Broadland is amazing and Miss Manjap Kaur is awesome

This is the first apartment we visited in this area and we fell in love immediately. We din't even bother to go to see other apartments and immediately signed the contract. The lady at the front desk, miss Manjap Kaur was awesome. She was very kind and helpful and always smiling. We really appreciate her assistance and hospitality.

Broadlands is Awesome!!

For starters make sure you ask for Manjap Kaur. She is amazing and so helpful and nice. I am on my second lease here at Broadlands apartments and plan on renewing my lease for another year. It is located in a very convenient area. Less than one mile from the grocery store and 15 minutes from IAD.

horrible moving experience

When I applied through their portal, they displayed a lower monthly rent and collected a $400 registration fee. However, on the confirmation page, only the $400 fee was shown, and there was no indication of the monthly rent or the moving date. This lack of documentation leaves me without any proof of our agreement. A few days later, I received a welcome letter from the leasing office with an additional $75 monthly rent increase, which they attributed to a change in the moving date. Interestingly, when I initially applied on their website for the same moving date, the rate was $75 lower. Furthermore, their welcome note clearly mentioned a $400 registration fee waiver, but they are now denying it due to the moving date discrepancy, which is a new development. It appears they are engaging in deceptive business practices, and I believe this should be reported to the Virginia Department of Consumer Services. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please let me know, as we may need to file a joint report.

The leasing office staff are top notch. We feel welcomed, well informed and immediately at home. In particular, they answer questions rapidly, handle any issues and are generally very responsive. The condition of the unit is excellent, and the grounds are very well maintained.

Would have relocated long ago if not for the lease cancellation penalty fee, and amount of stuff to move. The banging and screaming noise levels from 95DR303 (see attached) is absurd, and surely not protected under their lease. Aside from that - maintenance has always been awesome sauce, and location is perfect.

The community is so serene and peaceful! Management is very kind and professional! Would definitely recommend calling this place home to anyone out there who is looking for a wonderful friendly environment to live! Where you choose to live, the place you end up calling the home , will be one of the most important decisions that you have to make. It’s not just about what the property looks like, which let me tell you, it is a treat and a 50% of to have found a place that combines style and a feeling of hospitality so perfectly, but it’s also the people that you get to deal with day in and day out. I especially would like highlight helpful attitude and nature of the property management team to include : 1)amazing Paloma, who assisted me with the entire application process, showed me around, 2) another amazing soul Naurin who similarly was here from the start, from the moving date and continues to be here for me to listen, to understand and to address all of my needs , concerns in the best way possible. 3) I also want to thank Manu and Andrew whose continuing support gives me warm feeling of family like community, the place you get to call the home; these are just some of the few reasons to consider The Broadlands Apartments, the place you get to hang your hat at the end of the day because it simply feels like your true home. I have enjoyed my time renting here!!!!!!. Everyone is pleasant and highly motivated to make this community an amazing place to live. The maintenance staff has always fixed any issues promptly and without fail. They are courteous and assiduous. The leasing team, assistant manager and manager are the epitome of customer service. They make sure the community is notified about everything that is happening in advance. I love being in the know and they go above and beyond!!! To bring the community together, they throw exceptional gatherings and social parties. Their give-away and drawings are one of the highlights because you never know what awesome thing you may win. If you want a safe,beautiful and just an overall great place to live, please look no further. The only reason I'm leaving is due to my job relocation.

Color scheme is very nice. Floor plan layout feels very spacious. Feels like and older style which has been kept up to date. The laundry room is nice also. The apartment has real tile at my entry way and carpet. I like carpet a lot. So does my cat.

Excellent place to stay

Great location - Near to Market, School with good rating. With all the facilities like - Gym, pool. Very peaceful and well maintained Condo staff is so helpful. Naurin has been very patient with me for my queries and so helpful.

We have lived here for 8 years so have seen the great turnover in the staff over this period of time. The maintenance does a terrific job of maintaining the grounds and respond quickly to maintenance issues. Small children sometimes play in the street which personally, I find quite dangerous with the amount of parking spots and cars that travel through which make it a hazard with children playing outside. The entrance gate is often not working or broken, the move in special was great and it was nice being so close to work all this time. The decks and permanent fixtures on the outside of the buildings need to be powerwashed as mold is growing but overall, the aesthetics of the community are well maintained. My biggest complaint is the trash area and the smallness of our townhouse (and we have the biggest townhouse in the development). We have lived here for almost 8 years and wouldn't have stayed this long if we were not reasonably satisfied living here.

Very pleased with our selection and with the support and care of the overall facility - the business room is excellent - some sanitizer cleaner might be good due to many hands handling / touching keyboard/mouse. Also maybe add a spot to put papers being tossed away so they are not just stuffed into a draw.

This is a very nice and peaceful community to live. The complex of this apartments looks very nice and clean. The offices people are very professional and helpful with their tenants. Van Metre apartments have an excellent services cause every time I requested a maintenance service, they responded right away the same day. If's I can afford, I will continue to live here. Van Metre apartments is a Home Sweet Home to me.

I like the amenities and the apartment is nice, updated, and spacious. The office staff and maintenance staff are helpful, courteous, and responsive. Some of my neighbors aren't very courteous (loud noise, not cleaning public spaces) but that's a problem everywhere.
