Not as nice as it was when I moved in 4 years ago. My building has a couple of extremely noisy and rude neighbors that Management refuses to deal with. Spiders are a big problem although we are charged monthly for pest control. The only thing Management responds to is pet waste that is not cleaned up. Will join the many other long term residents who are moving when their lease expires.

My primary issue is the neighbors below me and their music at 5am. Other than that, the team at Adalay Bay have been absolutely wonderful. I am new to the area, and I'm happy with my choice. One suggestion is to police the poop pick up at the dog park

The only significant problem it's the parking. I often have to park a block or two away. They do not require parking stickers, even though the signs say they do.I was not even issued one. I think, based on rent,I should have an assigned space. This will probably result in my moving when r the one year lease is done

Great community and staff. Very prompt and fast with any problems. Location is also a big plus being that the complex is right off of battlefield Blvd. It's easy and simple to go anywhere from here. The outdoor areas are always so beautifully done and they constantly have people doing work to maintain it.

My experience so far has been great. I love the community and all of the other residents have all been welcoming. I just need a few things checked out in my apartment that I filled out on the move-in fom but other than that I plan on staying here for a while.

I like the apartment, the area, and the staff. I absolutely hate that if arrive after 6pm, I have to park on the opposite of the apartment complex and walk a mile to get to my apartment. I also don't like that I wasn't explained how I will be charged for my water bill.

Adalay Bay is the worst place to rent. It may look beautiful but the staff is trained to look at renters as just another number. There is no compassion or grace. I was on time for every rent payment for two years and the one time I was a day late they charged me an extra $150! Not even the bank charges that much for a late fee and gives a one time grace. They didn't care that I had been a good renter. They hike the tent price up every time it's time to renew the lease. The rent price you start with is not the rent you continue if you want to stay there. It's all about the bottom line with adalay bay. I prefer to do live somewhere were I am seen as a person and shown respect. The staff was very rude.

Great community! Very clean and upkeep is amazing. Staff and maintenance team are awesome. Apartments and facilities are beautiful and it's in a very convenient location. I really love living here!

We have lived here for almost 8 years we love it here , the staff is friendly and maintenance is fast and they get the job done! The pool of course is my favorite and my family loves having summer cookout's out at the grills ! Adalay Bay is a great place to live.

One of the best apartment experiences we've had since moving to Chesapeake!!! We love the staff at Adalay Bay. They're very understanding and watch out for everyone that lives there. They're good with notifying you when you have a package or when there's something going on in the community. We love staying at Adalay Bay!!!!

The only thing that I have experience is big bugs in my apartment and some running and stomping but not all the Tim. The parking isn't the next but no other complaints. I have enjoyed my time here except for the big bugs that I can't stand them at all.

It's been good, I just had one inconvenient but was all dove it at the end, at the beginning I dint like the dog park but finally this month fix it, still when it rains a lot it doesn't work perfect but much better than before and still sometimes dog's owners don't pick up the pup even inside of the do park but what else we can do

Been here for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any problems getting our service requests finished in a timely manor. All the staff is very nice and helpful and my son just loves the playground. We are very happy with our apartment and the complex as a whole

I love the community. The pool area is one of the best I have seen in the area. The staff is great. Some changes occurred but in time it has gotten better and glad to see they care about the people that live there, and they care about their tenants.

I love the fact that yall are pet friendly as well as the neighbors. From the time i walked in the staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. It feels like i live in a vacation home and every day i come home i have 2 remind myself i do not have a check out time.

It's so nice and quiet I love it. The landscaping is beautiful and I love how close it is to everything I may need. My husband and I are very satisfied in choosing this apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to a friend!

do not move here! Our A/c did not work on the 1st day we moved in August! Yes! August. It was hot! That A/C went out at least 3xs in the 6 months we were there. Our master bath shower didn't work for 2 weeks! It was leaking to our downstairs neighbor. There is mold! Lots of it! Then they say it's the tenants fault there is mold. That we take too long of showers, we cook with our lids off, so we let out too much steam and humidity into the place. We did everything they recommended to avoid the mold from coming back but it came right back. It's ridiculous! They are very nice to get you in but fail at keeping you. Luckily we were only looking for a temporary space while we were in transition but it was the worst apartment living experience. The "great" reviews on here have got to be the office making these up and saying they are verified tenants. No way that there is this many happy tenants. All you have to do is go in there and talk to some of the tenants and you will see these reviews are fake. So glad I'm out.

The complex seems warm and inviting from the outside. I am one who actually likes the paint color of the buildings. The problems I am having is the amount of mildew/mold in the apartments, no linen closet, and the water bill. No one can seem to explain why the heck the water bill is so high and increases each month. This is the only complex I have ever lived in where the water bill is a $100+ each month. In an apartment? Seriously. This would of been my cue not to move here if I would have known so here's yours. I rented a town home and paid that every two months. We don't even get a bill showing how much water we used as a unit. I plan on looking more into this issue because something is definitely off when it comes to the water. I do not plan on renewing my lease this time. I would suggest better cleaning and maintaining the units and do more updates like get rid of these dated blinds and old awful color carpets.

The staff is quick to respond to maintenance issues. They are courteous and friendly and make the residents feel like friends, rather than customers. They are eager to help, and the property and the buildings are beautiful and safe, as a result. I was concerned about living alone there, but my concerns were quickly erased once I experienced the dedication and the friendliness of all of the staff.

It is pet friendly, beautiful pool and courtyard. Nice gym and business center. Walking distance to Food Lion, nail salon, and restaurants. The maintenance crew is friendly. The office staff are always ready to help with any concerns and or problems.

The service and staff were great and very helpful. We love the apartment as a whole pet friendly convenient friday residents and the apartments are very spacious with an open floor plan. We would highly recommend adalay bay. The homes are definitely worth it.

it is a very safe community but for the price & the things I had to endure the first week of my move in is not acceptable & no one should have to experience that. I wish everything could have been different b/c I was extremely excited just to be disappointed
