Overall this is a good spot to live at! Office staff are extremely helpful especially Rachel she is th property manager she's very nice and helpful. Location is great! Free car wash station big plus. I'm happy we made the choice to live here!!

I have been happy overall because of the location. Its next to shopping, banking, Rite Aid and the Hospital and Doctors offices are just blocks away. I still can't afford to stay here, the rent goes up each year about $50-$60 each year. Overall I like it here.

Rachel who is the manager really knows great customer service!! Really nice apartments and nice community. Excellent location! The pool is really nice and the clubhouse and business center is great. But most what I like about is the people that live there. The people that I have encountered there are really nice.

Very good. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. All of the residents seem friendly. My only concern is all the pitbulls here. Most of them seem too strong for the owners to handle, they frighten me when I'm walking my little dog

This is a beautiful community, the landscaping is really nice. The inside is spacious. Huge closets and bedrooms. Maintenance has fixed several things and they fix it quickly. Office staff is nice and friendly. Great location near many major shopping centers and highways.

I like the complex. That is the reason why i have stayed here for so long (11 years). In 2004 - building 900, in 2007 building 300 (downsized to 2 bedroom), then in 2010 building 400 (upgraded to 3 bedroom). I feel secure here and the outside is well taken care of. It is the inside that i feel needs improvement. I am paying way too much for an older apartment.

This is a brimming community of working people, including lots of military and law enforcement; exceptional facilities (pool, gym, conference center, etc)-definitely a value for the rent; scarce parking and poor customer service are downfalls, but overall decent community.

Excellent place to live. Office is friendly and so is the maintenance staff. Would recommend living here. Very quick to respond to any of the minor issues I have had while living here. Everyone that works here is friendly and has remembered my name whenever we pass outside when I'm walking my dog.

I love this apt complex. The team in the front office is first rate. They always great you with a smile and their service in second to none. I rent a one bedroom, upgraded apt on the bottom floor and have had no issues. The pool in the Summer is great and the complex has monthly get-togethers for neighbors to introduce themselves to one another. Except for autumn leaves blowing around they keep the grounds in great shape and clean. If you are looking for an apt complex in the Chesapeake area, stop by and give this place a look.

I like this apartment complex. The apartments are not the cheapest...but you get what you pay for. I've never had an issue getting any maintenance issues resolved and the office staff has always been friendly towards me. In fact, the main reason I selected Adalay bay over a different complex was because the staff was so friendly and streamlined everything when I was searching for a place to live. Angela really helped me in setting up renters insurance, the electric and meeting the other requirements for move in. My only gripe is that the dog clean up bags keep going down in quality...one ripped on me the other day...not cool. I would certainly and confidently recommend this apartment complex to my friends and family.

If you are searching for a apartment ADALAY BAY is NOT the place you want to live. For the amount of money you will pay to live here you should never have bugs, i have never seen so many insects, even after they told me Orkin "so-called" sprayed. Now when i first moved here, ------- was awesome!!! she always made me feel welcome and was always willing to help, but when she left and ------------- took over the entire complex went downhill. A water pipe burst in my apt and it took ------ 1 hour!! 1 hour!!!! to get maintenance to me and when they came they cut my carpet up, put a fan down and left. there was so much mildew left in my apt, the apt reeked, i told her and she did absolutely nothing. she completely brushed me off. and when asked if i was renewing my lease or not i told her no, and she had the nerve to look surprised!! on top of all that, she is sooooo doggone rude!!! i also put a trouble ticket in to have my batteries replaced in my smoke alarm, and the maintenance people pulled my smoke detector apart, never replaced the batteries and left it hanging. I'm 5'2 with 10ft ceilings..obviously I can't reach so why would you leave it hanging anyway??? so overall all, if ------- were still working here, then yes i would definitely recommend this place, but not with ------------- running it, do not move here!! save yourself some money and a headache!!!

My husband, son and I moved in for a temporary stay between selling and buying a home. We were very impressed and happy with the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds, and the control of noise levels. Super bonus is the free coffee, free car wash, playground, pool, dog park and dog bags and trash stations conveniently located all around. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a friendly, clean, professionally staffed environment.

The apartments are very nice, but we were allowed to move into a different apartment even though there were visible ants in the main front room. Other than this issue and the ability to correct it, the front staff are very helpful and understanding.

The staff was extremely helpful. we were able to move in within the weekend. There are no restrictions on dogs here, and there is a nice park 5 about minutes away. The beach is about 30 minutes away, and everything is conviniently close to the apartments.

MyMAA...Everyone knows that...Personally I like to think of it as... MyRachael- Always has an open door policy and always makes you feel at home. You can feel comfortable discussing anything with her. She is currently helping me transfer my lease to another MAA property. Very much appreciated! MyAngela-What a gem! Always a welcome greeting when you walk through the door to the office. She always has her finger on the pulse of the community. If you have an issue...She has a solution. MyShelby- Shelby is the very reason I am a resident here. Her lease consulting skills far surpass any leasing consultant I have dealt with in the past. She doesn't lease apartments, she finds you a home. Always a smile on her face and an upbeat attitude toward everything. Hang on to this one she is a keeper! MyBill- Talk about above and beyond the call of duty. It was a Sunday night, and I needed a package that had been mailed to me for work Monday morning. Bill was off that day and I asked him to check for my package explaining why. At 9:30pm a knock at the door and package in hand for me. You don't find that kind of service elsewhere. MyRaul- Runs a tight ship with maintenance and always waves to greet you. He recently repaired the water damage to my ceiling leak. Looks good and no mess. You wouldn't even know he was there. Thank you! MyEvett- Always a smile and a wave! I see her work very hard around the community and many times long days with odd hours. Keep up the great work ethic Evett! Many times people complain about what they don't like or feel is wrong, but rarely speak up when things are right. I hope the service, friendship and sense of community I have received at Adalay Bay is an example of your other properties. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS! I will miss you all... This is a great place. Everyone one is super friendly, accept all breeds which is awesome!! They have a nice little dog play area with a playground next to it for little kids. Nice pool and an awesome fitness center and business office. I like the cyber lounge. I haven't seen a place like that before!

I'm not happy with our move-in experience. Our lease is 14 months, I'm hoping it goes by rather quickly. Hopefully our stay won't be like our move-in. In my opinion, if the carpets are ruined by pets then they should be replaced. Cleaning them does not exactly do much to the odor once it sinks in. My allergies have subsided but the smell is giving me headaches daily. Not feeling comfortable with have my baby crawl in her home is unfortunate. I was not aware that a "pet friendly" community meant that they were not baby friendly. It's unsanitary.

Although I'm over 22 miles from my place of work I like this area because everything I need is within a 1 to 4 mile range from here. The staff is professional and the maintenance crew are outstanding and helpful.

I have had an awful experience with this community. It is very expensive especially for what you get (no parking, bugs, huge drafts, not safe to walk in grass unless you want to step in dog poop, and an outrageous water bill even if you don't use any water. Not military and child friendly, especially for single mothers.

I love living here. It's a very nice area. the location is one of the best locations I've seen when looking at other apartment complexes to live in. The shopping centers are very close and I like that there is a Navy Federal Credit Union right down the street.
