I really like the location of this apartment complex. It is a safe place for my family. We moved here from a home and there was plenty of space for a family of four. I like the amenities like remote access, fitness center and pool. If I could afford it I would get a garage because I have more dents in my car since moving here from my home.

Great quality apartment and staff for the price! Feels like it's run by true professionals. Every service request has been immediately taken care of and the office has made the transition into my new place very easy. The area is perfect in a nice part of Plano right by Legacy road (and a great golf course).

The staff was very professional and friendly. The only issue we had upon move in was the limited amount of space avaliable to park our moving truck. Our apart mentioned also wasn't painted so that to be handled the day we got out keys. The final issue was our air conditioner had to be serviced the first night we slept here. I was very impressed that maintenance answered the phone after hours and had it working again that night. Overall a good experience.

My parents and I were looking for a safe community within a reasonable distance from UT Dallas. We looked at apartments around the area and Thornbury at Chase Oaks had an beautiful community. The community has a gate, is well light, and the surrounding neighborhood is safe.

This facility us fantastic! It has great amenities and staff. The complex is always very clean and tidy. The walls are a bit thin, as I can always hear my upstairs neighbor walking, but that person walks heavy. Overall me and my husband love it here!

The staff, office and maintenance, are always friendly courteous. The community is well maintained and pleasing to the eye. There are seldom any noise complaints and any issues I've had were always dealt with in a timely fashion. After 7 tears, I'm still very pleased with my choice is residence.

The absolute NOISIEST place I have ever lived. The staff have absolutely no regard for their residents and seemingly go out of their way to pester the residents. The grounds are kept fairly neat and the apartment interior is quite nice when something isn't falling apart. This is built like a complex from the 1930s and for some reason use a water heater that also powers the hot air in the winter. In the winter you can have hot water or a warm apartment, but not both. The gates are broken about 60% of the time and there are pot holes in the parking lot that sit unpatched for months on end. The building exteriors are covered in cob webs, all outdoor lights are packed with bugs, creating a fire hazzard and preventing much light from shining. Do not live here if you enjoy hot showers in winter, peace and quiet or expect the staff to respect your privacy.

So far I love living here. Everything is kept clean, the people are friendly,the workout room is great too. It's a beautiful place to live surrounded by mature and friendly people. Me and my boyfriend couldn't be happier with our first home.

Rented at this community based on feedback on apartmentratings.com. While it appears to be true that families do live here, the unit we're in is littered with bugs/insects; smells like weed (likely from neighbor), you can hear yapping dogs at all hours of the day/night - so not sure how it's really family friendly - particularly if you have young children whose health you would be concerned about. Really disappointed in our experience here thus far.

Great location. That's about it. Lots of kids (noise). Small kitchen (really shall refrigerator) and small closets. Also, there is no assigned parking. Cannot have a bbq grill (city ordinance). Only 1 pool and no access to it from the north part of the complex without going outside the main gate and using the coded entrance beside the main office.

FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY OF MOVING IN WE HAVE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE THORNBURY COMMUNITY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. FROM THE AMENITIES TO THE STAFF, MY WIFE AN I ARE TAKING FULL ADVANTAGE OF ALL THAT IS OFFERED TO US. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE REST OF OUR TIME HERE AT THORNBURY AT CHASE OAKS.

I love that my apartment is on a golf course! I have a beautiful view of a fairway and green from my patio. This is the reason I chose Thornbury a Chase Oaks! The staff are very friendly and helpful and this adds to the quality and value of living here.

The community is very welcoming. It also has a nice atmosphere and beautiful landscaping. It's quite the ideal place to call a home no matter how long the stay. Chase oaks staff is very heartwarming as soon as you walk threw the door. Anything needed to make your stay better they aim to please.

Relatively quiet neighborhood. There are a lot of barking dogs though. It occurs more frequently at night. Nothing too distracting but worth mentioning. Friendly folks as far as I could tell. Office management is friendly and responsive. Could use some community events.

There are definitely some room for improvements but overall I am happy with the unit and the Office staff. The location of the property is very much a plus as it is not among dozens of other complexes. The unit are spacious with ample closet space.

The staff have been very accommodating. The apartments have been recently remodeled and are more up to date. We have had two vehicle stolen in the length of time staying at the complex. Rent has been steadily increasing since our first year.

The maintenance and office staff is really nice and I would recommend this complex to friends and family alike. The staff is always professional and I feel that they can be trusted when something needs to get done. My girlfriend and I enjoy living at Thornbury!

It's been a very enjoyable complex so far. I moved in a couple months back. The improvement I would like is a larger swimming pool and hot tub. The apartment itself is clean and modern and high quality, and I am very pleased. The master bathroom is exemplary, for example. If you wanna live in comfort, check out this place.

I have loved living at Thornbury at Chase Oaks. The staff in the office are wonderful and helpful. The maintenance staff are professional and do an excellent job. The common areas are well maintained as well. Beautiful, peaceful property!

Very nice apartments with lots of trees. The staff is great; fast response to maintenance issues; neighbors are amazingly quiet. The noise from I-75 is a bit much; however, with the sliding door & windows shut, much better. Lots of great birdsong every morning.

It reminds me of Michigan with the beautiful Trees! I have a small dog and there are lots of walking areas, a dog park and lots of grassy areas to explore. The fitness room is nice and the garages are available for a monthly fee, but they are nice.

Great apartment. Family friendly and very clean. The maintenance staff responds to service requests promptly and the office is always willing to work with you regarding any problems with the apartment you might have. The oak trees provide a very serene setting.

We moved in to these apartments because the landscape is so beautiful, and it was such a good price for a cute 1 bedroom apartment. We have the smallest 1 bedroom and it's perfect size. The neighborhood is quiet, and it backs up to the golf course which is great.
