mail in regards to the unhappy residents of this community. Keep this clearly in mind 'Pavilion Place', you are going under fast.

My face cracks.
I can't believe all of these emails about this place. I am ready to just jump in the pool and call it a day. The place is so so just like anywhere else and thats all I need to say. It's Buckingham Palace but it's home to me, inasmuch as I do agree that the Manager is quite ruthless and bitter, but what goes around comes around and she should just leave and go where she's wanted and give up this job it is not her M.O as they say.

PURE DISGUST- vomit
IF and only IF you want to keep you sanity you will NOT move in to these apartments, do you hear me?! Do you remember the gentleman who wrote how DISGUSTED he was with Pavilion Place in reference to his daughter's car being towed. Well, I am about ten times more disgusted than that gentleman, and Ironically, I, myself happen to be a C.E.O. of a large organization myself. I had a friend that was going to move in there and then happen to do a google search and saw this post this man had written, and I must say it sort of made me think twice, however, my friend found the staff including the Manager Nina to be rude, incoherant, certainly not tolerable and in need of some serious coaching and development. The manager who I believe is Nina doesn't know what hard feelings are until I come out publicy against her, and we'll see how well her career goes. I have never in all of my years of dealing with apartment properties run into situations that led from one dilemma to another, without any apology. Nina feels as though she owns the property, and has not feelings whatsover. The apartments are never ready when they say they are. God forbid you say you are going to move in on a certain date, and they don't have the unit ready until the day before. Their make-ready maintenance people are for the birds. Needless to say that I have NOTHING against --------- but y'all please, learn enough English to communicate with present past and future residents. I have already contacted the Corporate Office to make a complaint because my dear friend who had to choose these apartments in a rather quick fashion couldn't have been more upset with the staff and the circumstances surrounding her apartment. She advsied me, and I quote, "all I asked for is to walk the apartment and see if it were ready", and she stated that she would come into the office and completely get overlooked as if she were a ghost and had to actually walk into Employee's Only room and ask for assistance. I really thought this would be a nice apartment for her due to the fact that she is a student and this would be a very short commute, but I am doing everthing in my power to sway her against moving there. I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that once she moves in, if something needs to be repaired or replaced, that it will number one, not get done, or it will not get done to the satisfaction it should be done at. Don't these people take any pride in their work. They are rude, very unprofessional, and have a terrible sense of customer relations. Again, being that I feel that nothing will change with these people, I have filed a grievance with Corporate, and my next step is the owners. This is a promise not just something to say, but a PROMISE, and I will say it again, we will see how well the top the charts...It's currently at 2.9 which is way below acceptable............

------ - ------ - ------
Im writing this post not less than 48 minutes after my vehicle was towed from GUEST PARKING! Yes, I did not commit a typo - GUEST PARKING! Brief: My 19 year old daughter arrived at this apartment complex to visit a friend at 10:48pm. At 12:23pm she attempted to leave only to find the vehicle was gone. As the vehicle is a company vehicle, we were able to track it via our TrimTrac GPS service. Daughter was instructed to go to the security officer and request the police as she was scared out of her wits. The security officer explained that there was nothing he would do to assist her and advised her to wait OUTSIDE THE GATE! Yep, thats rocket science for you, put a scared 19yr old girl OUTSIDE security alone! So, daughter contacted HPD to request an officer as she felt by all appearances that the neighborhood was dangerous as would any neighborhood feel at 1am when your 19 and alone in the dark out on a corner. Daughter took cab home. I however had to travel to the tow yard and pay no less than $191.39 (gave them $200 and conveniently he didn't have change to give). ***I visited the complex and noted with my own eyes that the parking spaces are NOT MARKED either guest or resident parking in any manner. No signs, no stencils in spaces, nothing. The moral of this story is: DO NOT VISIT OR CONSIDER THIS COMPLEX!

No problems for me
I only lived in Pavlion for a year, but never really had any problems. Yes, the parking was occassionally an issue if you got in late at night, and I think maybe some sections/areas were maybe "------" and people smoking pot, but not in the area I was at, thankfully. My neighbors were mostly quiet. The dishwasher had a leak when I moved in, but they fixed it immediately. Otherwise, no other maintenance complaints. Sometimes the security guards at the gates were a pain if you forgot your card or tried to go in after someone else. But, I guess thats their job. The laundry facility on-site was fairly nasty, though. Some rude people, and lots of lint and junk on the floor. Should have been cleaned more often.

Foreclosures are not Pavillion Place fault
This is really crazy that so many people want to throw Pav Place under the bus!!! HELLOOO, its not your bought home, its a rental property for Gods sake, what do you expect. The basics are what apartment living is all about. 1.You can not pick your dam neighbors, 2.park your car in the right spot, 3. Stop blaming music and noise on people that are -------- and have kids. It seems all those people that left apartment living and got new homes, but could not pay due to Bank foreclosures are coming back, expecting things to be as though they still live in private homes!!! What have no one else to blame on your loss and need some one and some place to ----- at!!!! The women is doing her dam job, the Manager I might add, and real good at it. I bet she does not come your jobs and kicks ---- out of your mouths!!!!So why and try and tell them how to do their job here at Pav Place!!! Hey manager do your thing, because no matter what you do for these ----holes it will never be enough. If you do not like it here Leave, there is a way to break your lease legally, ohhh seems you got quiet now!!! I am a resident, not --------, and not the manager.

Cold Shower
Well, I started my Friday by finding out that there was no hot water in the apartment. I haven't had to deal with this since I was in the Field in the Military. Thanks Pavilion Place.

Okay
I haven't read any of the reviews, but I can tell you guys about my experience. I had a one-year lease with them and this is what I observed: 1. The pool was nicely maintained. 2. It is pretty embarrassing to have friends over, because there is a big illegal immigration problem at the Citgo gas station across the street. There are so many illegal -------- there! I have nothing against --------, but it is really embarrassing when your friends ask you why there are so many of them there. 3. The gym is really nice. It sucks that you have to use your gate access card to get in though, since the gate card is usually in your car! It's kind of annoying to have to go to your car and then to the gym and then back to your car. 4. The energy costs for a one bedroom were pretty good. 5. Parking was a problem if you parked after 6:00 p.m. I remember I had to walk a bit of a distance to get back to my apartment. Overall, I think that the rent is pretty good and the place is actually decent. The main reason I am writing a review is because I wanted to compliment the company for charging me outlandish move-out fees. I bought some IKEA wall mirrors. When I removed them they tore off the wall/paint. However, I received all of my deposit back and I'm pretty happy about that! Haha. Hope this review helps people who want to move here.

POOR MANAGEMENT!!!
Do NOT move into this place!!! Although the apartment living itself was not bad for the price, the management on staff is so horrible, I would NEVER recommend someone live here. I called everyday 3 times a day for almost 2 weeks trying to find out why I hadn't heard about my deposit return 2 months after moving out, and when finally someone was available to talk about it, I never got my deposits back, they never credited me for paying my pet deposit (until I got copies from the bank), and they charged me to replace the kitchen floor that I put on the move-in sheet was messed up!!!

hell hole
this place is horrible and i cant wait to move! tejano music is blasting, they always turn off the water randomly and at times dont let you know in advance, there are roaches in the kitchen - and I am a neat freak! the mngt are the most inept morons who dont know whats going on. every month i had issues with them. the site was gross. sometimes the dumpsters would over flow to the surrounding parking spaces before someone emptied them out. security is a joke. they hold ppl up at the getes - when the gates are working at all. and the surrounding neighbors are all shady looking drug dealers. oh, you do get a $20 voucher for the onsite conven. store - but good luck finding a parking space to use it. the cheap rent is NOT worth it!!

horrible!
the amount of difficulty i have had with the managment and the facilities of this complex is almost indescribile. the managment does not have a clear picture of how to run a proper community. when asked about certain policies, for example, even the head manager could not explain something as simple as deposits. the building/apartment has had to have CONSTANT work done to it. to name a few: falling in ceiling, pest control, water leak, door locks not working, non-working AC. and this was within a matter of a week of moving into the unit. as for security, police have asked me about a possible child-kiddnapper living below me; at the convience store there have been people begging (40 feet from security who did nothing); security guards do not have proper training in dealing with the simplest task of gate control; not enough lighting to feel safe to walk about at night, and the occasional gunshot. with all restraint possible, DO NOT MOVE THERE!

Lovely home for Tejano music lovers, pot smokers, & pests collectors
I lived there in a one bedroom for about 6 months and moved out.<br><br>Here are the PROS: very good location. For the apartments around that area, this is the safest and the nicest. Upon welcome, they give you $20 at their convenient store inside the complex to spend, which was overpriced, but very nice thought. For the prices, the place is pretty nice.<br><br>CONS: music blasting all night, pot smokers on all over the place, beer drinkers staring at your entrance all day, and of course, roaches sharing the room with you uninvited.<br><br>If you like to smoke pot, blast music all night, and having little creatures to keep you company, this is the place for you. If you do not like any of the above and want a clean, safe place to live, stay away. Far far far away regardless of what the mgmt tells you.

My 5 year experience
I've been here for 5 years and just bought a home. Could I have a much nicer apt? Yes, but I will be paying double compared to Pavillion. This is a good place to live if you need to save some money to move into a house or condo. I paid under $500.00 a month for five years. It's not the best place to live but it's not the worst. Everything is in working order. I never used the pools because this place is not a single hangout. Mostly working famalies and I'm good with that. Out of my 5 years of living here, the one thing bad I have to say is...live upstairs because the floors squeek and crack a lot and it kept me up many times when I had residents live above me. It's something that can not be fixed. It's just old floors. Other than that, I enjoyed my time here.

mostly bad, some good
depending on your situation. I was just finishing college and a single male at the time so it was all i needed. Cheap, and location convinient. <br>But if you are a woman, DONT DO IT. Your safety will be in jeopardy. <br>If you have children DONT DO IT. This is not the place for kids.<br>There are too many people. too many units. Very overcrowded and there are many "suspicious" tenants. I couldnt wait till my lease was up and i got the hell out in a hurry. <br>Luckily i was never robbed, but i know people were. There were gunshots, helicopters, and HPD should just make a base there. <br>If you must, be careful. Dont go to far past the complex either, cause it gets worse the more you venture south.<br>The mgmt seemed nice, and tried to LOOK professional, but a place like that cant be being run the right way. Parking is terrible, many late nights i had to walk at least 50 yards to my apt.<br>

Pavilion Place a Punishment Place
The staff seems so pleasant. They receive you very good but each time you complain, no action is taken. Initially when you move to Pavilion Place, staff acts and talks in such a way that you feel it is awsome place to live.<br><br>When it comes to Manitenance or complaints, it is worst. Maintenance is done in such a way that you need to call them again and again.<br><br>I made so many calls to the staff. It happened to me that each time some other staff picks up the phone and takes the message. The message is never delivered to the right staff. I called them many times just to make sure the message is delivered. Even I personally went to the staff to confirm the message is delivered. But they'll have no idea when I called them or what the message is. It is the worst ever to live in this apartment.

They seemed desperate for me to move in, their calls were too frequent, they kept a depoist that they promised initialy they would not,.
Upon arriving at Pavillion Place I was greeted by a "guard" who seemed less than courteous. Entering the office the staff was freindly enough and the office clean and tidy. I viewed an apartment and placed a deposit down, indicating it might not be for several months that I could move in. I was told this was not a problem and that I would even recieve my deposit back if I were not able to take the apartment. At the time my landlady/ roommate was in the midst of dying though, neither of us knew that. I only knew I had suddenly become the caretaker for someone who I should not have been and was looking to get out of the situation. Anyway, as time went on Pavillion Place began to call frequently requesting information which I had previously given to them. The harasment began when they badgered me for a move in date which I finaly gave as August 15th, however, I was called several times to get that information and each time I became exasperated with the fact that the person I spoke with previous to that had not allowed anyone to know this. All in all it seemed they were desperate for me to move in which made it more and more uncomfortable. I had aleady given a move in date and was suddenly threatend with a statement saying, " if you do not move in we will keep your deposit, for holding an apartment for you". Because that was directly in conflict with what I had been told the day I put the deposit down, "it is in the paperwork, sir." I decided to allow them to keep my deposit and withdraw from a very scary situation.

In my opinion, this apartment is a classic example of "you get what you paid for."<br><br>The apartment is located at an extremely convenient location, close to many attractions/ work locations. The price I paid for a 800sq ft apartment with washer and dryer inside was $539 (first floor). The apartment is generally clean, maintenance is very responsive, and I never had an issue with the front office as I just pay my rent monthly.<br><br>The cons about the apartment is that because it is quite affordable, many families with lesser, should I say "class" comes to live here. Thus, you get the loud music in the middle of the night, people drinking beer across from your apartment at 10am Saturday, trash piled in undesirable areas. The parking is plenty, but usually dark.<br><br>The worse thing about the apartment is that there are quite a few marijuana users. Take a walk on a weekend morning in the complex and you can smell it coming from all over the place.<br><br>Definitely not for a single female to live in. If you are male, with roommates, college student who just want a cheap place to sleep. This might not be bad. Otherwise, I would think twice.

Management team is inconsiderate
About a week and a half ago the water was turned off for half the day for three consecutive days. There was no notice to warn residents that the water would be turned off. On the third day the water was acually off until after 6pm. Yes, there was no water all day. When I called and asked someone in the office about the water, she told me that it was an emergancy and it had to be fixed asap. I could understand the emergancy the first day, but when the problem was not fixed after the first day why not notify the residents of the problem. The lady I spoke with had a "dont care" attitude. I was really upset.

Buy life insurance before you move in!
This is a dangerous place to live. Move in at your own risk! The management sucks big time, all the women use so much makeup you want to vomit! And they think they r doing us a favor! Useless uncooperative argumentative staff. This apartment complex will go down the drain due to these people, mark my words!

Overall, it is an okay place to live.
I have lived at Pavilion Place for about a year now and have had several problems. The main problem is security. A few of the gate attendants let anyone in. If you are walking, they will definitely let you in without checking ID. The apartment is in a pretty bad neighborhood, so security should be extremely tight. One of my friend's vehicle was broken in to in broad day light. All management could say was, "We don't offer security, only gate attendants." It is very upseting, because when I moved in, they claimed they had " 24 Hr Security"; however, that definitely is not the case. The manager, Kari, does not know what she is doing. As far as the apartment, they are pretty roomy. On a few occassions, there have been live roaches crawling in my apartment - and i mean BIG ones. They exterminated, but that did not get rid of the problem, completely. The appliances work fine. There are always people making a lot of noise and it's disturbing. There is always trash outside of the dumpsters and makes the property look very dirty. There is not too much room for parking. Mainly, the problem with PAVILION PLACE IS THEY CLAIM TO BE A SECURE COMPLEX, BUT ANY TOM ---- OR HARRY CAN GET IN WITHOUT PROPER ID. BECAREFUL WALKING AROUND AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY THE LADIES.

Great Place To Live!!!!!
I have been living at Pavilion Place for over three years now and I believe the management and maintenance have been the BEST it has ever been!!! My service requests are completed within 24 hours and the maintenance people are extremely nice! The manager, Kari, is also extremely nice and helpful!! She is always there if I need to speak to her. I don't know why people are having so many problems with Pavilion Place! It is a very clean, safe, nice place to live and it is managed by a team of people who really care!!!! If you are having problems at Pavilion Place, why don't you try talking to the manager, Kari? She would be more than willing to help you as she has helped me!!! Best Wishes!!!!
