Rude Apartment Community

The comments that just have been added are lies put by the management company. I called them and notified about their rating on aptratings.com. The lady was lying to me about how great the community is. PLEASE GO TO PLANO POLICE TO LOOK AT THEIR 3 1/2 PAGE REPORT ON THIS APT COMPLEX. I SHALL BE POSTING THIS ON THE WEB FOR ALL OF YOU TO SEE. you will see the quality of the management and the kind of people that live there. If you want your children to be raped, please try them out. Good Luck.

you have to read this!!!!

The staff is very helpful and they have recently hired a new lead maintenance who is wonderful, when i call in a work order it is always done in a very reasonable time frame. The landscaping is just beautiful i love going on walks I love that is sooooo quiet and peaceful. Yes sometimes the staff will make a mistake but we are all human and everyone needs to remember that especially after reading the other reviews. i suggest that everyone should go out and visit them!!!

Liars, Pain in the Butt People to visit

Don´t even make the mistake of visiting this property. The comments that have been put here are by the management staff. I advise you to drive by and see that their gates never work. If you read about their web page, they boast about the gated community, but if you look at the gates, they don´t work. So in true essence its a Fenced community with no gates working. Just have to drive down and see that. I have been living here for 8 months and the gates haven´t even worked once. I talked to the new guy who is the maintenance guy. He lives here and he told me that the apts gates don´t work coz it cost them 1000 to bring someone to repair them. At least the anonymous comments that were put here say yes they make a mistake, but they are humans, is all lies. Thats because the apt staff cannot hide from you consumers how many people have put these comments over a period of two years. Why would one person do that for two years. That means this is not personal grudes but true statemnets.

Rude, Racist and Ignorant

The management sucks. If you are ready to be cursed by the management team, and willing to take insults, I would recommend you to try these folks out. The management team has a habbit of cursing and insulting residents for no reason. I have lived at these apartments for one year, and during my stay, the apartment management only cleaned the breezeways once. I feel that the management does good at saving and cutting the maintenance and up keep budget as low as possible. For an example, the gates never work even though a deposit is taken for a gate card from each resident upon move in. The property stays dirty and Dog Poop can be found everywhere, so please wear boots if you plan to visit. Good luck in your exploration.

Opinion: I wouldn´t recommend these apartments to my best friend´s dog.

I do agree that the previous management was better then the present as posted by other members on this board. I guess the reason I have stayed here so long is the convenience. The area is one of the nicest in Plano, but the apartments just don´t fit in there anymore. It is not that they are THAT horrible, but they have definately gone downhill since the latest Management took over. Someone needs to ask them what their occupancy rate is...really low...and don´t ask them, coz they will lie through their teeth straight on your face...They are letting all sorts of rift raft move in. I am not trying to be racial by any means at all, but you could probably count all the quality people that live there on one hand now. Security gates, which are ALWAYS OPEN!!! There is NO security to speak of whatsoever. Like I said, the only reason I stay is because of the convenience to work and family. <br>

Excellent apartments

I recently moved into Thornbury at Chase Oaks <br><br>apartments. I reviewed these comments before I came out to view them. I was weary at first, however, i came out anyway and received wonderful treatment by staff and have a beautiful apartment. I think some people may be dissatisfied with everything. Please come out and view this community. I am sure you will love it as much as I do.

Office personell is horrible

I have lived here for a while and sometime in 2002 the management changed. They are very rude and do not listen to what you have to say. They tried to make us pay extra rent and when we asked to speak to the property owners, they would not give us their name. Every month I have to go to the office and explain my contract with them. They are absolutely the worst apartment personell I have ever had to deal with! Also there is dog crap all over the place, they don´t make people pick up after themselves.

don´t waste your money

I have lived here for 2 years now. The previous management were awesome! Very helpful, nice, down to earth. Now, it´s a total 180!! They´re rude, not friendly at all, and very snotty. I am moving out this month because I am so dissatisfied. I also know that our previous maintenance person (who was awesome by the way) quit for the same reason--awful office help. Steer clear, unless they decide to change their ways.

Nice apt, but horrible management!!!!

The past year, the apt. management has been very irresponsible when replying to renters´ needs. Their staff is not properly trained to run an apartment complex. The do not cooperate when making service requests (initial and repeated requests), they do not admit fault and apologize when they´ve made important mistakes, and they apparently do not know how to take comments. There is no more pest control nor has there ever been any annual smoke detector checkups! For the $$$ we´re paying for rent, this is very unsatisfactory treatment -- but that doesn´t seem to faze them! After 2 years of living there (they were under better management previously), I am moving and not looking back!! My advise -- you can definitely find a better place!!!

I don´t live at the apt complex, but I have been looking for another apt. I stopped in to check out the place and the people were very very rude! I would not come back if my life depended on it!

Beautiful but no insulation between walls

I have lived here for about 3 months now in a one bedroom with a den apartment. The grounds and apartment are beautiful. We have a gorgeous view of the golf course, and it is so peaceful and relaxing. The maintenance staff and office staff are very nice. We love the huge windows in every room, and the layout of the apartment is great. We haven't had any problems with our apartment. About a month ago we got neighbors above us and in the unit next to ours. Before, everything was so peaceful and quiet. Now we realize there is no insulation between units. We hear every footfall of our neighbor above us. I hear when he opens the drawers in his bedroom, when he takes a shower, etc. Then someone moved into the apartment to the side of us. We hear him snoring at night, hear his alarm clock, hear him talking, etc. For such a beautiful apartment, I really wish they had put some insulation between units. The parking is only an issue if you come home after 10 at night. I used to work late, and I would always have to park away from my apartment. However, it's such a beautiful complex, it was nice walking and seeing the trees. Now I'm at home more and don't work late, and I always park right next to my apartment. Overall, this is a beautiful apartment and so much better than all the other ones we looked at. Plus, it's a great price for what you get. We also have excellent access to 75, Cinemark, restaurants, and anything else we could need. There's also a great park a few blocks away with walking trails through the woods. It's an excellent location and a beautiful complex.
