The staff is great and so is the community. There is very limited parking. However, the property it's self is awesome and I haven't had any serious issues. The maintenance team is awesome and the turn around time for a request is 24 hours or less....

I have lived in this community for a total of eight years. I really enjoy living in this community, but these apartments have bad case of ants. Also, I don't agree with my rent increasing every time I renew my lease. These are very nice apartments

Overall, it has been good. Although, my rent has increased about $100 in the past 2+ years and I will be moving. Also, more notice when maintenance staff will be entering my apartment would be appreciated...at least what day. I have seen raccoons in the gutters near the trash receptacles on multiple occasions so that needs to be controlled.

We have been very pleased with all aspects of the Thornbury from the leasing agents, to management to the maintenance team. One call is all we have ever had to make and the job is done. This was our first experience with apartment living. Love it

Beginning of move apt wasn't cleaned properly, during stay quite area, no issues with surrounding tenants , constant issue with ac unit, grounds have to much dog poop apt need to figure out how to make ground more now this rodent issue is very disturbing

Thornbury at Chase Oaks is a community worth the price. Cleanliness, maintenance, and communication are excellent. Appliances are updated, the area is wonderful, surrounding neighborhoods are safe and comfortable. Front office staff are professional and caring.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. We have had a couple MAjOR issues concerning management in the office about "fees". Parking is horrible at night. My roommate had her boyfriend stay the night and all 4 of his hub caps were stolen. We informed the office and their reply was not to park there anymore! Property manager was really helpful though!

This is a great place to live. The two maintenance request that I've had, they were completed the same day. Veronika was my leasing agent and she did a fabulous job. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job of taking care of my issues. Two thumbs up from me!

I've been living at Thornbury since September, and all I can say is great things about this place. The staff is so approachable and friendly. They listen and your maintenance request is taken care of rapidly. You receive a ticket in your email for work done, that's real customer service.The apartments are roomy and updated. . The place is kept clean, the grounds are landscaped nicely. It's so quiet and nice here. We have a doggie park. A fitness area that is always kept clean. I just love where I live! I will only move when I become a homeowner.

It is very nice and quiet here on the 3rd floor. The space is well planned and very good storage (linen closet). Our unit is pretty warm during the summer, a/c works very hard, but it is so peaceful here. In addition, the office staff and maintenance does a great job, a huge plus!

This apartment complex is beautiful, very well kept and quiet. Parking sometimes an issue especially living right by the pool. All in all I love this place and we would stay but just need something a bit bigger. The only issue I would say we have had is bugs, spiders are often found inside as well as beetles and a million Rollie pollies; but that is just a minor issue.

RATS, RATS, RATS!!!!! My last year of rental here was horrible. We had a problem with RATS sneaking in through the wall behind the refrigerator in the middle of the night. These rats would defecate around the entire apartment, and yes we have NEVER left food out in the apartment. After notifying the office THREE TIMES, they had finally sent an exterminator to deal with our issue. When the exterminator had finally arrived to deal with the situation all he did was spray a chemical a few times and a few tiny sticky pads around the kitchen, I mean the rats were at least 4x the size of these tiny sticky pads, the only results we would wake up to are patches of hair on the pads. The rats aren't even what appalled me the most during my stay here. The office had the audacity to withhold my security deposit due to the "animal droppings and urine" they had found in our apartment thinking that we had a pet AFTER we had notified them about our issues with rat infestation. After a long tiresome battle with them I had still not received my security deposit. This place is disgusting, and even more so are the staff that maintain it.

after living here for...
after living here for 9 months, I have generaly found the staff friendly and responsive. There is a saftey problem here though, my van was broken into just before christmas and my cargo trailer was stolen out of the parking lot in May. The staff would not let anyone look at the videos tapes at the gate to see if the thief could be identified- they said they would look only if they have time, thus not being helpful at all.

If you look at the last 7 or so reviews, all but one are from the same person... Verified Resident. All reviews are done by usernames, I have made many before. Or just look at other apartments. This website DOES NOT verify residency. This most likely means the Office Staff has been writing many reviews trying to fool possible residents. I will not be living here for that reason; If they lie about this what else are they lying about.

We love living here....
We love living here. It has been the best apartment complex we have ever lived in. We are expectly a baby in July and moved here specifically for how safe and quiet it is. It has exceeded all our expectations. The only reason we would ever leave is if rent goes up to high or we buy a house!

I lived at Thornbury at Chase Oaks for 4 years. I recently moved out to move to another city. My apt. was spacious with a lot of storage space. The golf course view was great! Easy access to 75 and shopping close by. It was quiet and I couldn't hear my neighbors. The new management was very fair to me regarding my move out at the end of my lease of which I am very grateful. Some management companies try to stick it to you on move out but they didn't. They were very nice, polite and helpful when I had questions. Just couldn't have been any better. Parking isn't the greatest. I had trouble finding a parking space close to my apt. when I came home after 8pm at night. Hopefully, the new owners will find a solution to this. I've noticed they are making upgrades to the property.
