really so bad
The first time I went to apply for an apartment I explained that my original apartment expired on March 9, so I needed to move in on March 9, and the staff gave me the option to do so, but I had a lot of trouble submitting the process online, because I am a foreigner and my English is not good, I could only send an email, but they wouldn't return the email, so I had to go to the apartment again and again to move the whole process forward, even my bank statement was uploaded 4 times. Each time they said they received it, but then asked me to upload it again later. I received an email from the system that the apartment was approved before March 9, but the email where I asked the manager what I needed to do, he didn't answer me at all. So I had to go to the apartment on March 8. At this point he told me I couldn't move in until the 10th, which I agreed to, even though I was a little angry. They said they had to pay a deposit before signing the contract, and although I didn't think I should, I did pay the deposit very quickly. But instead of a contract, I waited for a notice that I would be delayed until the 15th, which meant I would have to move to a hotel for 6 nights, which was costly for me. The manager said that if I didn't want to, I could have my deposit refunded to me. But the next day, he told me that if I cancel the reservation, I will not get any money. They are very slow to deal with problems and have a very bad attitude, while being able to very casually overturn previous promises. Please be sure to be careful with them.

The staff here are very rude and even the management don’t care about their residents. Worst place to live here,zero suggestions. I have been living here since 04/22, It went so smoothly until last month when I saw the rent. They added 120$ extra in the 9th month rent. I had to make lot of calls and e-mails to them why they charged extra. After few conversations they removed it and all happy then. Again the manager asked to pay 35$ extra from next pay to park my car where I have been parking from 8 months. Reserved parking is allotted for me when I signed the lease. But the manager here said I don’t know why you parked here and who told you but as per my rule you need to pay extra money. She demanded me to pay extra money from the ninth month of the lease. It’s always good that management should be backing up their staff but at least they should try to know the truth or talk or listen from both sides. Even today I had a bitter experience at their office, I went to discuss about the lease renewal or vacate but the lady told me that she need to discuss with her manager and I have wait 4 days until Monday. Why are they here if they don’t sort out residents inquiries and ask them to wait 4 days. I asked her the same question she replied you should have come here yesterday, my manager was here yesterday. Lol I didn’t know what to say after her reply.????

My experience was terrible, the office staff does not communicate with you or each other & they are so so rude when they are in the wrong. Our apartment was leaking with wires out everywhere. It took us going to corporate to get the leak fixed a WEEK later. They lied to us about the pool and fitness center. The city hasn't approved for the pool to be open - shows their incompetence & the fitness center is only open when the office is open. So there are pretty much no amenities. You pay for a gate fob but for what? I've never seen the gates closed. The only experience I look forward to is giving my notice and moving out. I don't recommend this place in any way shape or form. If we didn't need something last minute I would have never leased here.

The apartment itself has been nice but we've had lots of trouble with a persistent maintenance issue ever since just a few months after we moved in that renders our second bathroom essentially unusable. Otherwise its a pleasant enough place to live.

The staff has been terrible at communicating. They let me know an hour before my move that my apartment wasn't ready. I have now been here a week and the work to my apartment is still not completed. They have allowed me to move in but I still don't have fixtures on my cabinets and drawers. I am also without a mirror in one of my bathrooms. They have given multiple dates of when that work will be completed but those dates have come and gone. They only communicate new dates when I reach out to them but then nothing happens and no one updates me. I feel helpless and taken advantage of.

Apartments are good and spacious but management has to work on their communication. Looks like they are short of staff , they are always busy no one answers the phone , no one replies to emails. I placed a work order a week ago but there is no response from staff yet.

Lots of problems with bugs in the apartment, but pest control is worthless. Maintenance is only helpful about half the time. They will mark jobs as complete without even checking on them, and they also don't bother checking or actually repairing apartments between tenants.

Living here has been great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The new investors are making this community more modern from the inside and out.My only complaints is the turn around in the office and the rent hikes.

Leasing agents are unprofessional and deceiving. My application took 10 days to be approved and it normally takes a day or two. I had to email management for results. My agent Nikol was barely available and other leasing agent DrewAnn, would redirect me to her. The apartment I selected looks nothing like the pictures online and was told it would be exactly the same. I asked to see a model of the apartment or to see my apartment and was told many times none were available to see. I was told washer and dryer was included and it was not. I was never told the apartments were under renovations and that my apartment was a base model. I was misinformed many times and sent in circles.

My experience started out terrible. My apartment was rented to me in horrible condition from a Ice Storm. We had been living in a hotel and was giving certain dates to move in that shouldn't have been given. The staff worked to get most things fixed in time but was unsuccessful in a lot of areas. That was a year ago. Some of the things still need to be fixed. I have cracks in walls, holes in walls, dishwasher is not placed properly meaning it doesn't fit in its "spot" properly, windows are not sealed properly as it relates to weather stripping, the balcony door in the living room is uneven. My stove barely works properly. The Ants are terrible, but I guess that's a Texas thing. The grounds are not kept clean like I feel they should be (in my building area) cigarette butts everywhere in my area. We have vallet trash but the residents leave bags of trash, boxes, furniture, all in front of their doors all the time which then causes Bugs and whatever else to crawl everywhere. The pool never works. We can't seem to keep the same property manager long enough but I can say the one that's there now I think she's trying to make a difference. For the amount of money that we pay some things should just be better. I do however love my apartment and the space. The community is getting better. I look forward to changes.

Management staff has been wonderful in this whole process. Nikol is great at answering and helping you through your move. The property has great amenities, all under renovation. New workout room, parcel for packages, and beautiful decks by the pool. Best it the are for our furry friends!

I will never live here again once my lease is up! I had a cloud in my apartment twice in one day yet the staff never contacted me about it. I had discussing sludge from a backed up pipe and was never offered to have my apartment professionally cleaned by a sanitation company. Communication from the staff is lacking.

I love the atmosphere and feel very relaxed in my home. The dog park and walking areas are a plus. The office staff are friendly and helpful any time I've interacted with them. Golf course view is beautiful.

Unfortunately, if you are looking for a place to be happy, call home, have peace of mind, and know that your rent payment is worth the money, this place is not what you need. This apartment complex is the worst place I have ever encountered. The maintenance service is horrible; they don't fix your issue UNTIL DAYS LATER. There is garbage and dogs poop all over the complex; hallways NEVER GET CLEAN UP; during the nights, main gates are open, allowing strangers to access the complex (very unsafe). The management staff are rude and unprofessional and don't care about your problems. Customer service is ok at the begging for you to sign a contract; after that, you are a number to pay the rent only. I have lived in this place for 2 years; I have seen how this place gets worse and worse. I regret extending my contract with them (trying to save money, but it is not worth it at all). Stay away from this facility and look for a place that probably will be more money, but you can live without worries, have a peaceful mind, know that your problems will get fixed upon your request, and be satisfied.

The staff here are kind, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs!!! They made me feel welcome and HEARD from the moment I walked in the door!!! I had just had a horrible experience at another complex and was extremely upset and when I explained my situation, the entire team jumped up to help me solve my issue!!! I ended up having to wait a few weeks for my apartment to be available, but it was worth it, to move into a place where people were so caring about their clients!!! I LOVE MY NEW HOME!!!!

While I admit I don't make use of all of the amenities of the community, as time goes by I look to change that and to get more comfortable to become a little more involved. I use the pool and run along Blue Bonnet Trail and wish that I had discovered it when I first moved here.

Please don't stay in this community, Maintenance is worst , Nobody care about here. They closed the service order without fixing the problem. Nobody is picking your calls. Cost is living is high here but facilities are vey poor.

Dissatisfied. My needs were not met. There are bugs in this unit, I'm not sure if the pest control person did a thorough job. Some of the utilities don't function properly. AC thermostat has inconsistent reading.

The apartment is located in a great area. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Amenities are not that great, dog park should be upgraded, pool needs to be kept clean but the gym is okay. I like the option for garage or covered parking. They definitely should do more about the roaches outside, it looks like downtown NYC at night with them crawling everywhere. Maintenance is terrible.

I cannot recommend Thornbury at Chase Oaks. No one seems to walk the property on a regular basis so there is always trash laying around. Maintenance issues take months and even years to be taken care of. Some are ignored forever. Yet, as the service gets worse and worse, the rent goes higher and higher.

This is one of the worst apartments I have ever moved into along with family members they did not allow us to look at the apartment due to “maintenance” and when we finally paid the deposit they said they did a lot of renovation and that was the biggest lie ever. They did not do anything to the apartment these are just the lists of the defects of the apartment that I found and many more to come. ——Living Room -Walls: Drywall damaged on corners in living room -Plugs, Switches, A/C Vent: Not flus with wall and over sprayed -Ceiling: Paint needs to be done on vent -Doors, stops, locks: Doors creak when opening / locks get stuck ———Kitchen -Walls: Paint on other surfaces, needs new coat or correction -Plugs, switches, A/C vents: Outlets very loose, screw missing -Woodwork / Baseboards: Cabinets damaged by wet paint -Cabinets, drawers, handles: needs to be painted again or replaced -Stove / oven, tray, pans, shelves: stove tops need to be replaced or cleaned -Refrigerator, trays, shelves: Trays need to be replaced (freezer ice tray) -Sink / Disposal: Weird side knob / object on side of sink needs removal or cleaning; disposal made metal grinding sound when first turned on; lime deposits on faucets -Microwave: very dusty on top, missing grates maybe? I called emergency maintenance, due to my air going out & Herman responded right away & fixed the problem with no delays & was very knowledgeable with what the issue was and provided me with some “do & donts to avoid it going out again . Such a nice gentleman . Thank you !
